The results are in! Lucille's team from now on will consist of [Eventual] Absol (Hope), Arcanine (Blaze), Chesnaught (Theros), Gyarados (Livia), Tyranitar (Osiris), and… *Dramatic music* Aurras, Noivern! A pretty interesting member for her team. Though... We're still a bit off from an actual battle between them.

Other news... My usual work computer crashed with battery issues! Hurray... This may or may not affect my upload schedule. other than that, before my computer's battery failed me. One of the Poketubers (Pokémon Youtuber) that I usually watch. has started a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky playthrough. So yeah, even though I don't have much in terms of free time... I did make a chapter, but it will be a one-shot until further notice. Hopeful schedule for the stories, Pokémon Reborn = Fossil Fighters Champions = Maybe Pokémon Mystery Dungeon (or something else depending on how I feel).

Time: 9:13

Location: Agate Circus

It hadn't been long since Cain, Lucille, and Percival crossed into the Carnelia region of the Reborn Region. There in agate they found the city under some sort of sleeping spell, and with the help of the eccentric lion tamer of Agate Circus, Terra, were able to get out of there without falling asleep… as well as rescuing Cain's sister Aya, and Reborn's Rock leader Hardy. Well with 'rescue' defined as sending them flying with a massive hammer, it wasn't too sure if either Aya or Hardy landed safely…

Continuing on, Lucille, Cain, and Percival all made it to Agate circus, where the trio split up to try and locate the whereabouts of either Hardy or Aya. Lucille searching the southern side met with Marie, Percival's half-sister, who should have been in Calcenon with a few other friends. Lucille knew even if she got mad, Marie would still face the wrath of Percival, so asked Marie if she's seen anyone fitting the description of Aya or Hardy. To Lucille's surprise it sounded like Aya landed relatively safely, if not unconsciously. Following Marie's lead, they met with the Ringmaster of the Circus, where they learned Aya was brought into the Big Top Arena, and to meet Samson to get them there. Where they met over by the High Striker.

"High Striker up to go! Win prizes! Or something." Yelled a tall beefy man with light brown hair and onyx eyes. Next to him was a tall High striker, a carnival game used with a hammer to test power. "Lemme demonstrate! ...Hah!" The man didn't take a hammer for this, slamming his fist down onto the balance launching the metal ball up into the bell, enough force to knock the bell straight off the High striker!

"Woah!" Marie and Lucille both looked on in surprise. As the bell was sent flying into the air.

Seeing the astonishment on the faces of the two girls, Samson smirked. "Not bad, huh?"

"Cool!" Marie the little kid shouted, in awe. While the other two clowns by the high striker sighed and complained about having to replace a new bell.

"Yes, um, you're Samson, correct?" Lucille was more focused on finding Aya,

"Yeah, the Circus' Strongman." Samson nodded, "My Pokémon do most of the work for the main shows, but as you can see, I ain't a light weight. Anyway—"

"Ah, Lucille! have you found anything yet." A voice called over to Lucille, interrupting Samson.

"Percy!" Lucille shouted back somewhat surprised. "Yes, apparently they found Aya!"

"Percival?!" Marie flinched hearing her older brother's voice.

"Marie?!" Percival said out loud, surprised to see her. "Why-? Shouldn't you be… Marie."

"I'm sorry…" Marie bowed her head.

"You're lucky, I have other things to be concerned about. You running off" Percival sighed. Turning to Lucille, "So they found Aya, that's good. Oh, sorry… I interrupted. My apologies." Percival finally noticing Samson, apologized.

"Eh, you know the girl that was brought in then. So, it's not too bad." Samson shrugged, "I carried her into our back room not too long ago. It's in the Big Top." Samson turning to the two clowns running the High Striker. "If anyone comes looking for me tell 'em, I found three friends of the girl, and I'm taking them to her."

"Sure thing." One clown answered,

"Alright, come on. I'll take you to your friend." Samson nodded, and motioned for the three to follow. Going through the crowds of the circus finally, reaching a very giant globule of people crowding the entrance to the Big Top. "Crowd's annoying." Samson muttered before taking a deep breath. "HEY! MOVE IT!"

"!" The people in the crowd instinctively flinched, including Marie, Percival, and Lucille. noticing the Circus member, the crowd parted tot eh sides to allow passage.

"After you," Samson nodded allowing the three to enter.

"""Thank you.""" Percival, Marie, and Lucille all said, entering the tent.

Once inside they saw the giant under belly of the tent. A weird wooden floor with several switches of sorts, the metal bars and railings to support the giant tent as well.

Though as soon as Percival, Marie, and Lucille entered they were flanked by a woman with teal eyes and navy hair wearing a leotard. {A/N: I think that's what Ciel is wearing is called?}. "So sorry everyone, but I'm afraid that's all she wrote! Do come back for our next show!"

"Eh, I don't think they should be leaving so soon." Samson remarked entering the tent as well.

"Oh, Samson." The woman reacted quickly with a face now of surprise. "Oh, did these two girls find the boy? I'm surprised he's conscious."

Percival was perplexed for a moment, then dawning the realization the woman meant Hardy. "No…I'm not him."

"Yeah this is…" Samson stopped at a sudden realization. "You know, I didn't really ask for your names."

"Unctuous as always, hm, samson?" The woman sighed. "Well, my name is Ciel. I'm the spotlight of the Agate Circus specialty show. Aerial ballet is my forte."

"Well, my name is Percival Wisteria." Percival said extending his hand out.

Marie hearing 'Wisteria' for the first time. "Wisteria?... Ah well. I'm his half-sister, Marie Whitehall."

"Lucille." Lucille's introduction was rather short compared to Marie's and Percival's. Still struggling to define yourself, huh? Luxen or Umbrasyl, to everyone else it would just be a decision of a name… but for Lucille, this was a struggle she couldn't decide an answer for.

"A pleasure to meet you, darlings." Ciel smiled the three.

"Anyway, they're here for the girl." Samson nodded.

"Oh!" Ciel's face had now shown relief. "Superb, I was worried no one would claim her. Follow me, she's back this way."

"I hope Aya's okay…" Lucille muttered.

"Yeah… that was quite the distance she was launched…" Percival murmured as well, they followed Ciel along

"Don't worry, she's well." Ciel noted, "Miraculously."

As they entered the room where Aya was, Percival and Lucille noticed that the purple hair girl was still unconscious and by all truth miraculously alive.

"She's your friend, right?" Samson was a bit curious to the group's relationship, and asked.

"It's…" Lucille and Percival looked at each other and knew the same thing.

"Complicated…" Percival sighed, a hand over his face. Getting tired of their circumstances. "When hasn't it been complicated for us."

Before anyone could try to wake Aya up, another person entered the room. Wearing a top hat and a very stylish suit it was the circus' Ring Master. "Hey everyone! We've got another visitor!"

"Aya!" Cain pushed past, noticing Percival and Lucille, but pushing past them anyway. To his sister.

"By the way, is something up with Terra?" The Ring Master asked, where Samson and Ciel gave quizzical looks. "She just ran up, punched our showers and then scampered off." You have got to be kidding me… she literally did what she said.

"Aya, can you hear me?" Though Percival and Lucille were more with Cain on the side of trying to waking up Cain's sister Aya. A tone of worry clears in Cain's voice. "Are you okay? please wake up!"

"Unnh… I feel like shit…" Aya started stir and groaned. As she opened her eyes and focused, she noticed her brother next to her. "…Cain?"

"Oh, thank goodness!" Cain breathed a sigh of relief. As much as their relationship is strained, the two still cared for each other.

"Been a while…" Aya muttered, there was now an awkwardness to the air, now that all worry had been relieved.

"Yeaaaah." Cain stretched out his words as he scratched his head. "Sorry about that. How's Mom?"

"Tch, don't ask." Aya said, rolling her eyes. Both her and Cain could already know what the answer to that was. As Aya scanned the room she noticed Percival and Lucille were there, as well as a new girl with dark skin and hair, but another person was missing. "Where's Hardy?"

"Ah!" Ciel had an ah-ha moment. "That must be the other boy whom we observed soaring not-quite-so-elegantly over the Circus."

"Can anyone ever soar elegantly when they're unconscious?" Marie asked, which was responded with a shrug.

"Hardy was supposed to show me his Gym. That's why we went up to agate, but…" Aya recalled her reason for going to Agate City, but as she recalled her mind hit a wall. "I can't remember what happened when we got there."

"Somethin' in the city has been conking people out. The city's been closed off since." Samson explained how people have been reportedly falling asleep in the city.

"Well… hasn't really been closed off from the south." Lucille said. "Me, Cain, and Percy were able to enter through Route 1."

"Yeah, we found you sleeping in the middle of the street." Cain nodded explaining that to Aya. "We almost fell asleep too, but then Terra happened."

"Apologies for her." Ciel held her head and sighed.

"Ahah," The Ring master gave an awkward laugh. "She may be rambunctious, but we do have to keep her around! After all, it wouldn't do for the Agate Circus to lose one of its famous Gym Leaders!"

"ah, I do recall hearing about that as I was trying to help with finding Aya." Percival remarked, then quickly thought. "(That crazy woman is a gym leader?!)" you have got to be kidding me…

""(That woman was a Gym Leader?!)"" Both Cain and Lucille had similar thoughts.

"With Samson joining us, we're newly called the Agate Ace Triumvirate." Ciel smiled, with a confident grin.

"That's right!" The Ring Master Boasted. "The Gym Battles make fantastic shows!"

"Flying-type Leader, at your service~" Ciel continued to smile, giving a slight bow.

"Terra is the Ground-type Leader, and Samson had newly joined us on the Fighting-Type." The Ring Master explained. While Percival Lucille and Cain somewhat flinched at the word fighting-type, recalling what had happened to the last Fighting Type Leader.

"Sup." Samson nodded, with a grin. "Very kind of the last Leader to retire all of a sudden I've been waiting for this."

"…" Percival and Lucille stayed silent, clear that Samson wasn't truly informed of what happened to the previous leader.

"It wasn't really like that at all…" Cain muttered,

With Aya noticing a slight change of the atmosphere, tried to change the subject back. "So… Hardy isn't here?"

"Nu-uh." The Ringmaster shook her head, a bit concerned about what happened to Hardy. "He probably fell somewhere in Route 2."

"So, then she should go find him!" Aya shouted slightly, not noticing the amount of worry in her voice.

"You really seem to like this guy, huh?" Cain said smugly, as if trying to tease her.

Aya now noticing the worry she had, started to blush. "What? N-no! It's not like that. I'm just worried. That's all. And I know he would do the same for us. So, Let's go!"

"Negative, little lady." As Aya tried to get off the couch, Samson and Ciel pushed her back down. "You sit right down. I'm surprised you can even walk after what Terra put you through.:

"I'm afraid I mut agree. It won't do at all to send you in your condition." Ciel continued. Although Aya landed nearly unscathed, it would be wise to make sure she didn't sustain any lasting or unnoticeable injury from her being launched through the sky.

"Then me and L—" as Percival was about to suggest he and Lucille to go searching.

"I can go." Lucille responded saying she'll go herself. "It'd be good for Cain to catch up with Aya. Family is important Afterall. Meanwhile, Percival should stay and rest."

"ah—" before Percival could say a thing.

"Unlike me and Cain, you most likely didn't get any sleep last night. Besides with two consecutive gym battles you must be tired." Lucille warned. "And Don't think neither me or Cain didn't notice how you were affected the most by Agate. Not too mention how you're still barely holding yourself up."

"…" Percival bit his lip as he was told to rest.

"ooh! Percy's getting scolded." Cain smirked, and pushed him down onto the couch. "Seeing as Marie's here she can tell me and Aya stories about your childhood."

"Wait, they're friends?" Aya asked pointing between Marie and Percival.

"Half-Brother" "Half-sister" Marie and Percival said with sighs, where Aya just looked between the two. Both very surprised and also very confused.

"Here I thought we had the confusing relationship…" Aya muttered facepalming.

"Oh please, the relationships they have, make ours look like nothing." Cain shrugged with a slight grin. While in most cases there would be an air of awkwardness, this was slowly becoming the norm for Percival and Cain.

As the four of them started to discuss what had occurred previously, Lucille was told that traversing Route 2 was a bit difficult and that she would need certain items. She was led by Samson to be brought to claim the items that Lucille would need.

"Hm… Should be right about here." Samson said reaching up to the top of a shelf. "Ah! There."

"I guess you have more use then just being a Gym Leader." Ciel mockingly smirked at Samson.

"Yeah, yeah." Samson rolled his eyes as he took the item of the shelf. He then gave Lucille a bag filled with a set of vials. "On route 2 there's a bunch of Crustle lurking about, while most trainers can beat 'em. Sometimes the best way to get across is to push a Crustle into a certain section and use 'em to leap a cross. To do that there are trees that give off pollen a lot like sleep powder, use the vials to collect it."

"…Thanks." Lucille nodded, somewhat understanding what she needed to do.

"hey. Tell me something." Samson called out to Lucille. "What happened to the last Fighting Leader? I was only told she retired, but you and your friends clearly seem to know something I don't."

"Um… She… She died fighting against Team Meteor." Lucille admitted the truth. Thinking back to the day…

"Oh Shit…" Samson grumbled understanding why Cain, Lucille and Percival were so awkward when the previous leader Came up. "Now I look like an ass for what I said."

"Nothing unusual there." Ciel noted, with an indifferent tone. Clearly indicating it wasn't unusual.

"Tch, yeah, but I usually try to hold off on making that known." Samson grumbled.

"It's alright, you didn't know." Lucille said. "Though I'm sure Percival must have been frustrated. I heard he fought against her, but didn't get the badge yet."

"Yeah, I heard you say he completed two gyms back to back." Samson said, slightly interested in fighting against Percival. "I guess I'll have to amp up the competition. Can't make it too easy."

"Oh, but you always do~" Coming from the Flying-Type Gym leader, with a wry smile.

"No comments from the "Super-Effective" Peanut gallery, thanks." Samson retorted."

"Aha~" Ciel laughed. "I may be the peanut gallery, but I'm not the one who's salty~"

"Well I should get going." Lucille said starting to feel awkward in this atmosphere. "I have no idea where Hardy may have landed, and no idea how big Route 2 is."
"Well, good luck Darling." Ciel smiled, "There have been reports of an Absol being spotted between Route 2 and Route 3. Be careful of the beast that brings Disaster."

"…" Lucille smiled faintly; she knew that wasn't the case for the Absol. But what she really thought. "(Maybe Hope will be there somewhere.)"
