So… Who wants to hear something annoying? I usually have one or two buffer chapters prewritten; just in case I get in to some trouble. Prime example, computer troubles. Other example is preparation for my college's finals week. Though in the past few weeks I've fallen behind on that. I was planning on using Thanksgiving as a time to write some buffer chapters. Well guess what. My regular computer has got a new battery, so I place the newly written chapters of 56 and 57 on a flash drive as an easy way to switch between things. I logon the day before posting this chapter just to read it over again. To my surprise, 56 and 57 got corrupted. So, I lost one chapter that was mainly for dialogue, and another that was the next Gym battle and their both fucking gone. No way to recover them, cause my idiotic brain didn't think to have a backup for a chapter.

Before anyone decides to ask where I write my stories on. I prefer to use Microsoft Word. Google docs is a good place to write, as I'd never need to use a fucking flash drive as a backup. But, I kinda like the spelling and grammar settings from Microsoft word better.

Because of how things turned out and I have to rewrite chapter 56 and 57, means I lose time for my buffer period. And I am a college student, as I said before Final exams are coming up… so, December 9th will be the rewritten chapter 57 also will be the last chapter posted until December 30th. I like to take holidays. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay, enough about my complaints about my luck as well as my time tables for activities. Let's reroll Chapter 56!

Chapter 56-

Time: 12:14

Location: Route 2

Through the mountain path, filled with wild Pokémon such as Crustle. It would be a dangerous path for most, but at this point the Pokémon Trainer Lucille had been used to it. The blonde-haired girl wandered through path looking for someone… well rather two things, but knew it was more important to find the Reborn region's Rock Leader Hardy. As it was, with the leader being sent flying by a hammer, Yes, I am serious, it was likely he might be injured. So, the more she hurried the better.

Though through the mountainous journey, she had not found him. She went further into Route 2, the more mountains and Pokémon she saw, but no sign of Hardy. As she began to worry something might have happened, she found herself upon a giant building. A manor, there was a sign on the front. On the sign [Amy and Tania's House! Welcome3]

"…" Lucille looked at the sign strangely. She wondered on the possibility of if whoever owned this place may have picked up Hardy. She sighed, hoping for the best, knocked loudly on the door.

There was a second before an answer came. The voice sounded rather familiar to Lucille. "Come on in! I can't get to the door right now."

"…Alright then." Lucille turned the handle of the door and entered. "Pardon the intr—Amaria?!"

Looking over into the house there was a small railing scattered around the house leading to things with a staircase leading one place, and a small balcony on the side leading to three different rooms. Though Lucille was more focused on the person on the couch in the living room. Sat there was a turquoise hair colored woman with teal eyes, this was Amaria Fiore, one of the Gym Leaders of Reborn, and a friend of Lucille and Percival. The last she heard of Amaria, she and Percival had taken down a Meteor Base in Reborn City. Though, Percival did say she was injured, but Lucille didn't know how bad.

"oh, Lucille!" Amaria had a bright smile she saw Lucille enter the house. "It's been so long. I'm surprised to see you here!"

"I can say the same thing." Lucille shyly smiled; it was nice to see someone you knew.

"ah, I can introduce you to Tania!" Amaria said enthusiastically, then in a loud voice. "Taniaaaa~ Come here!"

Though before Lucille could say anything. "Did you invite some random person in? You know the place is a mess, right?" In came in was a woman with red hair with a silver streak, and red eyes. She soon saw the blonde girl, "…hello."

"Uh… nice to meet you." Lucille nodded her head.

"So, Lucille. How's Percival, I'd thought if anything he'd be with you." Amaria stated. "Though, then again… you weren't with him last time I saw him."

"Oh, he's fine, if not tired." Lucille answered scratching her head. "He actually just finished taking on the Psychic and Dark Gym leaders of Reborn. He said he'd come, but I didn't think he'd last on a mountain excursion like this. It was rather hard, and if he came along well… I don't think we'd get here unscathed."

"Ah, is that so." Amaria was amused by Lucille's story. Despite this short recollection being shorter and losing several important details.

"He sounds about as reckless as my brother." Titania smiled slightly. "just earlier I found him sleeping face first in the dirt. He's usually a heavy sleeper, but this is a new low."

"…" Lucille just heard something interesting from Titania as she spoke. "Brother… do you mean Hardy?"

"Yeah. Amaria asked for some cotton candy from Agate Circus." Titania explained. "On the way back, I found him."

"Where you looking for him?" Amaria decided to ask,

"Yeah… it's a long story… and hard to believe." Lucille sighed, still troubled by the events she saw earlier that day.

"Well, he's right upstairs." Amaria saw the awkwardness and Lucille's reluctance to explain, started to get off the couch. "Here, I'll—"

Though Amaria didn't get a chance to get from the couch as Titania gently set her back on the couch. "You stay here. I'll take Lucille upstairs. You still need to rest."

"Ahaha…Okay~" Amaria laughed shyly agreeing with Titania, then looking to the confused Lucille. "I'm sure Percival's told you a bit. But it turns out when he and I were dealing with Team Meteor. Solaris ended up cracking a few of my ribs. But don't worry Tania takes good care of me~"

"…" With a still slightly worried look, Lucille turned to Titania.

"Come on." Titania's glance said all that it needs to, that it was more troublesome if Amaria was left out of sight. "Hardy's up this way."

"alright." Lucille nodded and followed Titania to another wing of the house.

Being led upstairs, it was assumed to be a study of sorts. There was desk, a few bookshelves, a glass door that led to an outdoor balcony, and a couch. On that couch as a boy with reddish-orange hair, dead asleep. "…."

"…" Lucille pondered on a thought to wake him. She tried just nudging Hardy.

"mmm…." Though hardy barely stirred.

"Move." Titania seeing if she didn't intervene that this would take all day, moved Lucille to the side. Then proceeded to use wake-up slap on her little brother.

"Oww…What's…" Hardy stirred, though it didn't seem to be very effective. "Mm…Tired…"

"…" Titania let out a frustrated sigh, then she kicked hardy multiple times.

"Ow, ow, okay, okay, I'm up already! Yikes!" Within a second of being hit by multiple kicks, Hardy shot up from the couch. Then after a moment he finally saw the two before him. "…Huh? Hey, sis. Should guessed it was you. And… Lucille, right?"

"Yes." Lucille nodded as Hardy remembered her name.

"I found you sleeping on the ground." Before any explanation could be, Titania simply gave that bit of information.

"You what?" Hardy looked at his sister very confused. Then looking around the room, he realized something. "Hey, where'd Aya go?"

"She's at Agate Circus." Lucille answered his question. "Something happened and people inside Agate City are randomly falling asleep…"

"She's at the circus?" That was all Hardy heard as Lucille explained.

"Aya?" Titania was more interested in the girls name her brother mention.

"Aha… Yeah, she's new Poison leader. I was taking her up to show her my Gym and…" Hardy lost thought as that was as much as he remembered. "I dunno what happened."

"You sure know how to treat a lady." Titania rolled her eyes as Hardy explained.

"Hey, shove off, it wasn't like that." Hardy complained to his sister, then looking at Lucille. "She's okay right?"

"She's as fine as a person can be. Especially after getting hit over a mountain by a giant hammer." Lucille nodded; she barely believed the words she just said.

"Uh… I think I should go find her…" Hardy didn't particularly understand, and tried to get up from the couch. Ashe did he felt pain across his body. "Ugh… My whole body's sore for whatever reason…"

"Based on how you slept, that's no surprise." Titania taunted her brother.

"Uh, you were also hit with a giant hammer." Lucille tried to clarify. But reality, most people wouldn't buy that.

Though before anyone could continue. Amaria's voice sounded from the floor below. "Tania, everyone, come quick!"

"…" Titania sighed as she heard Amaria called for them. "She better not has hurt herself."

As Hardy, Lucille and Titania moved to the living room. Amaria had the TV on. It was a news report, showing a green Gardevoir who could speak the human language on the TV, interviewing a purplish-blueish hair colored woman. That woman was also known as Saphira Belrose, the Dragon Type Gym Leader of Reborn. The newline read. [Breaking news with Gossip Gardevoir.]

"Hellllloooo Reborn!" Came in the over dramatic voice of Gossip Gardevoir. "I'm here in Calcenon City with Dragon Leader Saphira, where a sudden showdown has just taken form! As most know the evil organization Team Meteor has completely seized control of Labradorra City! Most citizens were safely evacuated, but some are still being held as hostages! However, a resistance is taking shape in Calcenon City on the part of some of Reborn's strongest Trainers! Saphira, what are your thoughts on this scenario?"

"…" Lucille froze as she heard Meteor was attacking Calcenon and has seized control of Labradorra. Lucille thought back to the task she had to do. Get her twin brother to see things from their side. She had told Saphira that she would convince Nero… but it has yet to happen. With Meteor attacking Labradorra, it was likely Nero was there.

"I'm not interested in negotiating with them." Saphira stated it as a fact. Her tone neutral, yet it somehow sounded confident. "We'll find a way around the barrier and take back those hostages."

"That's right, Team Meteor is employing a special technology… My sources tell me the machine they use is called a PULSE!" Gardevoir said with excitement. "And they've hooked a Mr. Mime up to it, creating a massive forcefield around Labradorra!"

"It isn't their only one." Saphira crossed her arms. "We know that they're preparing a second PULSE within the city, and they have two more in the surrounding areas."

After Saphira explanation, Gardevoir turned to the camera. "With these mysterious machines amping up their Pokémons' powers there's no telling what they'll do next! Can anything break the forcefield around Labradorra? What will happen to the resistance in Calcenon? Stay tuned to find out! XOXO~ Gossip Gardevoir"

As the News report ended, there was a silence in the room until Amaria finally mumbled. "The PULSE… It's just like with that Muk…"

"Maybe we should go up there and help the resistance." Hardy suggested. It would be better if Meteor was taken down, and not cause any more problems.

"Don't." Titania said simply.

"What?" Lucille looked at her in surprise.

"Whaddya mean "Don't"?" Hardy looked at his older sister incredulously. "We can't just let Team Meteor do whatever they want!"

"Don't get involved." Titania warned. "It's better if you don't."

"*Sigh*…" Lucille sighed very audibly the moment she heard that. "Don't get involved. I've been involved with dealing for a long time."

"You're just a kid. And what I heard from Amaria; you shouldn't even be involved." Titania scoffed. "You probably don't even know what—"

"Know what's at stake?" Lucille was getting fed up with this. Time and time again she hadn't been able to do anything against Team Meteor. Several times she's been captured, hurt, even defeated. She knew what Meteor has been capable of, she also knew if she doesn't involve, she'd lose someone she cares about. "I know what's at stake. If Meteor isn't taken down, people will get hurt. I have friends in Calcenon, whether you say that is should or shouldn't get involved it's too late. Team Meteor became my problem when I learned that I had a Twin brother, and that brother is working with Team Meteor."

"…" The room went silent as she said that.

"…Yeah, well, what she said sis." Hardy didn't particularly understand Lucille's situation. But what he understood was that she wanted to do the right thing. Who was he to disagree with her?

"Tania…" Amaria looked at her with puppy dog eyes.

"If you two want to go, I won't fore you." Titania sighed, not really caring that Lucille risk their lives. "I'm just giving you two warnings. And that I don't want Amaria to get involved.

"I'm not saying she has to, and I'm not forcing you to either." Lucille fired back.

"Though if they're going to Calcenon, you'll need to go through Ametrine Mountain…" Amaria remembered, "That means you'll need Surf. We actually have a Machine for it."

"There's no point in giving someone the machine if they don't have the Badge to use it yet." Titania fired back.

"Yeah, but Lucille said that Percival has recently fought the Dark-Type Leader. That means he has nine badges; he just needs one more to use Surf." Amaria replied. "We have one of Agate's Battle passes in the mail recently? If he has that he can get his tenth."

"Right…" Titania sighed, seeing as any input from her will now be useless. She started to search around for where they put it. "I have no clue why they'd send a battle pass to two gym Leaders though."

"They might be hurting for business, what with Agate City shutting down." Amaria continued.

"It doesn't matter…" Titania mumbled. Finding the pass. "Here, Agate Circus has an arbitrary system, so you can't face it's leaders without these battle passes. That one's for Samson. If you beat him, come back and we'll give you Surf."

"Thank you." Lucille smiled, thanking Titania for her kindness.

"Aite, See ya later sis." Hardy waved. "We gotta go fill in Aya and Percival about this situation."

{A/N: Huh… This one ended differently from the one I originally wrote. But this works too. I didn't like the original chapter 56 so I thought about editing it/ changing a bit about it. I may not have intended for Lucille to mention having a brother to Amaria Titania and Hardy originally, but this works too. I don't think I mind too much that chapter 56 got corrupted. But I really liked the way I had Chapter 57. I loved the way I had the Gym Battle going through… Well, hopefully I can make something good for it.
