Me: It's time for a new story. A story that's been plaguing my head for almost a year now with a crossover done before, but this time differently. So sit back and enjoy God of War: Remnant. I do not own anything in this story except OC's. God of War is property of Sony Santa Monica Studio and RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth.

Also to clarify after a lengthy review, I just want to point out that even though I do my research, it won't be 100 percent on the historical accuracy so don't take my word for it. Just what I read on wikipedia, studies I read online and documentaries I watch.

I repeat, I am not a historian; not everything is going to be true.

How long has it been? One year? Five years? A dozen? A hundred?

"I do not know."

Where is your home?

"I do not know."

Where are you?

"I do not know."

What do you know?

"...My name. My heritage. My blood. My curse. My regrets. My mistakes. My sins."

My eyes slowly opened. I look around my makeshift home I had built in a simple cave. My new home for... who cares how long. I have stopped caring. I simply count the days now when my nightmare will end. I tried to end my suffering, but my fathers cursed blood keeps me alive. Though I have freed Pandora's gift upon the world, I am still denied my peace.

The fire is dying. There is no food. I am hungry.

I stand up and stopped myself yet again from reaching those blasted things I keep wrapped in bear skin. I can't bare to look at them anymore without remembering the screams that continue to haunt me. I still feel their blood on my hands. I instead reach for my simple spear I made. Not as grand as a δόρυ (dory), but my training taught me to use anything as a weapon. I strode out of the cave and observed the land.

It was not Hellas. The leaves of the trees were blood red. The bark was as black as obsidian. The moon was broken into thousands of pieces. And it was filled with monsters.

"RRROOOOAAAARRRR!"

I don't even flinch. I am a warrior made and have killed many beasts, monsters and abominations with my bare hands.

After killing my father and the last of my enemies, I returned to the Island of Creation- the bodies of the Sisters still lay where I slew them, rotting away- and used the last of the magic to transport myself as far away from Hellas as possible. Without the gods, the people must now learn to care for themselves. I would only bring death.

Whatever this world is, I don't care.

I walked on. Soon a pack of lizards the size of wolves appeared, but flee at the sight of me. They remember what I did to their alpha. Good.

I stop. I took a deep breath...

And thrust my spear into a bush. Black blood stained my hands. I pulled and the corpse of another abomination landed in front of me. Fur as black as night and eyes glowing red. Its face is covered in a skull stronger then stone, but my spear pierced its eye and killed it instantly. It was a wolf, but at the same time it was not. It stood up on its hind legs like a man, but still a beast. I knew this was no ordinary creature as the body turned to ash before my eyes and flew away in the wind. Whoever made these creatures should have enough intelligence to stay away from me. Its creations have been attacking other people, but I do not care.

I can't care anymore. Everyone I cared about has died because of me. I must be alone. I can't lose anyone else.

But I hear them. My wife. My daughter. My mother. My brother. They want me to find peace with people, but I can't.

I continue forward. There should be boars or elk around here.

I am rewarded for my searching as I come to a clearing. I see a boar bigger then a bear being attacked by more of those mockeries of wolf and man. These things are idiotic. They have an extreme weakness against magic and this boar was different. Its pale fur was covered in frost and any creature standing near it would feel a chill so cold they would freeze if they didn't move.

Try as they might, the wolves couldn't stand against magic. Their creator focused on numbers over all else. Fool.

The boar made short work of them. Its massive tusks gored the alpha first and the rest were easily taken care of. When that was done, the boar squealed and stomped its hooves. A magnificent beast. This world is full of creatures I know of and those I have never seen before. My city would have prospered here. Our warriors would have been made stronger here. We would not have had to use slaves. We would be strong...

I will never see glorious Sparta again.

I am no Spartan now.

I am not even a ghost anymore.

Who am I?

I was brought from my thoughts as the boar turned and stared me down and scrapped its hoof on the ground. So it wants to fight? Good. A beast that does not fight for its life is not worth the kill. I brought my spear up and roared. The boar squealed back and charged. I ran straight forward and threw my spear. I struck the pig in the side, but it continued. I grabbed it by the tusks and forced it to a stop. It tried to thrash, but I kept my grip. I lifted with all my strength and threw it. The tree it hit was smashed apart, but it remained unharmed. Its muscles and bones were as strong as iron.

This was a world where the strong lived and the weak perish. Will I finally die?

It charged again and I stood my ground.

It was now 30 feet away. I snarl.

20 feet. I planted my feet on the ground and tighten my muscles.

"Come." I say. "Come! COME AT ME!"

Will my death finally come?

Not today.

The boar stiffened and skid to the ground and stopped right in front of me.

I sigh. Of course.

I watched the boar as it breathed heavily. I searched and found the culprit. A large axe was embedded in its side, deep enough to have cut something important.

"Who's there!" I shout. This was my food.

"Calm yourself." A woman's voice said from the trees. "You should be thanking me. You were just standing there. You wanted to be gored? The dire boars are messy eaters and your end would not have been quick."

I do not care. "This is my boar."

"That's almost four tons of meat! You can't eat it all!"

I scoff. "And you can?"

"No, but the villagers in the south could. They've been starving since the grimm struck their caravans."

Grimm. Those abominations have a name then. "I do not care." I bent down stare at the boar. It grunts and stares back at me. It wants its suffering to end.

"We can work something out." the voice was behind me. I readied myself. "Oh, calm down you naeve ripper. I don't attack people from behind." A warrior then? I froze when I saw the axe fly from the wound and into her hands most likely. "Move. I can't let it suffer anymore or it won't come back."

I blink. "Won't come back?" I stood up and backed away.

"Treat a beast right at death and it will reincarnate as a babe. Continuing the circle to provide for both itself and for others." She moved past me. She was covered in armor made of leather and scales while her face was hidden behind red hair of a shade I did not know existed. She placed the axe on her back, layed a hand on its head, took out a knife and said, "I am sorry you suffered, even if it was only for a little while. I end you now so that you may run free and return to life for the circle. Your meat will provide sustenance for the weak to make them strong and your hide will warm their bodies so that they will live. I hope to see you again you grand boar." Then she thrust the knife into the boars neck and it died instantly.

The respect she showed for this beast was much more then I had seen from that man-hating cunt Artemis. Despite what the her followers thought, she enjoyed letting the animals suffer. She was a butcher. For her, only the hunt mattered. She hunted me after I destroyed Olympus. Of course, I killed her. She will not be missed.

The woman sighed. "Listen. This boar has enough meat. Take how much you can carry and leave the rest for me. Please. The village has children, babes, that will die without this food. Either you can except that, payment or I will fight you for it. Your choice."

She had a heart more fiery than a volcano. Rare it was in Hellas for non-spartan women. I did not want to fight her for a pig.

"Alright." I said. Her shoulders sagged in relief. "We will take the boar to the village and I will take the meat that I can."

"Thank you." When she turned, I froze.

Never had I seen a woman as beautiful since Lysandra. Not even Aphrodite came close to my wifes perfection, but this woman... Her face had scars that signified her warrior life, one of which traveled across the bridge of her nose. Her braided red hair reached the middle of her back. Her body was thick and strong much like a spartans, but it was her eyes that captivated me. They were a color I have never seen in a humans.

Silver.

She smirked. "How long have you been here, stranger?"

I regained my senses. "Long time."

"Not one for words, are you?" She laughed. It was like music. "Come on. Help me with this. There's someone you have to meet."

I frown. "I won't stay long."

She simply grunts. "Yeah. You're a loner alright. I was the same as you when I lost my family."

"... I have no one as well."

She nods. The light in her eyes dimmed. "I figured. But unlike you, I know what to do with my life. I help people. It gives me purpose." She placed a hand on my shoulder. For once, I don't shrug it off. "Come with me and maybe I can help you find your purpose."

"I have no purpose anymore. I am a ghost."

"No you're not. You're a man who needs help. Now help me with this pig."

She commanded me. I followed. What is this feeling?

I shove it down and picked up the animal easily over my shoulders.

"Impressive." She commented. "My names Faye. Faye Rose. What's yours?"

Should I tell her? She doesn't know my legends, but can I take the risk.

I look into her silver eyes again. I see only kindness in them. I decided to chance it.

My name...

"Kratos."

Me: I think I captured his personality as best I could. The first few chapters will be one shots about Kratos' early life. Meeting Faye and having a family and the years ahead. Just to tell you all, it won't be Atreus. Not that there's anything wrong, I love the relationship between Kratos and his son, but I wanted to do this my way. And it won't be Ruby as their daughter. I'm sure you can guess who it is.
