Luz is having flash dreams about yesterday's events about her entering the boiling islals, meeting Eda, meeting the Owl house and King, she and her friends summoning titans. She then wakes up to see her surroundings which makes her happy. "IT WASN'T A DREAM!" She gets up and walks to the window and opens it. "Good morning terrifying fantasy world!"
"Good morning!" a monster with many eyes said as it sank back into the water.
"Eeh," she turns her attention to the sleeping 'demon' and picks him up. "Good morning you little cutie pie!" then Luz gives King pepper kisses on his face.
"I AM NOT YOUR CUTIE PIE!" King said as the female human hugged him.
"Yes you are!" Luz puts King down and walks out getting ready to dress.
King then flops back down on the sleeping bag. "I know."
"... *yawned like a lion* ugh Luz?" Beat woke up with sand still on his eyes. "It's like 5 in the morning."
"Shut the alarm." Chris snuggles deeper into his sleeping bag. "Sleeping!"
"Luz is our alarm Shortstack, so we can't stop her."
"Ugh…" Chris growled and tried to go back to sleep.
"COME ON GUYS! The first day of Witching is here!"
"LUZ! SLEEPING NOW!" they shouted at her while going back to sleep, well what's left of it. They hoped that they could sleep in… but they heard Luz screamed in joy waking them up. "Ugh!"
"Chris, I loved Luz like a sister and I'll continue to love her like that," the large teen said, rubbing his eyes. "But sometimes she can be too loud to stand."
The turtle-like sleeping bag raised, unzipped to reveal the short teen. "Mhmm… better follow her..."

Chris was busy in the kitchen, making breakfast for everyone with… whatever… ingredients that looked edible. "King… this is rice, right?"
"What's rice?"
"... Close enough…" the short teen said and begins fighting a live dismembered arm… in arm wrestling. "Work with me here!"
Beat however was too busy laughing at the sight. "Ah… totally worth it!" Then he saw Eda in her groggy state and wearing a sweater, skirt and bunny slippers walking in with Luz wearing a black robe and a black witches hat. "...what?"...
"...Is she wearing?" Chris finished after getting the arm into a headlock… if that is the right saying? "Oh boy."
"Easy, I haven't even gotten my cup of Apple Blood." Eda groggily said while digging into the fridge of… odd Boiling Isle local food.
"You mean, apple juice?" said the abnormal teen.
"No." the Owl Lady answered and sipped her mug. "First off, you're wearing a bathrobe and the world's dirtiest traffic cone." That made Beat and King chucked as Luz took off the 'hat' and blew it off to show a bent traffic cone.
"Here you go guys," Chris handed five bowls of rice, the large tray showing scrambled eggs, cooked fish and a side of chopped vegetables.
"... Uh… what is… this?" Eda points out, looking jealous at King who only had a bowl of rice mixed with eggs with eyeballs.
"Just eat it Eda, you'll like it." the Short chief said as he started eating his portion.
Luz happily takes her meal and starts eating. "Chris lives with his uncle since his parents worked overseas in Japan." she said and started eating the fish. "Where his entire family works an international family restaurant chain."
"I sometimes help out when I need the extra cash," Beat stated as he uses the chopsticks to eat the fish. "How did you cook like this?"
"You don't want to know." Chris said as he ate. "The less I know, and you know, the better."
Eda uses a fork, since she never seen chopsticks actually used because it is more found in her trash inventory. Tried some and started to perk up. "Well now, this is not bad." She then starts eating more of Chris's food. "Oh, and here you go kids," Eda said as she made a little circle as a rectangular device appeared on the table. Still tired and grouchy as she sipped her Apple Blood. "I've spent all night looking for this piece of junk, I knew this would haunt me if I didn't sell it."
"..." Beat looks at the strange rectangular item with a raised brow. "... What is it?"
"Hm?" the owner of the Owl House blinks. "... Oh Right… This here is called a Holotome. It tells you what kind of Titan you have currently and others you might find here in the Isles." she explained drinking her Apple Blood. As Chris opens it like a laptop… It soon sparked and created a small explosion. "Oh yeah… it's ancient so it's probably broken."
"Gee thanks for the warning." the short teen took a closer look. "Scroll magic with some tech… geez the wonders of tech?"
"Think you can fix it up?" Luz asked in curiosity after taking off the bathrobe which was supposed to be a witch robe.
"Guys, magic, and tech do not mix, it's not exact scie-..." Chris stopped, checking it again with gears cranking his mind. "I'll just need a lot of computer hardware… assuming Eda has a lot in her Junkpile somewhere?"
"You know I do short stuff." Eda Teased Chris as she drank her mug.
"Stop calling me a short, lady!"
"Never!" the Owl lady said in a sassy voice.
"Great, another Beat."
"And you need some magic to balance that thing out kid." Eda said as she drank her mug again. "And Luz said that she and you guys want your own staves?"
"Eh, it'll make Shortstacks life easier." Beat jokes as he and Eda laughed at that joke.
Chris then grumbled and turned to the two. "I'll kill you both one day."
"Really? Then grow 5 ft to get my head." Eda jokes, making the tall teen laugh hard. "Anyway, If you guys want to learn magic," She said and tossed a bag of junk to them. "You're going to have to work for it."
Beat picked up the sack of junk or hoisted it over his shoulder. "Working hard is one of my specialties, plus prop work, building things, music, and recently summoning Titans." he pulled out his amulet. "FREELANCER!"

"..."
"...What?" the tall teen tries to summon his titan… nothing… not even a shimmer or spark. "You were here in the prison break earlier?" he said and started shaking it. "Why isn't it working?"
"Heck if I know," Eda shrugged at the teen. "No one has ever been able to summon Titans for thousands of years? The answers should be in that piece of crud over there."
"... Guess I need some practice." the tall teen said, dropping his head. "But can we categorize the Amulets we have yesterday?"
"After we fix it, meathead," Chris said to his large friend. "The sooner we finish this, the sooner we can get this magical whatchamacallit working."
"Alright, follow me, kids," Eda said, leading the three humans up to a tower and outside. "I want you to go to town over there," she said pointing her staff to a nearby town. "Bonesborugh."
"Basically we're your little errand gremlins?" Chris did not look convinced by Eda's schemes.
"Eyup," she magics them out the door along with the bag of snake oil. "Now remember, never befriend a man in sandals, and always measure twice, cut once."
"... Wait, wha-?" Before Beat would answer, the Owl Lady retreated inside her house.
"Good luck!" she slammed the door on them.
"... So… do we know how to street business…" Luz and Beat turned to Chris curiosity.
"Not me guys, I don't do that stuff."
"..."
"..."
"... Fine…" he grabbed the bag of Snake Oil. "For Luz's sake."
Then King was scooted out of the door. "I have to come along with you guys."
"Perfect."

"STEP RIGHT UP FOLKS IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY!" Chris cheerfully shouted as he twirled his walking stick. "Got scales that are dry as a bone? Or you need to take care of your pet snakes every need? Then look no further because we have the solution!" He then showed a bottle of snake oil in hand. "Behold your answer! Snake oil, it's easy to take care of your skin and your pet, just pull the cap off, glop a handful of it and rub it on! Don't just stand there, buy one for yourself and I guarantee that you'll love what the results will be!" As he finishes, lots of customers are pulling out bucks and offers to the short teen.
"Wow… he's really good at this?" Beat looked impressed as he scratched the back of his head.
"He's amazing," King said, turning to the two humans. "Why can't you two do that?"
Beat and Luz looked at each other and back to King. "Well, I'm more flamboyant then Luz and she's more imaginative and clumsy.'' The tall teen answered King's question. "Chris on the other hand is at the middle of our trio, and less clumsy." he stated. Speaking of which, the short teen returned from the sales pitch.
"Alright, what's next?"
Luz looked at the list. "Ok, next is we have to deliver these items to some of the locations?"
"Okay." King nodded his head understanding… but another idea had popped into his devious mind. "So do you have other Titans for me?"
"Hmm," Beat starts to think of King having a titan and being a seeker like him, Chris and Luz. "Would you be responsible for your titan?"
"... Maybe." King said as he leaned to the side cutely.
"..."
"..."
The Short Teen was not convinced and shook his head. "No."
Quickly the adorable creature scampered to climb on his head. "Oh come on Chris! I want to try!" King complained like a child.
"Not yet you're not." Beat said, crossing his arms. "You need to be responsible for summoning a Titan King." that only made the king of cuteness whine a little.
"But I wanna!" King whined again.

As they do the deliveries, Beat and Chris are keeping an eye on Luz and try not to get her into trouble.
The little demon, tall and midsize teen sweat drops to see their short friend wrestling some Gnomes because of similar size. "PREPARE FOR A BLISTERING FAKER GNOME!"
Little did Chris know, Beat and Luz were recording the entire fight. They flinched as the battle was getting too rough… for the Gnomes that is...

Beat tried to ring the doorbell, only for the answering item to be a giant mouth to bite his arm. The tall teen grunted and punched it to make it squeal in retreat. "Ugh, and I thought skin eating pixies are bad enough?…"

Luz tried to knock on a door to deliver a package, only for the door to swing open to be chomped inside of a gator's mouth. This lead for her friends to come to the rescue.

"I have seen so many dangers that I thought only exists in cartoons…" Chris groans as he pops his shoulder back into its socket.
"And I thought my family reunion was rough?" Beat said, rolling his shoulder. "Phew, boy I was wrong."
They take a break as King is eating a not dog and turn to the three. "Well I know I have enough delight for one day, now can I have my own titan?" he said, showing his puppy dog eyes.
Luz and Beat were adored by the charm… but the shorter teen poked the cute bone creature in his nose. "No King." Chris denied only for the cute demon to squeamish, making him more cute.
Luz then sighed a little then dug into the bag for her book. "I thought being the only humans in a magical world would make either of us special but, apparently it'll just make everyone want to scream at me, Beat or Chris or.." she lifted her elbow only for a 'butterfly' chewing on it. "Eat me." she then whacks it off of her.
"Sorry that reality came in like this Luz." Chris sighs and pats her on the shoulder. "But, at least you got something more important than all that set prophecy."
"And what's that Chris?"
"Us!" Beat reached and hugged his friends with one arm. "The treasure of friendship, and the power of insanity." that made her laugh a little feeling a little better about all this.
"Thanks guys," she opens her book to show a picture of Azura and a wizard. "But I want to share a magical quest with you guys, and I know we have Titans at our side but we have no idea how to use our titan magic."
"We'll figure this out," Beat said as he stood, hefting up the bag over his shoulder. "Come on, we have one more stop to do then we'll experiment with our abilities back home."
"Ok…" Luz stood as she carried King in her arms with Chris following them. "Maybe this world isn't what i tho-" she then gasped on what's behind the drapes. The four person group are seeing a shining castle with golden light shining down. "Pretty…"
"Uh… King…" Chirs looked at the tall well decorated castle. "Was there something like this here in the Boiling Isles?"
"Nope." King confirmed also confused on how a fancy castle is here in the boiling isles.
"How in the Boiling Isles is that doing here?" Beat questioned hoping for an answer.
The small king of demons looked at Luz, who seemed to be walking forward. "Luz, let's just kick the package and head out," he said, looking around the well decorative exterior. "Places like these belong to coocky wackjobs and snotty rich bags…" the boys heard the doorbell rang, turning to the dreamer girl who rang the doorbell. Soon the large double doors opened for them to enter.
"Oh boy." the out sized teens said in unison.
"Luz, wait!" King waddles ford with the boys following them, but the way in and out is slammed shut. This caused the small creature to hop to Beat's arm in fright. "Weh?!"
Beat, Chris and King are looking around in the darken area. "I don't like this one bit." Beat said petting King's head.
"Hello?" Luz said looking around the darkness. "I'm delivering a package from miss Eda the owl lady?" then the rum start to alight as it shows to ba a large room full of books, and on the top floor is a portrait of a wizard with tan skin, long gray beard and a wizards hat with Pjs, then walking up is said wizard which made the human girl very happy. "Magical Wizard?" Luz held her cheeks as she giddily danced.
"Luz, that could be an old man in pajamas?" Chris said logically.
"I was in my solarium, reading the stars, and who might you three be with eyes of curiosity?" the magical wizard said to the three humans.
"Uh… I-I'm-" she was interrupted as the wizard stepped forward to the three.
"Young lady and gents, dearith I say, I sense something, unique about you three," the wizard said to the three weirdos then he walked backwards while drawing some circles making a fancy chair with a crown and jewels and a recliner and a table of treats. "Please, won't you three join me for some tea?"
"Uh…."
"We love to!" Luz said with glee, but her two best friends pulled her to get her attention.
"I… think I'll just stand…" Chris said, crossing his arms.
"Come on Chris, you look tired from the walking and sales pitching." his female friend said pushing him on the back.
"Luz, I'm serious," Chris tries to state the obvious. "A wizard of your dreams and a quest, I highly doubt he's even legit."
"And he's wearing sandals." Beat whispers to them and points out the wizard's footwear. "Eda said not to trust any of them?"
"But, He has some scones~." Luz successfully persuaded King into eating the banquet of pastries.
"... Try to bribe me with food L?" Beat said as he made a little smirk. "You little sneak."
"I know you too much to know your weaknesses." Luz said with a smile.
"Beat, I could cook you a buffet better than this old geezer." Chris gestures to the host.
"I know, and Luz can make people do stuff with her crafty mind." However, his interest was pointed elsewhere with curiosity, looking to see a table full of alchemic vials and strange liquids. "Wait… do you… sell potions by any chance?"
"Call me Adegast, Large one." the now named Adegast said to Beat. "Why… yes… I run a small business here and there." noticing the small teen walking next to Luz as King devouse the plate of scones. He picked up a pastry to take a sniff… however… unconvinced and hands it to the little demon. "Is something the matter, small one?"
"... Apologies… wise one…" Chris said to the host of the castle. "I'm just… paranoid with new surroundings is all."
"Chris just rolled for bluff?" Beat pondered as he played along. "I get it, even I'm getting a bad feeling about this?"
"It's a quite alright small one." Adegast smiles as he strokes his beard, "However, I'm more curious to why you're here?" he gestures all four of his guests. "Normally Eda would be delivering the potions herself?"
"We're kind of, sorta her apprentice." Luz chimed with a smile on her face.
"Oh, and how are you three finding the experience so far?" said the wizard.
Luz may have looked happy… but sadden as she deflates. "Can I be honest Mr. Adegast? When I decided to stay in this magical world, I thought we're meant for something special, but Eda thinks we're meant for chores, and I'm afraid we came to the wrong place."
This raises more curiosity as he watches the fantasy girl look down at her tea. Raising his brow and stroking his beard. "Well, I have a quest-."
"A QUEST?!"
This causes the old man to chuckle to be entertained. "You didn't let me finish," he said and calmed down. "I have a question."
"oh…"
"Would you like to go on a quest?!" he said with jazz hands.
"YES!" Luz squealed in extreme optimism.
Then Adegast digs into his beard and pulls out a scroll with a red seal on it. "Then I might have just the thing."
"Uh oh, Luz is in Fantasy Lockdown again." Beat said worried about her abnormal friend.
"Oh great," Chris slapped his face. "I just know this isn't going to be good?"
The wizard then unfurls the scroll to show a map. "The prophecy foretold speaks A human who will claim the celestial staff, and free this world from the antion evil." Adegast said as Luz placed her hand on the scroll. "And only, the Chosen One," he said with eyes looking to Luz with a smile. "Can pull the staff from it's post."
"... Chosen… One…" the fantasy girl began to drool in anticipation, but felt her hand grabbed by the short teen.
"Oh look at the time, we better get going." Chris grabbed Luz's hand and began dragging her out. "I got dinner to prepare."
"Been nice seeing you." Beat sanged a little while moonwalking out of the building.
"Wait, guys," Luz tries to pull free, her feed dragging by the force of the small teen. "Wow you're really strong- But he said we're the chosen ones!?" As the four finally exit out of the castle and out of his hearing distance, the three boys begin to talk to Luz.
" Luz, come on" the short teen said, making her stand up. "We only arrived here just yesterday and we don't see any statues of heroes around the isles."
"Or pictures of said heroes." Beat chimed in.
"Or books." King also chimed in.
"But he just said it in front of us guys." she said trying to convince her best friends to join her.
The tiny demon ponders and cutely taps his chine. "Better talk to Eda about this?"

Luz just starts to pack for her 'chosen one' quest but Beat and Chris are not because the large teen is laying down and the short teen is fixing the Holotome. "So guys, what kind of chosen one should I be?" She then picks up her book. "Should I be full of optimism and goodness like the good witch Azura?" Then she moves the both to the side making her look serious. "Or should I be like a bad girl chosen one with black nail polish and a mysteriously drawn personality?" Then she started to make the book talk. "I like that I don't care, but I secretly do."
"Neither," the boys answered together without hesitation.
"Oh come on guys, I'm being serious about this."
"And we are too L." Beat said, looking at her fantasy drivin friend. "No offence but this chosen one feels very off to me."
"He's right," Chris said, screwing on a loose screw. "We only came here just yesterday, all we did was cause a prison riot and sell potions and whatnot."
"Yeah, and I still demand to have a titan!" the king of demons said to the three current seekers.
"No!" the two male humans said at King.
"Alright kid, I got you some… gadget thingies…" Eda said as she dropped an old technological computer.
"... Close enough…" Chris said as he picked up the machine and started to disassemble it.
As the Owl Lady rolled her eyes, she saw Luz, along with some bread. "Woah, hold up kid," she said with her hands on her hips. "What's all this about?"
"Just some guy telling us we're the chosen ones," Beat said, still laying on the floor. "And I still say it's bogus."
"Wait," Eda said, snickering a little. "Are you serious?" he nodded then she started to laugh at that making Luz embarrassed and hid her face with her book. "Ah, let me see that map." she said as Luz handed her the item. It took a few seconds to scan it from top to bottom, for the humans to watch her scoff. "You didn't think this map is real?"
After taking apart a broken down laptop, the short teen sighs and turns to Luz. "That's what I suspected." Chris said.
"What?" Luz stood up to her mentor with her hopes starting to dim.
"This map is bunk," Eda exclaimed to the map. "There's no lake with a Celestial Staff in the Boiling Isles…" she rolled her eyes and gestured to the world. "I would've stolen it ages ago."
"Yeah L, I mean the guy looked too flashy, and I know flashy." Beat said, crossing his arms. "Plus how can a house that fancy be in a place like the Isles inside the town like that?"
"But guys, we did insane stuff yesterday," Luz said to her best friends.
"And we became Seekers that day." Beat said to her. "I'm still trying to figure out how to summon Freelancer?"
Eda saw Luz with a sadden look, she tried to bring an assuring smile and handed her the map. "Ah don't worry," she said and pats her head. "In a few months you won't look like a nark."
The fantasy girl stared at her map, gently pushing aside her mentor's hand. "G-Guys… can I… get some alone time…"
"Sure, L, and sorry for telling you this." Beat gets up and walked out of the room
Chris gathered the things he needed and followed them… stopping to turn to his friend once more. "Luz, let's just… trust Eda on this." he said with a smile. "I'm sure we'll have our adventure in time." he said and left.
As she is alone in the room, Luz's hand grazed across the scroll. All her hopes of having a magical adventure had been diminished and slid to a wall close to the window. "Maybe they were right…" as she looked at her map once more… she saw what appeared to be glowing words which were shown in the light of the window. "Huh?"
The chosen one. The path will only appear to the worthy.
That made her gasp. "That's why Eda or the guys can't see it, but, am i really worthy?" Then the wind blew for the map to bow out of her hand and lended next to her book as it started turning pages. It showed a picture of Azura on the hill with people around her. That made her smile. "I won't know until I try!

"Screwdriver," Chris asked for the tool with Beat grabbing the item from the toolbox provided by the junk treasure of the Owl Lady. "Soldering Iron." he checked with a magnifying glass to take a closer look. "Huh, this isn't so bad at all?"
"Really?" the tall teen perked up.
"No," the short teen flatly said. "Though I'm surprised how old this thing is, it's similar to my aunt's electronic store to fix up old tech computers."
"Kids," Eda walked to them with hands on her hips. "You said that the Wizard was one of my clients?"
"Yeah," Beat said, passing the soldering iron to Chris. "But my hunch is going crazy with suspiciousness over that guy."
"Less talky, more Titan give me!"
"No!" The Seekers said, making King pout cutely.
"..." she then looked up at the ceiling where Luz and the humans are living in… "Beat, Chris," Normally Eda loves to tease and be humorous, however, now is not the time. "Go on ahead and check on Luz," she said and snapped her finger to summon her staff and walked outside. "I'm going to pay that Wizard a visit."
"Okay, and kick him in the nards for me." Beat said as he followed Chris up stairs.
"Luz," Chris knocks on the door to their room. "We need to talk…" but as he knocked again, the door was open. The teens rushed in, seeing an opened window and no one else.
"... Luz you knuckleheaded insane witchling." Beat said, rubbing his head. "She left to go on that 'chosen one' quest!"
The short and tall teen went to the window and looked around. "Hooty!" Chris called out the guardian of the house.
"HOOT! Got something to say hoot?" the annoying voiced defence system said to them.
"Hooty, we need your help." Beat asked. "Do you know where Luz went off too?!""
"Yeah… but at a price…" Annoyingly the owl guardian wiggles left around.
"WE DON'T HAVE TIME HOOTY!" The large teen shouted angry. "IF YOU DON'T TELL US I'LL SMASH THIS HOUSE TO RUBBLE!"
"Ok, ok! No smashing please!" the wiggly form of the house said. "She went to the forest in Bonesborough" he said and slithers out. "Sheesh."
Chris tries to ponder for a solution. "With no map to follow her we won't get to her in time."
"Then we'll do this the old fashion way," the taller teen nodded. "Search for her in the trees of the unknown."

Upon the forests of Bonesborough city limits, Luz stood next to the sign. Taking a deep breath to smell the fresh… is it fresh? Mountain air. "Ah… my first mythical quest." She slid down the slope and walked through the forest, unaware of the light purple mist had enveloped the landscape.
"Got my scroll, got my youthful optimism," she said with pure determination and pulled out the toy sword. "Got my trusty weapon." she activated for one of the different speech quotes...only for it to run out of batteries. As Luz made her way through the forest of Bonesborough, a smile of pure optimism and determination had shrouded her sight of caution. "I don't know, maybe Beat and Chris were right, I don't know if I made the right decision?" Then she saw a fantastic village full of tiny humanoid cats. "...Whoa…"
Burst out of the water fountain is a handsomely stunning man with an eyepatch over his right eye. "So…You must be the chosen one?" he said and hopped off from the water fountain. "The Celestial Staff should've picked me, Nevareth Bladestrife," he pronounces himself hastily with his fist to his chest. "Teen Prince of Angstmore."
"..." Luz only smiled brightly. "I made the right decision, if only Beat and Chris can share this with me."
Unknowingly to anyone, a green light shimmered from her pocket, it zapped and crawled out of the city… appeared a moth creature and flew.

"LUZ!" Beat cries out with his hands to his mouth to amplify his voice. "LUZ WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"LUZ!?" Chris shouted as well. "LUZ!" he shouted again as he stood on a boulder… no avail. "Dang, no luck," he said as he stepped down. "We're getting nowhere."
"We can't give up this easily, Luz is now in her fantasy lock down mode and went somewhere dangerous!"
"I didn't say give up," the short teen exclaimed. "We just need to calm down and figure out how deep we have to and find her…"
"Wait," Beat paused Chris only for him to hear something. "... did you hear large wings flapping?" the large teen questioned as they indeed heard large wings flapping and saw a moth-like creature with four tentacles for arms and legs flying to them. The teens were about to be ready… only to see it just float to them. "... is this a monster… wait?" he felt a familiar aura, something coming off. He looks down to his amulet of Freelancer to see it glowing as well. "It's a Titan?"
"Wait, let me check something?" Chris tries to Holotome, opening it to see a holographic picture "... Hope this works…" then they see a holographic image of the titan they are seeing.
Kipperin, Gaia Scout Titan. Attack: 1, Defense:2. Size: Small. Special Ability: Flight. Seeker: Luz Noceda. Not a fighter but gives its seeker or other Titan of Average Size and below with the ability of flight.
After it spoke, the Holotome began to shut down of loss of power or of old age. Having the two boys look at one another. "Wait, if Kipperin flew all the way here?" Beat asked his short friend.
"Then Luz is in trouble." Chris said. "We have to save her!"
"Right!" The large teen then turned to Kipperin. "Lead is to where Luz was!" it nodded and led ahead with the two teens catching up to it.

Eda found the castle King had described, looking impatient with her fist on her hip. "Are you sure this is the right place?" she said as she looked up to the ruined castle.
"Whoa..." King blinks once… then twice… "It wasn't like this before." he stated before a tower had crumbled.
"... I don't like this… " The Owl Lady proceeded into the ruined fortress, cautiously checking her surroundings to see the same library the humans were talking to the Wizard… it was old… very old… as if no one would even think about giving it a fixer upper. Eda continued to walk in… until she stopped to see rolled up paper. She knew she had seen it before, picking them up for a closer look. They were the same maps that Luz had received… only… the supposed one of a kind is not what it seems. "I really don't like this…"

As Beat and Chris found the town where Luz found the fancy house, and it's not there, only a rusted and abandoned town. "What the? Was this a village or did someone burn it?"
The short teen kneels down to trace a shoe print. "She's been here alright… but…" he looks around the abandoned tone. "No one's been here… ever…"
"...No, she's been had!" Beat shouted as he smashed some wood. "We have to save her!" he then turns to the flying moth Titan. "Kipperin, where is she?" the Titan shook her head, as if this was the area she had last seen of her before warning everyone.
"Before we do more smashing, let's use brian." the shorter teen pulls out an Amulet. "Alright, you've been calling me out, come out." He raises the item in the air. "BULREGARD!"
The coming out of the amulet is an… armored bulldog?
"... Shortstuff… I know you're smart and all… but..." but Beat looked deflated as he gestures to the small Titan. "What's a dog gonna do?"
"Heck if I know, Bul just wants out…" Chris then kneels and scratches him. "Don't you huh? You do~?"
"Arf!" The dog titan barked happily.
Beat taps his foot and looks at his watch, making his point as they are in a hurry. "... Right…" Chris stood and looked at his Titan. "Bul, show us what you're made of."
"Arf!" Bulrigard sniffs the ground, smelling the ground shoe print… it lifts his head and points his snout. "Arf!"
Understanding the Titan, Chris smiled and ran after the Bulldog creature. "Bulregard said Luz went that way."
"Tracking… should have seen that coming." the taller teen sighs in disbelief and follows his friend.

"Nevareth," Luz spoke in awe as she walked with her traveling quest friend. "Your vengeful backstory is so compelling." she awed and cooed at the little flying creature circling around them. "And I'm lovin' your animal sidekick."
The calm cool and swashbuckler sighs and looks away. "After my village was consumed, my heart has known nothing but vengeance."
"... Neverath…" Luz tries to reach to comfort him… only to see him turn to her.
"Lady Luz," he said with his only eye tinkling. "Do you think love can bloom on the battlefield?"
The fantasy loving girl giggled and looked away with building awe. "This quest is questing in all the right ways."
As they walk toward the bridge an old cat jumps in front of them. "Ew." Neverath said.
"Hamdey diggle to pass the bridge. You must first solve my riddle!" the old cat said after doing a dorky dance.
"Hit my little furry man!" Luz points at him to give the cat the go.
"Your quest shall stop if you fail this game, so tell me my dear what is my name?" said the dirty cat creature as he finished doing his silly dance.
"..." Luz found a name tag… looking closer to see what she is looking for. "You're… name is Chris?"

"Gazuntite." said the tall teen to his short friend.

"Hurray! You can cross the bridge! And take this with you!" the cat spoke out to hand Luz a ring. "It will help you on your journey."
"Wow," Luz said, taking the ring. "This is amazing, thank you."
"Do you need a cape?" Neverath said to the 'chosen one'.
"Oh no tha-"
"Then use my shirt!" he said ripping his shirt off to show his abs.
"... yes!" the human girl changed her mind 180. "I need a cape!"

"You've got to be kidding me." Eda said as she looked around the ghost town of what Luz imagined was more lively with citizens. "Did the boys come by here?" she checked on King.
Sniffing the ground for any scent, the King of Demons was on fours and looked up to the Owl Lady. "Yeah, I got Luz's scent too, like Lemons and Young, Naive Confidence." he said and stood up. "I also smell what appears to be a Moth and a Dog monster going in the same direction?"
"Hm, must be the kids' Titans?" the hustler saw the fountain littered in vines to see a cat citizen… only… it looked to be like a ruined toy. She walked to it and started poking it. "Hey! Wake up, you." she said and started to wring it. "What have you done with Luz? What's your endgame?"
As the shaking stops, the fake citizen creekidly looks up to Eda. "To find your pupils and still your wrath," instead of a clear and realistic voice, it was distorted and ominous. "Look ahead and follow the path." While cackling, it turned into dust and vanished from the Owl Lady's hand.
King began to feel terrified at the sight. "The cat man melted!"
"Oh no," Eda realizes what is happening. "Luz is the bait, and the boys are falling into a trap."
King soon realizes as well. "Oh no, even if they're Seekers, they'll still be captured! What should we do?!" this had Eda thinking.

Beat is speeding with his short teen on his shoulder following the dog titan. "Bul said that she's close!"
"Mush on doggo!" Beat said… but the Dog halted, growling loudly protectively. "What is it, Bulriguard?"
"Bul smelled something big… and awful." Chris translates for him and looks ahead. "The smell is all over the place… like… in and out with a mix of wood and sawdust?"
"Freshly cut trees?" Beat guessed what they're saying.
"Something like that, yeah." Chris kneels to Bulregard and pets him. "Ok, Beat, show me what Amulets we got?"
The large teen digs into his sack and pulls out a handful. "I have Freelancer, but I don't know what the rest are?"
Chris grabbed his own collection. "You trust me?"
"Always have fellow Caballero."
The short teen nods, having to show the Amulets to his dog Titan. "Ok Bul, tell us which Amulets we need?"
"Trusting Animal instinct?" the taller teen follows up the plan. "Nice."
Beauregard sniffs the amulets, pulling away and nods. "Ok, I'm going on ahead," Chirs said and pockets the unchosen Amulets, taking Caliban's and his new Amulet. "Then, follow me about twenty feet and stay hidden with Bulregard and Kipperin."
"Got it." the large seeker nodded as they followed the titan bulldog and moth.

"Thank you for inviting me to your picnic fairy princess." Luz smiled at her traveling party, growing larger with the short hairy cat walking with them and a small fairy of royalty floating alongside. "All your food was so tiny and cute."
Then the fairy princess makes a small circle for a pair of bracelets to appear. "For you, Chosen One."
"Thank you." she said, placing the bracelets on her left wrist. "You all are so kind and thoughtful. I hope this quest never ends!
The cat of the bridge dances with glee. "Your quest will soon come to an end, for the staff you seek is around the bend."
"... Thanks for ruining the mood Chris Cat." she said flatly and not to mix her best friend with the cat. "Really, you're just a bummer like my friend Chris."

Neverath then raises his hand forward. "Go on chosen one, the Celestial Staff is yours, you've earned it."
That made her confident and walk forward as her party waved goodbye, she then went deeper into the forest only to see the staff is in the middle of the pond. Then the lake shook, and a stone bridge rose from the deep. "I knew this world wasn't all gloom and doom like Eda and King said," she danced on the stone bridge way. "There is wonder here in this world, i think i came here for a re-" then he remembered her best friends also came here with her. "Oh if Chris and Beat would come with me, but I can show them this staff so they can realize I was right." She then walked closer to the staff and grabbed it. Then white energy bursts from the staff and the gem starts to glow, Luz pulls the staff out in triumph. "Yes! I am the chosen one! I knew it! I always suspected that there's a reason nobody besides my best friends understands my crazy antics back home, now I have concrete proof! Ha ha!"
The staff in her hands had dimmed the lights of its crystal, turning to dust and away from existence. The flowers wilted and the lake had drained to show the deep hole it was. Luz's life saw the world around her dying to be grey and darkness. "What?" Luz debeliefuly said seeing the fantasy world she always dreamed about is turning blackening and turn to ashes.

"So, what's the plan here!" King held onto the flying staff as Eda rode with determination and desperation.
"I know this guy, he's what you call puppeteer, a demon who manipulates people for his own schemes." Eda explains to the King of Demons. "I've run a potion shop to get people away from him." she then looks forward. "Now he's using the Kids as bait to get to me."
"And we're going to be in their trap, hurray."
"Well if you have a better idea, I'll be glad to hear it." The Owl Lady growls as they fly around a large tree. "The boys may be able to handle it, but with Luz it's a tough one." she then slaps her staff. "Step on it!" and they flew faster to try and reach their destination.

Luz is seeing her fantastic world she always dreamed of being wilted around her as the same purple fog she saw earlier start to develop. Having to pull the toy sword as she whimpers in fear.
"Luz…" called out from the fog behind her to see Adegast. "The human."
"Magical wizard?" the human said in surprise.
"You're hubris has failed you," the wizard man's form had turned into a puppet with loose eyeballs, revealing a tentacle in its back to see a large octopus-like demon. "Witch apprentice!" Then the puppet moves away to show a large demonic octopus with large bulgy eyes and black eyebrows. Soon the ground erupted with more puppets, those she cared and thought loved like the fairy princess, the cat citizens, Cat Chris, and even Nevarad.
"Okay Luz, don't panic, this is a classic chosen one biz," she said to herself out loud seeing the puppets surrounding her. "You just have to rescue everyone and defeat the final boss."
"I am everybody you fool!" the wizard Adegast moved towards hers and then bag to the puppeteer. "Don't you see, I'm no wizard," he pointed to Luz. "And you're no chosen one. I've tricked you" he uproars an evil laughter.
"What?" then her cape starts to flow then wrapped her arms and upper body, then the bracelet cuffs her wrists and the ring changes into a lock and chains. "No! Betrayed by my own cool accessories, why are you doing this?!"
The puppets surrounded Luz once more and spoke at once. "Your mentor has been stealing my customers from my potions business for years." the wizard puppet spoke out. "She must be destroyed."
"Does everybody here have beef with Eda here?!" Luz said to the puppets as they all nod their heads in agreement.
"And you lured her right into my trap, all because you wanted to think you're special." the octopus demon said to the human.
"Luz!" Chris ran into the scene to see the Adegast, the squid demon and the many, many puppets in his tentacles. "... Woah… That … is disturbing on so many levels."
"Ah heck." The fantasy loving girl winced, well sort of glad it was not Eda but this is much worse.
"Ah, the small one."
"I am not short!"
"I didn't say your short." the puppet said. "Come to save your friend?" The octopus demon lifts Luz with one of the cat puppets. The Nevarath Puppet drew his sword and circled around him. "What fun, double the fun, double to bait I need."
"What the hell is going on here?!" Beat shouted, being very confused and disturbed on what's going on.
"What happened to being reserved?" the short teen said to his opposite size difference friend. "I just had him right in my hands."
"Chris, there's people with tentacles on their heads."
"You're supposed to be the trump card if me and Luz are in a pinch."
"I am, just that image… ew."
"..." Adegast turned to Luz with curiosity. "Are they always like this?"
"24/7." Luz answered flatley. "Don't get me started on sleepover movie night. Because it's the same argument to watch the Good Witch Azura and the Black Knight, or the Good Witch Azura the Trails of Dragons."
"... Wow, never have I met with people who bicker like that?" Adegast said, turning his attention back to the two humans.
"Ah fine, you're here anyway." Chris said and pulled out the chosen Amulet. "Tell you what, you have the first blow."
"Thank you." he said, cracking his neck as he pulled out a new amulet. "LETS DESTROY! MEGATAUR!" Beat cries out his Titan, coming out of the amulet is a large monitor with shoulder armor and yellow chains on his chest and wrist and has large horns. It bellowed out to the sky ready to charge into battle. "Take that thing down Megataur!" he nodded and charged at the octopus with power and speed. The force of the impact had hit the demon, it was forced to let Luz go… but not all was planned well when they forgot she was held in the air in the first place.
"AAAAGH!" Luz screams as she falls to the ground.
"Come out! GAR-GHOUL!" Chris cries out as a large stone dragonic gargoyle comes out from behind his seeker and roared with pride. "Save Luz!" it roared and flew over the fight and grabbed the girl then placed her near Chris as it broke the magical chains.
"Guys," Luz whimpered as she hugged her friends. "I'm so sorry."
"Ok," Beat smiled and pats his friends back. "We'll take care of it from here." he said, punching his palm ready to fight.
"Well, well, so the myths are true, you two are Seekers," the puppeteer said rubbing his stubby hands. "No matter, I'll have you fall into your own fantasies in no time." the puppets launched to attack.
Beat charged forward and tackled two of the cat citizens as Chris pushed Luz aside for him to be captured. What she was about to be captured again, a green blur swooped to her and lifted the fantasy girl away in the air."What the?" Luz looks back as she was grabbed by Kipperin, flying around to avoid the tentacles. "... My Titan?" she said and saw her friends being surrounded.
"Three seekers? Ooh what a treat! More ways for me to-" But he noticed the tentacle he grabbed upon the shorter teen to see it tied in a knot. "Huh?"
He was slightly covered in green oil, slipping out of the tentacle to grab hold of his captor. "Thank you Eda for the Snake Oil." Chris smirks and grabs another to tangle with another. "And Thank you mom for teaching me Judo."
Beat just smashed two more puppets's skulls together turning into dust, then kicked the Chris Cat in the face. "Guess we're going to need more umph to take this guy down." the tall teen said to his shorter seeker.
"Arf!" Beauregard leaped over the Tentacles, his body glowing and howling out. "AAARRROOOOOOOOOOHHHH!" With the mighty green aura, Megataur and Gar-Ghoul began to re-energize with power and fought harder.
"Good boy," Chris praised the titan dog as he gave him a pet, however, unknotice of the Nevarath puppet coming at him from behind with his sword about to strike him. "Huh?"
*Stab!"
"Agh!" the puppet warrior cries in agony as the toy sword from Luz stabbed him from behind. "My flawless abs!" then he poofed into dust.
"Thanks for having our back L," Beat said, waving at her, then he turned to the other puppets and started to have a wicked grin. "Beat smash!" he shouted as he started punching and slaming puppets to the ground crushing them.
Gar-Ghoul roars and exhales high water pressure to cut through the tentacles as Megator grabbed a set and crushed them with flawless might.
"..." Adegast lost his puppets as his tentacles are tangled, beaten or cut as he is surrounded by the Seekers and their Titans. "m-mercy?"
"Mercy?" Chris pats his fist to his palm. "I think I ran all that out when you touched our friend." Bulregard growled with Gar-Ghoul cracking his stone neck.
"Yeah," Beat agreed as he and his titan punched their palms and cracked their knuckles. "I think we've gone past the act of mercy."
"Guys wait," Luz spoke out for them to have their attention. "He's my fight." she said and prepared her toy sword.
"Whatever you say L." Beat and Chris move aside to let their fantasy loving friend to finish the fight.
"Luz wait!" Adegast tries to persuade with words. "I can give you anything you want, a quest, the adventure," he said as the eerie fog envelopes them. "The magic you always wanted…"
"... No, I already have everything I wanted." she said in a mid darkest tone. "Now, time for judgment."
"..." the octopus demon was silent and he knew at that moment…. He's dead. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"That's our girl," Beat said with a smirk on his face. "Should we get the fire started?"
Chris puts on his chief's hat and smiles. "You get the fire ready, I'll have Luz cut it up for me." he said as he went out to gather ingredients.

"Kids are you alright!?" Eda rushes to find them… only to see they are alright… and a tangled up dead demon octopus tied to a tree, all bruised and battered.
"Oh Eda, you're just in time," Chris said as he's wearing his chef's hat. "I was making some Takoyaki balls, want some?"
"..." the Owl Lady was impressed that two different size humans manage to beat up the puppeteer demon. "What happened here?"
"After I checked in with Luz, she left and I had to drag Chris out to find her." Beat said as he set up a campfire with Megataur chopping up a large tentacle. "Now, lets make some dinner."
"They tracked me with Chris using Bulregard with his scouting abilities," Luz said as she hugged the Titan Bulldog close. "If it wasn't for them… I'd be toast…" she looked down with sadness. "Eda… I'm sorry for not listening, and this place is nothing like I imagined."
"I know what you mean kid, we all thought to be the chosen one, in our dreams that is," Eda said, seeing Gar-Ghoul handing her a plate of octopus balls, appreciating it and taking it. "Hey, after we eat, there's something I want to show you three."
"Arf!" Bulregard calls out for his own to be digging the center of the fake pillar.
Chris followed his Titan for the paws to try and grab a slab of stone. The short teen lifted it to see what got him curious… "Luz!" he said and grabbed the item. "... Here…" he said and hands her a ring of sorts. "We've found it here where you were captured, guess Adegast never saw it here."
"Whoa, another titan?" Luz said with wonder. "I wonder what it could be."
Beat smiled but now full of curiosity. "It's not an amulet?" he said as he remembered his titans are held by a string necklace.
"Dunno, I still need time to fix the Holotome." Chris confirms everyone. "It's… not a staff… but it's something to find a reward after all of this what not."
Unknowing to them Eda was in shock when she saw the ring Luz was holding. "... no way, i-it can't be…"
"Hey, Eda," Luz looked at her Mentor. "You ok? Your food is getting cold?"
"Eh wha?" she said snapping back to reality. "Oh uh, y-yeah kid, I'm fine." Eda went back to eating her octopus balls while still thinking about that ring.

All three humans are blindfolded and Eda is flying her staff with King on the large teen's shoulder. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." the three humans took there blind folds off to see the full majesty of the boiling isles while the sun is setting. "The bones of the isles. Up close the isles can be slimy…"
"Stinky…" the king spoked listing one of the things.
"Gross…" Beat followed up with the king of demons.
"Repulsive…"
"Horrifying…"
"We get it," Eda said as she looked up. "But if you look in a different perspective…" They look up to see the night sky as a shooting star passes the skull of the isles.
"It's beautiful." Luz said with a smile.
"Yeah." King agreed then he fell asleep.
Luz then turns to her friends and her mentor. "Guys, how did you know that Wizard was lying?"
The large teen sighed a little. "Well, like the three of us and everyone in both worlds."
"We all wanted to believe we are chosen for a higher purpose." Chris finished what Beat is going to say. "We just have to face facts that not all of us have the spotlight."
"If we all wait for a prophecy to tell us we're special…" she emphasized her words. "Then we'll die waiting, which is why each of you, have to make your own path."
"Does that mean you'll give me Chris and Beat magic staves of our own?" Luz said, still holding onto her dream.
"Hm… not yet…" Eda confirms it. "But… someday…" she smiled as all four of them enjoyed the scenery of the boiling isles sunset.
