"There is a robbery in progress at Stein's Jewelry store.Would you like me to set a course for you?"The voice coming from her suit that Kara had named Lily asked.Kara would never admit to anyone other than herself that she chose the name because like Lena's initials it had two L's. She had been enjoying flying around trying out all the different options that the suit had.Kara honestly couldn't pick a favorite although having built in sun lamps was in the top ten.As Kara had been flying around trying out all the features she marveled at what Lena accomplished. She had tested the shields to see what kind of damage the suit would take if she was hit hard but even flying through a wall of concrete the suit's shields weren't effected.

"Please do Lily and can you bring up the security feed so I know what I'm flying into."Kara smiled when the HUD in her helmet displayed a map showing where she needed to go and a video of the robbers in real time streamed from a security camera.That was another bonus of the suit.It allowed Kara to hack any security cameras she wanted. She even tried to get access to the DEO and had been surprised when it didn't even take a second to work.Kara hadn't taken the time to look but she was pretty sure she would be able to access all their top secret files as well.

"Who is that?" Kara heard one of the robbers ask as he saw her coming towards them.

"I guess they don't recognize me in my new suit."Kara said as she flew towards the robbers.She rolled her eyes when they shot at her and the bullets bounced off her suit."Why do they always shoot at me?Did he just through a rock?What use would a rock be?"

"It is my understanding that when humans are threatened that they pick up the closet object to protect themselves with."Lily said.

"Thank you Lily."Kara was finding that she actually liked having the AI to communicate with.Lily's voice was a lot nicer than Alex's voice in her ear making demands or criticizing what Kara did.Grabbing each man Kara sat them down and used the zip ties that were in one of her suit's many compartments.When one of the men tried to flee she flicked him on the forehead causing him to pass out.

"Hands behind your hand and get on the ground!" A police offer demanded as he jumped out of his cruiser and pointed his gun at Kara.

"Lily activate outside voice projection."Kara said.

"Activated."Lily replied.

"I just did your jobs for you and you point a gun at me?Way to show your gratitude.Maybe next time I'll leave it up you to take care of it."Kara didn't wait for a reply, she just shot up in the air ignoring the police's further demands.Deciding to go home and get some work done she activated stealth mode and flew into her apartment invisible to the outside world.She rolled her eyes when she saw Alex jump up from the couch and point a gun at her.

"Who's there?"Alex asked.

Kara deactivated stealth mode and hit a button on the suit causing it to retract back into the original cuff."Put the gun away it's just me."

"What the fuck?! What were you wearing?"Alex demanded.

"I'm wearing the new suit Lena made me."Kara told her as she made her way into her bedroom to change into comfortable clothing.Taking her original SuperGirl outfit off Kara happily realized that with her new suit she would never have to wear the outfit ever again.

Alex followed right behind Kara not caring about giving her sister any privacy."Why are you wearing a suit made by a Luthor?"

"Because it's far superior than anything you have ever made."Kara told her.

"I don't want you wearing any suit that comes from Lena."Alex said.

Kara rolled her eyes."And why is that?"

"Because she isn't trustworthy!She has proven time and again that she isn't a good person.I bet the suit is equipped with surveillance software and all kinds of things that are unsafe for you."Alex told her.

"You mean like you did with my phone?"Kara trusted Lena more than she trusted Alex at this point.She knew that Lena only had her best interest at heart.The woman had proved it especially by giving Kara access to her private lab.

"What I did with your phone was necessary.It isn't safe for us to not know where you are."Alex said.

"Yeah right."Kara scoffed at the very idea the tracker was for her personal safety."More like you want to know where I am so you can track my every move."

Alex clenched her firsts."I have dedicated my life to your safety and if I want to know where you are every minute of the day then I will."

"Not anymore."Kara had come to an important decision right then.

"What do you mean by that?"Alex asked suspiciously.

"That means that from now on I am no longer taking orders from you or anyone else.You don't have my best interest at heart you just want to control my every move."Kara wasn't going to put up with it anymore.Lena gave her the ability to stand up for herself with the new suit and Kara would be a fool not to use it.

Alex took a step towards Kara but stopped suddenly as if she thought better of it."You can't do that."

"Oh I can and not only that I will.From now on no more."Kara wasn't going to backdown from her decision.

"Give me the suit."Alex demanded.

"I'm not giving you the suit."Kara wasn't going to take the cuff off ever again.

"I didn't want to have to do this but you left me no choice."Alex pulled out a small lead container and opened the lid revealing a piece of kryptonite."Now give me the suit."

Before Kara could even push the button to activate the suit it was already on her body.The sun lamps burst to life and she felt the small amount of energy she lost because of the exposure to the green material start to fade."Thank you Lily.How did you know to activate?"

"Miss Luthor put in sensors to activate the suit if kryptonite is detected."Lily told her.

"I will have to thank her for that later."Kara made a move and grabbed the box out of a surprised Alex's hand.

"What…How….You can't…"Alex stuttered out.

"Activate outside voice projection."Kara paused before she spoke."Lena has little trust in the world so she took measures to make me safe and I'm glad she did."

"This is not going to fly Kara.You need to give me that suit."Alex's voice was stern but weak.

"It's not happening.Now leave and don't contact me again."Kara told her.

"I'll be back and with backup."Alex threatened as she hurried her way out of the door.

"Don't bother."Kara called out after her."Lily please contact Lena for me."

"Connecting."Lily said.

"Hello SuperGirl is every thing alright?Did something happen with the suit?"Lena's worried voice asked.

"No the suit is great."Kara assured her."I had a run in with the DEO and I was wondering if I could come by to talk to you about it."

"That's fine.I'm still at the lab so come over whenever you want."Lena told her.

"I'm on my way then."Kara said.

"See you soon."Lena then disconnected the call.

"Lily please activate stealth mode."Kara waited until Lily spoke before leaving her apartment.She wasn't sure how she was feeling but it seemed like her life was falling apart.She was proud of herself though.Alex and her human family had been a thorn in her side since Clark had left her with them.They had forced her to take on the identity of a human and tried to get her to forget about her own culture by reprimanding her for following the customs of her home world.Now though Kara had a chance to be free of them.She just needed to speak to Lena first and warn her about what happened because Kara had no doubts that Alex and maybe even SuperMan would come for the suit.It was to powerful for them not to.
