Chapter 13
Egg to the Mornin' to Ya

Over at Totsuki Academy at the Polar Star Dorm, Itsuki is eagerly awaiting all of his dorm mates to return.

From the fog, Saiba's voice can be heard, "HEY, ITSUKI! WE'RE BACK!" as shadowy silhouettes can be seen.

"WELCOME HOME, EVERYONE!" Itsuki is happy to see everyone back, "Glad to see you all made it through the Training Camp from Hell. Each of you did just sple-"

Itsuki's celebration was cut short when he sees Saiba completely jacked with points on his body that look like the stars that form the Big Dipper with a sound in the background that goes ATATATATATATATATATA-HOAH! He is also emitting a red and intense aura around him as he gives a menacing look. In other words, Fist of the North Star reference.

Itsuki asks in a muscle headed tone, "Did you miss us?"

Itsuki is nervous, "Saiba?! You really bulked up. I'm guessing the challenges were difficult."

Everyone else look like their in a gang with Megumi dressed in a black student uniform and having a skull hair pin while chewing on something with an angry expression. Yuki and Ryoko are in purple and dark pink coats that aren't buttoned up with Ryoko wearing lipstick that matches her coat while also wearing eye make-up. And on Ryoko's coat, there is some lettering that says, 'Polar Star's Strongest & Baddest'. Shoji is wearing a blue jacket while sitting next to Daigo with his red jacket and both of them look quite menacing. Erina is also there, but is wearing a straight jacket with a lot of belts on it and her eyes are rolled over. As if she was traumatized by something.

Itsuki is freaked-out, "Megumi?! Is that you, Megumi?! You seem a bit on the gloomy side."

Megumi stops chewing and sings her chain around, "Shut up, you loser!" she says in a menacing tone.

Itsuki is startled and back away.

Yuki cracks her knuckles while laughing menacingly, "What do ya say we beat the skinny little loser to a bloody pulp?"

Daigo and Shoji agree, "Let's snap his scrawny little neck."

Ryoko looks down at Itsuki, "Please do not disrespect your elders like that. I don't take kindly to it!"

"Erina? What happened to you? Why are you dressed up as if you were in an insane asylum?"

Erina's only reply was a mad giggle that made it a bit more disturbing.

Shun appears and looks like he's been living in the mountains for who knows how long as he is dirty, having a beard and longer hair and has a bush of hair around his pelvic regions.

"Shun? What happened to your once charming hairstyle?"

"Bushy."

As Itsuki tries to process what is going on, he notices that someone is missing. "Hang on you guys. What happened to Zenji? I don't see him anywhere. What happened to him?"

Shun tries to pull something out in his hair, "The only thing we can find," Shun pulls out Zenji's cracked and broken glasses and show it to Itsuki, "were these."

"Oh god." Itsuki is filled with dread as he cries and holds Zenji's glasses close to him, "NOT ZENJI MY BOY!"

Zenji's spirit is seen above the clouds as he waves goodbye to everyone while having angel wings.

Itsuki wakes up on his bed after having such a horrible nightmare after taking a deep gasp. Then he calms down when he realizes that it wasn't real...as he is in bed naked.

"Oh wow. Man. What a nightmare." he gets out of bed and opens the curtains, "Today's only the third day of training camp. Please make it back everyone."

Back at the resort, everyone who didn't get kicked out are working as hard as they could to make today's challenge; ramen. They're doing the best they could to get it right as they are being judged by the chef of today.

One girl presents her dish and the chef is not happy, "This dish is awful! Make it all again!"

Then it was Megumi's turn.

He tries a bite and enjoys it, "Megumi Tadokoro. You may clean-up your station, you pass."

Megumi is delighted to hear that, "Thank you very much." Then she heads over to clean-up.

But she bumps into someone, "Hey! Look out!"

She panics, "Sorry!"

Saiba giggles a little, 'Megumi has improved. But still has a long way to go.' But he remembers the challenge he had with Kojiro and started to have some doubts. 'Yet I wonder. If Kojiro haven't messed up his dish, could I still won? Could I've been able to beat a Tostuki graduate with the skills I have now? I must get better. I must make dishes that surpass the ingredients of the new continent. For her. For everyone.' Saiba pulls out the ramen and says, "Order up!"

Afterwards, Erina and Hisako are walking down the hallway with Hisako having her clipboard as usual. They continue to walk down the hall until they come across two certain figures that Erina doesn't like. One of them is a girl with short white hair with a longer piece over her chin and red eyes, like an albino, and wearing a yellow school uniform rather than the standard blue. Beside her is a young man with Chinese worry balls, black and white in color, that he grinds, having a red bandana tied to his arm, messy black hair and similar red eyes. Although he does seem bored. This is Alice Nakiri, Erina's cousin, and Ryo Kurokiba, her assistant.

Alice smiles at her, "You act like your some sort of queen around here. You can't keep it up forever."

Erina just walk pass by, "Thanks so much for the advice. I will certainly keep that in mind, okay? The sad ramblings of the lower classes are very helpful."

Alice then says, "By the way, how is that boy toy of yours?"

Erina stops.

Alice then says, "Oh my, I think that's him."

Erina shoves Alice out of the way and have her hit against the wall as she goes, "WHERE?!" while drooling.

Alice is face planted into the wall and leaving a crack in the shape of her body.

"Ow." Alice groans in pain.

Ryo drops his worry balls and is disturbed by what just happened. He backs away slowly along with Hisako.

Erina looks around, "Where? Where?"

In the hallway, everyone from Polar Star is retiring for the evening.

Yuki groans, "Today was absolutely horrendous again."

She, along with Shoji and Daigo, are exhausted from today's lessons. Megumi, Saiba, Ryoko and Shun are alright. Zenji, on the other hand, is more exhausted than everyone else as he is completely white as a ghost, have a gloomy aura and using a cane to get by.

Yuki leans forward in exhaustion, "Ugh! I want to go my luxury room and go to sleep."

Ryoko is reading the schedule, "We still have two more days left. I don't think that we can still pull it off you guys. Hm? There's no assigned bedroom curfew for tonight."

Shun looks at the schedule Ryoko is holding and notice it. "Yeah, you're right."

Saiba stops and goes, "Uh-oh."

Everyone stops and look at Saiba as Megumi asks, "Is something wrong?"

"I maybe a bit paranoid, but I think I have an idea on what is gonna happen. I remember Itsuki saying something about this particular challenge."

Yuki looks at Saiba and goes, "Oh yeah. I think he said something about..." Yuki's face is filled with dread, "...oh no."

Zenji mustered whatever strength he has left and speaks, "I think we're supposed to make breakfast tomorrow for guests." Then Zenji collapses at the horror with his soul trying to get out of his mouth. The soul screams, "NOOOO! I WILL NEVER GET ANY SLEEP!"

Almost everyone went from exhausted to terror when they finally remembered what Itsuki said.

The PA system then makes an announcement with Gin speaking, "All students of Totsuki Academy. At ten PM, that's one hour from now, you are to report to the main banquet hall dressed in your school uniforms. Once again, that's ten PM."

Many of them started to panic as the ultimate of horror of the Training Camp from Hell is about to begin!

Everyone made it to the main banquet hall in their school uniforms with many students left and made it this far. All of them are beat and just want to go to bed to get enough energy for any other insane challenges for tomorrow. But they will learn the truth later.

Saiba looks around, "There are a lot less of us now, huh?"

Megumi is starting to panic as the others (with the exception of Shun) are white as ghosts for what is gonna happen.

Shun looks at the students, "They all are exhausted."

"Yeah, no joke." Although Saiba is feeling fine. To him, this is nothing compared to what he went through.

"SAIBA!" Takumi runs up to Saiba along with Ikumi.

Both of them are up in Saiba's face with Takumi being a little angry while Ikumi is as well but is blushing.

"What were you thinking?!" Ikumi says, "How foolish of you to challenge a graduate in a Food War!?"

"I am not leaving the academy until we have settle things once and for all!"

Both Ikumi and Takumi angrily stare at each other with sparks in the air.

"Who the hell are you supposed to be?!"

"Who exactly are you?!"

Saiba sighs, "Would you two calm down? And besides, you guys did see me a bunch of times before the challenges."

They both say to Saiba, "Of course we have, you idiot!"

Yet Takumi backs away, "Wait a second. If you're here, that must mean..."

"You mean...you actually won?"

Saiba just give them a straight answer, "Megumi and I did, only because he got the wrong ingredient and didn't know how to prepare a special type of cabbage."

Both of them say, "You won because of a technical difficulty?"

"Kojiro lost because he didn't know how to properly cook Enamel Cabbage and he got swindled with a look-a-like ingredient."

"A look a like?"

"Yeah, you know? Like the coral snake and the milk snake."

"I see." Takumi realizes but gets angry, "You got lucky!"

Ikumi scolds Saiba, "What would've happen if he did his dish right?!"

Everyone in the room then see Erina coming in as Takumi and Ikumi noticed. Erina walks gracefully and full of dignity as she brush her hair aside.

Saiba noticed and is freaking out. He hides behind the two, "I'll just hide over here."

But at the stage, Gin says to everyone with the microphone, "Everyone, direct your attention towards the stage." Everyone focuses on Gin at the podium, "There is but one reason you have been called here; for me to inform you of tomorrows challenge."

Yuki, Ryoko, Zenji, Daigo and Shoji are still pale as ghosts because, thanks to Itsuki, they know what is gonna happen.

Ikumi asks them, "What is up with you guys?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, your challenge is to create a new breakfast item. Befitting our guest here at Totsuki Resort. Breakfast is the face of our hotel. It is an important meal that represents the start of our guests' day. Presents the table with an air of invigorated radiance. Something that cannot be ignore nor forgotten. Make a single dish, one that gives a sense of wonder for today." Gin holds up an egg in his hand, "Your main ingredient will be eggs. You're allowed to prepare any style of cuisine. But it must be presented in a buffet fashion. Judgment will begin at six AM tomorrow. Be ready to present your dish for tasting by that time."

Some of the students murmur about what Gin just said. Over at the still white Polar Star members, they have started to crack like eggs in an ironic sense.

Yuki starts screaming and back in color, "THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL UUUUUSSS!"

Zenji also returns to color yet having tears flowing as he screams, "I WILL NEVER GET ANY SLEEP TONIIIGGHHT!"

"Use your time however you see fit. You may use the kitchen to test your new dishes. Or you may rest up back in your rooms. But all see you all bright an' early." He smiles yet it is completely scary and gives the students overwhelming dread, "YOU'RE DISMISSED!"

Yuki says to all the members of Polar Star while wearing an army general's helmet, "Come on, hop to it! We got to ace this! Move move move!"

Many of the students, despite many being exhausted, head over to the kitchen as fast as they could.

Takumi takes this as a chance, "Finally, we have ourselves a worth while challenge. Just you wait, Saiba Yuki-"

"SAIBA!" Erina tackles Saiba and interrupts Takumi's declaration.

"OW! Not again!" Saiba is on the ground with Erina on top of him, "What is it now?"

Erina clasps Saiba's hands together and has hearts where her pupils should be, "Are you gonna make that nice and fluffy omelette like you did back in the entrance exam? I would love to have it again." and she starts drooling. Remembering the taste of the omelette.

"EW! Don't drool on me! That's gross!"

Takumi is surprised to see such a display while Isami is giggling at Saiba's misery.

Both of them are now standing up as Saiba says, "The thing is, I do want to make a new dish that I want to experiment with."

"A new dish?" Erina gets excited, "What is it?!" and is getting wet, "Can I try it?"

Saiba press his finger on Erina's nose, "First; calm down."

"Okay." Erina stands in attention.

"Well, there is a new egg dish I would like to prepare, but there is a problem."

"Oh? Are the qualities of the eggs too low?"

"Quite the opposite. I think the quality of the eggs here at this resort are too high."

Takumi asks, "Care to explain?" He is interested in what Saiba was hoping to make.

"You see, the intensity of the flavor comes from the yolk for this dish I'm working on. If I use an egg that is too rich in flavor, the overall dish would become overwhelming. Especially if I use the Yuki Neko brand of sauce."

Isami gets it, "Oh, I see. You're planning on having the flavor of the yolk concentrated by some means in order to get the egg's mouthful of richness and add the sauce's strong flavor to best use a lighter-tasting egg to maximize two components."

"Yeah. Although, I could look around to find the lowest grade that I could and take it from there."

Hisako then shows up, "Miss Erina! Everything is prepared and is ready to go."

Erina sighs, "Very well. Let's do it." Before she takes off, Erina looks at Saiba with a smile, "Make sure you pass, okay sweetie?" and blows a kiss.

Saiba shutters that ended up ripping the kiss she has blown.

In a room at the top of the resort, Gin is having a discussion with Chapelle and Hitoshi.

"Such a peaceful night." Gin starts, "Although, judging from the faces of those of the Polar Star Dorm, they must've known about last year's training camp."

"Indeed." Chapelle speaks, "Just like last year, the students are in a frantic pace. In a way far beyond their perpetual discord."

In the kitchen, many of the students are still exhausted from what they've endeared today. Their moral is low and they're trying their best to make the perfect egg dish. Yet some are too tired to think of anything. The only ones that would survive might be those that have confidence in their cooking techniques.

"This challenge is a lot more harsh that what Itsuki told us." Shun says to Ryoko.

"Not to worry." Ryoko says as she chops some vegetables, "With some of the stuff we've learned about Saiba's world, we might succeed. Those ingredients tasted like it was from the land of the gods. I'm confident that we'll make it."

Shun has some doubts, "Yet still. It's a lot like a drug if you ask me."

Ryoko stops and looks at Shun, "Huh?"

"You see, the reason why Saiba is here is because he wants to make somethin' that would surpass the ingredients from his world. True, the ingredients are delicious, but they only exist in one area that would mean death. The food from there have an intoxicating effect that people would do anything to have it. Even sacrificing their entire army just so only one out of dozens of legions can return with only one ingredient."

"So its like the forbidden fruit in western religions."

"Exactly."

Over where Erina and Hisako are at, Erina proclaims, "I'm done. What about you, Hisako?"

Hisako is taste testing, "I'm half way done, ma'am."

"Alrighty then. Don't keep at it too long. Oh, and Hisako." Erina points her finger at Hisako, "Tomorrow, we're having a rematch. In last night's game of old maid with those people of the Polar Star Dorm, you see, I wasn't really feeling it in my usual form. But you will be ready, right?"

"Yes. Of course." 'Oh Miss Erina. You are determine to be the victor, no matter what. What an honorable soul!'

"By the way." Erina looks away and her shoulders fidget, "I'm gonna check on Saiba's dish. I need to take this chance before it is all gone before noon."

"Huh? Oh, right. What exactly is it?"

Back in the kitchen, Saiba looked around to make sure no one is looking as he uses a type of ice spell to freeze the egg.

"That should do it." he looks at the egg.

Then he proceeds to peel the shell off, roll it in batter, deep fry it, and place it on a bowl full of rice while also having two fried shiso leaves as a garnish.

"Okay. Now for the test." He breaks the fried egg apart and the yolk is poured over the rice and sauce while being silky smooth. Saiba examines, "The egg is perfect, but its all about taste here." Saiba takes his chopsticks and blows it before eating. He chews to make sure the contents are right and the taste isn't overwhelming. "Hey, that's actually good. I would definitely serve this." but he looks at the eggs on the counter, "Although, I need to freeze these eggs overnight. Not to mention that not all the eggs will fit in the freezer, assuming there is a freezer I can use. Looks like I'll have to use the omelette I made in the entrance exam." Saiba thinks it over, 'But can I make more than one dish. Gin said to make a single dish, but is it possible to substitute? Or is it possible for me to serve two types of dishes at once. A buffet means you can have a multitude of choices. Not to mention that I may need to deal with overcrowding and there won't be enough. Although, should I use my super speed when things get hairy? Yet it may not be enough.' Saiba touches the necklace his mother gave him under his shirt, 'Sorry mom, but I'm gonna have to break that one rule if I were to stay at Totsuki. I already done it twice. Please forgive me.'

Over at Takumi's station, he is filled with pride, "Its done! Perfect! A breakfast dish made from using the Aldini family techniques!" he does a prideful laugh, "Oh just you wait, Saiba. You shall witness my cooking!"

Isami tries to bring his brother back to reality, "Takumi, if you're done, why don't you go to bed already."

At Megumi's station, she is working hard on making her breakfast oden rather than just panicking about it. She continues to stir her oden to make sure it is perfect.

Yuki looks over, "Wow. You're on fire, Megumi."

Shun is already working on making his own dish as Shoji and Daigo have an argument. Zenji is asleep while standing over his bowl. But his snot bubble pop and lands face first into his eggs. One girl was worried, but Zenji wakes up and shakes the eggs off of him. Ikumi is using her cleaver on beef meat. Ryoko is taste testing her dish.

Saiba already made another egg tempura bowl as he felt a disturbance and his instincts were telling him to leave. He frantically looks around, feeling that a certain someone is coming over. But then he sees Alice right in front of him.

"Whoa!" he was caught off guard, "Who are you!?"

Alice looks at the dish, "Now that's an interesting idea. An egg tempura rice bowl." Then she tries to walk away, "Well, I'll be seeing you in the morning." but bumps into Ryo and acts like she is in pain. Then scolds at him, "What are you doing?! Don't just stand there, move it!"

Saiba's instincts were warning him, but not because of Erina. He feels something uneasy about Ryo as he looks at him. Like he feels like a fox about to get shot by a patient hunter who is just waiting for the right opportunity.

Ryo says to Alice, "But my lady, you told me to stand back here and not move."

"I told you to do that when we're intimidating someone but that part's over! You were supposed to be all super menacing lurking behind me with your eyeliner and hair and stuff. Hey, what happened to your balls? You should be playing with-"

"Whoa!" Saiba yelped again.

Alice and Ryo look and see Erina taste testing Saiba's dish.

"Erina, what the hell!?" Alice yells at her cousin. "I thought you would be in bed by now! Wait. You're actually trying someone else's dish?"

Everyone in the kitchen look around and notice Erina taste testing Saiba's egg tempura bowl.

"Is that really Erina?!" one of the male students asks.

One female student asks, "Why is she trying out Saiba's dish?"

Erina take a bite and there was a long pause.

In Erina's mind, there is an egg. And the egg hatches into a chick with Saiba's face on it. A whole bunch of Saiba faced chicks appear and started to peck and rub themselves against her naked body and tries not to moan.

'The content of the egg is perfectly soft-boiled that it is producing a silky smooth texture. And this delicate and complexity of the flavors! How could something of low standing create such a unique depth?! It's like I'm being lifted by the tenderness of...of...' "I CAN'T HOLD BACK ANYMORE!"

Back in reality, Erina continues to scarf down the egg tempura bowl, much to everyone's surprise. Once she was finished, he started drooling and her eyes glow red.

"MOrE..." she speaks in a demonic tone, "GIvE mE moRe..." Then look at Saiba's direction, "SAIBA! I WANT ANOTHER!" but he disappeared and Erina goes back to normal, "Saiba?"

Alice is freaked out, 'What the hell was that?! I never seen Erina like this before!'

Saiba is already in his hotel room with the door barricaded as he chatters his teeth in fear.

'I don't think I'll get any sleep tonight.'

The next day, Saiba's jaw dropped when he sees the size of Assembly Hall A.

"Holy crap!" he blared, "My home town can fit in here!"

Many of the students are working on getting ready for the breakfast rush. Yet some are so exhausted that some accidentally fell asleep on the floor and some of the other students try to wake them up.

Saiba looks around and notices Megumi, "There's Megumi." and sees her doing the scribbling in her hand and eat it, "She's doing it again." But he looks over where Takumi is at and Takumi is trying to say something. "There's Takumi. I think he's trying to say something, but since I'm in my human form, I can't hear what he's saying. I can't make it out." Then he heads over to his station, "Oh well, guess this is my spot. As long as I'm far away from-"

Before he can finish what he was saying, Erina takes a few trays and place them aside.

"Uh?"

"Oh?"

"Ah crap." Saiba starts sweating bullets.

Erina jumps on Saiba, "Saiba!" and squeals while giving him a hug, "Isn't this wonderful? We get to work side by side. It's fate!" She looks at him, "Now give me a kiss for good luck."

Saiba tries to break free, "No thanks!" but Erina squeezes him tighter.

"Ouch!" Erina felt something poking against her, "What was that?"

"Oh that?" Saiba reaches into his shirt and pulls out the necklace his mother gave him, "This is the necklace my mother gave me before I left."

Erina looks at it, "Oh. It looks kinda tribal."

Saiba puts his necklace back, "Its part of our family tradition. Especially since I'm in a world full of nothing but humans."

"A world full of nothing but humans?" Erina repeated the last part what Saiba said. "What do you mean by that?"

Saiba realized his mistake and focus on his task, "Let's just focus on this challenge. Best be prepared when the breakfast rush comes."

"R-right." Erin continues with her preparations yet thinks, 'Is Saiba human? Unless that necklace has some magical ability to turn him human. Hmm...'

Saiba is getting out the electric whisk, "Well, best of luck to you, Erina."

"Wait. Are you making a souffle omelette? The one from the entrance exam? I thought you were gonna make that egg tempura bowl."

"Sure, but I may not have enough frozen eggs. So I might have to make the omelettes."

Gin and many of the faculty members are watching the assembly halls via the monitors in a dark room.

"I assume you have done prepping for your dishes." Gin says through the microphone, "I'm sure you like to know the conditions in order for you to pass."

Back in the assembly hall, everyone watches Gin on the giant televisions.

"But first, allow me to introduce your judges."

They hear the doors open and see a crowd of people with little kids running in.

"Welcome our suppliers and their families. They've provide the ingredients used her at Totsuki Resort. They serve as judges every year and also have come up with the theme. Egg dish with a sense of wonder. These guys know their stuff and are very precise."

An evil laugh can be heard coming in through the door. There are three old men with dark and menacing auras about them.

"Thanks for the introduction." says the bald man called Egg Man Tokuzo, "Keep in mind we eat nothing that isn't up to our strict standards."

Next to him is a more well built balding man called, Green Beans Kosuke, and another with long hair and dark glasses called, Natural Cheese Kyusaku.

"Whoa." Saiba says, "Those old timers are legit."

The three men walk in the room as if they own the place and are serious. Yet from the door enters the staff of the resort.

"Totsuki Resort staff from the cooking and service divisions will also serve as judges."

Many of the students are now getting overwhelmed by not just the suppliers, kids and serious old guys, but also from the staff as well.

Daigo looks up at the screen and recognizes one of the staff members, "That's the maitre d' of the hotel!"

"No freakin' way!" says Shoji, "Even Chef Dojima's sous-chef is here!"

Saiba's hands are shaking but gets a grip, 'I can do this. I must succeed.'

"Two criterias must be met: First; the producer and staff must approve. Second; you must serve two-hundred of your plates in two hours. Now remember; be vigilant and keep your customers happy. They are who matter the most."

Isami says, "Two hundred plates, huh?"

'I see.' Takumi gets it, 'Men and women, young and old. A diverse clientele. They're totally simulating an early breakfast rush. This is closet they could done that resembles real cooking.'

"Whoever meet these criterias, shall pass. Now then, judges in all assembly halls; enjoy this breakfast to your heart's content."

"LET THE JUDGMENT BEGIN!"

All the students are trying to lure the customers to try and taste their dishes. Takumi's Insalata Frittata is getting high marks with the different textures. The fluffiness of the frittata mixed with the crispness of the vegetables and the balsamic vinegar gives it a refreshing taste. And the Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it helps blend it together, give it a true taste of an Italian dish. The old men trio went over to Megumi's vendor and give her breakfast oden a try. They all loved it and Natural Cheese Kyusaku asks Megumi if she could marry his grandson. The mellowness and colorful bit-sized melody gives it a heart-warming soothingness to the soul.

In Assembly Hall E, Ikumi's Petit Size Loco Moco Don is getting high praise. She replaces the standard gravy with Vinegarette to improve the viscosity of the egg and the juiciness of the hamburger meat. The deliciousness of the white wine goes well in hand with the egg yolk's runningness and the juices of the burger. It's brimming with energy and gives the body the maximum nutrients needed for the morning.

Yet Alice sneaks up behind Ikumi, "Hey, don't I recognize you from somewhere?"

Ikumi gets startled, "Oh!"

"Oh. You were one of Erina's underlings, right? Oh wow. I haven't seen you around that much lately. I think I get it. She left you to a sting in the wing, didn't she?"

Ikumi gets angry at Alice, "Are you looking to get your ass kicked or something?!"

"Oops! Sorry if that's a sore spot." and she cheerfully returns to her station.

Ikumi calms down and sees what Alice has to serve and is confused. 'Wait. What's the deal with her dish? She got a fried egg, a boiled egg still in the shell and an egg cut in two. Not a lot of effort if you ask me. She's not getting any customers at all. Just what is she thinking?'

Over at Assembly Hall A, Erina presents her egg dish: the Eggs Benedict. They all have a golden shine to them as everyone admires. The maitre d' of the hotel has taken an interest as well.

"Alright so Eggs Benedict. A poached egg with bacon, set on top an English muffin, and covered in a tangy Hollandaise sauce. Americans eat these all the time with Canadian bacon. Well its not exactly what I call new. I'm not expecting a lot of wonder from this." He takes his fork and take a bite. When he tasted it, he was in for a surprise. 'The poached egg is cooked perfectly. And it melts on the tongue. The Hollandaise sauce has just the right acidity. The bacon is perfectly crisped and the muffin has a baked sweetness. These flavors all blend together. Enveloping the tongue.' But he notices something else as he takes a closer look, 'That is not all! This powder sparkling mixed in with the golden yolk. It's mullet roe! She coated the muffin with powdered mullet row! That's brilliant! It's another type of egg.'

In his mind, he is floating in some green space with golden sparkles as his outfit turns gold, 'The sublime saltiness of the mullet row, paired with the egg yolks, creating a new depth of flavooooorr!'

Then he is somewhere in New York City. Passing through the Statue of Liberty and through a cafe that is serving the Eggs Benedict.

'The Queen of Breakfast! She was given that nickname out of a famous shop in New York. And this dish is truly of royal caliber.'

Then he is in some sort of royal throne room in his golden, sparkling suit in a golden Victorian-style hall. On the red carpet in front of the throne, he bows to Erina in a fancy yellow and black outfit.

'This culinary masterwork will make you bow before it.'

Erina smiles as she says on her throne, "Yeah, well that's the point."

Back in reality, everyone tries her Eggs Benedict and have all their clothes turn gold and shine like sunlight with millions of golden sparkles in the air after taking a single bite. They all give her praise and call her, The Queen of Eggs Benedict. And in a short time, she has reached two-hundred plates.

"Erina Nakiri, you have served two-hundred!"

As everyone else is working hard to get two-hundred plates, Takumi and Megumi wonder how Saiba is doing. But when they look at his station, they see a dozen Saibas in one station. Working hard on making two kinds of dishes; the egg tempura and mini souffle omelettes at ridiculous speeds.

"What the hell!?" Takumi says out loud, "He has over a hundred plates already!?"

Megumi looks, 'How is he doing that!? Is he using magic!?'

Not true. Like Koro-sensei in Assassination Classroom, he is moving in super fast speeds that make him appear he made clones of himself if you take a closer look. All twelve of the Saibas are working hard and never missing their rhythm. However, Saiba is reaching his breaking point.
