This new chapter was long overdue, finally had ideas to move the story along. Sorry for the wait. Enjoy!

How are you feeling now Jane?" Maura asked twenty minutes later after Jane came undone against Maura's lips, as she curled up next to her best friend.

"Pretty amazing, what the hell was I thinking, turning away my best friend when I could be feeling this relieved every day. I'm kind of tired though, or else I would love to return the favor."

"There's more time for that when we go on our trip."

Jane smirked, kissing Maura's bare shoulder, "I like the sound of that, I really am glad that you're coming with me."

"I'm glad that I am welcome, I would miss you when you are gone."

"You are always welcome in my life Maura Isles, even when I'm being an inconsiderate idiot."

"I wouldn't exactly call you that, just you're very confused when it comes to your feelings, I could see it during any relationship you've had, you are always so indecisive, even when it comes to me and you. I'm grateful that you finally have your mind open to all the possibilties of our relationship."

Jane raised a brow, "We're in a relationship now?"

Maura nodded shyly, "I mean, only if you want to be, I mean, are you down for that?"

Jane nodded, a wide smirk on her face, "Yes Maura, I like the sound of that. I'm sure anyone we know would say that it's about time."

"Does that mean you want to tell people?" Maura asked, sounding a little too hopeful.

Jane shook her head, "I don't mind making people wonder, maybe be something we ease into, is that alright?"

"I think that should be fine, I'll take you in any way that I can have you, only if you aren't ashamed of me."

"I don't think I could truly be ashamed of you Maura Isles, you're my best friend after all and people already think we're dating anyways."

"Just making sure, I don't want you to be having any more doubts about us, about your feelings."

Jane reached up to stroke Maura's cheek with the thumb. "I'm sorry for any pain or trouble I caused you, caused us. I don't want to lose you, it scares the hell out of me."

"Good thing I'm not going anywhere, I'm all yours Rizzoli."

"Mhm I like the way that sounds, in fact," Jane rolled over so she was straddling Maura's waist, "I don't think I'm that tired anymore right now."

"Oh? And what exactly did you have in mind?"

Jane answered by thrusting her hips hard against Maura's causing the woman to groan out in arousal. Maura grinned as they looked into each other's eyes before Maura cupped the back of Jane's head pulling her in close, kissing the Detective like her life depended on it. Which in all reality it sort of did.

The evening had come and gone, ending it quite a few orgasms. The morning approached and when Jane awakened she thought she'd be curled up to Maura's naked form, but instead she was in bed alone. She frowned getting out of bed, getting dressed for the day, she was starting to think Maura left her in the middle of the night, but soon she heard the water running in the bathroom. She smiled listening to Maura singing a song. Jane thought Maura could be so adorable sometimes, even after being so hot and very sexual. Jane loved being able to see all sides of Maura.

Jane went to go into her kitchen to start making coffee for a pick me up, they were going to have breakfast with her mother and Jane would rather have a nice breakfast date with her best friend. But she figured spending a morning with her mother wouldn't be so bad since her and Maura will be alone together in Maine. Jane was completely in her thoughts she didn't hear Maura approach her, but she felt the woman wrap her arms around her waist from behind, placing a kiss on her shoulder. "Good morning beautiful."

Jane blushed at her words, she hardly ever blushed, but Maura always managed to get her to do different things, she turned around in Maura's arms, "Good morning to you my gorgeous lover."

"I love seeing this, you in a good mood even before you get your coffee intake."

"Yeah well I have you to thank for that, plus I mean there's coffee brewing so there is the scent of that going around. It should be done in a couple of minutes before we have to go eat breakfast with Ma. I'd much rather prefer being alone with you, but figured there's time for that in Maine."

"You would be correct, Maine will be a chance for our relationship to grow, and we won't be interrupted by anyone. Just you and I exploring each other," Maura kissed Jane's jawline.

"I think we explored each other quite a lot last night."

"Well you know what I mean, we get to explore the journey of us being best friends to more than that. Not just intimate partners, but romantic partners as well. Plus no one knows us in Maine so we can just be out there, no hiding, no secrets."

Jane smiled, looking into Maura's eyes, "You are okay though about us not exactly being open here in Boston, I just... I don't want that to put a strain on our relationship."

"Jane I understand that you're going to take some time to be out and as long as we're honest with each other, all the coming out can be put on the back burner for now. Let's just focus on figuring things out on our own first."

"Thanks for being so understanding, I know it isn't exactly fair to you."

"Why rush things and have you be uncomfortable around everyone... although I'm sure your mother already knows."

"I'm uncomfortable around her all the time anyways, she truly does have this sixth sense things going on," Jane shrugged. "But we should probably get rid of the evidence of our good time," Jane brushed the hair away from Maura's neck, her thumb running over the surface where she left a mark. "I didn't even notice I left that."

"You left a lot more than you think. But the rest isn't exactly exposed for the view of others."

"I guess I gotten a little carried away, sorry."

"Don't be it's alright, plus it doesn't help with my skin being as delicate as it is."

"I love how soft your skin is though," Jane admits, letting her hand run down Maura's arm before leaning into her, whispering in her ear. "And to think I get to be the one enjoying you, being the only who touching you, making you feel so good," Jane let her tongue run against the back of Maura's ear, causing the girl to whimper out in pleasure.

"Jane, as much as I want to enjoy this maybe we should go now, your mother might get suspicious the longer we aren't at my house."

"My mother really needs a life," Jane shook her head, going to pour coffee in two thermoses. "To us," she lifted up hers and Maura nodded, tapping the thermos together.

"To us," Maura smiled before going to slip on her shoes. Jane following suit before they left her apartment and Maura drove them to her house. Jane's hand resting on Maura's knee the whole ride over, getting in their alone time before having breakfast with Angela where they would try to keep this discreet, as hard as that might be. All Jane wanted to do was take Maura up to her bedroom and not leave until absolutely necessary. But she knew that couldn't happen right now.

Soon they arrived to Maura's house, Maura shut off her car and looked over to Jane, leaning over to give Jane a kiss. Jane returned the kiss deepening it a bit before pulling away. "What was that for?"

"Figured I'd get my last kiss in before we go into hiding us," Maura tucked her hair behind her ear, before taking out her compact and covering the very noticeable mark Jane left behind.

"Yeah, I'll be awaiting for the next time we do that again," Jane leaned over kissing Maura's cheek before grabbing her thermos and leaving the car, Maura soon following.

They got inside and was welcomed with a warm crisp smell of breakfast. Jane went into the kitchen, greeting her mother. "Ma, this smells amazing," Jane went to grab a piece of bacon and Angela slapped her hand away causing Maura to laugh at their interaction.

"Now don't you be greedy, we have guests and I don't want your dirty hands touching any food before it's ready."

Jane stopped and looked at her mother, "What do you mean we have guests? Maura, did you know about this?" she turned to her best friend who looked surprised as she did.

"She never informed me of any guests, who's joining us this morning Angela?" Maura asked and her question was answered by Tommy Rizzoli who walked into the kitchen, trying to grab a piece of bacon, getting a handslap like Jane did previously.

"Hey Janie, Maura," he greeted them both with smile. "I came over with TJ, Frankie's actually with him right now insisted he'd help get him out of the car."

"I take it that means Lydia isn't here?" Jane asked and Angela scoffed.

"Now why on Earth would I invite Lydia, she's not exactly part of this family."

"Did you want me to help set up the playpen?" Maura offered and Tommy nodded.

"Sure why not Maura, was going to set it up in the dining room. Did you know he's almost able to sit in a booster chair at the table, almost being able to sit all on his own," Tommy explained as they both walked away, they both had insights that Jane wasn't exactly happy with the surprise and it was going to be discussed.

"Ma, so why all the surprise guests joining us for breakfast, thought it was just going to be you Maura and me."

"Well I was thinking how depressed you've been lately and thought you'd like to see your family before you travel off to Maine. Tommy actually had time off and was taking care of TJ for the week. Hope you wouldn't be so upset."

"I'm not upset Ma, just surprised and we all know how I hate surprises."

"You really need to lighten up some Janie."

"You shouldn't tell a depressed person to lighten up, it's not exactly easy to just do so."

"Maybe you should get it checked out, see a shrink or something."

"The last thing I need is someone telling me how I need to be feeling, I already have you for that," Jane sat on the stool and drank her coffee. "I'm surprised that you didn't invite Korsak and Kiki over, I always thought of Korsak as part of the family."

"Korsak has his own family in a way now, seems pretty content on having Kiki in his life, I did invite him over though, said he had plans," Angela shrugged, Jane could hear the sound of disappointment in her mother's voice.

"You sure you aren't depressed Ma?"

"Why would I be depressed?" Angela turned to shut off the stove, "Come on help me bring breakfast to the table."

"The guy you like is happy with someone else. It's understandable Ma," Jane rested her hand on her shoulder. "I've come to realize being honest to someone you care about goes a long way," Jane glanced over at Maura for a moment, who happened to look up and smile back.

"So I take it you and Maura had a nice meaningful talk?"

"Yes, we did, she's coming to Maine with me. It'll be a great way to work on our friendship."

"Amongst other things I bet," Angela smirked.

"I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Trust me honey I notice when you two give each other that look of longing, I feel as if sometimes I'll leave you two alone and you'll end up jumping each other's bones. But pretend if you must that I don't see what's going on between the two of you."

"I'm not pretending anything Ma, if anything it's you and Korsak that will end up, as you put it jumping each other's bones, he's just pretty oblivious and he calls himself a detective. One day he's going to catch on to these feelings you've been suppressing for him."

"I guess we can both agree to disagree then," Angela shrugged and Jane grabbed the plate of pancakes and walked over to the dining room.

Maura and Tommy were struggling to put the play pen together, "Why is this so damn difficult?" Tommy cursed, and Angela scolded him for his language. TJ was growing fussy in Frankie's arms.

"Here I'll get it," Jane huffed, putting the food down on the table and going to help, fixing it in a few seconds. "See it's just that simple," she shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Well Janie I'm quite impressed." Tommy smirked at his sister, before helping Maura off of the ground. Frankie placed TJ in the constructed playpen and Tommy handed the baby his bottle. "Good TJ, drink it up so you can be nice and strong like your daddy."

"No offense Tommy, but you're not exactly the strongest person," Jane teased, elbowing him in the side.

"Ouch Jane, what was that for?" Tommy frowned.

"I think you know," Jane took him by the arm, leading him into the kitchen. "You were too distracted by Maura's cleavage to do something you've done a hundred of times. Fixing the playpen wasn't hard it's trying to control your boylike hormones."

"Can you blame me Jane? Honestly you look at Maura and tell me you aren't curious of what lies underneath her clothes."

"I'm not curious Tommy, I swear you're so immature sometimes. Don't talk about Maura in that way in my presence, you understand?"

"Yeah I'm immature, you're the one being defensive over my wandering eye. Maura looks incredible and we both know it. You really need to lighten up, not like you're brave enough to make a move."

"I'm not even going dignify that with a response," Jane rolled her eyes before going to join everyone at the table, sitting down next to Maura. Tommy sitting on the other side of the table beside Angela and Frankie, a smirk on his face.

"What's that all about Jane?" Maura asked.

Jane just shrugged. "Tommy just being Tommy." Jane sort of wanted to prove to Tommy that she was brave enough to make a move, but she felt insecure about doing so in front of the family when things were still fresh and new, but what she wouldn't give to knock that stupid smirk off of his face.

Oh Tommy being his usual annoying self, according to Jane. Rizzles is progressing into a couple and I couldn't be happier. They can be so hot and adorable at the same time, it's kind of crazy but it just works. Can't wait for their trip to Maine. And Angela is definitely struggling with Korsak and Kiki being together, wish it would have happened in the show, might be biased because it was a thing in the books and they had chemistry in the show too, but this isn't a story about Angela as a main character it's about our Rizzles babes and their journey together. Your kind words give me motivation to continue, let me know if you have any ideas of what to do with Rizzles in the future.
