Continuous support of this story means a lot considering this was a spur of the moment thought when I started it with no direction of where it's going. But our ladies are heading to Maine, hope this chapter brings a smile to your face.
Once Tommy and TJ were gone leaving the two women alone, Jane picked Maura up in her arms and laid her down onto the couch, their lips never leaving each other. Maura wrapped her legs around Jane's waist pulling her close, groaning as Jane rolled her hips down against hers. Maura pulled away from Jane's lips for a moment, "Are you sure the couch is the best place for our sexual encounter?"
"I don't really want to carry you up the stairs, so much effort," Jane told her before pushing Maura's hair out of the way, planting kisses against her jawline and neck. Maura tilted her head back giving Jane more access.
"Fine, but only because you're so good at that," she jerked her hips forward as Jane's mouth started nipping at her ear. "Shit..." Maura cursed causing Jane to smirk widely.
"Love when I can get you to curse, it's so sexy on you. Especially knowing how much I can turn you on in a matter of seconds," Jane whispered in her ear, dragging her tongue slowly against the back of her lover's ear.
"Fuck... me," Maura felt incredibly turned on in this moment, a throbbing in between her legs. Jane moved her hand in between Maura's legs, feeling the heat and the intense throbbing.
"God I love the effect I have on you."
"More than you'll ever know Jane," Maura whispered as Jane rolled the palm of her hand against Maura's throbbing core. Maura was weak already, after Jane entered her it was only a few moments until she came undone. Her body shaking in pleasure as Jane helped her ride out her orgasm.
"Holy shit," Jane licked her lips after a few moments.
"You can surely say that again," Maura smiled, out of breath. "I really think that I need to go freshen up."
Jane rested her hand on Maura's arm as she tried to get up. "Hey, what's the rush? Let's just stay and enjoy this for a moment."
"There's enough time for enjoying more moments like these in Maine. We really should get a move on if we want to leave soon."
"Alright, if you insist," Jane shrugged, sitting up on the couch, running fingers through her hair as Maura got off of the couch and headed upstairs. Jane sighed, just sitting there until Maura came down thirty minutes later, luggage in hands, looking absolutely flawless.
"So I was thinking we can head over to yours, get your luggage and depart."
Jane nodded, getting up, standing in front of Maura, "You look incredible, as always, and you're all mine."
"A little possessive are we?"
"Maybe just a little," Jane responded, resting her hands on Maura's hips. "But can you blame me?"
"I suppose that I can't blame you, just knowing how much you want me gives me great joy. Never stop wanting me, alright?"
Jane smirked, "I think I can manage that," she leaned down to kiss her best friend's cheek, before moving away and helping Maura with her bags as they left her house and walked to the car. "This trip is going to be so much better since you're tagging along, thanks for coming with me."
"Why do I have this feeling that you're going to be thanking me a lot?" Maura asked as she put her luggage in the back seat.
"That's not a bad thing, is it?"
"Not even in the slightest," Maura responded as they got into the car and headed towards Jane's place.
"So I'll be right out in a moment," Jane told Maura as they pulled up to her apartment.
"And I'll be here," Maura smiled watching her leave and go inside. Maura pulled out her phone and called the Bnb up in Maine she reserved for when she planned on joining this trip.
"Thanks for calling the Newcastle Inn, how may I be of assistance."
"Hello, yes, this is Doctor Maura Isles, I made a reservation for two this weekend and we are heading up a day earlier than planned, and was wondering if we could extend our stay out for this evening as well."
"I'll see what I can do, please hold for a moment," the man at the counter spoke, becoming quiet for a few minutes. "You're in luck we have a room empty for tonight and we can have you there for the whole weekend, as your current room is occupied for tonight. I'll add the extra night to your bill at the end of your stay."
"Thanks, it means a lot. We'll be checking in within a few hours."
"Happy to do business with you Doctor Isles. Have a good afternoon," he responded before hanging up, just in time for Jane to come back to the car, luggage in her hands tossing them in the back seat before getting back in the front, Jane decided she would let Maura drive since she knew the woman probably had a place ready that they were going to stay at. Jane's plan was to just stop at a hotel in Maine that looked nice, Maura always put more thought into things. Jane was sure she'd enjoy her weekend trip either way.
"Ready to get this show on the road?" Jane asked, looking over at Maura with a smile who reached over to take her hand in hers, squeezing their fingers.
"Our first getaway as a couple, ready and definitely excited."
"You know what? I really like you calling us that."
"A couple?" Maura asked and Jane nodded with a smile, before leaning over to give her a kiss.
"Exactly," she went to turn on the radio to find something to listen to.
"Wait, Jane go back to that other channel?"
"The smooth jazz channel? Wouldn't you rather listen to something to I don't know, not put you to sleep at the wheel?"
"There's nothing wrong with jazz and driving, it keeps me calm and relaxed and that's very important when behind the wheel to prevent road rage of any sort."
"Yeah because you totally have road rage tendencies to keep in check," Jane teased.
"Oh you shut it," Maura gave her head a shake, nudging Jane in the side.
"Okay, but if this music starts to make you tired I get to say I told you so."
"Whatever you say Jane. I know what I'm capable of listening to while in the car."
"I'll go ahead and believe you."
"Don't make me turn this car around Jane."
"Okay now you're starting to sound like Ma when I was younger."
Maura looked out onto the road, "I wouldn't have to be that bossy if you would just relax and let me have a handle on things."
"Fine, fine, but just to make sure, we're not fighting, are we?" Jane decided to ask, thinking their banter became less of a banter and more of an argument.
"No, of course we're not fighting, I didn't mean to make it seem like I was upset, my apologies. Although I don't like being referred to as sounding like your mother, definitely puts a damper on things."
"And for that I'm sorry, I guess I'm just nervous about our weekend away."
Maura nodded her head in agreement, "Yeah, I understand that, but we really shouldn't be nervous, we've taken trips before and things were fine, although we weren't romantically involved at the time, but I'd like to think things wouldn't change too much. If anything we're making this change too awkward, but I'm sure this trip is what we need to connect on a much deeper level, you know?"
Jane rested her hand on Maura's leg, giving it a squeeze, "I'll try to be less awkward about the whole thing, as long as I'm with you I should have nothing to worry about."
"My thoughts exactly," Maura gave Jane a smiled before focusing back on the road, grateful that things were changing between them.
