Hello! sorry for the delay Stranger Things had taken priority over my life and my thoughts the last two months, it has been hard to focus on much else. Here's the long awaited chapter for this story, I'm not gone I promise.

"Detective Jane Rizzoli as I live and breathe, was starting to think you and the Doc abandoned us for good," Korsak greeted Jane with a cup of coffee and some donuts. "It's good that you actually had gotten away though."

"Part of me never wanted to leave, but my brother needs help, so it seems like I've come back right on time."

"Uh yeah... about that, I know how much you want to work your brother's case, but since he's your family..."

"I am never biased on my cases."

"Unfortunately this isn't your case Jane, I hate to be the bad guy... that also means that well... Maura won't be able to help either, there's some other M.E. doing the autopsy, he has probably started already."

Jane rolled her eyes, "God, this is such bullshit," she started to walk out of the bullpen.

"Jane, where are you going?"

"Downstairs to see Doctor Isles," she responded as if it wasn't obvious to where she was going. Once she got downstairs she entered Maura's office, who was looking out of the window in her office to the autopsy room. "Maura, what are you doing?"

Maura jumped slightly, "Jane, you startled me. I'm trying to watch the autopsy since I can't go in there. I've been waiting for him to move, I'm trying to get a look at the victim's stomach content."

"And how exactly are you supposed to know what's the exact stomach content if you aren't in there?" Jane placed her hands on her hips. "Korsak doesn't want me involved. It's ridiculous I should be able to help. My brother needs me more than ever."

Maura looked at Jane for a moment sensing her frustration before she grabbed her paper coffee cup from the desk. "I'll be right back."

"Maura, that's my coffee," Jane whined as she watched her girlfriend leave the room and enter the autopsy room slightly. She talked to the M.E. for a moment, flashing a smile as she placed the coffee cup on the table letting him know that he could take it if he so pleased.

Maura came back tapping away on her computer for a moment, luckily there was a camera system which allowed whatever happened in the autopsy room to show up on her computer. "Now all we need is for him to move away so I can get a glimpse at any paperwork he has filled out." Whispering softly at the screen for him to move, smiling once he did. "Aah here we go now," she printed something out before turning to Jane. "I'll be right back," Maura disappeared for a few minutes before coming back. "Since I can't help Frankie out, here's hoping that Susie can." Maura sat down at her desk, "Now all we have to do is wait."

Jane scoffed at the thought of waiting and not being able to do a damn thing. She moved to sit down on Maura's uncomfortable office couch, stretching out her legs. "I feel like I can't be a detective right now. I'm really worried for him Maur."

"I know you are sweetie, we just have to remember that Susie, Nina and Korsak have a handle on it. They are some of the best out there." Maura tried to think of something to get Jane's mind off of this whole thing, even for just a moment. After a minute passed with Maura in her thoughts, she pushed herself out of her chair behind her desk and walked over to her office window and closed the blinds before shutting her office door and locking it. She moved to sit right next to her partner, she placed her hand on Jane's knee. "I think that you need some sort of distraction."

"I'm not sure how distracted I can become."

"Well we can always figure something out," Maura shifted slightly, to rest her hands on Jane's shoulders. "This whole situation seems to have you pretty tense."

"Of course I'm tense Maura. Part of me wishes that we stayed at Maine."

"If we did that, you would have wanted to come home as soon as you heard about Frankie."

"True, why is it that you know me so well?"

"Years of getting to be your friend and observing you," she massaged Jane's shoulders, feeling her sigh in front of her. She did this for a couple of minutes, before she ran her hands down the front of Jane's chest, fingers brushing gently against Jane's breasts.

Chills ran up Jane's spine, "Maura, I don't think this is the best place to be doing this."

"Well the door is locked, blinds drawn, and you have nothing else to do, if you want me to stop though, I will."

Jane gave her head a shake, "No, don't stop, just stating a fact, you know I can't ever tire of your hands being on me," she gasped as Maura rolled her thumbs against Jane's nipples. "Shit," she groaned. "Go lower."

"You sure?"

"Oh honey I'm positive," she muttered, she felt all the tension start to fade away, especially as Maura's hand moved down to rub against her covered crotch. Jane closed her eyes, gasped as Maura applied pressure. "Goddammit." She turned around and pinned Maura down on the couch. "I'm so hot for you right now," she lowered her head down to pepper kisses down Maura's neck, all while Maura's knee lifted to grind against Jane. Jane wasn't sure if having sex in Maura's office was a good idea, but this moment in time she could care less, she was addicted and she didn't want this arousal to go to waste. She lifted Maura's dress up so she could remove her panties, Jane pressed her palm against Maura, feeling her twitch. "Seems like you're pretty hot for me too," Jane undid her own pants, unbuttoning them and pulling down her pants and underwear in one go.

She moved her position so their entrances could meet, they started their movements slow, before they picked up momentum, they tried to keep their grunts, moans and groans quiet.

Minutes passed by before they both came undone, not being quiet at all once those orgasms took over. They laid there for a moment to catch their breath before they put their removed clothes back on, Maura brushed the hair out of Jane's face. "I find it quite amusing how I start by focusing on you and then you take over so we're both equally pleased."

"I can't help it, plus figured get us both satisfied just in case we were needed for actual work."

"You realize that we just had sex in my office?" Maura asked, innocently but a smirk on her face.

Jane glanced around her surroundings, fake gasping. "What? No way."

Her reaction made Maura give Jane a shove. "Oh shut up."

She smirked, closing the gap and kissing Maura hard, the kiss only lasted for a few seconds before there was a knock on Maura's office door. Jane groaned out in frustration, "You wanna get that?"

Maura nodded, running her fingers through Jane's hair and then hers as she went to open the door. "Oh hello Kent, is everything okay out there?"

"Yeah, things are going alright, I heard screaming and then it got quiet all of a sudden, making sure that nothing happened to you."

Kent's words made her cheeks flush, embarrassed that someone did hear them, more embarrassed that he came to check on her. "Oh yes, everything is just fine, Detective Rizzoli and I were just... uh..."

Jane got up from the couch, needing to save Maura from hyperventilating for trying to come up with a lie. "There was a rodent that came out of nowhere, freaked us out, that's all."

"A rodent? In Doctor Isles' spotless office?" Kent eyed her, and Jane nodded. "Alright, anyways, I'm afraid that we haven't met yet, I'm Kent Drake, Doctor Isles' M.E. assistant."

"Like I said it came out of nowhere, one wouldn't expect to see a rat in her office. I'm Detective Jane Rizzoli, Frankie's older sister."

Kent nodded, "Oh, I sort of see the resemblance, sorry about everything that is going on with him by the way."

"Us Rizzolis' are pretty tough, just ask anyone. It does suck that it's happening to him, he doesn't deserve this."

"I agree, well I should be getting back to helping Susie with that case. It was very nice meeting your acquaintance," he flashed a warm smile, staring at her for another moment, until Maura coughed to break his trance. His cheeks flushed, "Yeah well... see you both around," he spoke hesitantly before turning on his heel and heading down the corridor. Maura closed the door and locked it again once he was gone.

"Does he seem a little odd to you?" Jane asked, eyebrow raised.

"Pretty sure he was staring at your chest," Maura frowned.

"There's honestly not much to see, but yeah... want me to go set him straight?"

"And have news spread around the office and the whole BPD that we're together before you open up to your mother and people we're actually close to? We can set him straight later. If he does it again I will let him know how inappropriate it is though."

"Can I be there when you do? You putting people in their place when they need to be put there is a total turn on."

"You really should write a list or something about whatever I do that turns you on. It seems like it's going to be a pretty long list," Maura smirked and Jane nodded her head in agreement and leaned down to kiss her girlfriend softly.

Hope this chapter was worth the wait, I'm trying to get better at updating this. Kent made his first appearance, and at least alone time with Maura gets Jane's mind off of the stressful shit. Thoughts and comments are welcome as always. Until next time my friends.
