Chapter 19: Saving Azmuth
The pirates now dragged the treasure filled chests to their boats. Suddenly, the ship emerged from around the corner. "Vilgax! Look! The ship!" Argit called. Vilgax opened his spyscope and looked at the ship. There was nobody on board and it was turning towards them. "It's coming straight for us!" Argit called. "It's the ghost of Captain Flinty!" Liam whimpered. "He's coming to kill us!" Solid Plugg cried. All the pirates screamed and ran for their lives. But Vilgax stayed, knowing it was a trick. "Hawkins!"
Ben, Kai, Gwen, Kevin and Zed peeked up from the front. Just then, they saw Azmuth and Zennith hanging from the tree. "Head for those cliffs!" Ben called. "Head for the cliffs, Squire!" Myaxx called. Rook steered the ship towards the cliffs while Blukig and Driba ran to get a net.
Meanwhile, Vilgax tracked down his cowering crew. "Get back there, you yellow-bellied bilge rats! I'm not losing that treasure now!" With that, the crew hustled back to the beach.
After getting the net, Myaxx, Blukig and Driba started to lower it to catch Azmuth and Zennith. "We're coming, Captain Azmuth!" Ben called as the ship sailed directly under the 2 Galvans. By then, Azmuth's rope was about to snap. "Au revoir, my love." Zennith said as the rope finally broke and the 2 Galvans fell. But they didn't fall into the net. They fell right in front of the ship. Gwen and Kevin ran to check, and to their surprise, JT and Cash had caught Azmuth and Zennith! "JT, you fool! We're heroes! We saved the captain and the girl!" Cash cheered. "Well, it was too late to save the story." JT joked. They both laughed at that. "Welcome aboard, Captain Azmuth." Ben greeted with a salute. "And welcome to you as well, Lady Zennith." Myaxx greeted.
