Toadette hummed as she skipped by the Coconut Mall, spotting Toadsworth and King Bob-omb talking with each other outside the Coconut Cafe as Toadette leaned on the tropical palm tree, listening onto their conversation.
"...And so that's why I have the cane." Toadsworth stated as he placed both of his hands on his cane. "It was a great festivus. A festivus for all the Toads in the Mushroom Kingdom."
King Bob-omb murmured as he sipped his mocca. "So I see. I personally wouldn't be caught dead with those." He remarked, placing his mocca down.
"Oh come now, man, can't you see that it would be incredibly helpful?" Toadsworth responded as he shook his cane about. "I mean, I use it all the time to hit Toads and berate them. It's pretty handy to have around."
King Bob-omb simply shrugged as he folded his arms together. "Well it could be helpful, but I personally wouldn't have a need for it. I do have legs, after all."
"True, that is true." Toadsworth remarked as he nodded his head. "And on that note, let me tell you the time I used my cane to-"
"What are ya talking about?" Toadette giggled as she ran up to the table, her hands on her face and her elbows on the table.
King Bob-omb and Toadsworth both jumped up as they faced Toadette, who giggled in response as she playfully stuck her tongue out.
"How long... were you here?" King Bob-omb asked as he moved his right, orb shaped hand around.
"...Long enough to get you this!" Toadette remarked as she pulled a cane out from her butt, bonking King Bob-omb on the head as she then ran off towards the west, giggling as she dashed through the outdoor garden.
King Bob-omb growled as he rubbed his head injuring, turning to Toadsworth as he pulled out a walkie talkie. "If you excuse me." He then began chasing after Toadette, calling over his walkie talkie, "Calling all cops! Get the young, pink capped mushroom girl!"
And then Toadette was chased all over the mall by Pianta cops in addition to King Bob-omb, with Toadette managing to make them trip and fall by using her cane.
