"Eeeeeeeek! No, Odie! I don't have money!" I screamed as I waved my hands.
"Huh? Why Odie didn't move? Why he had a gun and pointed it at you? Wait! Is he going to kill you?!" X shocked.
"Yeah but I hacked his DNA after I discovered his memories with the super-computer. I went deeeeepeeer into his mind. After I knew that he's a serial killer, I put a 'don't kill the innocents, hunters and me' virus. As a result, he did the mannequin challenge," I justified my explanation to everyone as I kicked Odie's wiener. "See! It's safe."
"Wah! Papa Bear, That's not Odie's real body!" Tyro gasped.
"Oops! Um… Don't tell the real owner please," I said.
To tell you the truth… I deleted his AI completely before I already saved his memories and sent it to H&R Alliance to judge his actions. They said that they gave them an execution immediately.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"Glad you're safe. Since real Korijo and the others are alive as AIs, we need to figure out how can we find their original bodies. The only choice they have is to give reploid bodies. They can't return to their human forms after they were trapped in the computer," Zero wondered as he folded his arms on his chest.
"Oh! You're right. I hope they won't be upset about what happened. Do you have any suggestions, Dr. Angelo?" X asked.
"Well, I want to see them for myself first. I will do my best for them," I smiled.
As we headed to Odie's laboratory, I checked on the computer and witnessed the human victims' AIs. Moreover, I discovered that the reploid victims' AIs and restored them from the 'recycle bin' icon.
The victims were so lucky that they survived. The problem was… how can they return to their original bodies. The hunters investigated the corpses that Odette used. They found out that the bodies came from the victims. Not only that, Tyro and I sensed strong honkai energy in them. It was a big no-no because the honkai energy can corrupt the victims' minds and possess their bodies as their puppets.
One week later, my conclusion was that I used the Herrscher core of Existence(Formerly, Herrscher Core of Death) to revive the victims with their original bodies and their causes of deaths have vanished to their memories.
It was a selfish wish but I gave them a second chance to live. If they died, I can't revive them again. So, they needed to be extra careful.
If you're curious about what the heck is going on, let me tell you.
The new virus that can corrupt humans and reploids is called the Honkai or Honkai virus. It came from the aliens in other dimensions. The person who discovered and released them to the world was Sigma.
He planned to release the Honkai before the Red Alert Syndicate and was killed by X, Zero, and Axl.
Commander Signas, the H&R Alliances and I did some research about the Honkai. It turned out that the honkai were spread in 25% to the far locations. The S-rank hunters, human scientists and I explored the areas and studied the Honkai. We destroyed them but a few hunters and scientists were infected with white skins and pink veins. Some of them became zombies or monsters. Even, the honkai was the same as maverick virus but stronger.
We had no choice but to eliminate the infected and sealed the locations with honkai threats by the large, unbreakable barriers that I created so that no one will enter.
While the Honkai was a serious case, I decided to explore the world with my daughter, Tyro to the other world that Sigma mentioned.
Thus, I met Welt Yang, the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy. He looked very hot but I was sooooo shocked because he was in his 50's. /0o0\
At first, he was secretive about discussing the Honkai and well-aware that the scientists might use them in a bad way. When I explained the Honkai situation in my world, ideas on how to stop them, and Tyro's origins, he can help us.
He told me about the information about the Honkai and their powerful beings called the Herrschers. The only solution to stop the Honkai was the powerful female warriors, infused with Honkai Energy called Valkyries. They can eliminate the honkai easily. However, they were at risk of losing their lives not only in battle but within themselves as well.
After I learned about Honkai and Valkyries, I headed home and created projects for preventing Honkai threats. I created Honkai Immunity Data or HID for reploids and hunters, Suscitarins for humans, weapons, EXP chips for hunters to slay honkai creatures, and new reploids with the strong will of the protectors. I did put some adjustments and tested them by myself, just to be safe.
Therefore, I gave the successful projects to the hunters and the government as they were available to fight honkai. It took two years as they fought the strong foes. Some of them won and survived. Some of them were murdered and quitted. In the end, the first worst Honkai Hunt was over… Until Sigma revived mavericks with Honkai and the Herrscher core of Existence as he created the 2nd Honkai Hunt… Way worse than the First Honkai Hunt. Bullshit! DX
Oh well! At least, Tyro killed him and stole the Herrscher of Existence without hesitation. If Sigma was still alive and used the core, he used to revive mavericks and honkai with a victory of demon king and we're fucked. Since we had it, I can use the core to revive allies and victims.
After Sigma got died FOR REAL, H&R Alliance and I decided to send Honkai Hunt with the help of S-rank maverick hunters and Valkyries. Both reploids and humans with excellent combat skills and brave souls were available to join. Especially, X, Zero, and Axl accepted the mission with Tyro's support. We invented the High Barrier Defense devices. They were like Tyro's barriers but they needed to charge it with electricity.
Seven months later…
The Honkai hunt had more successful missions and fewer deaths. All thanks to the new equipment, High Barrier Defense devices, and the talents of warriors, both hunters, and Valkyries. There were still 50% honkai but we can handle them. As long as we needed to check their conditions, both physical, mental, and emotional healths. We can send them short vacations or visit a doctor for a medical check-up.
As for X, Zero, Axl, and Tyro, their team was supreme perfection as they fought the most high-level Honkai and mavericks. Sometimes, they went on a mission in pairs or solo. While X and Zero went on different missions, Axl and Tyro did the same as they got along. Not just getting along, both of them have feelings for each other. Although, they were too shy to admit it and focus too much on their duties.
Oh my goodness! I know they were adults but hiding their feelings took too long. If they can't admit it, they will lose their chances. DX
