"X, I know that I missed your laundry day but it is necessary to wear a cosplay to a simple dinner."

"Well, I brought Tyro's cosplay and it's not that bad. Honestly, though, this Japanese gentleman costume is pretty neat. Is it Ayato Kamisato?" X wore an Ayato cosplay and turned himself around.

I folded my arms. "Um… You do know how popular Ayato is in the game?" I raised a brow.

"No? How popular is he-"

"Oh my god! Is that Ayato-sama?!"

"You're right! He's going to appear soon in GI!"

"Let's get him to get our luck on wishes!"

"AAAAAAAAAAH! ZERO, HELP MEEEEEE!"

X was screaming and chased by the fangirls inside the mall.

Yes, X and I were inside the Giga Mall for dinner but X forgot his laundry because he was too busy on his job. Poor guy. He worked so hard for years. After X hid in the men's bathroom and the girls still surrounded it, the men passed through and felt awkward that they thought girls were perverts or waiting for a handsome celebrity.

I rushed to the clothing store and bought new clothes for X.

"Move out of the way! I need to pee!" I pushed the girls gently and went inside the bathroom.

A few minutes later, X and I went out of the bathroom as the girls didn't recognize X as Ayato. They ignored us and stayed in the bathroom. We handed to the restaurant as we met up with Axl.

"Yo! X, Zero! What's up?!" he greeted us happily.

"Well, we can explain inside," X said as we all entered the restaurant. We found the table and sat on the chairs. We explained to him about X's cosplay incident.

Axl laughed. "I can't believe the girls' gone nuts for Ayato. Well, Tyro is excited to roll for him."

"Yeah… Hey, Zero! Thanks for the clothes. I will repay you today," X thanked as he was going to get his wallet.

"No-no, you don't give me the money to me. How about you treat me to a meal instead," I chuckled.

"Alright, just pick the meals that you like," X smiled.

While we ordered our meals on the menu, I noticed Axl was quiet… Too quiet as he rested his head on the table and tapped his finger on it.

"Calling to Axl? What's up?" I asked.

"Hmm?" Axl rose his head up. "Well… Have you ever felt weird when you're with someone?"

"Huh? How weird?" I raised a brow.

"Like beating heart and felt happy with someone," Axl blushed.

"Ooooooooh! Axl, don't tell me you're in love? It's too soon," X was surprised.

"Nani?! What?! Am I in love?!" Axl was shocked as his face blushed like a tomato.

I nodded. "Yup. Just like I felt the same way as Iris and I. Guess your lady luck arrives in your life. I mean, you befriended the girls in MH HQ but you weren't interested in relationships. Only video games, fighting, and other stuff that a teenager will do."

"I agreed. I thought Cinnamon or Palette will be your love interests but they treated you like a big brother," X added.

"True. I'm guessing she's way more different from them. Although we knew each other for seven months. I wasn't sure about my feelings for her," Axl blushed as he scratched his head.

"It's okay. Axl, you can take your time but you need to tell her soon. In my past relationship, Iris was too shy to tell me her feelings. Since she didn't do it, then, I did it for her and we ended up as a couple.

Sometimes, it's scary to tell your feelings for her and she might reject or accept it. At least, you say it without thinking too much. If you get rejected, you can be yourself again. If you get accepted, be happy with your feelings and spend some quality time with her," I gave my advice to him.

"Zero, is it okay to tell him about Iris?" X asked worriedly.

"I know that she wasn't here with us but I'm glad that I confessed my feelings for her," I sighed. "If I didn't, I won't reach out to her."

"Whoooaaa… You're right, Zero. Thanks, I'll go to confess her when we have free time," Axl smiled.

"And go on a secret date," I teased as I wiggled my brows.

X gasped and hit me on my shoulder playfully. "Zero! When you become a cupid?"

"What? There's nothing wrong about helping Axl's love life," I pouted.

All of us laughed as our orders arrived and we ate dinner.

It was a long time since I remembered Iris. After her death, I was depressed and focused on my missions as a hunter. I was not interested in other relationships because I didn't want to repeat the tragedy.

Layer once confessed her feelings to me after the Jakob Project but I apologized and rejected her. I told her that we can be friends and find someone better than me. In the end, she did as she was happy to be with someone else.

I was relieved that she respected my decision. Being single wasn't bad but my heart was healing.

Maybe I should go to Iris' grave and give a bouquet of irises. Also, Colonel.
