I covered my mouth as I coughed heavily.

"Noir, do you need water and update your anti-virus chip?" Weiss rubbed my back.

"No need... I'll be fine. More importantly, the Pysnc Machine is complete," I glanced at the Psycn Machine with the life support capsule for myself that Weiss and I built.

"We created this because you want to dream and travel into a different world with physical contact," Weiss guessed.

"Yeah. Still and all, it's a very different from AI: Sonmium Files, Sword Art Online, and the song 'Shelter' by Porter Robinson and Madeon," I touched the life support capsule. "It doesn't heal my virus but I can sleep peacefully in the Sonmium World... Weiss, you can visit me always if you want to. Promise that you need to take your anti-virus every day," I reminded him.

Weiss had the Honkai virus because of me. I blamed myself. Yet, he didn't care anyway as long as he stayed with me to the bittersweet end. I promised him that we spend our lives together. He used to be deadly serious and cold. Now, he was so warm, fuzzy and kind as his true self.

"Of course... Is it alright for you that Tyro and Dr. Angelo visit us here?" Weiss asked with concern.

I smiled. "Yup! Tyro is a Honkai. Dr. Angelo has the highest immunity. So, you don't need to worry about it."

"I see... Well then. I was going to ask their blessings," Weiss said.

"Blessings?" I raised a brow.

Weiss kneeled as he took out a small box. As he opened it, I gasped that it was two, golden rings. Our names written on them.

"Will you marry me, Noir?" Weiss asked me with a smile.

"Why did you ask?! Of course, I will marry you forever!" I cheered as I hugged him heartily. Even we can't get married on the outside world, we still accepted our everlasting love.

After I let him go, we exchanged our rings and put them on our ring fingers. We smiled at each other and shared a kiss.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"

Suddenly, we heard horrendous screams from the speakers.

"What was that?!" Weiss was shocked.

I activated my computer and watched from the security cameras. I saw... the killings. The soldiers murdered the patients who were cured... The staff members... and our friends!

"No! This is not happening!" I rushed to the door and opened it. I ran outside to see if it was a nightmare.

"Noir! Wait!" Weiss wanted to stop me but he only followed me.

We made it to the main hall... We were too late to save everyone. All of them... both humans and reploids in the Cure Team were slaughtered with slices and gunshots. Blood splattered everywhere.

Then, we heard the sinister laugh.

"Dr. Noir, Maverick Hunter Weiss, It's nice to see you again."

When I glared at him, the man who murdered them was Professor Vanzo, Mrs. Violette's former lover.

"Vanzo, why the fuck did you kill them?! They didn't do anything to you!" I shouted furiously.

"True but I want to remove witnesses because I'm here to hunt you down, Herrscher of Creation!" Vanzo smirked.

"Huh?" Weiss was confused that he knew that I wasn't the Herrscher of Creation. However, he kept quiet as he promised me and Dr. Angelo not to tell everyone about Tyro.

"Sir, are we going to seize fire?" the soldier asked.

Vanzo rose his hand to halt. "I'm going to take this. Killing the owner first and then, retrieve the Herrscher core," he unleashed his gun as he... pointed at Weiss.
