When Himiko met Izuku
When this was all over, they'd be a family again. That's what her mommy and daddy had told her.
Himiko Toga knew, contrary to what many thought, that something was not 'right' with her. Her fascination with blood and her desire to ingest it what scary, but it helped her see and think clearly. Plus, whenever she had some blood, she got to see life through the other person's eyes; could anyone fault her for wanting to keep doing that?
Well, her parents apparently could; as after she had brought them a hurt bird, whose blood she had sapped up a little of to see what was wrong with it, they had tossed the bird into the garbage, packed their daughter a bag and brought her to this laboratory.
"You're not broken." The doctor said, a calm assurance in their tone. "Despite what your parents seem to think, your Quirk is perfectly normal; a blend of their own as it should be expected. And the cravings are something that can easily be…. rectified."
Himiko gulped, making the doctor recompose themselves
"You won't be here long. I promise. Besides, there are far WORSE patients than you here."

Immediately, Himiko began to be given pills and needles to help 'ease' her Quirk into the therapy. She was given a room with a view, allowing her to watch the outside world and, much like a princess in those movies she watched with her mother, want to be part of it.
It wouldn't be much longer, she told herself. Already she was thinking better without blood: Soon she'd be back home with her parents
An alarm suddenly went off.
"All patients in their rooms and way from the doors. Dangerous patient being transferred."
Himiko did not move from her spot and thus saw the prisoner:
He didn't look like a monster.
He looked like a sad lizard boy, tearstains on his cheeks and a muzzle on his mouth, barely fighting back from where he was being taken. It also didn't help that the doctors and other patients hurled swears, curses and in the doctor's cases, shocked and prodded the boy as he moved.
For a split second, the boy and Himiko's eyes met; a hint of life and color entering the boy's eyes as confusion and care came into Himiko's. The lead scientist pushed the boy forward, spying Himiko looking on.

"I want to go home…."
A painful operation later, Himiko's dream cam true: No more blood cravings, no lightheadedness….! And her Quirk was much, much cooler! She could now manipulate her body to grow in strength, sharpness, and bulk. It was still scary looking, but she could defiantly be a hero with this kind of power. Plus, her parents would be happy to have her back, right?
"We can't let you leave just yet." The doctor explained to her. "Yes, your Quirk has properly awakened and you have a grand control…but your Quirk factor has….holes in it."
This worried the girl.
"Now, yes, you could probably live your life with no problem, there are two recorded cases of such a thing" The doctor mused. "But this lab is all about improvement and perfecting yourself. So, we're going to give you a few more tests and surgeries until we get those holes filled up. And look at this way, the way your Quirk factor is built, you'll survive and keep your mind."
"Wait, what?!" Himiko asked, only to feel an oxygen mask placed on her by another doctor, who glared at the other. The girl began to fall asleep as others wheeled in. "Please…! I want to go home…"
Himiko sobbed as they set up for an injection.

Unknown to her, the lizard boy, Izuku , was being drowned and shocked in the next room, giving him a view. And unlike the doctors and other patients?
He couldn't stand to hear and see her like that.
The boy knew he deserved to be here. She didn't. Her Quirk was awakened and she could control it well; the doctors were keeping her for another reason. And he had spied how some of the doctors looked at the girl; it was kind of the way his daddy and looked at his mommy, but it was…wrong….and sick.
Despite the lack of air in his lungs from water and screaming from shocks, which was admittedly diminishing, he was already planning.
His parents and grandfather would've been proud.

Two nights later, Himiko, fresh off another surgery and in post operation pain as she tried in vain to sleep, was awoken by someone entering her room and tossing a blanket over to her. Her visitor held a finger to his lips and hurriedly beckoned her to follow him.
She followed, confused until she felt the scaly hands pulling her along towards what looked like the worst kept room in the entire compound: Blood stains, trash from ramen and milk cups along with apple cores….and a hole that had been hidden by the boy's cot.
"There's a shuttle train right underneath that the doctors say gets off at Mufasta." The boy said, helping Himiko get closer. "Anywhere is better than here."
The girl paused, scared and looking at him in confusion. Izuku felt his heart break, but then spied something: His most prized possession. But maybe, just maybe….
"Here, you can take this."
Himiko found an All Might action figure forced into her hands by the gently smiling boy, who put her into the hole carefully.
"You'll be okay." He promised her, just as alarm went off. He then let her go, letting her slide down the hole. All the while, he kept smiling:
He had saved her.
He was a hero.
Even if just for a second…..
"WHERE?!" The doctors ordered.
Izuku said nothing.
They began to beat him.
Izuku said nothing.
They shocked him.
Izuku said and felt nothing.
This went on for two hours; they'd try and hurt him. But nothing.
"You know?" One of the scientists mused, a cruel smile on their face. "Nomu's been feeling lonely…"
Who was Nomu? Izuku wandered.

After she landed on the shuttle bus and rode it to the city, Himiko kept running until the soles of her feet bled. She wasn't sure where she was; nothing looked familiar and she couldn't find her house. She had no money for a train ticket, nor even a bottle of water.
Luckily, a pretty heroine with purple hair and a rifle in her arm spotted the poor girl and took her to a homeless shelter, where the little girl's injuries were healed and her stomach was filled.
"Be safe." The woman cooed as she left, slipping some money into Himiko's hand that the girl managed to hide. She slept for a few hours before sneaking back out again.
Hours turned into days. Days into weeks. Himiko managed to figure out what times to dumpster dive and even found an MP3 to listen to pass the time.
"Hey, where'd you get that?"
Looking up, Himiko's red eyes met with another pair.
The first origin chapter, probably tamer than what was expected, but here it is
