Chapter 1 : In my dreams, I see you.

Sasuke never truly understood how it happened. Even now there is a blank space in his mind.

He remembers waking up in that prison, his body aching. He tried to feel around and get his bearings but there was a dizzy, pounding in his head.

Memories fading in and out. He must have taken a hit on the head. But who?

A flash of blond flutters in his mind. There is a blinding flash of light and Sasuke has to press his eyes tight to calm his throbbing head.

He is taken. That is what he understands. Then probing deeper in mind he searches for his memories. It slowly comes back to him, headache residing as all of a sudden, his mind clears and everything comes back.

Sasuke was tied up. His hands bound by tight chakra draining ropes. A collar with spikes around his neck. His feet were bound around the ankles. He must be unconscious but as he was waking up he felt someone tying something around his eyes. He lost his visibility. He sat tied. He could feel other people around him. Two -maybe three- of them. Standing around him. He leaned back and felt rocks digging into his back. He stayed silent though his mouth was not bound. At least he still had his speech. But what good that would do? He could probably bite them off, if he could bother enough to spare energy that way.

Naruto was an idiot. An idiot. A total idiot. If he thought doing this will get him back to konoha. Sasuke felt irritated. He remained silent though all he wanted was to lash out. He figured there was no point in talking and give Naruto a chance to fall back into his one sided rumbling. He hated that most.

Someone suffle closer to him and held out a container to his lips.

"Water"Sakura said. Her voice soft and hesitate. He waited for a few seconds then sneered.He would rather die before playing picnic with them. He turned his face away.

"Sakura." Sasuke paused. He wanted her eyes fixed on him. "If it is something you want to do to make yourself useful, unbound my eyes and stop being a coward".

"Sasuke, I - I am sorry but I can't do that".She replied. Her voice started small but as she went, she picked her non existent confidence from the air. It was so pathetic. Even Sakura thought she could talk to him like that. Sasuke barely kept himself from snapping.

"Why not? Your caretaker did not give you permission to use your hands, yet?" Sasuke sneered. He put all his malice in his voice.

Sasuke felt her physically recoil back. He almost smirked. Still as pathetic as always.

"Sasuke."

Her voice sounded shocked. Sasuke wanted to hurt her. Kill her, even.But he stayed there. Mute. Because before he could speak anything, the most obnoxious voice Sasuke ever had the displeasure of hearing spoke up.

"The Great Sasuke Uchiha, bound and gagged, being dragged back to Konoha. How fitting and perfect. Don't you think Kakashi Sensie". Sasuke did not know this voice. or probably he did. It was the replacement's voice. So, the whole useless group was present here. Gagged? Was this guy blind, deaf AND dumb?

Sasuke had enough of this.He pressed his back on the rocks. His tied hands scrubbed against the edge and he felt his blood drip. Sasuke pressed it to the ground. A bellow of fumes behind him, Sasuke pushed his feet against the floor and jumped.When his feet securely landed atop slippery skin, he knew it was over. For them. Sasuke wretched his hands open from the chakra binding ropes, and harshly pulled at his eyes covering and ankle bindings. As he blinked opened his eyes, he looked beneath him, from atop his place at his snakes' head. Sakura and the replacement were standing poised in their fighting stance, weapons drawn. Sasuke almost laughed. No way they sent these losers to capture him.

But of course not, he had to jump again to avoid Kakashi 's attack from behind his back. Sasuke was free as he landed on the ground. He directed his attention to Kakashi as he sent his snake amado towards Sakura and Sai.

There should be more. where is Naruto?

Sasuke wondered. He was aware he could be attacked from anywhere. He needed to finish it. fast.

Sasuke threw a stream of chidori stream at kakashi and kept leaping out his way. It happened incredibly fast. Kakashi dodging Sasuke's katon, Sasuke dodging Kakashi 's earth attack and then huge blocks of woods rising from the ground all around Sasuke trapping him inside. Sasuke blew Katon at a branch but it was quickly replaced by other. His hands, then legs and his whole body was laced with thick woods very soon. Pressing into him, keeping him immobile. Sasuke let out a frustrated sound in his throat. He struggled but then stopped. His snake had already been dispelled. He needed to calm down and think of another strategy. It may be difficult to take both Kakashi sensei and wood guy together.

But why wait? Sasuke pushed lightning chakra all around him, at the woods that were caging him. The lightning blades cut the woods. Sasuke eyes glowed red. Both from his fury and the sharingan. He looked at his four enemies. Slowly weaving a genjutsu around him, he trapped wood guy into thinking Sasuke has attacked and then quickly jumped at Kakashi. Wood guy attacked with his woods towards Kakashi . Since, it will take some time. Sasuke decided to get rid of the losers of the group first.

Sakura, he noticed, had gain exceptional physical strength. But that was all useless. Within moments he had pit Sakura against Sai . Wood guy had knocked kakashi out. And Sasuke knocked Wood guy out. It was almost too easy. Only , Kakashi had managed to hit him with a kunia. He pulled it out and stumbled towards a rock and sat down. His chakra was used up substantially. Sasuke remembered he had not eaten or drank anything since he woke up.

Where is Naruto? Surely they did not cone to take him without him.

What fools.

Sasuke thought but then he cursed. why? Because Sakura was bleeding and unconscious near a foot away from him. And Naruto was looking at him with red rage in his eyes.
