Chapter 4: The Blade

Aboard the Razor Crest, Din was flying Ash and his friends to Snowbelle City. As he was in the cockpit, making sure that his ship would not get spotted by too many people, Ash and Cynthia, with the Pokémon of the group, were watching as Brock was in front of Grogu, with Serena up next with Braixen by her side, armed with her twig.

"Remember, Braixen, we need to teach Grogu to be a Jedi, and that means using whatever a laser sword is," Serena said as Braixen looked to her. "We don't really know what those are, but your stick will make for a perfect training sword."

"Brai…" Braixen said.

"And don't worry. Greninja will help teach so that Grogu can use it carefully," Ash reassured. "We just need to wait until after he's done with his Force training."

"And if anyone has the best teaching experience, it's Brock." May said.

"Alright, Grogu," Brock said, readying an empty Pokéball behind his back as he and the rest of Ash's friends faced Grogu. "You ready?"

"Take it easy, Brock!" Dawn called out. "Remember, we still have to make sure Grogu is ready for the rest of the training we promised Din we'd give!"

"Don't worry," Brock said before taking out his Pokéball. "Go and get it, Grogu!"

Grogu looked up as the Pokéball flew. Reaching his hands out curiously, the Pokéball flew over his head while a box of Pokéblocks flew instead.

"What the—?!" Iris exclaimed before the Pokéball hit her in the head instead. "Ouch!" she cried out, getting a hidden sly grin from Ash. "Oh, it's always someone, isn't it?!"

"What happened?" Ash asked, focusing back on what had just happened. "That usually works."

"Maybe he was just hungry," May said before noticing her backpack was open. "Oh, so that's where he pulled the Pokéblocks from."

"You've improved your Purple Surprise, right, May?" Brock asked.

"Purple Surprise?" Cynthia asked.

May chuckled nervously. "It was my own special recipe," she explained. "I didn't know how good recipes at the time, so I made my own."

"And the only one of her Pokémon to like it was her Munchlax." Ash went on.

Everyone watched as Grogu took a bite. Eager for an answer, they waited. After a while, he put them down and pulled the thrown Pokéball to his hand instead, accidentally hitting Iris again.

"Oh, come on!" Iris exclaimed, feeling her head. "Is it just boys who do that or just the ones I know?"

"Did… you like it, Grogu?" May asked.

Grogu looked up to May with a curious look on his face. She began to slowly smile before one of her Purple Surprise Pokéblocks was thrown at her face.

"Everyone's a critic." May mused.

Ash laughed before he, Serena and Cynthia noticed some scarred green armor next to where the Assassin Droid, Zero, was.

"Mando never said anything about there being a spare set of armor." Serena said.

"I wonder who this used to belong to." Cynthia mused.

Up above, Din was still flying until he noticed his scanners going off.

"Distress call?" Din wondered. "How far?" he asked. He narrowed in on the signal. Focusing on where it was originating from, he started to descend down, much to the surprise of Ash and his friends.

"Hey, what's going on?" Bonnie asked as Clemont held onto the Hovering Pram while she made sure Grogu was safe.

"Mando, what's happening?" Cynthia asked, calling up to the cockpit.

"Picking up a distress signal not too far from here," Din answered as the Razor Crest started to land. "We'll set up, check it out, and rest. Then we head to Snowbelle City."

"Wait, a distress signal?" Cynthia asked. "That does sound like an emergency."

"Best that we check it out," Clemont said before putting a panel back onto the Hovering Pram. "And done. All repairs are now finished!"

"Let's make this quick." Din said.

Soon, everyone was out of the Razor Crest and following Din, with Grogu in his Hovering Pram beside him. The Mandalorian looked to his detector and led everyone through a forest, Clemont struggling to keep up.

"You know, if you need to cover more ground, I could swing from the trees," Iris offered Din, who said nothing in response. "I've been doing it all the time, from Unova to the Delecore Islands. Even some times in the Johto Region too."

Din turned to Iris. "I'm fine." He said.

"I'm just saying, you look like you could use some help." Iris replied with a shrug.

Din took a long look at Iris before continuing to walk ahead. "What a kid." He muttered.

"Hey!" Iris pouted.

From the bushes, Team Rocket was watching.

"I don't get it," Jessie said. "They were doing just fine in their ship. Why stop all of a sudden?"

"Whatever the reason, we need to focus on getting Grogu." James said.

"And while we're at it through this arc, don't ya think it'd be nice to get da boss Pikachu too?" Meowth asked.

"Brilliant plan, old chum!" James exclaimed with a smile. "But first, we need to know what they're after, though."

Din continued to lead the group through the forest until Ash noticed something up ahead.

"Wait." Ash said, getting in front of Din.

"What's wrong?" Din asked.

"Oh, no. Not those again!" May exclaimed, looking up ahead.

Brock and Serena looked to each other before taking a look themselves with Clemont and Bonnie.

"Breloom," Brock said. "We ran into one a while back in Hoenn, where May's Blaziken was still a Torchic before becoming a Combusken."

"They also like to beat up other Pokémon too!" Bonnie recalled from when they came across one as well.

"They're aggressive, and will fight anyone who gets in their territory." May added on.

"Yeah," Din said, looking slightly to the side. "I'm sure they'd agree."

Everyone turned back before seeing several Breloom glaring at them.

"Loom! Breloom!" one of the Breloom yelled.

"Noivern, I choose…" Ash began, only for Din to walk in front of him. "Wait, don't actually hurt them!"

"I wonder what Mando is up to." James said.

Din said nothing and started to perform hand motions.

"What's going on?" Dawn asked.

"I'm trying to negotiate." Din explained.

The lead Breloom performed his own hand motions, only in a more aggressive way.

"He's using sign language!" Cynthia realized.

"But I don't think there's such thing as a deaf Pokémon." Ash said, confused.

"I think it's his way of talking to them," Serena clarified. "We can't speak the way Pokémon do, so he's doing it in a way anyone can understand."

"So, what's he saying?" Bonnie asked.

"I don't know sign language that well, I'm afraid." Clemont said, adjusting his glasses.

"He's explaining the distress signal," Cynthia said. "My sign language translation is a bit rusty, but he's asking for passage across this part of the woods."

"Sign language, eh?" Meowth asked. "I only learned how to speak, not to talk with the hands."

"Looks like the Breloom are considering letting them pass," James said, causing Jessie and Meowth to look at him in surprise. "Learning sign language was one of the many lessons I took when growing up. It was also the one of the very few that I actually enjoyed."

Din performed more sign language towards the Breloom, to which it performed back, making a gesturing movement.

Din turned to May. "Give me your bandana." He said.

May looked to Din before removing the bandana from her head. Din looked to it before handing it to the Breloom.

"Wait, what?!" May exclaimed.

The leader of the Breloom cheered as the bandana was tied to a stick. The other Breloom cheered as well before clearing the way for the group to pass.

"What did you do that for?!" May asked, trying to keep herself from getting angry.

"We interrupted their game, Capture The Flag," Din explained. "They lost theirs, and needed a new one. They liked your color, and requested it so we could pass."

"Wow, I never knew about this side of you," Cynthia said. "Impressive."

Din nodded before stopping everyone just in the middle of the forest. Everyone stopped and gasped at what was in front of them.

"What?!" Jessie exclaimed in shock with Meowth and James sharing the same expression.

In front of everyone was a crashed Starfighter, one that was decayed and now covered with grass around it.

"Is this it?" Bonnie asked.

Din looked to his scanner, which was now beeping rapidly as he aimed it at the crashed Starfighter.

"We might be too late to help, based on the condition of this…" Clemont started out.

"Fighter," Din finished up as he walked forward. "It's about the size of one. X-Wing size, so this is an old fighter. Pre-Empire, like the Razor Crest."

"Wait, if the distress call came from here…" May started out.

"Where's the pilot?" Dawn finished up.

Serena walked over with Braixen as they both looked at the Starfighter. Soon, they found the latch for the cockpit.

"Braixen, use Scratch to open." Serena ordered.

Braixen nodded and scratched at the latch. Soon, it opened up, and to everyone's surprise, the seat was empty.

"But… the distress call…" Brock started out.

Din looked inside, with Pancham and Piplup doing so as well. He looked to the monitor and noticed a pinging light.

"Repeating for years," Din deducted. "And only on anything Pre-Empire. To anything not associated with them at the time, again like the Razor Crest."

"What could have happened to the pilot?" Serena asked.

"We'll find that out with the data here," Clemont said. "I think I can find out a bit about this ship and its pilot by using the memory drive here."

"Yet another reason why science is so amazing," Ash said as he and Pikachu looked around. He suddenly noticed something under the seat, something shimmering faintly. "You see that, Pikachu?"

"Pika?" Pikachu asked. He scurried over and pulled it out, revealing it to be a short cylindrical object with a decorated grip, buttons and a slanted edge. He looked to it before handing it over to Ash.

"Huh," Ash said as he inspected the object. "What's this?"

"You find anything else?" Din asked, walking over.

"I think it's some sort of space wrench." Ash guessed, putting the object in his pocket.

"Let's take this all back to the camp," Din said. "We'll get anything we can salvage and find out what happened, and then locate the pilot."

"Looks like a heavy job. Good thing I've got the Pokémon for the job," Dawn said, taking out a Pokéball. "Mamoswine, come on out!" she called, releasing her Mamoswine.

"And for heavy-lifting, let's go, Excadrill!" Iris called, releasing her drill Pokémon.

"Guess we'd better help too," Cynthia said before releasing her Garchomp. "Let's go, girl."

Soon, most of the wrecked ship had been put onto Mamoswine's back, while Garchomp and Excadrill pulled a cart with the rest of the wreckage. Din looked ahead and signaled for everyone to follow him back to the Razor Crest.

"I'm curious about that ship too." Jessie pondered.

"Better see what they can find out so we can take it for ourselves!" Meowth suggested.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet agreed.

Back at the Razor Crest, a camp had been set up. Din was scanning some of the ship while Clemont was busy looking through the data systems. As they were, Serena had handed Grogu Braixen's stick while Greninja was let out.

"Okay, Grogu," Ash said as he walked behind Greninja. "We don't know much about laser swords, but we can at least give you some basic sword lessons," he said. "While Greninja teaches you with Cut…"

"You'll be using that stick that Braixen lent," Serena finished up. "You ready, Grogu?"

Grogu cooed in response.

"I'm guessing that's a yes." Cynthia said.

"Okay," Ash said before looking to Greninja. "Greninja, use Cut, but don't hit anyone. Make sure Grogu can follow your movements."

"Nin." Greninja replied before letting out his Cut Sword. He slashed around one time before turning around.

Everyone watched as Grogu looked to the stick before swinging in the opposite direction that Greninja did.

"Great work!" Dawn cheered. "Try another one."

Greninja seemed to nod in approval before swinging down. Grogu followed suit, and swung up.

"Man, you're learning fast," Ash said, placing his hands on his hips. He suddenly felt the object that he and Pikachu found and took it out of his pocket. "What is this thing?" he asked. "It could be a space wrench…" he pondered before looking to Greninja. "Keep teaching," he said. "I'll be right back."

Greninja nodded and swung around. Grogu looked to him before a small fly flew over. He looked to it and started to swing wildly.

"Guess he's the easily-distracted type." May said with a chuckle.

"Just wish we had a laser sword to teach him with," Brock said as Grogu was now starting to try and hit the fly, swinging like crazy. "But it's not like we have one on us."

Ash walked to a safe distance and looked to the object. "Okay, you look like a broken sword," he said, looking to the object as Pikachu walked over. "Maybe the top half broke off somewhere… no, I would have been cut myself."

"Pika…" Pikachu wondered as Ash fidgeted around with the object.

"What could…?" Ash continued to wonder until he noticed something on the side. "Hey, there's a button here," he said before his eyes briefly turned blue. "Wait, I haven't felt that in a long time," he mused before moving his finger to the button. "I wonder what this…" he said before pressing the button.

All of a sudden, a blue blade of plasma sprung out with a snap-hiss sound. Ash yelled as he saw it spring to life.

"Huh?" Serena said as she and Braixen looked over, as did everyone else helping Grogu. They all hollered frantically, seeing Ash nearly falling back in surprise at the sight of the glowing blade.

"Ash?!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"What's this?! What's this?! What's happening right now?!" Ash asked before swinging the blade down, letting out a whooshing noise.

"Pi!" Pikachu yelled, getting out of the way before the blade cut through a rock, letting it fall with both pieces letting out smoke from the burn.

"Mando! Help!" Ash called out.

Din looked up before seeing Ash regain his footing, now looking to the blade with wonder.

"Ash!" Din yelled, running towards the Trainer from Pallet Town with everyone else. "Wait… is that…?"

"It looked like some sort of space wrench, but I think it's a sword," Ash said before looking to the blade again. "Could this be…?"

"Don't touch it!" Din warned, placing his Vambrace in the way of Ash's hand. It bounced off, much to Ash's surprise.

"Is that what I think it is?" Cynthia asked.

"It's different from the ones Ahsoka had, but it is," Din replied. "It's a Jedi's laser sword."

"Feels different from a blaster," Ash said, swinging the blade slowly before eventually picking up pace, but not as fast. "Feels so… civilized. Less clumsy."

"How did you turn that on?" Serena asked.

"I just pressed this button here…" Ash said, placing his finger on the button. As he did, the laser sword turned off, its blade retracting. "Whoa… now that… that is so amazing!"

"But how did you turn it on?" Serena asked.

"It's something that clicked inside of me," Ash said before looking to Brock, May and Dawn. "You remember our times with Lucario?" he asked. "Those times with Aura… it clicked with me again."

"Well, no matter how strong you are with Aura… I don't think it's a good idea for you to play around with that, Ash." May said.

"Maybe I should hold onto it," Din suggested. "This is able to cut through flesh. I wouldn't want you to cut your own hand off."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Ash said, unaware that something in the bushes was watching. "I like having two hands and feet," he joked before handing the laser sword to Din. "Here."

"So, if that's a Jedi's laser sword…" Cynthia said as Din placed a clip onto the hilt before hooking it onto his belt. "Does that mean…?"

"This ship once belonged to a Jedi!" Clemont deducted.

"If that was once a Jedi's ship, what happened to the Jedi?" Dawn asked.

"More importantly, why leave behind their possibly only weapon?" Iris added on.

Din said nothing before turning to Clemont. "Is that data drive fixed?" he asked.

"It will take a while, but once I have it repaired, we can find our answers from there." Clemont responded.

"For now, no one will be touching the laser sword." Din told everyone.

"But why?" Bonnie asked.

"You all saw what it could do, and I have too. It can cut through anything and anyone, but not through my Beskar," Din answered. "Ahsoka Tano used two of them to take out a militia of a corrupt town, and that was through flesh and other metals. If not used properly, you could cut your own limbs off, and I don't think any of you would want to be amputees."

"Yeah, that makes sense." Brock agreed.

"You have the experience," Ash said. "Best you hold onto it, then."

Din nodded before looking to Ash. "I'll need your help later on." He said, changing the subject.

"Um, sure, Mando," Ash said. "What's up?"

"I need to find my own way of battling, after seeing how you handled Team Rocket," Din explained. "Some way to not make myself too… predictable."

"What do you mean by that?" May asked.

"Everyone knows what you'll have your Pokémon do once you tell them your orders," Din explained. "I need a way so that I'm not so open. A way for me and my own Pokémon to match the strongest this planet has to offer."

"Oh, well, about that part, um…" Cynthia started out. "See, the reason we do that…"

"It's not to make ourselves vulnerable, per se," Brock went on. "But more like…"

"There's just no other way to get them to attack, I guess," Ash picked up. "I mean, back when I was in Kanto, there was this girl, Anabel, who could connect with her own Pokémon by not having to tell them to attack, they would be able to pick up from what she wanted them to do through how both she and her Pokémon felt. It made the battle tougher, but even still, it helps to call out the attacks."

"So, I guess there's not really a tactical way to have Pokémon attack, if that's what you're looking for." Serena finished up.

"So everyone just leaves themselves open by yelling out what they're about to do, huh?" Din asked. "That's… confusing."

"Trust us, when it comes to an official Pokémon battle, you'll understand," Dawn reassured. "There's nothing too tactical to get, so no need to worry."

Din nodded before looking to Grogu. "Back to training for you." He said.

"Alright," Ash said before looking to Greninja, unaware that the figure in the bushes was now focusing his attention on him. "Keep using Cut, and before you know it, Grogu will be a pro with a laser sword of his own!"

"Grin!" Greninja said in confirmation. He was about to use Cut again until he looked around.

"What is it?" Ash asked.

Grogu perked up his ears and looked around as well.

"We're not alone." Din said, reaching for his blaster.

"Team Rocket?" Dawn asked, taking out her spear blaster.

"Don't know," Din said, scanning around. "But maybe it's—"

All of a sudden, a green Pokémon with arms shaped like blades leapt out. Everyone looked to it in surprise before it went straight for Din. However, Greninja got in the way with Cut and clashed with the Pokémon.

"A new one?" Din asked, aiming his Pokédex at the Pokémon.

"Gallade, the Blade Pokémon, and the final male evolved form of Kirlia. When extended, Gallade's elbows are like swords, and when protecting anyone or anything of value, it strikes fiercely."

"There's something here that it doesn't want to get hurt," Ash deducted. "If we can find out what, maybe it will leave us alone!" he exclaimed before swinging his arm out. "Greninja, push him back with Cut!"

Greninja nodded and continued to slash back, but Gallade pushed on through, eventually pushing him back. As he was recovering, he slashed at Din, who held up his arms in defense. As the two locked, a resonating sound came from them.

"Wait, that's the same with the blade of that Honedge," Serena realized. "Does that mean…?"

"I thought the blades on that Gallade's arms looked strange," Brock said. "If what we heard you say about Beskar is true…"

"That must mean that Gallade has Beskar on it!" Iris concluded.

"I don't want to fight you!" Din yelled before shooting at the ground. Gallade backed away, allowing for Din to go back as well before putting his blaster away. "Listen," he said, performing sign language motions again. "I don't want this to get ugly. I just want to know what you want."

Gallade looked to Din, with everyone else watching to see what would happen next. Finally, it lowered its arms and started to perform sign language of his own. Din watched intently as it made several motions before stopping.

"More sign language?" Jessie asked.

"Because of his arms, I couldn't make out what the chap wanted." James said.

"What did he say?" Dawn asked.

Din started to perform back at Gallade. "He's saying we have something he was guarding." He explained, making some gestures of his own.

Gallade performed his gestures again before motioning towards the laser sword hilt.

Din looked to his belt and unclipped the item, showing it to Gallade, who nodded in confirmation. He put it back and performed more sign language to communicate.

"Now what?" May asked.

"'This was recovered from a Jedi's fighter'," Cynthia helped translate. "'Do you know the Jedi'?"

Gallade looked to Din before performing sign language back at him. Din looked intently at what was being conveyed before performing back.

"What did Gallade say?" Bonnie asked.

"He never got his name, but he knows he is on this planet," Cynthia explained. "Now, as for what Mando is saying…" she started before looking up. "'What do you want from us? We do not mean you any harm'."

Gallade looked to the laser sword before performing again.

"'You took his weapon,'" Cynthia translated again. "'That is his… lightsaber'?"

Din looked to the weapon. "I've been calling it the wrong name this whole time, huh?" he asked, getting a slight smirk from Gallade. He looked back to him and performed more sign language. "We need answers about the Jedi," he said in unison with his sign language. "And if my kid needs to become a Jedi once he is reunited with his kind, he'll need it for the future."

"Wait, it goes from a Jedi to a kid and an even littler kid?!" Iris asked in disbelief.

"Don't say he's that young," Ash explained. "Mando said that Grogu is fifty years old."

"You're kidding… right?" May asked, but Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie all shook their heads. "What I'd give to take his medicine and live forever."

Gallade pondered for a moment before communicating with Din. Cynthia once again paid close attention, but said nothing. Paying attention to each motion, her eyes suddenly widened at what he was saying.

Din looked to the lightsaber and then to Ash and his friends. "You sure?" he asked.

"Gallade." Gallade confirmed.

Din looked to the group and bit his tongue. "Dank Farrik," he cursed before looking back to Gallade. "Let me talk to them first." He insisted before walking over.

"What's going on now?" Brock asked.

"He's letting us keep the lightsaber." Din started out.

"Way to negotiate!" Ash said supportively.

"But there's a catch," Din continued. "He wants to test you, to see if one of you are worthy to wield the lightsaber until Grogu is ready to wield it at the right age."

"So… he's challenging us to a battle then?" Dawn asked. She smiled and took out a Pokéball. "No need to worry, then. I've got the Pokémon for the job."

"No." Din said.

"What?" Cynthia asked.

"But I've got just the—"

"He said that if we are to keep the lightsaber, you seven must fight him, using the lightsaber only," Din clarified. "He won't be using Moves, so long as you use no Pokémon."

"Is it safe for him to touch the blade?" Clemont asked.

"His blades are coated with Beskar," Din explained. "And he only wants to test Ash, Brock, May, Dawn, Iris, Clemont and Serena."

"What about me or Cynthia?" Bonnie asked.

"Nenene?" Dedenne asked.

"This Gallade sees me as already skilled, Cynthia as a respected champion with her own skills, and you to be too young," Din said. "The seven older trainers only. Using the lightsaber against him. Whoever wields it the best or defeats him allows for us to keep the lightsaber, and that one person to be the one to hold onto it."

"Wait, you just said that it's too dangerous for any of us to use." Brock said, feeling confused.

Din turned back to the Gallade before looking to the group again. "He sees one of you has the potential," he explained. "And until you can beat him in close combat, we won't know who."

Ash looked to Pikachu. "What do you think, Bud?" he asked.

"Pika…" Pikachu said, scratching his head.

"Well, we do need that lightsaber, to help train Grogu," May said as she looked to Bonnie and Dedenne playing around with Grogu. "And we have our own experiences too."

"But don't forget, we're still training with blasters," Clemont pointed out. "I know we should be focusing on keeping Grogu safe and training him…"

"I say we go for it," Ash said. "I don't know much about the Jedi, but if they were in our position, I'm sure they would at least take the risk."

"You're sure about this, Ash?" Iris asked.

"This is the way." Ash said, nodding.

"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu agreed.

"How did I get the feeling you were going to say that?" Iris deadpanned.

"Axew…" Axew agreed.

"We need it, plus the additional training," Ash said. "And it's a fair deal too. If we can beat him, we can keep the lightsaber."

"Mando, you're sure we're up for this?" Dawn asked.

"I have spoken." Din replied.

"Well, okay then," Clemont said as he adjusted his glasses. "I guess it's decided then."

"Gallade, we accept this challenge!" Brock called out.

"Gallade!" Gallade replied, nodded in acceptance.

"So, who goes first?" Serena asked.

"Maybe me," Dawn said. "I mean, I've got a weapon similar to a sword, and I almost beat O at the Ping-Pong Tournament in Sinnoh."

"I'd rather go last," Clemont said. "You know I'm not that athletic."

"I'll go," Iris said, causing everyone to look to her. "When I grew up in the Village of Dragons, I did more than just swing across vines, you know."

"Go ahead then." Ash said, gesturing to Din and Gallade, the former holding the lightsaber in his hand.

"Wow," Iris said, blinking. "I thought you'd try to argue or something."

"No, it makes sense," Ash said. "Besides, how long will it be before you can have the spotlight again?"

"Twerp's got a point." James said.

"But I don't think it will be that long, given what everyone saw lately." Jessie commented.

Immediately, all of Team Rocket looked to the side.

"Look, this is as far as that joke goes." Meowth said.

"Yeah! If you don't understand what we mean, check on the news. You'll see what we're talking about!" James added on.

"Wobba Fett!" Wobbuffet agreed before they turned back to the fight about to begin.

Iris walked to Din, who handed her the lightsaber. "Turn it on here." He instructed, showing Iris where the activation matrix was.

"Got it, thanks," Iris said, walking forward to Gallade. "Okay… I'm ready!"

"Gallade!" Gallade chanted, crossing his arm across his face.

"Um… what?" Iris asked.

"Ew…?" Axew asked.

"I think that's his way of saluting you," Cynthia said. "He can't really use his arm like an actual sword to properly do it."

"Oh!" Iris realized. She placed the lightsaber across her face before the two swung down. Feeling the activation matrix, she pressed it, and the blue blade sprung to life.

"Whoa…" Cynthia said.

"It's heavier than I thought," Iris said before seeing Gallade making a taunting gesture. "That's how you want!" she exclaimed before charging forward.

Ash seemed to perk up as soon as Iris began to charge. She went in for a wide slash at Gallade, but he stepped aside and slashed at her. She turned around and held up the lightsaber, blocking it before striking back. However, he slashed at her again. The two circled their blades before the lightsaber was knocked out of her hand, with her falling to the ground to try and catch it.

"Ooh!" Ash winced.

"Ouch." Iris groaned. She crawled to pick up the lightsaber, but Gallade crossed his arms across his chest.

"What's going on?" Dawn asked.

"He's calling it off," Din explained. "Don't know why, though."

"Why?" Iris asked, looking back to Gallade.

Din walked to Gallade, performing sign language again. As soon as he finished, Gallade performed back to him.

"Your form is sloppy. You are unbalanced, and he could have disarmed you quicker even if he did use a move," Din translated to Iris. "Sorry. You're out."

"What?! But I—"

"Lade…" Gallade said sternly.

"Okay… I'll go back. Iris said quickly, walking back to everyone.

"Decide who goes next." Din said as he took the lightsaber back.

"Sloppy, he says," Iris muttered as she sat next to Bonnie and Dedenne, with Axew joining as they watched over Grogu. "This coming from the Pokémon whose blades should be sticking the opposite direction."

"So… who wants to go next?" Ash asked. He looked to Brock. "What about you?"

"Why me?" Brock asked.

"Out of all of us, and not counting Mando, you're the strongest, both in Pokémon fights and physically," May pointed out. "I'm sure you could handle the lightsaber."

"Okay, I guess," Brock said with a shrug. He got up and walked over. "I'll do my best."

"Good luck." Din said, presenting the lightsaber to Brock.

Brock picked up the lightsaber and walked to Gallade. This time, he turned the lightsaber on, and the two saluted to each other. Swinging their blades down, Brock attacked first, going for the sides. Gallade simply held up his arms in defense, the Beskar softening each strike. After two strikes to each side, he brought the blade straight down, but Gallade crossed his arms above him to block the attack.

"Well, it's better than how I was doing," Iris admitted before patting Grogu on the head. "I'm sure you could handle that better, huh, Grogu?" she asked, getting some cooing noises from him in response.

"Hmm…" Ash said, watching Brock pensively

"What is it, Ash?" Serena asked.

"Iris went in too quickly, and Brock is relying on strength," Ash noted as Gallade threw Brock off, now starting to fight back. "And Gallade seems to focus on both offense and defense."

"I never pegged you for a sword fighter." May said.

"Something is just clicking with me," Ash said as Pikachu looked on. "But I don't know what."

"Pikachu…" Pikachu agreed.

Brock backed away before falling on his back. He held the lightsaber up as Gallade brought his arm down before getting back up behind him. He prepared to strike at him, but Gallade thrust his elbows back, stopping Brock as the blades aimed at him. The two broke away before Gallade kneed him in the chest. As Brock tried to get up again, Gallade aimed a blade at his neck.

"Gallade."

"What's the verdict?" Brock asked, knowing that his turn was over.

"I think I know," Cynthia said before walking down. She looked to Gallade and started to perform her sign language at him, to which he performed back. "Better than Iris, but you relied on strength alone. Strength with the lightsaber won't win in any battle. You're not qualified."

Brock nodded before holding his hand out. "Thanks for the fight." He said.

Gallade nodded and shook Brock's hand before pointing to where Iris and Bonnie were taking care of Grogu. He nodded back in response before handing the lightsaber to Din again.

"That's a powerful bladed Pokémon right there." Meowth said.

"And one with Beskar too," James added on. "Say, what if we gave that to the Boss as a bonus with Grogu?"

"What could he have in mind for a Gallade?" Jessie asked.

"Give me time, and the fantasy will come." Meowth said.

"Let me try next," Clemont said, getting up. "I think I have an idea."

"Go for it, Big Brother!" Bonnie called out.

"Nenene!" Dedenne cheered.

Din nodded at Clemont, who nodded back as he was handed the lightsaber. Soon, he walked up to Gallade, the two getting into a ready position. After saluting, Clemont turned on the lightsaber and waited. Gallade stood ready as well, the two now staring each other down.

"He's being too cautious there…" Ash said.

"Pika?" Pikachu asked.

Finally. Gallade struck, but Clemont dodged to the side. He spun the lightsaber at him, but Gallade quickly recovered and blocked from the left side. As he did, Clemont broke off and went for the right, to which Gallade held his blade up. However, at that moment, Clemont feinted and swung low, where Gallade leapt over him, now landing behind the Lumiose City Gym Leader.

Clemont gasped and ducked as Gallade elbowed. Rolling down, he struck up high, but Gallade blocked and started to stab down, causing Clemont to roll on the ground faster. He got up again and struck from above, getting Gallade to block with both his arms. This time, Clemont deactivated the lightsaber and pulled away before reactivating it again. Before he could strike, Gallade slashed the lightsaber out of his hands, getting it to switch off once again.

"Gal." Gallade said.

"Am I done?" Clemont asked.

"Gallade." Gallade responded as Din walked over.

"You were good, but you relied too much on pattern and not enough on strategy," Din clarified. "Granted, you were pragmatic, but not enough to win if he were a more skilled armed opponent."

"I guess it makes sense," Clemont said, shaking Gallade's hand. "Thanks for that."

"Gallade."

"No need to worry, Clemont. You, Brock and Iris gave it your best shots." Dawn said as Clemont walked back, now sitting down to help take care of Grogu.

"I really thought I had it there." Clemont said, letting Grogu play around with one of his empty Pokéballs.

"Me too," Brock said. "Guess it just will come down to what it really takes to use the lightsaber."

"And I went down so quickly," Iris said resignedly. "I'm such a kid."

"Why do you always say that?" Brock asked.

"Say what?" Iris asked.

"Never mind." Bonnie said with a sly look on her face.

"De Nene." Dedenne agreed.

"Gone through three of us already," Serena said. "That Gallade sure is powerful."

"And he's not using any moves," May said before getting up. "I'll try a crack at him."

"Be careful!" Dawn called out.

May smiled and nodded before looking to Din. The two nodded before she took the lightsaber and activated it. She and Gallade saluted each other, and he struck at her first. Quickly, she raised up the lightsaber, fending off from his attacks.

"Looks like Gallade is going on the offensive this time." Brock said as he gave some berries to Grogu.

"It must be changing tactics for each of us instead of using the same routine over and over again," Clemont noted, taking a Tamato Berry away from Grogu's hand with his Aipom Arm. "It's a good strategy."

May continued to back away before sweeping the blade down low. Gallade backflipped over it and landed away, allowing for her to run at him and strike back with a spin.

"She's adding a Coordinator's touch, I see." Cynthia said.

"Huh," Dawn said as she watched May spin back from a strike. "I never thought you could use that for an actual battle."

"But she's too light on her feet," Ash said. "Something to take advantage of."

May stopped spinning and slashed at Gallade again, who only held one of his blades in defense. May tried to push through, but Gallade used his other arm to sweep under her feet. Letting out a yelp, she fell, and the lightsaber rolled away.

Gallade looked to May before turning to Din, performing sign language.

"Well?" May asked, brushing off some dirt before remembering that she had to give up her bandana, causing her to tap her hair to get more dirt out.

"You almost had him," Din translated. "But your strength was too focused on the attacks that you didn't have time to fend off against other areas. You're out."

"Okay, I get it," May said before bowing to Gallade. Gallade bowed back before handing her the dropped lightsaber. "Oh. Thank you," she said before walking to hand the lightsaber back to Din. "You still owe me a new bandana." She said before walking to the sidelines.

"Okay, I got it!" Meowth exclaimed quietly. "A way for da boss to be pleased with that Gallade!"

"Let's hear it." Jessie said.

"So imagine Da Boss checking on all of his captured Pokémon that we got for him over da years," Meowth explained. "Suddenly, someone with intentions to free them threatens him. Persian wouldn't be able to help him against an armed guy, and he'd be at his Moicy. That's when Gallade would swoop in and fence him off until he comes out on top, and chases him away. Da Boss would be so impressed that he would say…"

"It's a good thing that Meowth and his friends got me this Gallade. Now not only do I have a powerful ally, but a protective bodyguard. They all deserve to be placed in the hall of fame!"

"What a brilliant plan!" James said, starry-eyed.

"That will definitely make Team Rocket feared for sure!" Jessie agreed.

"But let's wait for Gallade and da Twoips to tire out first," Meowth said. "I want to see who gets that lightsaber."

Dawn turned to Serena. "You want to go next?" she asked.

"I'm still trying to figure out my strategy," Serena said before looking to Ash. "You've been taking a lot of notes. What about you?"

"Not yet," Ash said. "I may not be Cilan, but it's not fighting time yet. Still my Evaluation Time."

"In that case, it's gonna be me," Dawn said. "I have the way to do this, no need to worry!"

"That's when we worry most." May said as she handed some Pokéblocks to Grogu.

Grogu looked to the Pokéblocks before using the Force to take a Poffin from her bag, putting the Pokéblock down in front of Dedenne.

Dedenne picked up the Purple Surprise and ate it. Immediately, it fell over, whirls in its eyes.

"Why me?" May asked, deadpan.

Dawn chuckled before walking up to Gallade. She turned on the lightsaber after Din handed it to her and the two saluted. This time, she placed the lightsaber in a reversed grip.

"She's fighting like Gallade?" Serena asked.

"That's an interesting tactic." Cynthia noted.

Dawn spun the lightsaber around and charged at Gallade, who slashed back at her. She parried off his strikes with the lightsaber still held in reverse, managing to block all of his strikes as he slashed at her. Eventually, the two locked, before she pulled it into her left hand to push back at him. Throwing him off, she placed the lightsaber back into her right hand as Gallade leapt up to perform a flurry of slash attacks.

"Uh-oh." Dawn said, quickly deflecting all of the attacks, similarly to how she performed in the Ping-Pong Tournament. The attacks subsided after a while, allowing for her to make a wide slash. Gallade dodged and leapt at her blades first, to which she held up the lightsaber. As the two locked again, they circled around each other. Breaking off, she placed the lightsaber back into a reverse-grip, blocking strikes from high and low. Eventually, she thrust forward, but he caught the blade in between his own.

Dawn gasped and tried to pull free, but Gallade started to twist the blade around. As hard as she could, Dawn once again tried to pull away, but soon felt her own arm starting to twist. With no other choice left, she was forced to let go. However, as the blade started to drop, she dived down and caught the hilt before striking up, only for her to get pinned down, his blades piercing the hollow parts of her shirt.

Gallade chuckled and looked to Din, performing sign language as Dawn let out a sigh of relief.

"You were close, but not quite there," Din said. "He's amazed that you're all getting so far."

"Well, I gave it my best shot," Dawn said before she and Gallade bowed to each other. She walked to Din and handed him the lightsaber. "I know a Gallade, from one of my rivals. I wanted to know what it was like to fight one for myself."

Din nodded before Piplup waddled over to Dawn. She smiled and patted him before picking him up to join the others.

"So, Ash…" Serena said, noticing she and Ash were the only two left. "You want to go first?"

"What about you?" Ash asked. "You figure out a strategy?"

"Sort of," Serena said. "But when you find your own, I'll watch the whole way through." She said, getting up.

"Then I'll make sure I won't miss a moment of your battle!" Ash cheered.

"Wow," Iris said as Grogu pulled on one of Axew's tusks. "He's not the same from when he traveled with me and Cilan."

"He was different?" Clemont asked.

"Like a kid," Iris replied. Suddenly, a Pokéball flew past and hit her in the head. "Ow!" she cried out before seeing Grogu having pulled it from Brock. "Does my head have a target on it or something?!"

"Good luck." Cynthia said as Din handed Serena the lightsaber.

"Go, Serena!" Ash cheered.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered as well.

Serena blushed momentarily before looking to Gallade. The two bowed to each other before she turned the lightsaber on. After a few seconds passed of them staring each other down, she cartwheeled forward and slashed at him, landing in a perfect split. Dodging a few strikes from him, she leapt back up and slashed at him again, only for him to use both his blades to block. She used this chance to kick off of his arms and slash from above again, getting him to back away carefully.

"Wow," Dawn said as she and May watched, while Iris was rubbing her head. "She's pretty good."

"Those are some moves she uses when doing Performances," Ash explained. "And Bonnie, Clemont and I have been to every one of them."

"I think she knows what she's doing here." Clemont said.

Serena aimed the lightsaber at Gallade, who readied his own blades. The two ran sideways before he leapt to strike at her, but she spun away and slashed back, spinning through the air as she did. As he cartwheeled away, she swung with grace in each of her swings before slamming the lightsaber onto him. However, he held up his blades on his arms again, catching the blade like he did with Dawn.

"Oh no!" Dawn panicked. "That's what he did with me!"

"Not this time!" Serena exclaimed before backing away. Gallade watched as she deactivated the lightsaber, catching him off-guard. She reactivated the lightsaber again and slashed at his feet, only for him to jump up and slam down with his elbow.

Serena backed away, now starting to parry off the attacks. Making sure her footing was steady, she swerved under him and reversed her grip, blocking an attack from him before jumping up to land an attack. However, as soon as she landed, he dodged out of the way and used one of his arms to knock the lightsaber out of her hand. She tried to grab it while it was still falling, but he used his other blade to aim at her neck, getting her to stop, and the lightsaber to hit the ground.

"Guess that means I'm out then," Serena said, picking up the lightsaber. She looked to Gallade, who performed sign language at her. "Sorry, I don't know that much."

"He said he likes your style." Din said.

"Oh… thanks," Serena said, bowing to Gallade. Gallade bowed back before she handed the lightsaber to Din, who patted her on the shoulder. Smiling, she looked to Ash. "Good luck!" she cheered before joining the others.

"Okay, Evaluation Time is done," Ash said before looking to Pikachu. "I think I know what to do."

"Pika-Pikachu!" Pikachu said with a smile.

Ash walked over to Din while passing Serena. The two smiled at each other, Cynthia noticing.

"They've got quite the bond." Cynthia said.

Ash walked to Din, who handed him the lightsaber. "Best of luck." He said.

Ash nodded and took the lightsaber. As he did, his eyes suddenly turned blue, and he could see not Gallade in front of him, but an older man wielding a lightsaber, next to a girl with two green lightsabers and some sort of headpiece for hair. The two backed away, the girl revealing to have orange skin and the man with a scar over his eye. The two looked to Ash and nodded before a Jedi, armed with the lightsaber he was holding, charged through, with them following after him.

"Ash?" Din asked, snapping Ash out of his trance. "You okay?"

"You didn't see that?" Ash asked.

"See what?"

"Oh. Never mind, then," Ash said before walking to Gallade. He activated the lightsaber, which suddenly turned to a brighter blue glow before saluting him. "To a good battle." He said.

Gallade saluted back, amazed at how the lightsaber changed.

Both Ash and Gallade got into ready stances before Gallade charged. Ash felt his Aura pour through him again, and he dodged out of the way in time. Gallade tried to perform a reverse strike while his back was turned, but Ash blocked the attack, surprisingly fluidly, before backing away, now holding the lightsaber next to his head with two fingers aimed outwards.

"Whoa," Serena said. "Where'd this sudden boost come from?"

"I don't know," Brock said. "It's somehow new to me too."

Gallade looked to Ash before charging again. Ash lunged forward, countering his blade, before spinning back and onto one knee, where he held the lightsaber over his head. He leapt back and aimed it low, eyes fixated on Gallade.

Gallade narrowed his own eyes back as he and Ash circled each other. Soon, he swept his arm at him, but Ash blocked his attack before holding the lightsaber close to his head like a baseball bat. With the right timing, he slashed at Gallade, who barely had time to react as he raised his arm up. Ash and Gallade both held for a while before breaking off, Gallade feeling his arm before regaining his stance.

"Not bad, kid," Din said. "Keep it up."

Gallade slashed at Ash, but he slid under him, causing the two to aim their weapons carefully again. Gallade struck and spun around, but Ash continued to feel these new instincts kick in, and blocked each attack, before the two leapt up and kicked each other away, getting to a safe distance away from each other.

"Ash is getting real good." Dawn said.

"Keep it up!" Bonnie called out.

"Pika!" Pikachu called out as well.

Ash and Gallade circled around, the former twirling his weapon around. Soon, Gallade charged again, but Ash blocked his series of strikes before back-stepping from the next. With the right timing once again, he slashed at his blades, forcing Gallade to the ground.

"Whoa…" Ash said, trying to catch his breath. "I didn't think I even had it in me."

Gallade looked to the lightsaber blade before gesturing to Din. Ash noticed this and pulled his blade away before helping him up. Gallade and Ash bowed to each other before the former performed sign language to Din.

"What's going on now?" Ash asked.

"'This boy may not be a Jedi, but he fights with the heart of one'," Din translated. "'I have given you my word. I have been defeated. The boy may hold onto the lightsaber'."

"You did it, Ash!" Serena cheered.

"Yes!" Ash exclaimed, aiming the lightsaber into the air as Pikachu and Greninja ran up to him. "I just got a lightsaber!"

"Pi-Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered.

"Nin!" Greninja said approvingly.

All of a sudden, Din felt something happening. Everyone looked to him as he looked around.

"We're being watched." Din said.

Dawn took out her spear blaster while Cynthia let out her pistol. Ash looked to Pikachu and Greninja, nodding at them. The two Pokémon nodded back as Ash held the lightsaber at the ready.

Just then, an energy net cage flew down, trapping Gallade inside of it.

"Gallade!" Ash yelled. He looked around and aimed the lightsaber out. "Come on out!" he demanded.

"Prepare for trouble, you're not all that sharp."

"And make it double, we'll play you like a harp!"

"To strike with ferocity and swords ablaze."

"To ensure our greatness will never fade!"

"Don't play around, we don't want a head."

"For we prefer your Pokémon instead!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket raises their swords as showy as light."

"Surrender now or prepare for a metal-ringing fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Mime, Mime-Mime, Mime!"

"You again?" Din asked exasperatedly.

"Team Rocket?!" Ash exclaimed. "You're not getting Grogu this time!"

"Put that thing down, or you'll lose an eye, Twerp," James said. "It's this Gallade we want."

"Dank Farrik!" Ash exclaimed, causing Din to look at him.

"Not sure what that means, but whoa!" Jessie exclaimed as Team Rocket felt like they had heard an extremely offensive insult.

"I see I've said too much." Din said.

"An extra bonus for when we train Grogu ourselves," Meowth spoke up. "You're really good with that laser sword, or lightsaber, whatever it's called, but now that you're all tuckered out…"

"It's time we take this chap with the strong blades and do what we do best!" James bragged.

Din looked to Gallade, keeping his blaster ready to fire. However, Gallade performed sign language at him. Din nodded before taking out his Pokéball and releasing his Rhyhorn, putting his blaster away at the same time.

"What's going on here?" James asked.

Rhyhorn looked around and let out a roar, but Din suddenly let out a roar of his own, getting his Pokémon to calm down.

"Where did that come from?" Iris asked curiously.

"Axew, ew." Axew wondered as well.

Din walked up to Rhyhorn, scratching his chin. Rhyhorn growled affectionately before he performed sign language to him.

"Um… someone translate please?" Jessie asked nervously.

"Wait… I know what that is!" Ash exclaimed, seeing the motion Din was, motioning towards the air before crashing down. "Pikachu, use Electro-Ball!"

"Pika!" Pikachu yelled before shooting lightning into the sky. Team Rocket watched before Rhyhorn did the same, both bolts shooting the cage controller away and freeing Gallade.

"Ga! Lade!" Gallade exclaimed, getting ready despite his condition.

"Great!" James exclaimed angrily.

"Yeah," Meowth said nervously. "Gallade ain't too happy that we are gonna try to train Grogu, or that we tried to take him! He's really angry right now!"

"Lade! Lade! Gah-Lade!" Gallade called out, charging up his blades, causing them to glow blue. He sent several energy slashes at Team Rocket, but Jessie threw Wobbuffet in front.

"Wobbuffet, use Counter!" Jessie ordered.

"Wobba!" Wobbuffet called out, sending one of the attacks back.

"Gallade just used Solar Blade!" Brock exclaimed.

Gallade stood ready as his attack was sent back at him. Suddenly, the lightsaber was thrown, absorbing the blast, before it circled around like a boomerang,

"Who did that?!" Jessie exclaimed.

"That would be me!" Ash yelled, his Aura now showing. Everyone looked to him as he caught the lightsaber before going alongside Din. "Your move, Team Rocket!"

"Gourgeist, show that Twerp manners with Seed Bomb!" Jessie ordered, releasing her Gourgeist.

"Gor… Geist!" Gourgeist called out, sending forth her Seed Bomb attack.

Ash ran forward, cutting through the attack before Din sent forth fire from his flamethrower, sending Gourgeist and Wobbuffet back.

"Now, Greninja, use Double Team!" Ash ordered.

Greninja, who started to glow as well, used Double Team, and changed form to resemble Ash. Everyone except for Serena, Clemont and Bonnie gasped in surprise at what had happened before Gallade copied the same move.

"Now, use Water Shuriken, and follow through with Cut!" Ash ordered, swinging his lightsaber. Greninja seemed to copy his moves as he charged in, sending Water Shurikens at Team Rocket before Gallade charged up his blades again.

"What Move is that?" Clemont asked.

Din looked to Gallade. "You know what you're doing?" he asked.

Gallade nodded and charged forward, letting out several sonic slashes with his clones. Wobbuffet and Gourgeist were sent back once again, this time crashing into Jessie, James and Meowth.

"Send them running, Ash." Din said, stepping aside.

"Pikachu, finish it with Thunderbolt!" Ash yelled.

"Pika!" Pikachu called out as he leapt up. "Pika…. CCCCCHHHUUUUUUUU!"

Team Rocket screamed as the Thunderbolt hit them, causing an explosion that sent them off the ground.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIIIIINNNNNNN!"

"Wobbuffet!"

With a star twinkle in the sky, Team Rocket disappeared.

"How does that not even kill them?" Din asked curiously.

"It's enough to give them a jolt and send them running," Ash explained. "They've just grown that immune to it over time, I guess." He said before falling on his knee as Greninja did the same.

"Pi-Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed, running to Ash.

"You overdid it again!" Serena exclaimed, running over with Dawn and May.

"How did you do that?" May asked.

"Long story," Ash replied before turning to Gallade. "You okay, Gallade?"

"Gal." Gallade replied, nodding his head.

"Thank you, for everything," Din said, looking to Gallade. "I can see why you didn't use any moves in the tests. You would have won easily."

"Not to mention he's got Beskar like you." Iris added on.

Gallade turned to Iris before looking to Grogu. Turning back to Din, he performed sign language as Rhyhorn was recalled.

"What's he saying?" Bonnie asked.

"He's curious about me, my Pokémon, and how I expect to train Grogu," Din replied. "He wants a hand in helping. He wants to come… with me?"

"He wants you to capture him!" Cynthia realized.

Din took out an empty Pokéball. "You sure?" he asked.

"Lade." Gallade said, nodding.

Din nodded and held the Pokéball out. "Welcome aboard."

Gallade tapped his arm against the Pokéball. As he did, he performed one more sign language before being pulled in.

"What did he say?" Clemont asked.

Cynthia smiled and performed the sign language for everyone. "'This is the way'."

"Awesome! You have a third Pokémon now!" Ash exclaimed.

"By the way," Clemont said, picking up the data drive. "I got a bit of what was on here."

"There any logs?"

"Just this one," Clemont said, pressing a few buttons. "Look."

"This is Jedi Master Calem Xavier to Masters Kenobi and Yoda," the voice of a man said. "This frequency cannot be detected by the Clones. I have pulled out of Hyperspace away from the route to the Temple, but I will be unable to join you. My tracking beacon was jammed to repeating, and until it stops, I will be leading the Empire to you. I must take refuge on this Planet, name unknown. R9 and I will abandon our craft, as I will abandon my weapon, to cover my tracks. When the time is right, I will come and find you. Until then, may the Force be with you." He said before the transmission ended.

"A Jedi on the run?" Cynthia asked. "But why?"

"More mysteries to be solved," Din said. "Something tells me this Planet has more to it than I thought."

"Now you have us to help you," Ash said. "So don't count us out yet," he said before looking to his lightsaber. "We're trained, and we have a weapon that can help take down the Empire if they try to take Grogu."

"We're with you all the way," Dawn said. "You know it… this is the way."

Din nodded. "This is the way," he said. "You have spoken."

Everyone got back into the Razor Crest soon and flew off. Inside, Ash looked to everyone crowded around him before activating the lightsaber. Everyone looked to it with wonder as it shone in the air.

On the Light Cruiser, now entering the Planet, Commander Lyste walked towards one of the quarters, where his shadowed superior was resting, each gear on his prosthetics turning.

"Report."

"One of our Probe Droids have spotted the Mandalorian with the Asset," Lyste said. "It would seem that it is being protected by children with unknown creatures… one child with an extent of knowledge… on how to use a lightsaber."

"A Jedi, or a Youngling?"

"I am uncertain, but I feel your recoveries should accelerate so you can deal with this… personally… Inquisitor."

The superior stepped out, revealing to be someone with dark armor and a helmet. Most of his limbs were replaced with prosthetics, and he had a lightsaber with a disc guard around it, as well as two emitters on both ends, making a total of six emitters on the weapon.

"Inform Moff Gideon."

"Yes, Eighth Brother."
