Maze laughed hysterically after Lucifer told her what he found in his bedroom and how the two humans got there. She'd immediately burst out laughing. "This is great. Your daddy made you a girlfriend.
Lucifer gave Maze a withering glare that would've had most falling to the ground in fear. "Watch yourself, Mazikeen."
Maze ignored him and continued to laugh. She didn't care what Lucifer did to her. Any punishment was worth this. God had essentially set his son up with an arranged marriage and threw a kid in as an added bonus. The only thing that could've made Maze's day better is if she actually got to see his face when he realized all of that. "Maybe Daddy's sick of you having sex with every human you come across during your trips to Earth. He decided to help you out a little.
"I am warning you!" Lucifer snarled, eyes blazing with rage.
Maze decided to back off a little when she saw his eyes change. "Fine, I'm done for now. Look, if it pisses you off so much, get rid of them. You've got wings. Fly them back to Earth. Problem solved."
Lucifer continued to glare. "Oh, yes, that's perfect. Because my father would just leave it at that. As my second in command, you should be smarter than that! The bastard would only send them back."
"You could put them in a cell. I'm sure the woman has something to feel guilty about, even if the kid would be unaffected.
"I will not put innocent humans in cells to be tortured! I punish the guilty!" Lucifer snarled. He hated that he was forced to deal with this, and he resented the woman for her mere presence, but he was not going to put a living human in a cell, and certainly not a child. He supposed he shouldn't expect Maze to have the same convictions though. She was a demon who had no experience with living humans.
"What do you wanna do then?" Maze asked.
"I've called for my brother, and I will keep doing so until he comes and gets rid of them," Lucifer said. He'd prayed to Amenadiel about five times in the last two hours. So far, the bastard was ignoring him, just as his father was, but he knew he could annoy his brother enough to answer.
Maze snorted. "You think that daddy's boy is gonna help you?"
Lucifer ignored her before praying once again, telling Amenadiel to get himself down there, and promising not to stop calling him until he did. He didn't care if he had to call the bloody bastard every five minutes until he showed up. Unlike their father, eventually, Amenadiel would get tired of it and show his face.
It didn't take long for Lucifer was proven right. Amenadiel showed up less than ten minutes later looking less than pleased. "What do you want?"
Lucifer returned his brother's glare, speaking in a low, yet infuriated glare. "Get. Them. Out!"
Amenadiel's anger and annoyance were joined by confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"Do not act like an idiot! Get them out of here, and tell Father he can shove his bloody gift up his backside!" Lucifer snarled.
Amenadiel laughed mockingly at his brother. "Like Father would ever give you a gift. You've lost your mind."
"Yes, well, the very live humans in my quarters prove otherwise. The woman claims Dad specifically told she was meant to be some sort of gift to me. Get them out!" Lucifer yelled again.
"That's impossible. Father would never lower himself to speaking with a human, and he certainly never gift one to you. I don't know what you hope to gain with such lies, but…"
"I do not lie!" Lucifer snarled before grabbing his brother boy the robe and shoving him to the other side of the corridor, causing the wall to rumble.
Amenadiel immediately got up and advanced on his brother.
Maze growled as she got in the middle of the two brothers. She crouched down in an attack stance and held two of her blades towards him.
"Move, Demon! I can end you in a moment!" Amenadiel said coldly.
"Enough! I want the humans gone!" Lucifer yelled.
Amenadiel turned back to his brother. This seemed like a peculiar game for his brother to play, but he could not think of any scenario where his father would gift Lucifer with humans. He shouldn't want to gift the Devil with anything, let alone humans. Again though, it didn't make sense for his brother to claim so if it weren't true. For all his sins, Lucifer was correct about one thing. He never lied. "Why would Father do this?
"Ask him yourself. Do so after you've removed the humans from my realm," Lucifer demanded.
"No. I am sure you are wrong, and I will ask Father about it, but if you are right, I will not circumvent Father's will," Amenadiel told.
"I don't give a damn about his bloody will!" Lucifer yelled.
"You will accept whatever gift father has deemed to give you and be grateful!" Amenadiel said coldly.
"I do not answer to you or him, Brother. I will accept nothing from him," Lucifer said stubbornly.
Amenadiel smirked at him. "You don't have a choice. If these humans are a gift, it's not as if you can send it back. Even if I wanted to help you, and returned them to Earth, Father would just send them back to you. Not that I would ever go against him for you."
"Get out! And tell the bastard that his 'gift' is not wanted!" Lucifer said fumingly.
"I will pass on your feelings on the matter, and make sure you are not mistaken, but if you're not, I wouldn't expect much," Amenadiel said before summoning his wings and disappearing.
Lucifer slammed his fist into one of the walls in anger.

Despite the Devil's warning not to leave, Chloe did attempt to find a way out of his home. She figured that any danger out there couldn't be worse than the danger she and her daughter faced from the Devil himself, and she refused to be a sitting duck. However, when she tried the door located off the living room, she found that it was locked. He had obviously foreseen that she would try to leave. There didn't appear to be any other means of escape either. There were no windows or other doors that led outside.
Chloe settled for looking around her current prison for the time being. It didn't look like Hell. It looked like a normal house. Well, actually, it looked like a quite luxurious house. It was large with expensive looking furniture and decorations. It had a living room and a kitchen, along with at least the two bedrooms she and Trixie came out of. The kitchen was stocked with food. Actually, it appeared to be stocked with everything her kitchen had, making her wonder if that was by design.
"Mommy?" a voice called.
Chloe turned to see the daughter in the doorway of the kitchen, carrying a stuffed bear. "Hey, Monkey. I told you to stay in the other room."
"I know, but that was a while ago. Where are we?" Trixie asked.
"Uh, that's a really long story. Hey, Trixie, where'd your bear come from? You didn't have him when we were brought here, did you?" Chloe asked.
"He was in my room here. All my stuff is. It looks almost exactly like my old room," Trixie said.
Chloe nodded. It seemed that God was thoughtful enough to at least make her daughter comfortable, not that that made him any less than a dick.
"How long are we staying here? Are we going home today?" Trixie asked.
"Probably not," Chloe said. She hated it, but it didn't seem likely that they would be leaving anytime soon.
Chloe soon heard a door open and close. She immediately pulled Trixie to her body. Moments later, she saw the Devil come into view.
Trixie smiled at the man and tried to get closer, but her mom wouldn't let her. "Hi."
"Stay away from my daughter," Chloe said as she took a step back with Trixie in her grip.
"Gladly," Lucifer said. As if he wanted to do anything with the child. He hated children. He'd seen the way they acted enough during his trips to Earth. They got into everything, and they went crazy at any given moment. The last thing he wanted was one close to his person.
"I'm Trixie. Is this your house?" Trixie asked.
Lucifer frowned at the child's mother. "You humans are strange. Why would you name your offspring after a hooker?"
"What's that mean?" Trixie asked.
Chloe gently pushed Trixie towards the hallway. "Go back to the other room, baby. I'll be there soon."
Trixie sighed before doing what her mom asked.
"You locked us in," Chloe said to Lucifer, while making sure to keep a distance between them.
"Indeed, and the fact that you know that is why I had to. I had a feeling you'd stupidly try to leave, where you'd be found and tortured by any number of demons," Lucifer said.
"I'd rather take that risk than stay here with you," Chloe said.
Lucifer ignored her and walked further into the kitchen. He noticed a bottle of Scotch on the counter and smiled slightly. "Well, it seems Dad is good for something. I would've been happy if this was the only gift he left me."
"What are you planning to do?" Chloe asked.
"Right now? Get as drunk as my celestial makeup will allow," Lucifer retorted as he poured himself a glass of Scotch.
"I mean with us," Chloe said in frustration.
"Well, certainly not what my father wishes. No offense, Darling, but you will be the first woman I will not be sleeping with," Lucifer said.
Chloe snorted. "You think I want that."
Lucifer shrugged. "Most women do, some men as well. I enjoy them as well. I'm not picky. However, I will not allow my father to manipulate me by being with you."
"I wouldn't let you touch me anyway," Chloe said. Of course, in the back of her mind, she realized she couldn't stop him if he really wanted to, so a part of her was grateful he didn't. "I didn't ask to be your damned gift! Apparently your asshole of a father doesn't realize that women are not property for men to be given as some sort of price anymore."
"He doesn't care about anything other than his own plans. We agree on something though. My father is an asshole. Finally someone else is shown proof," Lucifer said.
"If you don't want us then take us home," Chloe said.
Lucifer laughed at her. "As though it were that easy. My father dumped you here with barely a thought. He would do it again in a moment if I brought you back to Earth. I don't feel like wasting my energy. It seems for now anyway, my dear, we're both screwed."
Chloe watched him exit the room with bottle of Scotch in his hand before hanging her head in defeat. She then walked towards the hallway to find Trixie.
