On a normal day in Great Lakes City, a barbeque was going on, hosted by the family everyone known as 'The Kendalls', everyone in attendance was a tenant at the apartment building. "I'll go ahead and have a hot dog, sir!" Said CJ as he was handed a hot dog on a bun onto his plate by 'Ortego', who was cooking on the grill. "Certainly, CJ!" 'Ortego' said, handing the Down Syndrome boy a hot dog fresh off the grill. "Thanks!" Said CJ as he then went over to a table filled with chips, crackers, pretzels, fruits, vegetables, and condiments, so that he would add more to his meal. *Groan* "I literally can't believe we're doing this!" Cocidia, in her Corrina Kendall disguise said as she approached Orgullo. "You know full well why we're doing this, Cocidia." Orgullo whispered.
Flashback
Cocidia, in her Corrina Kendall disguise walked into the apartment. "There you are. We need to talk." Orgullo said, catching the Pecadiablo of Greed's attention. "Yes, Orgullo?" Cocidia asked nervously. "I need a word with you." Orgullo said, shifting to his natural form, Cocidia doing the same. "Tell me, sister. How well do you think your human disguise is holding up?" The Pecadiablo of Pride asked. "Well, so far, nobody got suspicious, even after I got bitten by that snake Animarius, Mambana!" Cocidia answered honestly. "Oh, really?" Orgullo asked, raising his hand, his messenger bat resting on his arm. "Then how do you explain, this!?" Orgullo asked as the bat opened his mouth. Once it opened his mouth, the messenger bat immediately played the conversation between Adelaide and Lunastura he had recorded earlier. "Wait a minute! Are you saying Corrina is actually Cocidia in disguise?!" Lunastura's voice rang out. "Like I said, it could be a coincidence, but..." Adelaide's voice rang out.
"It seems that LuchaSilver is too smart for her own good." Orgullo said. "Now wait a minute, she said it could be a coincidence!" Cocidia pointed out. "It doesn't matter! If the Lucharangers figure out who you are, it's only a matter of time before they realize who we are! And if that happens, everything will be ruined!" Orgullo pointed out. That caused Cocidia to gulp in fright. "We need something to throw the Lucharangers off the tracks." Orgullo said. "Ooh! Ooh! I got one! How about a barbecue?!" Gloton suggested after overhearing Orgullo's conversation with Cocidia. "Figures that would what you'd suggest, Gloton." Cocidia said. "Actually, that's a good idea. We can throw one and invite everyone in the building, and while everyone's busy, we can send someone to attack, and pretend to attack us!" Orgullo said. "Okay, but who do we send?" Cocidia asked. "You leave that for me to worry about." Orgullo said.
End Flashback
"I hope you know what you're doing, brother." Cocidia said. "Relax, Cocidia. The soldiers I summoned are experts in this kind of strategy." Orgullo said. "Oh, no. Please tell me you don't mean the Tengu Twins!" Cocidia said. "That's exactly who I mean!" Orgullo said. "That's exactly what I was afraid of!" Cocidia replied in worry. Meanwhile, Ronnie Anne, Sid, Carl, and Adelaide were hanging out. "Shame the others couldn't be here." Adelaide said. "Yeah! Casey is currently having a date at the zoo with Jalissa while Sameer is dating Nikki at the movies!" Sid noted. "And Laird, what is Laird doing again?" Ronnie Anne asked. "He's a little bit busy with his homework for the moment, but he said that he'll join us as soon as he's done!" Sid answered. "It sure was nice of Ortego to invite us all to this barbeque!" Carl said, munching on a hot dog. "Yeah, my eldest brother thought it would be a good way to pay your families back for helping Eliza and Corrina with their injuries!" 'Eric' said as he sat next to the group with some hot dogs on his plate. "Well be sure to tell Ortego he's an awesome cook, these Hot Dogs are amazing! Slight second to Bruno's but still." Sid said."Glad you like them! I'll be sure to tell him that later!" 'Eric' replied as he then ate a hot dog.
Adelaide had a quizzical look on her face. "Are you okay, Adelaide?" Sid asked. "Yeah, I've just got to go use the restroom, I'll be right back." Adelaide said. "Okay! Just don't take too long, Adelaide! There's going to be dessert coming in afterwards!" Sid said. "Will do!" Adelaide said. Unbeknownst to any of them, two figures were watching from above. One of them was a red winged humanoid with a human-like face, a white moustache and beard, and a long nose and wearing purple knight armor while the other one was a blue winged humanoid with a bird-like head and wearing black knight armor. "Yes, brother! We swoop in and crash the barbecue!" The red one said in eagerness. "And pretend to attack Master Orgullo and the others." The Blue one reminded him. "Oh, right! Of course!" The red one replied sheepishly.
Meanwhile...
"Are you sure we shouldn't tell them about our suspicions, Adelaide?" Lunastura asked Adelaide from outside a bathroom door. "It's like I told you before Lulu. It's only circumstantial evidence, and it wouldn't be right to charge someone based solely on that." Adelaide answered. "True! But still, you should at least let our friends and allies know about it, including AkaRed!" Lunastura pointed out. "I know, Lulu, it's just, I feel I need more evidence first. Like I said, it could just be a coincidence." Adelaide said, washing her hands and stepping out. Soon, Adelaide was back with the group. "Hey, Ronnie Anne, Sid, Carl, there's something I need to talk to you guys about. Do you mind, Eric?" Adelaide asked politely. "Um, sure! Go ahead!" Said 'Eric' as he walked away from the group. But he used his enhanced hearing to eavesdrop. "What's up, Adelaide?" Sid asked. "Well, I-" Adelaide started saying before several explosions could be heard. "Oh, What Now?!" Adelaide asked in frustration.
Everyone looked to see the Tengu Twins flying above. "Really, Orgullo? Those two?" 'Eric' muttered. "Humans! We are the Tengu Twins!" The Blue one said. "I am Tengai! The Red Tengu!" The Red Tengu known as Tengai announced. "And I am Tengoro! The Blue Tengu!" The Blue Tengu known as Tengoro announced. "Tengu?" Carl asked in confusion. "It's a type of mythical creature from Japanese folklore." Mr. Nakamura said. "There are actually two different types of Tengu! Tengai is clearly based on the Daitengu, which are physically known for being primarily humanoid with bird wings on their backs, bright red skin, white moustaches and beards, and a very long nose! Tengoro, on the other hand, is clearly based on the Kotengu, which are also winged humanoids, but with bird-like heads instead, usually like those of crows!" Corey Nakamura explained. "Oh great, sounds like the Pecadiablos have taken Japanese mythology classes." Ronnie Anne muttered.
"Uh, we CAN hear you from here!" Tengai said in annoyance. "Ignore them, stick to the plan!" Tengoro said, noticing the human forms of the Pecadiablo main group, putting on an impressive show of fear. "Oh, Right! Sorry, brother!" Tengai said in apology. "Just be sure to remember Master Orgullo's orders and make it convincing!" Tengoro said. "Right!" Said Tengai. The two landed down in front of the 'Kendalls'. "Alright, you humans! Time to taste our blades!" Tengai declared as he and Tengoro unsheaved their swords, with Tengai's being covered in flames and Tengoro's being covered in ice. The Pecadiablos backed up in pseudo fear. "I can't believe we're having to do this." Iracundo said angrily. "Don't blame me, blame Cocidia!" Orgullo said. That caused Cocidia to chuckle nervously. "They're after the Kendalls!" Ronnie Anne said. "Huh, maybe it was just a coincidence." Adelaide muttered. "Mr. Nakamura, Cory, can you guys get everyone to safety?" Sid asked. "Of course, Sid!" Mr. Nakamura said. "Be careful, you guys!" Cory said as the two ran off. "Don't worry! We will!" Said Ronnie Anne as the Nakamuras immediately got everyone, minus the 'Kendalls', to safety. "So, what's the plan, prima?" Carl asked. "For now, protect the Kendalls! Sid and I will handle the blue one, you guys take care of the red one!" Ronnie Anne instructed.
"Fine by me!" Carl replied. "Careful, you guys! Those two are strong, especially when together!" Jaxondor explained. "Yeah, Tengai is a fire manipulator while Tengoro is an ice manipulator!" Ailuxucara explained. "Thanks for the heads up, Jax, Ailu!" Sid said. "You're welcome!" Said Jaxondor and Ailuxucara. "Now let's go!" Ronnie Anne said as they ran towards the two Tengus. After she, Sid, Carl, and Adelaide ran towards the Tengu Twins, Ronnie Anne shouted "Hold it right there, you feather brains!", causing Tengai and Tengoro to stop what they were doing and turn around to see the four Lucharangers heading towards them. "Sir, take your family and get out of here!" Sid instructed 'Ortego'. "Gladly!" Said 'Ortego' as he then got himself and his siblings out of harm's way while the Tengu Twins were distracted.
Back with the Lucharangers...
They were dodging and weaving away from the Tengu Twins' sword strikes. "Dang these guys are fast!" Ronnie Anne said. "Yeah, no kidding! They are practically as fast as the wind!" Sid noted. "Then we'll have to be just as fast!" Ronnie Anne said, pulling out the Kakuranger key. "Right!" Sid said, pulling out the Hurricanger key. "Good idea!" Adelaide said, pulling out the Ninninger key while Carl prepared to enter Supernova mode. "As fun as this is, we've got a prior obligation to take care of!" Tengoro said, dragging his brother away. "Oh, Come On! I Was Just Getting Warmed Up!" Tengai complained while being dragged away by Tengoro. "Cowards!" Carl shouted. "We'd better get back to the temple and let AkaRed know about this!" Ronnie Anne suggested. "I'll call the others and let them know." Sid said as they summoned the Storm Blitzer, Sound Breaker, Solar Speedster, and Lunar Racer and drove off to the temple. Meanwhile, at the Great Lakes City Zoo, Casey and Jalissa were in the middle of their date. "So, what did AkaRed find out about who carelessly threw away the DaiVoyager blueprints in the first place?" Jalissa asked. "Well, after he visited the Boukengers' home base, which is a facility/museum for an organization called the Search Guard Successor Foundation or S.G.S, and gathered the Boukengers, their technician ally Makino Morio, and their mentor Mr. Voice together while showing them footage of our battle against The Garbageman and his Garbotron, it turns out that it wasn't actually the Boukengers that threw the blueprints away! It was actually Makino Morio who did it, after he had mistaken the blueprints for old papers and unintentionally put them in a trashbag before throwing it out, though he had forgotten to tie that bag up before he threw out, which must have caused the blueprints to be carried away by a gust of wind before it found its way to an interdimensional portal that lead straight into Junk World, where it was found by the Ugatz and eventually became the basis for The Garbageman's flying battleship that would transform into Garbotron!" Casey explained. "Whoa! So, how did they all react once they saw the footage and found about how the blueprints got to Junk World?" Jalissa asked in surprise.
"They were not happy to say the least, especially Boukenred, Satoru Akashi. Heck, even Mr. Voice, who is this digital avatar of sorts, was so mad that he literally turned red with anger! But, once AkaRed explained that the imitation had been destroyed, they were happy." Casey said. "Good." Jalissa said. "Of course, Morio wasn't exactly let off the hook as he was then punished for his mistake by having to clean the museum floors with a toothbrush!" Casey explained. "Ouch! Talk about harsh!" Jalissa winced after hearing that. "Yeah! Well, it could have been worse! Morio would have been fired!" Casey said "True!" Said Jalissa. "What about you? How's your mom doing?" Casey asked. "She's doing great, had an ultrasound done yesterday, and while it's still too early to tell if I'm getting a brother or sister, the doctor said everything was normal and progressing well." Jalissa said. "That's great to hear, Jalissa!" Casey said. "Thanks, I'm so excited. But also, a little nervous." Jalissa admitted. "Yeah, well, while I am an only child, I get the feeling of nervousness!" Said Casey. "But hey, why don't you ask Sid for advice? Or better yet, our friend in Royal Woods, Lincoln has ten sisters, five of which are younger, I'm sure he could offer advice as well." Casey suggested.
"Thanks, Casey! I'll try to ask them when I get the chance!" Jalissa replied in delight. "You're welcome!" Said Casey. Just then, Casey's phone started ringing. "Hello?" Casey asked. "Sid? What's up? Really? Now?!" Casey asked in frustration. "What's wrong, Casey?" Jalissa asked in confusion. "It seems the barbeque the Kendalls were throwing got crashed by the Pecadiablos." Casey said with regret. "Even worse, the culprits behind the attack, called Tengai and Tengoro a.k.a. the Tengu Twins, had escaped before Ronnie Anne, Sid, Carl, and Adelaide could fight them any further!" He added. "That's got to be a bruise to the ego." Jalissa said. "Yeah! Definitely!" Said Casey. "Do you want to go to the temple and meet up with them? I can come along with you, if you want!" Jalissa offered. "Thanks!" Casey said. Then, after exiting the zoo, Casey immediately summoned the Metal Striker and then hopped in it while Jalissa sat on top of his lap. "Hang on!" Casey said as he drove off. Meanwhile, Sameer and Nikki had just exited out of the movie theater after seeing the newest movie "The Batman". "Man, who would have thought Robert Pattinson of all people could have made such a great Batman?" Nikki asked.
"Yeah! And that version of the Riddler feels quite different from past incarnations of the character, both from the movies, comics, and TV series!" Sameer added. "Interesting how they chose to make Catwoman Bi." Nikki noted. "Yeah! I totally did not see that one coming!" Sameer noted in agreement. "Good thing Lujuria didn't see that!" Nikki said with a laugh as her phone started ringing. "Oh, hold on It's Sid." She said, answering the phone. "Hey, girl. What's up?" Nikki asked. "Guys! The Kendalls' barbecue has just been crashed by two new Pecadiablos named Tengai and Tengoro, collectively known as the Tengu Twins!" Sid answered through the phone. "Seriously? How have those freaks not learned by now?" Nikki complained as Regaluco appeared on her shoulder. "Tengai and Tengoro, they're both members of Orgullo's army!" She said as Batelegong appeared. "And incredibly difficult to deal with." He said. "Especially, since they are as fast as the wind and they each manipulate a different element, fire for Tengai and ice for Tengoro!" Batelegong added. "Yeah, we learned that pretty quick. Anyway, we're all meeting up at the temple to discuss strategy for when they return." Sid said.
"Right! We're on our way!" Said Nikki. They summoned the Sand Streaker and Crystal Cruiser, hopped in, and drove off. Meanwhile, at Laird's Mansion, Laird was in his room finishing up on his homework. "Phew! Finally! Now to sit back, relax, and-" Laird said as his phone went off. He noticed Sid's number. "Hello?" Laird asked. "Ah man! Alright, I'll be there." Laird said. "Change of plans, Pecadiablos on the loose." Laird told Leaquilfin. "Which ones?" Leaquilfin asked in confusion. "Apparently, they are these two new Pecadiablos called the Tengu Twins and their individual names are Tengai and Tengoro!" Laird answered, much to Leaquilfin's chagrin. *Groan* "Not those two!" Leaquilfin complained. "You know them, Quill?" Laird asked. "They're part of Orgullo's army. They're both incredibly strong. Tengai can manipulate fire, while Tengoro can manipulate Ice." Leaquilfin explained. "Not to mention that they are also as fast as the wind!" He added. "We'd better go after them, then!" Laird said, jumping out his window and summoning the Mind Booster before racing off.
Meanwhile, at the Kendall Apartment...
"Excellent work, you two." Orgullo told Tengai and Tengoro. "That should keep the Lucharangers off our backs for a while." He said, looking at Cocidia in disappointment. "Thank You, Master Orgullo!" The Tengu Twins said while bowing in respect. "Now if you'll excuse us..." Tengai said. "We've got a plan of our own to put forward!" Tengoro said. "Plan? What plan are they talking about?" Gloton asked Orgullo in confusion. "You'll see!" Tengai said as they flew out the window. "This I've got to see." Orgullo said, shifting to his demon form and following.
At The Temple...
Casey, Jalissa, Sameer, Nikki, and Laird had just arrived and hopped off from the LuchaKarts. "Okay, so we've got insanely fast Pecadiablos that are also insanely dangerous especially when together." Ronnie Anne said. "Worst part is, unlike Cupidark and Erostar, Scyllana and Charybdisa, these two are never apart!" Jaxondor said. "Plus, from what Mr. Nakamura and Cory told us, Tengai and Tengoro are based off two different variants of a Japanese mythical creature called a Tengu, with Tengai being based off of a Daitengu, which had a human-like head with red skin, a white moustache and beard, and a long nose, and Tengoro being based off of a Kotengu, which had a bird-like head!" Sid explained. "So, what's the plan?" Casey asked. "Since they could be anywhere in the city, I think it'd be best if we split up. Sid and I will take the Storm Blitzer and Sound Breaker and search the North end of the city, Casey and Laird will take the Metal Striker and Mind Booster, taking the West end, Sameer and Nikki will take the Sand Streaker and Crystal Cruiser searching the East end, and Carl and Adelaide will take the Solar Speedster and Lunar Racer to the South end." Ronnie Anne instructed. "For each team, one will be in the air, the other on the streets." She added. When AkaRed heard everything, he decided to approach the Lucharangers to give them some advice. "Just to let you all know, the Tengu motif has been used by several different enemy monsters that faced off against previous Super Sentai teams, usually in the form of the Daitengu!" AkaRed informed.
"These guys aren't even original? Great." Sid said sarcastically. "Well, the Kotengu motif is somewhat original, since previous Tengu-themed enemies are based on the Daitengu, like I said before! Of course, that doesn't mean that you should underestimate Tengu in general, since they are known to be experts in martial arts, sometimes being cited as the origins of Secret Arts such as Ninja techniques! Plus, they are known to create powerful gusts of wind against their enemies!" AkaRed noted. "Either way, we need to find them. Laird, Nikki, Carl and I will be the ones in the air, everyone else will be taking to the streets." Ronnie Anne said. "Right!" Said Sid, Casey, Sameer, Nikki, Laird, Carl, and Adelaide. "By the way, since I'm here, do you guys mind if I stay here and have a look around the base while you guys are out looking for those Tengu Twins?" Jalissa asked. "Help yourself!" Ronnie Anne said. "And I need to speak with you before you go, Adelaide." AkaRed said. "Oh! Sure, AkaRed!" Said Adelaide. "I'll catch up to you guys in a minute." Adelaide said as AkaRed lead her to a different area. "What's up, AkaRed?" Adelaide asked. "I understand you may have found out some information about the Pecadiablos." AkaRed said.
"Oh! Yes! Well, you see, I was having a hunch that Corrina Kendall was actually Cocidia in disguise, since I saw that Corrina's injuries were wrapped in the same areas as where Mambana had bitten Cocidia! Plus, I had gotten more suspicious when I saw Mambana bite General Ophiucus in the base of his neck and saw the same bite marks on him as Cocidia had!" Adelaide explained. "But then, at the barbeque, the Tengu Twins prepared to attack the Kendalls, so I figured it probably was just a coincidence." Adelaide said. "I wouldn't be so sure." AkaRed said, holding up two Sentai Keys. "I have here two keys, one representing the Kaito Sentai Lupinranger, the other the Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. Two different Sentai who exist alongside each other." AkaRed said. "Okay, but what am I supposed to do with them and how are they going to help me?" Adelaide asked in confusion. "Let me explain something to you, Adelaide. Kaito means 'Phantom thief', while Keisatsu means 'Police'. While they both fight an enemy group known as Ganglar, they also have a rivalry with each other. However, for most of the time, the Patrangers had no idea of the Lupinrangers' true identities, this is because even outside of their suits, they wore disguises. The only Patranger who knew the Lupinrangers identities for a while was Patran X, Noel Takao, but that's only because he was playing both sides, sometimes he's Patran X, other times, he's Lupin X." AkaRed said.
"Whoa! You mean like a double agent, right?!" Adelaide asked in surprise. "Pretty much. Of course, both sides knew about this, but that's not the point. The Patrangers tend to frequent a little cafe that for a while, they didn't know was run by the Lupinrangers, however, one day, Patran Sangou, Tsukasa Myoujin, noticed the three had similar behaviors to the Lupinrangers." AkaRed explained. "She was certain she might have found the Lupinrangers' identities and made Patran Ichigo and Patran Nigo help her bust them. However, the Lupinrangers were smart, and with some clever trickery involving their ally, Kogure, they were able to get the Patrangers to drop the idea and get them off their backs. It wasn't until the Lupinrangers willingly revealed their identities did they realize just how right Tsukasa was." AkaRed said. "What are you saying?" Adelaide asked. "I'm saying you shouldn't brush off suspicions so easily. You never know what is real." AkaRed said as he disappeared, surprising Adelaide. "And what is fake." AkaRed, in his Lupin Red form, holding the Magic Dial Fighter in his VS Changer said behind some trees.
"I see! Then, perhaps the Pecadiablos had staged the barbecue attack in order throw off my suspicions!" Adelaide surmised. "It wouldn't be the first time a Super Sentai Villain group has pulled off such trickery and deceit." AkaRed said. "But without better evidence, you can't prove anything, unfortunately." AkaRed said. "Yeah, you're right! I'd better be careful and find more evidence before I can expose the Pecadiablos' human identities!" Adelaide noted. "Feel free to share this information with the others. This affects them as well." AkaRed said, shifting back to his regular form. "Right, thanks AkaRed!" Adelaide said, rushing back to the others. "So, what did AkaRed wanted to talk about with you?" Sid asked in curiosity. "I'll explain later." Adelaide said, hopping into the Lunar Racer and driving off. "Okay, let's go ahead and find the Tengu Twins now, shall we?" Said Ronnie Anne as she and the rest of the Lucharangers hopped into their LuchaKarts and drove off as well.
In Another Part Of Town...
"So, what exactly is your plan here?" Orgullo asked the Tengu Twins upon noticing them having captured several different people, half black, the other half white. "It's simple, really! First, we separate these humans we captured into two groups based on their skin color, Blacks and Whites!" Tengoro explained. "Uh huh." Orgullo said, unsure of where they were going with it. "Then, we force the two groups to fight each other while we collect their negative energy for a super weapon!" Tengai explained. "And just to make sure no one tries anything, that little device over there jams all transmission signals. No calls going in or out!" Tengoro explained, pointing to a nearby black box. "Interesting!" Said Orgullo. "And what exactly is this super weapon and where is it?" He asked. "Right over there!" Tengoro said, pointing Orgullo to a large red and blue laser cannon with wings and a lot of buttons. "Okay, I got to admit it, that looks impressive!" Orgullo said while impressed. "But, what does that weapon do exactly?" He asked in curiosity. "Where's the fun in that?" Tengoro asked. "Right! Of course! So, do you mind showing me how are you two going to make the Blacks and Whites fight each other?" Orgullo asked. "Simple." Tengai said as he and Tengoro pulled out two collars. "With these shock collars, they won't have much of a choice!" Tengoro said. As a demonstration, Tengai put one collar on a Black man while Tengoro put the other one on a White man. "Allow us to demonstrate." Tengai said.
Then, Tengai and Tengoro pulled out two remotes and pressed a button. This caused both men to yell in pain as they were electrocuted. "Do as we say or suffer, humans!" Tengai said. "Now, Start Fighting Each Other!" Tengoro ordered. "You two are insane!" The white man said. "Yeah!" The black man said. "The more you resist, the more painful it gets!" Tengoro said as they both turned the dials on their remotes and hit the buttons again. That caused both the White man and the Black man to get electrocuted again, only in much more pain. Across town, in the Sound Breaker, Sid perked up. "Ronnie Anne! I just heard shouts of pain! Willing to bet those freaky bird things are responsible?" Sid asked her girlfriend who was currently flying in the Storm Blitzer. "It's quite possible, so I would definitely bet on that!" Said Ronnie Anne. "Lead the way, my love!" She said. "Gladly!" Said Sid as she followed the direction of the shouts with her ears while Ronnie Anne followed behind her on the Storm Blitzer. "That's odd, my radar's showing the Solar Speedster and Lunar Racer in the vicinity, but I told Carl and Adelaide to search the South end of town." Ronnie Anne noted. "You have no idea where we're going, do you?" Adelaide asked Carl. "What gave you that idea?" Carl asked. "The fact that we're supposed to be in the South end of town, when we've been passing landmarks that are clearly in the North End for the last 10 minutes!" Adelaide pointed out.
Adelaide and Lunastura simply sighed in frustration. As this was going on, Ronnie Anne and Sid came across a warehouse. "This is where the shouts are coming from." Sid said. "All right then, let's go!" Said Ronnie Anne. They snuck into the warehouse to see a large crowd of Demi Diablos cheering on as a black man and a white man continued punching each other. "Woah, it's insane in here!" Sid said. "Yeah! It's like Rocky Balboa vs Apollo Creed, but with both fighters forced to punch each other against their wills!" Ronnie Anne noted. The Black man managed to knock out the white man. "Please, no more! I beg of you, make it stop!" He begged Tengai and Tengoro. "You'll stop when we say you stop!" Tengoro said, pushing the button on his controller, activating the collar. That caused the Black man to get electrocuted once more, much to the anger of Ronnie Anne and Sid. "Okay, they've gone too far!" Ronnie Anne said. "Anyone else willing to bet those collars have something to do with that gun thing?" Jaxondor asked.
"Gun thing?" Ronnie Anne and Sid asked in confusion. They saw the weapon that Tengai and Tengoro had made. "Holy Shamoly!" Ronnie Anne and Sid exclaimed in shock. "We'd better inform the others about this!" Ronnie Anne said, tapping the button on her Lucha Changer that activated the call feature. "Casey, Laird, Sameer, Nikki, Carl, Adelaide, come in!" She said. Unfortunately, all Ronnie Anne got was static, due the Tengu Twins' jamming device. "That's odd." Ronnie Anne said. "I'm not getting anyone on mine either, and my phone's reading 'no service'." Sid said. "Something must be blocking our signals, but what could have caused that?" Ronnie Anne asked. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Orgullo asked, approaching Ronnie Anne and Sid. Before Ronnie Anne and Sid could react, Orgullo immediately grabbed them both. He then tossed them both into the arena where some Demi Diablos placed collars on them. "Looks like we've got some rats, boys!" Orgullo said. "Hey! We aren't rats!" Jaxondor said. "Not even close!" Ailuxucara said.
"Um! Actually, when he called us rats, he was actually calling us spies!" Sid pointed out. "Oh." The Alebrije said as Orgullo grabbed one of the remotes. "I'm going to enjoy this!" He said, pushing the button, causing a small spark to form on Ronnie Anne's collar. "Ha! Joke's on you, Orgullo! I can manipulate electricity, these collars can't hurt me!" Ronnie Anne said. "Yes." Orgullo said, putting the remote down and picking up another one. "But can the same be said for your precious lover?" He asked, pushing the button on the new remote. Unlike with Ronnie Anne, that caused Sid to scream in pain while being electrocuted. "BLUE!" Ronnie Anne said, being careful not to say her girlfriend's real name in front of so many people.
Meanwhile...
As Adelaide was cruising around, she started feeling pain in her neck similar to what Sid just felt. "Adelaide? Is something the matter?" Carl asked in confusion. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just felt like I got electrocuted for some reason." Adelaide said, rubbing her neck. "Could it be?" Lunastura asked. "Something wrong, Lulu?" Adelaide asked. "Sometimes, when a pair of Alebrije Brothers or Sisters are really close, they feel each other's pain. Ailuxucara and I are one such example of a pair of Alebrije with said ability." Lunastura explained. "But, That Would Mean That Sid Is In Grave Danger!" Adelaide said in horrifying realization. "Ronnie Anne, too!" Carl said, looking at his radar. "The Storm Blitzer and Sound Breaker aren't too far from here, they should be there!" He said. "Well then, what are we waiting for?! Let's go find them!" Magnifalcougar declared. Back at the warehouse, Ronnie Anne was looking over Sid, concerned. "My love, are you alright?" She asked. "Aside from being zapped by what felt like 100 volts of electricity, I'm fine." Sid said. "But you won't be for long, LuchaBlue." Orgullo said, adjusting the dial and preparing to push the button again, only for Ronnie Anne to fire a bolt of lightning near his feet. "Hurt my girlfriend like that again, and the next one won't miss!" Ronnie Anne angrily declared.
However, Orgullo ignored Ronnie Anne's warning and quickly pressed the button, causing Sid to get electrocuted again. Adelaide once again felt the pain as well. "That was worse than the last one!" She complained. "That means that we are getting closer!" Lunastura surmised. Seeing her best friend and lover in pain made something snap in Ronnie Anne. "That tears it!" She said, summoning her storm triad blast and unleashing it on the Pecadiablo of pride, only for him to summon a shield made of darkness, blocking the attack. "Foolish mortal." Orgullo said, summoning a sword made of darkness. "There's a reason I'm leader of the Pecadiablos, and you're about to experience it firsthand!" He said, charging at Ronnie Anne. He then went forth and slashed his sword at Ronnie Anne, causing the latter to scream in pain. "You want to play with swords? So be it!" Ronnie Anne said, pulling out the Ryusoulger key. After inserting the key into her Lucha Changer, twisting it, and ringing the bell twice, Ronnie Anne gained a belt with the Ryusoulger symbol on it and a purple version of Ryusoul Red's helmet.
Pulling out the Ryusoul ken, she charged and clashed blades with Orgullo. "You know, you remind me an awful lot like that insufferable wizard that sealed us in the dark box. He didn't know when to give up either." Orgullo informed Ronnie Anne. "What else do you know about Magigo Virtud?!" Ronnie Anne asked while still clashing blades with Orgullo. "Not much. Last I saw of him was just before he sealed me in that box!" Orgullo said. "Of course, given the fact that 10,000 years had passed since then and we haven't seen him after we escaped, he must have passed away from old age already!" Orgullo surmised. "Well Charbaragon is out there looking for him, and I don't think he appreciates you guys brainwashing him!" Ronnie Anne said. "Yeah, well. Too bad!" Orgullo said. Then, Orgullo managed to find an opening and slashed at Ronnie Anne's midsection, causing Ronnie Anne to scream and reel back in serious pain. Orgullo started laughing, only for something to fly into his face, cutting him. "AGH! Who did that?!" Orgullo angrily asked while looking for the attacker. He then noticed the item that cut him was a playing card. Picking it up, he saw that it read 'we're here for your treasure'. "What the hell is this supposed to mean?" He asked. "It's your advanced warning!" Carl's voice rang out as everyone turned to see him in LupinRed mode. "What The Actual Hell?!" Orgullo asked in confusion.
A blaster shot rang out, everyone turned to see Adelaide in Patran Ichigo mode. "Freeze, Pecadiablos! Put Your Hands In Air!" Adelaide declared while pointing the VS Changer at Orgullo and the Tengu Twins. "Remind me again why I'm the one who had to use the Lupinranger key? I'm pretty sure Patran X was the Gold one, not Lupin X." Carl said. "Because it suits you more." Adelaide said. "What's that supposed to mean?" Carl asked. "Apparently Kaito means 'Phantom thief'." Adelaide said. "And you are a con-artist, which is a person who tricks people out of their money, much like how a thief steals from people!" She added, much to Carl's chagrin. "Okay, that's a cheap shot!" Carl said. "Just figure out a way to destroy that weapon while I help the people here!" Adelaide said. "*GROAN!* Fine!" Carl said in annoyance. "You two! Stop LuchaGold! I've got the girl!" Orgullo ordered. "At Once, Master Orgullo!" The Tengu Twins replied as they then quickly dashed towards Carl and blocked him from getting anywhere near the super weapon. "You aren't going anywhere, goldie!" Tengai said. "We'll see about that." Carl said, pulling out the Lupin Sword and Lupin Magnum. Then, Carl charged towards the Tengu Twins, who immediately drew out their swords and out-maneuvered Carl's attacks while also preventing him from damaging the super weapon. As this was going on, Adelaide was using her healing moon technique on the captives.
As soon as everyone was healed, one of the Black men said "Whoever you are under that helmet, thanks!" gratefully. "Just doing my job as a Lucharanger. Taking care of the people and fighting demons. Now you guys better get out of here!" Adelaide said. "Don't have to tell me twice!" A random white man said. Soon, both the Blacks and the Whites ran out of the building, much to Orgullo's chagrin. Adelaide then ran up to Sid and Ronnie Anne. "Are you guys okay?" Adelaide asked. "Yeah, we're fine." Ronnie Anne said as she and Sid got up, only for the sisters to gasp in shock and horror. "My love, you're bleeding!" Sid declared, noticing a large bloodstain on Ronnie Anne's suit. Upon seeing that, Ronnie Anne freaked out. "Fortunately, it seems your suit prevented Orgullo's blade from reaching any of your internal organs, but even with the Healing Moon technique, that's still going to leave a nasty scar, I'm afraid." Jaxondor informed the girls.
"Aw, Man! My familia is not going to be happy to hear about this!" Ronnie Anne said in worry. "Especially your mom and Abuela! Although, I have a feeling they'll be more angry at Orgullo then you, and super concerned." Adelaide noted as she used her healing moon on Ronnie Anne and Sid. "At least none of my internal organs were hurt, right Jax?" Ronnie Anne asked. "I've searched all over your body, the scar is the worst thing that was left over from that attack, and all of your insides are still in working order." Jaxondor confirmed as Sid was seething in anger. "Of course, Orgullo will realize... THIS MEANS WAR!" Sid loudly declared in anger as she then let out a sonic screech straight at Orgullo. Orgullo summoned his shield again, blocking Sid's screech. "Now that's a bit much, don't you think?" He asked rhetorically. "You hurt me and the one I love!" Sid said angrily. "Well, you know what they say. An eye for an eye. Envidia's still upset about that permanent limp your friends left her with, and Cocidia wants to turn your snake friend into a pair of boots in retaliation for biting her arm like that." Orgullo said. That last comment only made Sid get angrier.
"Adelaide, help Carl with the Tengu Twins and their weapon, we've got this guy." Sid instructed her sister. "On it!" Adelaide replied as she immediately went to Carl's location. "Cute. You think that two of you together will make a difference. Well let me tell you." Orgullo said, dispelling his shield and summoning not one, but two swords made of darkness. "It won't." He said. "Dang it! If only we can contact the rest of our team!" Ronnie Anne said. "We'll have to make do for now." Sid said as they pulled out the Megaranger and Zyuranger keys. Ronnie Anne entered Tyrannoranger mode while Sid entered Mega Red mode, the two pulling out the reds' signature bladed weapons and charging. While that was going on, Adelaide fired a shot from the VS Changer at Tengai while Carl fired a shot from the Lupin Magnum at Tengoro. Unfortunately for them, Tengai and Tengoro used their swords to deflect the blasters while also preventing them from damaging the super weapon. "You want this, you'll have to go through us!" Tengai said. "Well then, you leave me no choice!" Carl said, getting back into his base form. "Supernova Mode!" He shouted, glowing a bright light and charging super fast at the two Tengus.
Surprisingly, Carl was able use his Supernova Mode's speed to keep up with the Tengu Twins' own speed. "I hope Carl knows what he's doing, because in about 50 seconds, he'll be as still as a statue!" Adelaide said as Tengai tried slashing Carl with his fiery sword, only for LuchaGold to catch it in his hands and snap the blade in two. "Grrrr! We don't always need swords to destroy you!" Tengai declared as he then conjured a fireball in his hands while Tengoro prepared to charge an ice blast from his sword. However, as soon as he sees Tengai at his left and Tengoro at his right, Carl immediately got a clever idea and then quickly ducked down as Tengai threw his fireball while Tengoro unleashed his ice blast, causing the Tengu Twins to get hit by each others' attacks. "HOT, HOT, HOT!" Tengoro yelled in pain as he was set on fire by Tengai's fireball. "COLD! C-C-C-COLD!" Tengai shouted as he was frozen in ice by Tengoro's ice blast. "10 seconds left, Carl!" Adelaide said. "More then enough time!" Carl and Magnifalcougar said at the same time charging up a super sized Solarbeam attack and unleashing it on the Tengus.
That caused both Tengu Twins to yell in excruciating pain as they were engulfed by the Solarbeam. The beam also hit the weapon, causing it to overload and explode, taking the Tengu Twins with it. When Orgullo heard the explosion and saw that the super weapon was destroyed, he was furious. "That makes two of us." Ronnie Anne sneered as Tengai and Tengoro grew to their massive size. "You Are Going To Pay For Destroying Our Super Weapon!" The Tengu Twins declared in anger. "Just what was that super weapon supposed to do anyway?!" Carl asked, right before he fell to the ground due to his time limit being up. "It was supposed to fire a devastating blast of dark energy that can easily annihilate anything within a city-wide area!" Tengoro answered. "And you ruined our plans!" Tengoro said angrily. "We need LuchaKing and LuchaKaiser!" Sid said. "Problem! Carl is still as a statue and we still can't contact the rest of our teammates!" Ronnie Anne pointed out. "I'll buy time until Carl's back up and running while you guys find the device that blocks transmissions!" Adelaide volunteered. "Gladly!" Said Sid as she and Ronnie Anne started searching for the jamming device.
Sid turned back and hugged Adelaide. "Be careful, Adelaide. I already have one person I care about getting injured and bleeding, I don't need two." Sid said. "Okay, Sid! I'll be careful!" Adelaide replied. "Alebrije Henkei!" Adelaide cried, transforming into her Lunastura mech form and flying after the Tengu Twins. "Has it been two minutes yet?" Carl asked. "Not even 15 seconds." Magnifalcougar complained. "Dang It!" Carl exclaimed in complaint. Sid and Ronnie Anne were running in the warehouse, looking for whatever it is that jammed their frequencies. "It has to be here somewhere!" Ronnie Anne said. "If only there were an easier way to track it down!" Sid said. "Oh! How about that I use my lightning to find that thing?" Ronnie Anne suggested. "Not sure how that would work, but okay!" Sid said. Then, Ronnie Anne focused a little before she then summoned a small bolt of lightning from her right hand. Afterwards, the lightning bolt immediately shot off towards somewhere while Ronnie Anne followed it from behind. "Here's hoping we have the luck of Shishi Red." Ronnie Anne said.
Meanwhile, with Adelaide...
She was swiftly dodging the Tengu Twins' attacks, even though they were faster than her. "You can't run away forever, LuchaSilver!" Tengoro said, unleashing an icy slash. Unfortunately for Adelaide, the ice slash managed to hit her, causing her to get frozen in a block of ice before crashing into the ground. This caused pain to her wing, which Sid felt in her shoulder. "*GASP!* Why did I just felt pain in my shoulder?!" Sid asked in confusion. "Sometimes, when a pair of Alebrije brothers or sisters are very close, they feel each other's pain." Ailuxucara explained. "You and Lunastura are amongst those, right?" Jaxondor asked. "Yeah, I guess that when we bonded to you guys, and after that whole debacle with Envidia, that bond transferred over to you and Adelaide!" Ailuxucara said. "*GASP!* But, That Means That Adelaide Is In Huge Trouble Right Now!" Sid exclaimed in horror. "Go ahead, help her." Ronnie Anne insisted. "Right! Let me know when you had found the thing that's blocking our communication signals!" Said Sid. "Alebrije Henkei!" Sid shouted, taking on the form of her Alebrije mech. "How much longer?" Carl complained. "Another minute." Magnifalcougar said.
"Double Dang It!" Carl complained. "Say your prayers, LuchaSilver!" Tengoro said as he and Tengai prepared their swords. However, before the Tengu Twins could even attack, they were suddenly knocked back by a sonic scream. "Step away from my sister, you funky chickens!" Sid and Ailuxucara said at the same time. "Chickens?! How Dare You?!" Tengai shouted in anger after being insulted. "The bird we are partially based on is a Crow, NOT a Chicken!" Tengoro added in anger. "Really? Because all I'm seeing is a couple turkeys!" Sid taunted. That only made the Tengu Twins angrier.
Meanwhile, with Ronnie Anne...
"Come on, come on." Ronnie Anne said. After a while of searching, the lightning bolt had finally found the jamming device, which was conveniently hidden in front of a vent while disguised as an air conditioner. "Yes!" Ronnie Anne said, shooting a bolt of lightning at the device, destroying it. Afterwards, Ronnie Anne pressed a button on her Lucha Changer to activate its communication feature. "Casey, Laird, Sameer, Nikki. Do you read?" Ronnie Anne asked. "We read you loud and clear, Ronnie Anne!" Casey responded, much to Ronnie Anne's relief. "Good, we managed to find Tengai and Tengoro, but we need some help! I'm sending the coordinates to you now!" Ronnie Anne said. Back with Carl. "3, 2, 1!" He counted down as the period for recharge ended and he got back up. "*GRUNT!* Finally! Now I can get back into the action!" Carl said. "And not a moment too soon! I just destroyed the device they were using to block transmissions, and the others will be here soon." Ronnie Anne said. "Great, in the meantime, Alebrije Henkei!" Carl said.
Then, Carl transformed into his Magnifalcougar mech form and flew off to where the Tengu Twins were. The Chang Sisters were fighting them off. "Hey, Adelaide! Let's get this party started!" Carl said. "Right!" Said Adelaide. "Alebrije Gattai!" Adelaide shouted. Then, both the gold and silver Alebrije mechs shot up into the sky and begin to transform. First, the gold Alebrije mech detached his tail and then straightened his hind legs downwards before folding them in while his front legs straightened downwards before the taloned feet twisted and closed up to form hands. Next, the silver Alebrije mech detached her head, wings, and tail from her body before it then split in half while the four upper legs folded in and the hind legs covered them up as two triangular structures flipped out from the lower parts of the split body to form feet. Finally, they started to combine as the split halves of the silver Alebrije mech's body attached themselves to the gold Alebrije mech's lower legs to form the robot's legs while silver Alebrije mech's wings and head attached themselves to the gold Alebrije mech's back and chest, respectively. Afterwards, the gold Alebrije mech's mouth opened up to reveal a face with gold and silver markings on it that resembled a Luchador Wrestler's mask. Then, the gold Alebrije mech's tail and the silver Alebrije mech's tail flipped out handles from the bottom to become the swords that were both caught by the newly combined robot's taloned hands with the gold sword in its right hand and the silver sword in its left hand. Finally, the now combined LuchaKaiser did a few fighting poses while swinging its swords before it finished in a heroic pose while LuchaGold and LuchaSilver shouted "LUCHAKAISER! AWAKEN!" "You go back down and rest, Sid. We've got this! Skyring descend!" Adelaide called out.
That's when LuchaKaiser shot out beams from its swords and summoned its version of the Sky Ring. "Alright." Sid said, transforming back into her human state as LuchaKaiser flew into the ring. As soon as Sid went back to her human state, Ronnie Anne saw her and decided to run to her side. Removing their helmets, Ronnie Anne and Sid embraced and kissed. "If it's a fight in the air you want, it's a fight in the air you'll get!" Tengoro said as he and Tengai flew up to the ring. "Don't think that you'll be able to trick us into attacking each other like you did before!" Tengai declared as he and Tengoro prepared to attack. "Well let's see you deal with this!" Carl said as LuchaKaiser unsheathed it's twin swords. "Bring it!" Said the Tengu Twins. At the temple, AkaRed was watching the battle in a state of intense focus. Jalissa then walked into the room with Mambana and Axolota as they then noticed that AkaRed was watching the battle between LuchaKaiser and the Tengu Twins. AkaRed got a pondering look on his face. "Is everything alright, AkaRed?" Jalissa asked. "The Pecadiablos are getting stronger." AkaRed said. "Really?! But, How?!" Jalissa asked in confusion. "I don't know, but if they're getting stronger, then so must we." AkaRed said cryptically.
Back at the fight...
LuchaKaiser was clashing swords against the Tengu Twins. "You don't stand a chance, Lucharangers!" Tengoro said as he fired a blast of ice at LuchaKaiser. However, LuchaKaiser countered that attack with its Solarbeam attack. "We have to find a way to ground these guys!" Adelaide said as the Tengus were flying above them. "Well, it's a good thing that we can fly as well!" Carl said as LuchaKaiser spread out its wings and flew up towards the Tengu Twins. "All right, weirdos, why don't you be the good funky chickens that you are and stay down?!" Carl said as LuchaKaiser slashed both it's swords down, cutting off their wings. "YEOW!" The Tengu Twins yelled in pain as they then plummeted down while shouting "YAAAAAAA-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!" before they then crashed into the floor of the Sky Ring. "Now to end this!" Carl said. "Prepare the lock!" He told Adelaide. "Uh, Carl, I don't have the lock! Laird has it, remember?!" Adelaide reminded, much to Carl's chagrin. "Triple Dang it! Laird, where are you?! We need that lock!" Carl complained over his Lucha Changer.
"I'm still a good five minutes away!" Laird said. "Well, Hurry Up Already! We are about to destroy the Tengu Twins and we can't seal them away without that lock!" Carl shouted in annoyance. "Just buy some time!" Laird said. "Buy some time? How are we going to do that?!" Carl asked in complaint. "I don't know, Adelaide's smart, you're crafty, think of something!" Laird said. *Groan* "Fine." Carl said. "Got any ideas, Adelaide?" Carl asked in annoyance. "Beat them up until Laird gets here?" Adelaide suggested. "Eh, might as well!" Carl replied in slight agreement. "Double Solar Lariat!" Carl called. That's when LuchaKaiser charged towards the Tengu Twins with both of its arms out. They jumped, trying to get away, only to remember LuchaKaiser had cut off their wings. Then LuchaKaiser immediately struck both Tengai and Tengoro by extending both of its arms out and then moving them forwards against the Tengu Twins' necks. Slamming them down on the ring floor, Adelaide called out "Double Lunar Sweep!"
That's when LuchaKaiser jumped up and spread out both of its legs before spinning around and kicking both Tengu Twins in their faces. "Ha! Serves those two right!" Sid said, resting her head on Ronnie Anne's shoulder. The Mind Booster pulled up in front of them, Laird hopping out. "I have the lock!" He said. No sooner did Laird said that, Casey, Sameer, and Nikki rolled in right behind him in their LuchaKarts. "Good, get that up to LuchaKaiser!" Ronnie Anne said. "On it!" Laird said as then shouted "Alebrije Henkei!" and transformed into his Leaquilfin mech form before flying off towards the Sky Ring. "Woah, Ronnie Anne! What happened to you?!" Nikki asked upon seeing the large bloodstain on her friend's suit. "Let's just say Orgullo's more dangerous than we thought." Ronnie Anne answered. "Yeah! Orgullo actually slashed his sword at Ronnie Anne's midsection and caused her to bleed!" Sid explained in bitterness. "Fortunately, my suit apparently stopped it from injuring me any further and Adelaide was able to heal me with nothing left but a scar." Ronnie Anne said. "Dude, your family is going to freak!" Casey said.
"*Sigh!* Tell me about it!" Ronnie Anne replied. Laird then landed and transformed back. "Alright, I got the lock to LuchaKaiser, they should be good now and-OH MY GOSH WHY ARE YOU BLEEDING?!" Laird asked in shock as LuchaKaiser prepared it's finisher. "Eclipse X-Slash!" Carl and Adelaide said. Afterwards, LuchaKaiser immediately sent out a double energy slash from its swords that formed an 'X' and instantly hit both Tengai and Tengoro at once. "NOOOOOO!" The Tengu Twins said at once, holding onto each other as they fell down and exploded. That's when LuchaKaiser immediately threw the lock into the explosion cloud, right before the lock then sucked up all of Tengai and Tengoro's essenses and closed its mouth shut before burping loudly in satisfaction. *Phew* "Glad that's over!" Ronnie Anne said.
Meanwhile, at the temple...
AkaRed saw the victory, nodded and walked past Mambana, Axolota, and Jalissa, confusing them. "What do you guys think is on AkaRed's mind right now?" Jalissa asked Mambana and Axolota in confusion. "The Pecadiablos are getting stronger, and if we are to defeat them, so must the Lucharangers. For that reason I have decided to leave and find a way to obtain that strength." AkaRed said. "Okay, but where are you going to do so?" Jalissa asked. "No where you can follow, I'm afraid. Mambana, Axolota, you'll be in charge of the Lucharangers and their wellbeing while I'm gone." AkaRed said. "Understood, AkaRed!" Said Mambana. "We'll let the Lucharangers and Alebrije know, once they get back!" Said Axolota.
Later, at the Casagrandes' Apartment...
"Okay, does it hurt when I do this?" Maria asked, pressing Ronnie Anne's stomach, which now had a scar from Orgullo's blade. "No. Mom, both Jax and I have assured you, I'm fine!" Ronnie Anne said. "But, you have been injured! And you have a scar on your stomach!" Maria said in worry as Arturo, who came to the apartment after hearing about Ronnie Anne's injury, stood alongside her while Hector, Rosa, Carlos, Frida, Carlotta, CJ, Carl, Carlitos, Sergio, and Lalo looked at Ronnie Anne in concern. "Senorita, I assure you, when I bonded to Ronnie Anne, I gained the ability to sense all kinds of major injuries or illnesses, and I sensed nothing." Jaxondor said. "Jax is right, Mom! My suit protected my internal organs from Orgullos blade, even though it managed to cut me!
