Mitsuki called Ren and Sae to ask them to let Neito in her office that morning so she could help with his training, both agreed that they couldn't help much because they of work. They arrived that morning and Neito went to talk with Katsumi while their parents talk.
"You said that you have someone that could help train both kids?" Mitsuki nods with a big smile on her face, Sae was curious about who could help both."Well, who is?" At her side, Ren just looks at Mitsuki with interest.
"He will be here soon, it's Best Jeanist!" Her smile got bigger when she saw their reactions. "He is the best option since his quirk isn't dangerous for Neito train and he can help a lot with Katsumi training too."
"How did you convince him to train the kids? He is a pro hero and is busy all the time." Ren asked curious about how the pro would be able to train the kids and work at the same time.
"Simple, he will train them after work. We were talking after I did some upgrades on his costume and he asked about Katsumi, when I explained to him that Izuku and melissa would be training with Blood Fist, he insisted that I let him train her." She then looks at both kids talking."Then I thought about how Neito has been training using her quirk and asked if he could help him too."
"He must think they have potential." Sae looks to Mitsuki." He will be sacrificing hours that he could use to rest so he can train the kids." She got a little frown on her face, She may not know Best Jeanist like Mitsuki, but she feels guilty for taking his time to train her son.
" I am not surprised, he always liked to teach, besides, he can't say no to his dear senpai!" She had a smirk on her face, she is older than him and helped him when he was new at UA.
Mitsuki then feels her phone vibrate and she sees that she got messages from James, she then opens the messages and sees a pic of Mei holding a bow and Lady Nagant with a hand on her shoulder. She then sees the text below the pic.
"Suck it, witch! She will start training with the best!" She got a little frown on his face."That damn gorilla won this time." She then shows the pic to Sae and Ren."I guess I wasn't the only one to think about getting help for my daughter."
After a few minutes, Sae and Ren went to work, and not even five minutes later, Best Jeanist arrived.
"Tsuna-boy, I am glad that you will do this." She then hugs the tall man."Masaru is working right now, he wanted to see you too." She sees the man just smiling at her.
"Don't worry Mitsuki senpai, I am glad you would let me help with the kid's training, and I hope I can see Masaru senpai soon too." He then follows her to a room where the kids were training while they waited for him.
"Neito, Katsumi, come here!" Both kids look to her, then to the tall man that came with her.
"Whoah! You are Best Jeanist!" Neito said with clear surprise on his face. "Can I get an autograph?" He said while offering the notebook he got from his backpack.
"Sure, I am still just a small hero, but I am glad I have a fan so young." He signs the page and he sees Katsumi looking at him while holding her notebook.
"Can I get one too?" He smiles and signs hers too, she then opens a big smile. "Thanks!"
"Yeah, thanks. Your fighting style is so cool." Neito said with a big smile on his face.
" I am glad you like me so much because from today on, I will be training both of you." He said with a more serious face.
"What?" Katsumi was confused, she then looks at her mother. "We will be training with a pro hero now?" Mitsuki's grin just got wider and she nods. " B-But wouldn't that make it hard to work on patrols?" Neito just nods with his head agreeing with Katsumi.
"Don't worry, I will train you after my patrols, but I will tell you what I want you to practice while I am on patrol." He explains and sees that the kids understood. "Good! Now I want both to try to attack me, I want to see what you can do for now." The kids got tense at hearing that.
"We? Attacking you?" Neito asks and he nods "O-Okay, ready Katsumi?" He looks at his partner and she nods.
"Yeah, Let's do this!" Neito then touches her arm and both attack him.
Mitsuki chooses this moment to go to her workshop so she could finish what she had planned for today.
For a young adult, dodge kids' attacks were easy, and he didn't even need to use his quirk, but this provided vital information to him about what he could do to help them.
'They have been training for a few weeks, but I can see that they are on the right path.' Katsumi then try to use her quirk to aim for his knees, but he avoided easily. 'She is aggressive, she is just attacking my legs because is the only part she can reach.' He then sees Neito trying to attack him from behind. ' He is trying to be furtive, but with him using her quirk he won't be able to do it.'
The little spar went for a few minutes and both kids tried to attack him but they only got in the way of each other, like they were competing to see who hit first.
"Out of my way copycat." Katsumi didn't stop for even a second, she went from one attack to another non-stop.
"You are the one in my way popcorn girl!" Neito was waiting for Katsumi to tire him so he could attack.
'They seem to have some kind of rivalry, both are good for their ages and I can see a lot of potentials, but they are too reckless.' He thought while avoiding another attack from Katsumi.
Katsumi then tries to attack him again, but this time he dodges and she ends up hitting Neito chest.
"What are you doing? Are you blind?" Neito said while rubbing his chest.
"You are the one blind here, can't you see that I am trying to win?" She was getting angry for not being able to hit a single attack.
Neito then attacked and Best Jeanist keep dodging then he sees Katsumi coming and dodge again, making Neito hit her back.
"That hurt! you did that on purpose." She said while feeling a little pain in her back.
"Is not my fault that you are so slow." He said angrily that she was blaming him.
"You two are acting like an old married couple that is about to divorce." The kids look at him confused, then at each other.
"Me? Married with this rabid animal? Never!" Neito said while looking at Katsumi.
"I would never want to have anything with this rejected copy machine." She said while looking at Neito.
'Yep! They will probably marry in the future.' He then looks at both kids with a serious face and the kids got worried about what he would say.
"Katsumi, you are too aggressive, you have good mobility, but the truth is that you trust too much on your quirk. You try to hit with bigger explosions every time you miss." He then looks at her. " If someone incapacitates your hands, what would you do? Sure your quirk needs your hands to work, but you must think of other ways to use it." She then looks at her hands, thinking about what he said.
"Neito, you are the opposite, you take too long to act, Katsumi would have been defeated way before you did anything." He then looks to Neito."Your quirk is powerful, maybe one of the strongest in the world, but time is your enemy, if you keep hesitating then your allies will fall before you even enter the battle." The boy then looks to the ground thinking about what he heard.
"Both have the determination and I can see that you have been training your quirks and bodies well, but the mind is the true weapon of a hero. You must be careful about how you use your quirk. Reckless heroes are more dangerous than villains." He then uses his quirk to make his sleeves dismember and take a form like a spider web around the room.
"What you mean sir?" Katsumi asked looking at him.
" My quirk wasn't strong in the beginning, I made it strong by training. I can control the threads with my mind, but I can make them move faster and have better control when using my hands." He then makes the towels on the bench to wrap around both kid's wrists, restraining their arms and bringing them to the ground.
" What? I can't escape." Neito said struggling to break free from the towel.
"Let me go!" Katsumi tries to use her quirk to explode the towel, but it was useless since her arms were restrained.
"See? I don't need to do much to defeat both of you, I only restrained your arms." He then walked until he was in front of them. "I want both to break free, do whatever you need to do to escape, you just need to think." He then sits on the ground and looks at the kids with a serious expression.
Katsumi again tries to explode the towel, but she only hurt her hands since they were locked together. Neito Look at Katsumi and see that she wasn't able to do anything. He then starts looking around for a way to escape.
"Any idea copycat?" She asks while struggling to escape and Neito only looked at her.
"I am trying to think popcorn girl." He said and tried to use his mouth to pull the towel to escape.
"Is that all you can do?" Tsunagu said while seeing the kids struggle. 'It seems like I was right, they trained the body and the quirk, but not the mind.' He thinks while looking at the kids.
They were struggling and each time they tried to escape the threads got tighter. Nothing they did worked, not even trying to untie each other.
'They stopped competing and tried to help each other? maybe they will learn something.' Tsunagu thought while looking at Neito, the boy then looked at him and got an idea.
"I know what to do!" He then walks to Best Jeanist and the man just smiled under his costume. Neito then touched his hand and tried to use his quirk to break free, only to not work. "What? But I copied your quirk!" He said confused.
"You sure did, but you don't know how to use it. You know what I can do, but you don't know how to control my quirk." Neito then looks to Katsumi looking for an answer.
"He controls the threads, try touching the ones on my arms to help me so I can free you." Neito then runs to Katsumi and tries to imagine the towel tearing up, but he just made the threads tighter, he saw a little cut on her hand. "That hurt! Don't try to rip, try to loosen the knot." He tried again and it was starting to loosen little by little."That's it, keep up."
"Okay, I will help you now." Katsumi was finally able to pull an arm and freed herself, she then tried to loosen the restraints on Neito.
"Hurry." Neito restrains were loosening but weren't enough to free him.
"I have an idea."Katsumi decided to use her AP Shot to rip the towel and Neito was finally free, but it burned his hands a little.
"That hurt! Was that revenge?" Neito and Katsumi just looked at each other, then at their hands, Neito had small burn marks on his hands and Katsumi had some little cuts on hers.
They were tired after that, Tsunagu then examined both kid's hands and got a first aid kit to take care of them.
"Do you understand now? Both are free, but your actions had consequences. You hurt each other, that is what a hero has to worry about every day." He treated their hands and looked at both kids. "You must be calm and plan or you will hurt the people you should protect."
Both kids were impressed since they never thought about it that way. Mitsuki arrived with some water and to check them, she got curious about what he would do to train them.
Katsumi and Neito were on the ground breathing hard while in front of them were Best Jeanist.
"I have to say, I was expecting more!"He then gets a disappointed look at his face.
"W-We are not done yet, sir." Neito said while trying to get up, but it was clear that he was tired."Isn't that right Katsumi?" He then looks at his friend with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah! The real fight starts now!" She had a wide grin on her face while she was looking at the huge man in front of them.
Both kids were in their battle stance preparing to try again at least touch the pro hero.
"Well, let's see if you kids honor your words." He then gives a side look at Mitsuki and sees her smile. " Let's see if those kids are as good as you claim them to be Mitsuki."
"Don't worry, they are!" She said with a big smile on her face."I will just leave the water here so don't forget to drink." She then leaves them to train, she knows he just said he was disappointed to make them go all out.
"Now, that you know that the reckless use of your quirks can put others in danger, let's see if you will be more careful now." He then uses the same towels to form two whips."This time I will attack too so be prepared."
"Let's see if you can keep up copycat." She said while offering her hand."I won't lose to Icchan, Melissa, Mei, or you." She then got a wide smile on her face.
"I saved you back there Bakagou" He then touches her hand and copy her quirk again." But you are right, I don't want to lose to them or you." He gave her a wide smile and both kids looked at Best Jeanist.
"I hope you are ready sensei because we are going to win." He sees in their eyes the pure determination that would make them reach their dreams.
Katsumi then attacked again, Tsunagu tried to hit her with the whip, but Neito attacked the whip, opening the path to Katsumi's attack. He then tried to attack Neito, but Katsumi protected him and both went together.
'Interesting, they haven't said a word about a battle plan and now are working well together.' He thought while looking at the kids doing coordinated attacks.
He tried to attack Neito, but he used Katsumi's quirk to dodge and Katsumi used the opportunity to hit his leg. It wasn't a strong hit, even more for a hero like him, but it was progressing.
"We told you sensei, the real fight starts now." Katsumi said with a smirk on her face."Let's do this Neito!" She then went to attack again and Tsunagu keeps dodging until he fell Neito behind him attacking too.
Neito then used Katsumi's quirk and managed to hit his belt, exploding the buckle. Katsumi then looks to Neito for a moment and understands the plan when she sees his smirk.
'Those kids are working in perfect sync now? They are forcing each other to improve.' He then tried to jump to get some distance but he feels something pulling his pants.
"Got you!" Neito said and Tsunagu looks to his leg to see that Neito touched his leg and used his quirk to pull his pants down.
"That's a dirty trick." He said holding his pants so they don't drop, he wouldn't let this happen in front of the kids.
"What matters is that we won!" Katsumi then put her foot on Neito's back and used to jump in front of Best Jeanist. "We got you sensei!" She then used an explosion on his chest and Neito touched her leg with one hand and used her quirk with the other.
Before both could hit the finishing blow, they feel threads wrap around their wrists again and making them fall on the ground.
"That was unexpected, only a kid would think about pulling my pants" He then sighed."Please don't do this again." He said and then released them.
"Sorry about that, but it was the only thing we thought could work with you," Neito said with a nervous smile on his face.
"Yeah, sorry," Katsumi said at least a little shy about what they were doing.
"It's okay, I can see that both indeed have potential to achieve great things." He then looks to both kids and pats their heads."I will keep coming to train both so I hope I see you doing your best." He then sees both kids with Huge smiles on their faces.
"Thank you sensei!" Neito said looking at him, he has to admit that this was indeed good training.
"Yeah, just wait and you will see that I will become the first woman to become the number one," Katsumi said with her fist above her head.
"You have a good goal Katsumi, it will be hard, but I will be watching and cheering for you." He then looks to Neito."What about you Neito? What is your goal?" He was curious what the blonde boy would say.
"I will become stronger so I can become a symbol." Katsumi and Tsunagu looked at him with confused faces.
"Symbol? Of what?" The pro asked even more curious now. Neito then looks at him with pure determination in his eyes.
"I will be the Symbol of the heroism. Many kids say that my quirk is useless and that I can't do anything without other people around me, so I will become a great hero and inspire other people that think their quirks are useless to become heroes too." Neito said with so much conviction that Tsunagu lost his words.
"Heh? That is good Neito, Let's make a pact then." Katsumi said and then offered her hand to him."We must help each other to achieve our dreams. So what you say 'Symbol of heroism'?" She said with a smile on her face and winked at him, he blushed and took her hand.
"I agree, let's help each other reach our dreams 'Symbol of victory', I want to see you there when I make my dream true as I will be there when you make yours."
'Cute! They will marry in the future!' Tsunagu thought looking at them.
"Those are indeed good objectives, but I hope you are ready." He then got in a battle stance again. "Because the training is just starting."
Both kids look at each other and got in their battle stances again, they just started their journeys to archive their dreams.
That was chapter 11, Neito and Katsumi training with Best Jeanist was something that i was planing before i decided to make Izuku train with Kazuya. The teacher-student bond will be something that will have a great impact on the story. See you guys next time.
