Some people may think this chapter is short since I usually make 5k words for this story, but a short and direct chapter is better than long and boring. I would like to thank you all for the amazing support, you guys are the best! Enjoy this chapter and I finally thought about what ships will sail on this fic, but I will build a good relationship without rushing things, or forgetting the main plot. Enjoy the chapter!
Izuku was with a crimson red lance on his hand, he was looking at the zero pointer with a big smile on his face, it would be the first time he would use a Noble Phantasm in actual combat.
He looks at the others running away from the zero pointer, he couldn't blame them. He then notices the same girl that he meets before still fighting a type 3, the robot was levitating upside down.
"Release!" She touches the tips of her fingers making the robot drop and the head be crushed by its own weight. she tries to run from the zero pointer now, only for the giant robot to try to crush her.
"LOOK OUT!" Izuku runs and gets her before the giant's metal leg manages to crush her. "You okay?"
"Y-Yeah, sorry." She was a little embarrassed for being in his arms.
"Don't worry about it!" Izuku said putting her on the ground. "Run, I will deal with it." He said smirking.
"You will deal with it? That thing is huge, you should run." She said pointing to the huge robot.
"I am going to defeat it, just go before he attacks again." He said looking over his shoulder at her.
She wasn't sure how to respond to that, she turns around to run, but she decided to say one last thing.
"I hope you know what you are doing, my name is Ochako Uraraka!" She said preparing to leave.
"Izuku Midoriya." He smiled and decided to run away from the other candidate's direction.
He was avoiding the attacks of the robot while waiting for the right moment to attack.
he saw the shoulder plate open and many missiles being launched on him.
"Cú Chulainn legend is amazing, I can move so fast and got great strength too." Izuku was avoiding the missiles easily, he then decides that it was time to finish this.
He turns to face the giant enemy and tight his hold on the lance.
'The curse on this lance that reverses cause and effect is enough to deal with him' Izuku then smiles and flexes his legs to prepare for the attack.'If I use normally to close combat she is anti-personnel, but if I throw her she will become anti-army.'
The lance then gets a crimson aura around her, for anyone watching it was almost hypnotic with how beautiful it was.
Izuku then runs in the direction of the zero pointer and with a final step on the ground he throws the lance.
"Gáe Bolg!" the lance goes flying at a supersonic speed.
The lance hit the middle of the torso of the robot and at the moment of the contact exploded on a huge red sphere, destroying completely the robot.
The other candidates couldn't believe what they saw.
"Who is that guy?" The guy that scolded him couldn't believe that the shy boy that didn't even talk back to him was able to do that.
"You really did it!" Ochako was impressed with what she saw. "Izuku Midoriya, I hope we meet again"
Izuku open his hand and the lance came back to him, he just looks at Gáe Bolg and smiles.
"I can't wait to tell everyone."
-/ Alpha Area /-
Melissa was doing well dodging the attacks of the giant robot, she was studying her enemy while taking him away from the others.
'The joints are obvious weak points, but I have to be careful to not hurt anyone.' She thought while jumping from a rooftop to another.
She wasn't sure if collateral damage would impact her points, so she made sure to make the giant robot follow her through large streets.
'Just 2 minutes left, I must destroy it before the exam end.' She smiled excitedly, it was a good opportunity to go all out.
She sees that no other candidate was close to her or the robot.
"Now, let's dance!" She then got into her fighting stance and prepared to attack.
She charges One for All at 7zero% and saw a giant iron fist coming in her direction, but before it could hit, she vanished.
The robot only saw her again when she punched the joint of the right elbow, making him lose part of the arm.
She grabs the separated limb and throws it at the face of the robot making him lose his balance a little.
She runs once again and concentrates more energy on her legs to run faster.
She then jumps at the left leg of the robot and kicks at the knee, breaking it and making the robot fall forward.
Melissa looks at the robot falling and prepares to attack it again, she decides that it was time to use a move she was training for some time.
She flexes her legs, takes a deep breath, pulls back her right arm, and concentrates all her strength on her hand.
"ALL MIGHT SMASH!" She yells and punches the robot's torso.
The metal deforms and then a huge hole was opened in the center of the torso.
She jumps through the hole and runs to the head of the robot, she jumps and punches the head into the ground, destroying it.
"I am sorry for that big guy, you were an impressive machine. But I wanted to test my limits." She was tired, but haven't broken any bone.
"The others won't believe this."
-/ Charlie Area /-
"Knowing uncle Nezu, I can't let those extras get hurt by my battle." Katsumi was flying far from the other candidates, She would like to attack now and destroy it, but she couldn't risk losing points.
She saw the robot launching some missiles on her, but she was using her quirk to move fast and avoid them. She notices the missiles following her and could only think that they were heat trackers, and with her quirk, she was an easy target.
'Good! Keep launching them, I will use your own missiles against you.' She laughed sadistically.
At least 15 missiles were following her, she was ready to destroy the robot when she saw that they were at a safe distance.
"DIE MOTHERFUCKER!" She screamed turning around and going in the direction of her target, Katsumi herself became like a missile, and this robot was her target.
She was flying to the center of the head, she got a good idea of how to destroy it.
"AP SHOT!" she opens a hole big enough for her to pass and see the big motherboard of the robot there connected to many cables.
Some small robots of her size came to protect the motherboard.
"I knew it wouldn't be this easy." She sees that since they were so small, they hadn't good protection.
She then sees the missiles coming and the robot raising his arms to avoid being hit on the head.
Knowing that she was now on the motherboard, she went wild and started destroying everything she saw, disconnected cables, and even was throwing robots on it to cause damage.
She finally destroyed the defenses and got her hands on the motherboard.
"Now die!" She uses her quirk to explode it and then starts running to the hole she opened to escape.
When she flies out of the head she sees that the red lens were turned off, the zero pointer start failing forward on the street.
"I hope the classes have more things to destroy."
-/ Delta Area /-
"Hurry up, you guys are on my way!" Mei said using the last robot she hacked to carry the other candidates away from her.
She discovered that all the robots were connected as a collective mind, so she could use the panel of the one she hacked to corrupt the others, making them move the other candidates and attacking the giant robot.
"Now that we are alone, Let's see how much damage you can take." She laughed excited about her battle.
She pressed buttons on the robot she was mounted and soon the others started shooting at the joints on the shoulders of the zero pointer.
Both arms fall on the ground and she then uses her robot to climb to the holes.
"I got you!" She enters the hole where the arm was and sees a bright red light coming from the center.
She uses the blades to cut the cables and the lasers of the tails to destroy the robot from the inside.
She then reaches the core of the robot and opens a hole in the torso so she could escape.
"Sorry my temporary baby, but mama needs to destroy your daddy." She goes to the hole and aims the laser tails on the core, she points her indicator making a gun with her right hand.
"Bang!" The tails fire at the core and she makes the other robots launch missiles on the hole.
The robot she was mounted then jump from the hole and she sees the missiles entering there and destroying the core.
She then starts typing on the robot she was and activated the auto-destruction of the robot.
She puts her hands together as if praying.
"Please forgive me for that sin against all inventors!"
-/ Echo Area /-
Itsuka finally finished wrapping the missiles she got from the destroyed robots around her, she now just need the right moment to put her plan in motion.
She was carrying 4 packs where she wrapped 4 missiles together on each with steel cables and chains she got.
She also wrapped a pair of blades on chains to use it.
"This should be enough!" She starts running while carrying the missiles with her big hands.
It was difficult to run and carry something so heavy, she needs to reach the head of the robot.
"Hey, you oversized toaster!" She sees the robot turn his head to her. "Come and get me!"
When the giant fist comes in her direction she knows it was time to do it. The iron fist hit the ground and Itsuka climb on its finger and start using the blades to climb the robot.
Her giant hands made it easy for the blades to penetrate the metal, she thought that the blade of one robot could damage the others, so this was useful.
She had an objective and that was to win.
She climbed fast, using her giant hands to impulse herself, she was halfway to the shoulder when she saw the other hand coming to grab her.
She jump just in time to avoid being caught and keep going to the robot's neck, she sees that it was the most fragile part.
She then starts spinning one of the cables from the missiles she packed.
She throws on the neck and sees exploding, making a hole in the neck.
She uses another pack to hit on the same spot, it enters the hole but didn't explode.
A giant hand came in her direction again and she uses one of her packs on it, she jumps leaving the hand to grab the missiles.
She then reaches the shoulder and sees the hole with the missiles there still intact.
Suddenly an auto-turret came from the shoulder and start shooting at her.
"Shit!" She then runs to the hole using the blades to avoid being hit and place the last pack there.
"I hope this works!" She runs again to the shoulder using the blades to cover her body.
She enlarges her hands again and uses them to force the turret to shot at the missiles on the hole.
The explosion separated the head from the body and she got a huge smile on her face.
"I did it, I think being near them for so long made me insane too." She was laughing at how crazy this idea was.
-/ Foxtrot Area /-
Neito was using the quirk of the girl to make the weapons of the robots attack the giant enemy.
He made the missiles hit the red lens on its head, making the robot blind.
He used the blades to hit the joints on its arms, ripping them off.
And he made the electricity cables wrap around its legs, making it fall.
He then sees that the robot was moving again and now it looks angry.
"Would help if I said this isn't personal?" He said and jumped on a plate he was using to move with the quirk.
He went off the roof just in time for the shoulder turrets not to hit him.
He then sees missiles being launched from the back of the robot and start to fly for his life, a good thing he is used to skating so he had a good balance.
He then decides to get more blades from the destroyed robots and launched them on the turrets.
"Now just be a good robot and be quiet." He then sees the plate on the middle of the head opening and many small robots came in his direction. "Well, shit!"
He uses the many blades to cut the small robots, he then sees the robot trying to get up again and the huge thing on its back started shooting a barrage of missiles.
He keeps flying to avoid them, but it was too many.
He then decides that try to get distance wasn't an option and started going in the direction of the robot still trying to get up.
He then passes the missiles and fly in the direction of the hole on its arm and saw the missiles following him.
When the missiles came in his direction he went down at the last second making them enter the hole and exploding the zero pointer from the inside.
He then uses the quirk to make the remaining blades open the torso and cut the core in half.
"You just go-" He suddenly feels that he lost the quirk and fall on the ground, luckily he was on the rooftop of a building.
"There it goes my one line! I guess I used that quirk too much."
-/ Golf Area /-
Yui was running with the blade she got from a robot on her back and one on each hand that she used her quirk to make smaller so she could move without a problem.
The plan is simple, reach the right distance and put the move she has been practicing for years to test on real combat.
She was at the left leg of the robot and decided to start her plan.
She aims at the knee of the enemy and uses her quirk to make the blade grown fast and rip the leg off.
The robot lost balance and she did the same to the other leg, making him fall on its back.
'Great, now I just need to do like dad!' She starts running to the head when she was forcing her body to the limit, but she was determined.
The robot tries to get up again, but she climbs on the left hand and runs on the arm of the robot, when she reaches the elbow, she uses her quirk to make the blade big again and cut the arm.
'Almost, I just need to-' Her thought was interrupted by the auto-turret on the shoulder, She reaches into her pocket and grabs a small metal plate from it.
She makes the plate big enough to cover her and kept running to the head, the robot's right hand then comes and she dodges before it could grab her.
The zero pointer then start getting up, making her lose balance and fall from its arm.
'I can't get close, I guess I will have to use my best move then but is better to hold back to not destroy the buildings.' She then looks at the neck and decides that she would attack there.
She puts both hands on the blade and aims at the neck.
"Lotus Cut!" She whispers and uses her quirk on the blade, making it not only large but also long enough to pass through the neck, cutting it easily.
'The name is temporary, but it's cool anyway.' She looks at the destroyed robot and thinks about how glad she is for asking to be trained by Isolte.
-/ Evaluators Room /-
Nezu was laughing loudly at the shocked expressions of his employees, he knew they would react that way when his loved "nephews/nieces" destroyed the zero pointer.
"T-T-Time's up!" The mic was almost unable to announce the end of the exam after witnessing not one but six candidates destroy a zero pointer each.
"I never saw more than one candidate destroy a zero pointer, is rare to even one deciding to fight against it." Midnight said in shock from what she watched.
"Nezu, what are those kids?" Cementoss looks to his boss laughing.
"They are the next generation of heroes, I can't wait to see them when they stop holding back." After Nezu said that the other people in the room looked at him as if he was mental.
"What do you mean?" Snipe asked curiously.
"Kodai for example could have destroyed the whole Golf area, the robots, and the zero pointer in seconds if she wanted." Nezu smiled, he was loving the reactions he was getting.
"They caused a small scene at the auditorium, right Mic?" Vlad King asked his friend.
"Yeah, a candidate interrupted me when I was explaining the rules and tried to scold the green boy, but the girl with explosive quirk and the other boy defended him, the girl with big hands calmed them," Mic said with a hand on his chin.
"So they know each other? I guess this year you won't expel the whole class Eraser!" Ectoplasm laughed a little.
"They were illogical at trying to fight an enemy that they shouldn't. It wouldn't bring anything for them." Eraserhead said with a tired voice.
"Again with that "logical" shit Shota? To be a hero is to go against the logic, is to fight to protect the others even against all the odds." A new voice said and everyone turned to the door to see Hisashi there with his arms crossed. "The most logical course isn't always the right thing."
"What are you doing here Inferno? " Power loader asked surprised to see the hero.
"I came here to talk with Nezu, but I got here a little early." He was smiling since he knew how the exam would go.
"Want to hear the results now? Or will you wait until your son receives his letter?" Nezu asked smirking.
"I can wait, I want to discover together with him." His tone was happy and Nezu knew why.
"Can you please go away? We are busy enough here." Eraser asked seriously.
"Don't be like that Eraser!" Cementoss put his hand on his friend's shoulder.
"The exam is over and I don't see a problem in talking with some friends." Hisashi's smile was only making Eraserhead annoyed.
"Please don't start a fight here Hisashi, we are happy to see you. How's Inko and the little Izumi?" Snipe asked with a smile under his mask.
"Inko gets more beautiful each day, and Izumi is such cute that we can't resist taking thousands of photos every day. Here!" He takes his phone from his jacket pocket and shows a picture of Izumi in a rabbit costume on Izuku's arms.
"Oh my God! They are so cute, I have to visit your house now to see this cutie in person." Midnight said excitedly, she loves kids even if she doesn't have any of her own.
"You guys can visit any time, we love to have guests." Hisashi let Nemuri look at other photos on his phone.
"Then I will go there on my next day off so we can have some drinks Hisashi." Kan worked and Hisashi together sometimes and he has to admit the man was funny to have around.
"So your son is the boy who just destroyed a zero pointer with one attack?" Ectoplasm asked curious to the man.
"He did? Please send me the video later so we can watch it at home." He wanted to show it to Inko and Izumi as soon as possible.
"Only because is you that is asking, okay!" Mic said laughing a little.
"So can we go talk in your office now Nezu?" Hisashi asked a little more serious now.
"Sure, wait for me there. I will go soon." Nezu then sees Hisashi nod and turn to the door.
"It was good to see everyone, please visit us sometime." He waves to them and leaves the room.
-/ UA Main Gate /-
"Guys!" Shoto yelled while parking the car for them to get in. "How it was?" He offered them some cream soda he bought.
"It was Amazing, I destroyed a robot that was bigger than the buildings." Neito took the can, he can't wait to ask Nezu to see the video.
"You too? I guess all of us decided to fight that thing." Itsuka was glad she wasn't the only insane person to do it, she took a sip of her soda.
"I used one type 3 to destroy the other robots and used his connection with the others to make them attack the giant one." Mei drinks excited to see what UA will allow her to build.
"I used Gáe Bolg to destroy it." Izuku took his can and was rubbing his neck since he was tired.
"I used my AP Shot to open the head and destroy the motherboard." Katsumi sits and takes a soda can from her backseat.
"Used one of the blades to decapitate," Yui said sitting and almost fainted from how tired she was.
"I used One for All to punch it." Melissa was the last one to enter the car.
"Since you guys said how you did, I used a girl with some kind of telepathic quirk to use the missiles against it. and then cute his torso to use a blade from a type 1 to cut the core in half." Neito said while finishing his drink.
"I am a little ashamed to say this, but I kinda went like Kratos vs The Colossus on God of War 2." Itsuka said with a nervous smile.
"Damn girl, it must have been cool!" Katsumi laughed a little when she saw Itsuka getting red.
"My exam is tomorrow, so I hope is something as cool as fighting robots." Shoto now was excited about the exam.
"You will be doing a recommendation exam, maybe is something even harder." Melissa said excitedly.
"Like fight pro heroes?" Mei asked curiously.
"This would be cool, young generation vs old generation." Neito was curious now about how the exam will be.
"We will be here tomorrow with you, you came with us so is only fair." Izuku said with a hand on Shoto shoulder.
"Thanks, I hope I have a good story to tell tomorrow." Shoto said and started driving them home, he can't wait to see how cool the recommendation exam is.
