And just like that, pretty much everything was gone.

Beacon had been destroyed.

Penny had been killed.

Vale wasn't safe.

But most importantly…

They were gone.

Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang.

The four of them were now spread across the world in the aftermath of the Fall. You fought and fought, but when the day broke, everyone was gone. Communications were dead. Hell, any of them could be dead. Brothers know that last night had taken a number of people from the world.

So… now what? You don't have much of a home to return to. Vale is gone. You're alone. The people you love in this world are… you have to hope somewhere.

So… after a little while just living on your own, you start walking.

Atlas? Out of the question. They were xenophobic before, and you had heard they tightened borders even more following the drone virus. Not to mention it was on the other side of the world and all. Weiss was sure to have been stolen away by her fath–nah, you doubt her father would bother coming to get her personally, even if Grimm were out of the equation.

Menagerie? It's way out of the way, but possible. Maybe if you could find a ship that ran between here and there. But… what then? This is assuming Blake was even going there. Even after unlocking her backstory, she had kept pretty quiet about her family. You'd arrive, and then have a whole continent to explore to maybe find her. Knowing her, she'd blame herself for this mess and avoid everyone and everything.

That left Patch. A small… patch of island west of the city. A small boat could get you there in the worst-case scenario. All you need to do is get to the coast. Then, maybe, just maybe, you can find Ruby and Yang. It wasn't much of a plan, but there wasn't exactly much else to do.

And so you walked. It was a quiet time as you trekked across the landscape, thankfully meeting few Grimm once you left the greater Vale area. Eventually, you hit the coast, found a ferry, and made your way to the island. From there, you headed towards Signal, the academy Ruby and Yang went to prior to Beacon. After that, you eventually tracked down where they lived.

And so you walked.

After a long time walking, you see it. The house where Yang and Ruby grew up. And she sees you.

"…"

You can hear the silence.

Yang drops the broom she was holding. Even in the distance, you see her face change from solemn, to bright, to on the verge of tears. Breaking into a sprint, she rushes towards you, throwing herself into your open arms, her momentum turning the reunion into a whole spin.

You notice that, like everyone, the Fall had changed her. Yang had one arm to hold you with. Judging from her sobbing, that wasn't the only change. She never liked being seen as weak. She never cried. Even her clothes were bland, boring, and not Yang.

After letting all her pent-up emotions out, Yang recounts what's happened over the last few weeks. One, Ruby was gone. She'd left with JNPR–or JNR, as you learn–to… somewhere. Somewhere Yang wasn't ready to follow. As you imagined, Weiss was back in Atlas, but Blake was completely MIA. She'd run off after Adam of the White Fang removed Yang's arm; though she'd gotten a prosthetic, in her words, it just didn't feel right yet. She'd just been here, at home, learning to just live with all this loss again. You can't blame her after Raven.

But you're here now.

You're the only one here. Ruby, Weiss, and Blake were gone. Sure, her dad was here, as was Zwei, but there was familial love and there was what you all had.

And so you stayed.

You stayed at the Xiao Long residence. You formally met Taiyang and said absolutely nothing about your physical relationship with his daughter. He just now knew you were her close boyfriend, and that you clearly loved her enough to seek her out (with the one convenience that you also didn't have to explain Ruby, either). You sparred with him and Yang, sat at their table, lived a normal life for a while.

One day, you and Yang were alone. Yang hadn't wanted to leave the house in weeks, so Tai left pretty frequently to shop for groceries on his own. After not doing much of anything past watch tv, Yang had found the desire to work on her bike, plus wear her arm. As such, you joined her in the garage and helped her sort through the gears and tools necessary to patch up Bumblebee. It's silent as you two work together, as Yang hadn't really, "talked," in a while; she'd spoken, obviously, but she hadn't really said much since she caught you up to speed on Ruby.

That silence is broken when Yang puts down a wrench and asks, "Am I pretty?"

"Of course," you say without a second of hesitation, having felt this moment coming.

As you expected, Yang looks at her prosthetic. You've seen her stare at the cold, ugly, gray machine that replaced her arm several times after she started wearing it. "Even wi–"

"Even with the arm. Yang, I love you. No matter what happened, you're still the person I fell in love with. That we all did."

"Tell me," Yang says, bluntly. She puts down her wrench and looks at you.

"What?"

"Tell me I'm pretty."

"You're beautiful."

"Tell me." Yang stands to her feet.

"You're the one everyone stared at day one of school."

"Tell me." She looks deeply at you, the light returning to her eyes.

"You are the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen."

"Tell me." She takes a step towards you.

"I love you."

"Prove it to me. All of it." In one motion, Yang rips her ratty tank top over her head, leaving her topless. She continues stepping towards you, forcing you to back into the wall of the garage. Before you can properly prepare, she grabs your shoulders and starts kissing you.

It occurs to you that this is the first time you've kissed Yang since the Fall. She hadn't been herself, and this was the first instance that you've seen her express this much emotion. Her passion had vanished alongside her arm, but now, you were here. You hold Yang's waist and make out with her, feeling that strength inside her that hadn't been there recently. If Yang, the Blonde Bombshell of Beacon, didn't feel pretty, then you would prove it to her.

Yang pushes you further into the wall, pressing her chest into you. Her arms release your shoulders, only to slip under your shirt. Your lips separate for a moment so she could pull your shirt over your head. Skin meets skin as she presses against you, pushing her tongue through your lips and her breasts into your chest. You feel heat and pressure as she unleashes all of the feelings she'd lost on that day.

Taking charge, you push back. Yang allows you to reverse your roles, letting herself get pushed back onto the tool bench. She breaks off from you and fumbles with the buttons on her pants before sliding them down. With her cargos around her ankles, she slips her boyshorts down and braces herself on the bench, waiting for you to do your job and make her feel beautiful.

You unbuckle your pants, forgetting the omnipresent heat baking the garage. All that matters right now is Yang. You remove your pants and enter her, slowly thrusting forward as you drive her up onto the bench. Everything goes fast; usually, there's a bit more preamble to this sort of this, but today, it's hot, heavy, and fast.

This was Yang's passion. Her fire had been smoldering since her friends left her, but something was now stoking it. It wasn't just you; something in her mind woke up and said it was time. Time to burn again.

It was hot.

It was sweaty.

It was perfect.

You load into Yang as her knuckles turn white holding the tool bench. Her body arches backward as she feels you release into her. Just as quickly as Yang had started this whole thing, it was now over, with heavy breaths and suffocating heat.

Gulping in air, Yang says, "Thank you. For everything."

"Of course," you reply, glad you fulfilled your role.

"Hop in the shower with me. You're washing my hair."

"Of course," you reply, glad to know you still have more to do.

"I think it's time to go. To do something."

"And I'll be right by your side."

"I know," Yang says, flashing a soft, loving smile. "Just a few things to take care of, and then we can say goodbye."

The next day, you look at Yang. Her arm was now a stylish black and gold, much more befitting of her color palette. Her clothes included a badass leather jacket with flowing coattails, ready for a brawl. And her hair was a brilliant, shining gold color after a nice wash.

And so you rode.

Together, alongside Yang, you rode across the countryside with one goal in mind: find Ruby. And, considering she could be damn well anywhere, the best way to do that was to find Raven, Yang's mother who abandoned her. Eventually, you did.

And there was… Weiss!?

Yeah, things got a little complicated from there.

The gist of it is, you saved the world. Well, you were there, at least. Naturally, the credit goes to RWBY, and you just happened to be their collective boyfriend. You protected Haven Academy from the White Fang and Salem's forces (though Weiss nearly died. Thanks Jaune!), traveled to Atlas, failed to save Atlas, and from there, things got weird. Also you had a lot of kinky sex in between everything. There was a bit of extradimensional travel, you got stranded on a beach in another dimension, and loads of other stuff happened that you still can't quite believe.

oh yeah you also learned that not only do gods exist there also huge assholes

But anyway, at the end of the day, things were okay again. Salem was purified, leaving the Grimm with no leader; without a queen, there would be no more Grimm coming into existence. That meant that Huntsman and Huntresses were still needed, but far less busy nowadays. What THAT meant was you, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang… well, you got hitched.

Surprising everyone, Yang asked you first. She'd known what she'd do the second you arrived at her doorstep after the Fall. While she loved everyone else just as much, you were there in that moment to remind her of that. It was a small ceremony behind her house. She couldn't stop blushing because she'd actually crafted the rings out of the spare metal from her prosthetic that you helped her work on.

Ruby was second out of convenience. Taiyang eventually figured everything out and stated, "Entire Team," in the exact same tone of voice the five of you used whenever that was brought up. Everyone that lived near the Xiao Long-Roses appreciated the second wedding a week after the first; after all, it wasn't a common sight to see the heroes of the world getting married, so twice in a lifetime is a good bucket list stat.

Blake came next. Thankfully, Menagerie was used to polyamorous weddings, so you, Ruby, and Yang all got hitched to Blake together with her family's blessing. Considering Blake was a princess of sorts, this event took several days and was on a far grander scale than the others.

Weiss was… an odd story with a lot of lead-up. Atlas had been more or less re-established as a nation, and the Schnee legacy was now primarily in name rather than funds. Still, Weiss inherited the connections and the company, split with her brother, while Winter took over as the leader of the nation, using the remains of the war chest to help rebuild Atlas and Mantle as one unified country. Though you and Weiss were the start of this whole relationship, you and she were the last to be formally married, coinciding with the formal reconstruction of a country.

So in total, four weddings, two attended by a small-town population, and two attended by pretty much the entire country you were standing on. It makes for a hell of a story whenever you or your wives recount it.

For now, though, there's still a little story left to tell.
