Did you miss me? Of course not, I don't get away from you guys for more than a week. I was thinking about a new project to work on, but I want to finish Dorks and Dating! I will publish one chapter, so you guys can tell me what you think about it. Don't worry, I will ALWAYS finish my projects. Enjoy the chapter.
It was Monday and everyone was on their way to UA, Izuku was walking with Simo and Brunhilde on his side. The other students were looking at him with surprise and some even asked to pet them. He let them walk a little, then carry both when they get tired.
"Hey, guys!" Izuku sees his friends at the gate, they turn to him, but some eyes go straight at the dogs.
"Oh my God! It's true!" Uraraka crouch to rub their ears. "What are their names?"
"Simo Häyä is the male white and Brunhilde is the black female." Izuku sees both sniffing her fingers.
"Those dogs are indeed cute, may I indulge in petting them?" Reiko asks with her unusual way of speaking. "Maybe I should bring my pets so they can be trained too."
"Of course, you can pet them, you have dogs too?" He was curious about her pets now.
"No, I have a couple of tarantulas, the female will lay eggs soon if the fact I witnessed them partaking intercourse is anything to go by." Reiko notices everyone looking at her before taking a step back. "What?"
"You have tarantulas? And you watched them fuck?" Katsumi was both disgusted and curious.
"Indeed, they are good pets." She just nods while rubbing the dogs' ears.
"As the class representative, I kindly ask you to not bring them." Itsuka was nervous about Reiko bringing spiders.
Before anyone else says anything, they hear loud and fast steps and see Iida coming in their direction.
"What is the meaning of this? Who is responsible for those wild animals at this prestigious school?" He starts moving his hand up and down robotically. "I will call the animal contro-"
"Iida, they are mine and I have Nezu's permission." He sees his classmate having conflicted emotions.
"Will you learn someday to wait for people to talk before start scolding them?" Neito was starting to get annoyed by the way this guy keep acting as if he can order them.
"That's it, if I hear you talking shit like that again with us, I will explode your fucking balls." Katsumi wasn't ready to deal with that so early in the morning.
"Stop that, you two! Iida, those dogs are here to be trained so they can help Izuku with hero work." Melissa was trying to avoid a problem so early.
"Let's go to class, you guys are getting too much attention." Mei points at people staring at them.
"We better got before we are late." Juzo passes Izuku and rubs the dogs' ears.
They went to class, as usual, Izuku was immediately surrounded by his classmates. They were curious about the dogs. He sits in his seat and puts both dogs at his desk.
"They are cute.~ribbit!" Tsuyu was rubbing Brunhilde's ears.
"You plan to train them for hero work? That's manly bro!" Eijiro's comment made Izuku a little embarrassed.
Izuku notice something was wrong because Yaoyorozu was on her seat reading something and didn't even say good morning to them.
"Do you think a substitute will come?" Denki was curious about who would teach them while Aizawa take care of his wounds.
"They must call a pro hero or someone that isn't busy right now." Sero pokes Simo's belly, he always wanted a dog, but his parents never allowed it.
They hear the door opening and see Eraser there looking like a mummy and both his arms were in a cast.
"You are all too noisy, class is starting." They look at the man sitting and even if he couldn't move his arms he would still teach them.
'I don't know if he is a dedicated teacher or just stubborn.' They think at the same time.
They heard the door opening again and see Vlad King there, he looks around the class and stop at Izuku. He starts walking in his direction and just stares at both dogs, the students don't say anything at the man's intense stare.
"Here!" He put chew toys, dog biscuits, and a brush. "Midoriya, you did well!"
He gave the thumbs up before leaving the classroom, Izuku look at the door and See his friends of class 1-B there waving at him.
'What just happened?' The students were confused about why the homeroom teacher of class 1-B did that.
"I prefer cats, but I like dogs too." Aizawa said from his desk. "Just make sure to clean anything they mess."
"Y-Yes, sir!" Izuku thought this day was getting weirder by second.
"I want to warn all of you about the Sports Festival that will happen in two months, besides the classes, you are free to use the training grounds and other facilities to train. Just ask your class representatives." He hears the students whisper between themselves. "This is a great opportunity to get the attention of pros and help with your image for the public."
"Aizawa sensei, could I get the list of the facilities that are free for us and until what hour we can use them?" Izuku asks his teacher knowing his classmates would like to train as soon as possible.
"Sure, I will give you after school. Your class will get plenty of attention since you had to deal with the villain attack, so this is a chance to show what you can do." Aizawa knows some would get even more attention than others.
"HELL YEAH! I will win and rub my sweet victory on that damn copycat face." Katsumi raises her fist in the air. "I can't wait to see his crying face."
"So the first thing you think to do after winning is to go straight at Neito?" Shoto's smirk made Katsumi turn her head to him with a raised brow.
"Do you want me to explode your face pretty boy?" She was making small explosions with her hands.
"Kacchan please, at least wait for the competition." Izuku knew she would react like that, she loves a challenge.
"Icchan, we can't forget to call the ghost girl today, if she will be part of our project she must be there to help." Katsumi looks at Izuku and he nods.
"Good to see you are all so excited but don't forget that injuries from training won't serve as an excuse to be lazy at classes." He wouldn't allow them to be lazy, that was his role. "Now, be quiet because I won't write anything on the board for a while."
Classes went as usual, but the students were excited about the sports festival. Simo and Brunhilde were chewing the toys Vlad King brought and each teacher that came decided to pet the dogs a little before starting their lessons. After Midnight class was finished and they were free to go lunch, they look at Uraraka that was exhaling a deadly aura.
"Let's train hard guys!" They look at her a little worried by her expression. "We have to do our best at the sports festival."
"U-Uraraka? Your eyes are scary." Izuku thinks it's interesting that she is already so hyped, Simo and Brunhilde were at his lap sleeping.
"What's up with you round face?" Katsumi was looking at her with a raised brow.
"EVERYONE! I WILL DO MY BEST!" She yell and raise her fist in the air full of determination, her sudden yell made Simo and Brunhilde jump from Izuku's lap.
"Shh, It's okay. She is just excited about school." Izuku rubs their ears to calm them.
"EVERYONE! I SAID I WILL DO MY BEST!" She turns to her other classmates and they nervously raise their fists too.
"Stop yelling, you scared them" Katsumi slaps the back of her head and points in the dogs' direction.
"Oh my God! Sorry you two, I forgot you were sleeping." Uraraka was back to her usual self.
"Let's eat guys, everyone is waiting." Izuku takes both dogs in his arms and goes to the door, when he opens the door he sees many students there waiting. "C-C-Can I help you?"
"So those are the guys that defeated the villains? They don't look strong." One girl with long black hair, four red eyes with a scorpion tail, and pinches look smugly at Izuku.
"He even brought those mongrels to school? I guess he is using the fame to get what he wants." A guy with a rhinoceros mutation quirk looks at both dogs that whine at Izuku's arms.
"Look at them, they are cowards." A girl with yellow eyes and short spiked brown hair with hedgehog mutation quirk smirk at the dogs' reaction.
"What the fuck are you extras doing here?" Katsumi was ready to explode their faces if they insult Izuku or the dogs again.
"We heard about the sports festival and came here to see the class that got so much attention." A guy with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're half-closed, and he has very dark eye bags underneath them.
"We were attacked by villains, it wasn't a vacation. Many were hurt there." Shoto try to pass, but the students didn't move.
"All the other students will be compared to your class thanks to that, so we came here to see how you were." The girl with the scorpion quirk looks at them.
"And by what we are seeing, it's not impressive" The guy with purple hair smirked at Katsumi's anger.
"If you want to prove yourselves, they wait for the sports festival!" Itsuka uses her quirk to open a path so she can pass with her friends. "No need to start something on the hallway."
"Besides, those that will defeat them are us." Neito gets between Katsumi and the students. "And the one that will defeat you, popcorn girl, is me!"
"We will see about that copycat." Katsumi and Neito were staring at each other and the tension was clear for everyone.
"The sports festival is an opportunity for those that couldn't enter the hero course because of the practical exam, so if anyone from other classes proves themselves, they can take the place of any of you." The girl with the hedgehog quirk smirks seeing that they didn't know about that.
"Then prove yourselves there, now if you excuse us, we are hungry." Setsuna starts walking with the group to the cafeteria.
The students watch them walking away and it was clear that the sports festival would be even more interesting now.
-/ UA Cafeteria /-
They were sitting on a table, while Simo and Brunhilde were eating on the bowls Izuku ut on the ground. Lunch Rush was kind enough to prepare some food for the dogs, he said that all UA staff had at least one pet.
"Itsuka, why did Kan sensei come to our class and give those things to me?" Izuku was wondering the reason the pro hero would do that.
"He owns a dog, is a Transilvanian Bulls." Itsuka explains before taking a bite of her steak. "So when he heard about them, he decided to pamper them a little."
"Hound Dog was happy to know about you, but I guess this should be expected." Juzo notices the other students staring at them. "I guess this should be expected too."
"People didn't shut up about the attack, It was getting between me and my babies." Mei turn to Katsumi and smile. "I finished with the gauntlets, you can pick them after school."
"Sweet! I can't wait for the sports festival, we have two months to finish the project. At least one prototype must be ready until there." Katsumi then pokes Izuku's side and whispers at his ear. "Don't forget to tell her."
"Yeah, thanks for reminding me. Reiko!" The ghost girl turn to him with a raised brow since he was whispering. "We are working on a project and I would like to invite you to be part of it if you are interested."
"May I ask what project is that?" She knows that they must be doing something interesting, they don't fail to impress her.
"We are working on a project for the sports festival, we will build robots to be our assistants. We went to Takoba beach and cleaned everything when we were looking for parts to use, that's how I found Simo and Brunhilde." He whispers at her ear and point at the dogs eating.
"I see, are thou certain that want me to partake in such a project?" She was experiencing many first times with this group, first real friends, first people to call her quirk cool, first comfortable conversation, and now they want her to be part of their project?
"Yeah, I did suggest your name and everyone agreed." He gives her a small smile. "But if you are busy we understand, you don't need to feel forced to participate."
"It would be my pleasure to partake in such an interesting project!" She gave him a small smile before they continue eating.
"Do you guys know why Recovery Girl didn't treat Aizawa?" Uraraka was wondering why the pro was still in such bad condition.
"Her quirk requires the person's vitality to heal, so I guess she can't do much with someone that is always tired." Melissa thought it was weird to not tell him to rest.
"That explains a lot." Yui said in her neutral tone while looking at Melissa.
"How are things in your classes? Both were at the attack too so people must ask a lot right?" Juzo was curious about how the two stars from the support course are dealing with the attention. "Someone challenged you to a fight?"
"No, Mei ignores everyone and I just change the subject." Melissa know Mei wasn't exactly an example of social skills.
"If they don't want to talk about my babies, I don't care." Mei continues to eat while working on their project with Melissa.
While they were eating, Momo watch the group, but she was in deep thought about what her mother said after the attack.
-/ Yaoyorozu Company Main Build - Two Hours after Kiyomi left UA /-
Momo was sitting in silence while her mother talk with the shareholders of the other companies she will buy. She knows her mother will want to talk with her about her progress, of course, she would, what other reason does her mother have to talk with her besides wanting to hear her report about the things she orders.
Momo was sitting there as if she was one of them, always proper, polite, her face must be neutral all the time, she was the perfect daughter and heir of the biggest company in the country and one of the biggest in the world.
After the last man left the room, Kiyomi turned to her daughter, one simple look and she know what she must do, both leaving and going to Kiyomi's office. They walk in complete silence and when they enter her office Kiyomi sits on her chair and looks at Momo as if she was just another employee.
"Care to explain what happened? I thought you would have done what I ordered by now!" Her mother's tone was intimidating, there was no space for argument. "I told you to approach him and from everything you have reported me, you waste too much time."
"I am sorry mother! His friends are always with him which makes it hard to approach him to talk properly, but since we are the class representatives we may be able to talk after school." Momo tries to show something positive so her mother wouldn't be so disappointed.
"At least something good came from this situation." Momo sigh in relief that her mother wasn't so disappointed with her. "At least Hisashi, Inko, and Kaina are now aware that I am around."
Momo look at her mother with wide eyes, she wasn't glad for her situation, but the Midoriya family and Lady Nagant?
"You are one of their sponsors?" Momo tries to not show her emotions, she was doing that for years.
"Don't be a fool, Hisashi wouldn't allow me to get close to his family, Kaina otherwise made some jobs for me, even if she didn't know about it." Kiyomi looks at her daughter. "I will give you a month if you fail to at least be on good terms with him..."
"Don't worry mother, I won't disappoint you." Her mother didn't need to finish, Momo know she would be punished for failing.
"You better not, now go! Take the helicopter and go back home to plan your move." Kiyomi sees her daughter bow before leaving. "II better call them in case she fails."
She dials the number and waits for a little until they answer.
"Hello, we need to talk!"
-/ UA Cafeteria- Present Time /-
'She knows his parents and Lady Nagant, I only have a month so I will use our position as class representatives at max.' She was eating in silence when she feel something rubbing her legs, she looks down and see Brunhilde and Simo there. 'His dogs? What are they doing here?'
She look at Izuku's table and notice him looking at her, he was about to go take them back since he thought they were bothering her. He got surprised when she just scratches their necks, She never had a "pet" her family have farms with many prized animals there, but never house pets.
"Aren't you cute? But you shouldn't leave your owner's side." She sees Izuku coming in her direction while his friends just watch.
"Hey, Yaoyorozu. Sorry about them, I came as soon as I saw." He pic both dogs and she just smile.
"Don't worry, Midoiya! I don't mind, and we will work together after school right?" She knows the sports festival will be a great opportunity to spend more time after school to work.
"Yeah, we can talk after school when I get the list. There are some things I think would be good for class too." He turns to go back to his friends. "See you later, Yaoyorozu."
"Bye, Midoriya!" She waves at him but notices his friends staring at her. 'I guess you can't approach the king without dealing with his guards.'
She thought about what she should do, she can approach Izuku when they do their work as class representatives together, but she needs more. She look at Itsuka and Neito.
'They will work together with us, so approaching them would make the plan easier.'
-/ Class 1-A Afternoon /-
Izuku got the list with Aizawa and was trying to see a way to help his classmates, his friends and him always train together so they won't use them. Momo was taking care of the class report.
Simo and Brunhilde were playing with a ball Vlad King gave him early, Izuku smiled watching them run around the classroom.
"I was thinking about asking our classmates about their quirks so I can try to help them with new ways of using it." He suggests while filling his report.
"They may think you are trying to discover their weakness, I suggest helping them with what we already know." She can see some people thinking like that, she would suspect if after they discover about the competition someone came to her asking about her quirk.
"We may be at the same competition, but we are not enemies. If they refuse then I will respect their wishes, but if they accept I will do everything I can to help them." He knows some may think he is being arrogant, but he wants to help them.
"Are you sure this is good for you? If they get stronger, you may lose the sports festival." She has a raised brow. 'Is he so sure about his abilities? I know he defeated that thing, but would he be underestimating his classmates?'
"If everyone gets stronger, that will motivate me to train too." He smiles while writing, not noticing Momo looking at him.
They hear the door open and see Itsuka and Neito there, both had a lot of papers on their hands.
"Izuku we are done without reports, how long will take for you to finish?" Neito was worried about Izuku being alone with this girl, he doesn't know why, but he feel like something bad could happen.
"We just finished, I am looking for a good way to help my class train for the sports festival." He put his things in his bag and prepare to leave.
"Hey, Yaoyorozu! It's good that you want to help them, we were doing the same with our class." Itsuka was also worried about this girl, but she was less obvious about it. She gets the ball the dogs were playing with and starts playing with them.
"Melissa said that her class still hasn't decided about their representatives, but they must do it tomorrow." Izuku knows the support class is busier than their classes since they have constant work.
"They will be the class representatives, people will vote for them since they were at the attack." Neito was sure they would be voted, but if Mei will accept is another story.
"Can you imagine Mei being responsable?" Itsuka chuckle, Mei wasn't exactly good at following rules.
Momo clears her throat and they remember that she is there, they would feel uncomfortable if they were in the same situation.
"Sorry for interrupting, but we must report to our teachers." She stands and gets her things.
"Let's go then." Izuku grabs all the papers. "I can carry without a problem."
"I am not weak Midoriya, I can carry half of it." She takes half of the pile and starts walking.
"After we give the papers to the teachers we can go to Melissa's place and start working." Itsuka was excited to get back to work.
"Yeah, let's do our best to get everything ready for the sports festival." Neito was walking beside Izuku while Itsuka was behind the with Momo.
"Let's pray that Mei doesn't explode anything until then." Izuku laughs a little.
'Must be nice! Have friends like that.' Momo notice that Itsuka was now beside Izuku.
"Hey, Yaoyorozu? If you need someone to train with you, I can help." Izuku turns to her smiling. "Just warn me early."
"S-Sure, I would like that." She was surprised that he was offering help to her, but she couldn't show much or his friends could suspect. 'I have no idea what he is thinking, but I won't complain.'
They go to the teacher's office to give their reports and it was hard for Izuku to leave since some teachers wanted to play with the dogs.
'It's kinda strange to see Hound Dog playing with them.' They thought while they watch the pro hero "talking" with the dogs.
This chapter is a little short because I am doing the final touch on my own motorcycle so I didn't have much time. See you all next time, and don't forget that any feedback is appreciated.
