R & R longer note at the end

The two girls wondered the long hallways of a nearby temple, the usually busy tourist attraction had been evacuated after strange sounds could be heard echoing the halls after numerous investigations nothing had been found however the strange growls and howling could still be heard.

"Why are we doing this?" the green haired girl asked her voice devoid of emotion a she looked over her companion "This is boring I wonder if there is a place I can nap around here". The black haired swordswoman looked at her as she sighed, after receiving the summons she had rushed to the scene only to find the renegade Hikage waiting at the temple entrance, given the choice she would have picked one of her own group however the choice had been removed from her hands.

"Hikage just focus" she responded as the girl's amber eyes turned to lock on her blue ones "When this job is done you can go home and nap all you want, for now please just focus I need to know I can rely on you". Ikaruga continued walking as she wondered when this job had turned from work to babysitting, the two continued further in silence before reaching a stairwell in the back the swordswoman looked around seeing no other paths before she rested her eyes on the two sets of stairs in front of them.

"Seems we need to split up" Ikaruga said as she pondered the choices, if the source of the strange occurrences was truly a Yōma then which way would it be? She was snapped out of her thoughts as the green haired girl began to make her way down, she watched feeling a little annoyed before turning to head upstairs if this girl wanted to go off on her own then so be it.

Ikaruga reached the top of the stairs as she looked around her hand clutching the hilt of her sword as she peered down the hallway, she saw no signs of danger as she stepped out walking down the long path in front of her, she turned to look at the stairs behind her wondering if the other girl was alright before shaking her head focusing on her task.

She had made her choice and now she would have to live with it, after a few more minutes she stopped her ears perking up as she heard a growl echo through the hallways, the sounds of a battle somewhere below her without a second thought she headed back at full speed despite how annoying her companion for the mission was she would never abandon someone in need.

Hikage dodged as the Yōma thrashed its tail in her direction, despite the limited movement in the narrow hallway she noticed the creature didn't seem to face any disadvantage seemingly used to fighting in the confines it found itself in. Hikage continued to dodge as he monitored the lizard like creature's movements looking for an opening, she knew she couldn't dodge forever it was time for her counter attack to begin.

"Secret ninja art: Splatter" Hikage called out as she stopped moving her body hunching over as the Yōma readied its next attack a purple aura consumed the green haired girl's body, her head jerked up suddenly as her eyes flashed red a large shockwave suddenly struck the creature as it was thrown backwards through the double red doors it seemed to be guarding. Seeing the opening Hikage rushed forward her knife clutched in her hand as she slashed at every inch of the Yōma's body she could reach a manic expression on her face as the creature's body was sliced up.

Hikage panted as she brought her knife down to her side the creature laying in pieces at her feet, she looked around seeing something she hadn't expected as a yellow haze began to coat the room.

"Hikage!" Ikaruga called out as she walked down the hallway looking at the damaged area around her, she moved forwards not seeing any sign of her companion or the Yōma after a brief second she stopped standing at the broken doors seeing the remains of the Yōma resting on a pile of golden coins. Ikaruga's eyes widened as she took in the sight before her, the room was filled with gold she bent down picking up one of the coins as she examined it in her hand.

"Mine!" came a voice from her left as something rushed her pushing her into the pile of coins behind her, the sound of metal scraping across the floor echoed as her sword slipped from her grip, she looked around struggling under the grip of her attacker "Mine! It's all mine!" Ikaruga continued to struggle as her eyes began to focus on the mystery attacker, the figure of a person began to form as she noted the short green hair, the amber snake like eyes staring directly into hers as realisation set in, before she could call out again the girl moved forwards pressing her rather soft lips against her own. Ikaruga's eyes widened once more as she felt her need to resist began to dissipate feeling her body react to the sudden warmth kissing back for a brief moment before Hikage moved away a satisfied grin appearing on her usually emotionless features.

"Mine" she said as she leaned in kissing the swordswoman once more.

So another randomly thought up ship Ikaruga X Hikage, now given Hikage's usual emotionless ways this seemed like a very interesting way to have a little fun and given Ikaruga's way this is the best person that could ever have been chosen for Hikage to claim as her own in a fit of greed
