Author's note: Since the new Obi Wan Kenobi series has come out, I have most definitely gotten back into my star wars feels. It has inspired me to write another fanfic.

Story plot: It has been ten years since the birth of Leia Amidala (Secretly Skywalker). She lives back on Naboo with her mother who remains a senator, her father Anakin Skywalker is still one of the most powerful jedi's to have ever lived and though the war is over - the tragedy was far from being avoided. Anakin ended the war and the galaxy lived in somewhat peace, but a new war was to begin and why? Because Senator Amidala was pregnant with her second child. His second child. Little Leia Organa has to live her life dealing with the consequences of her father's actions.

A/N: I do not own any of the characters or the plots of star wars! I hope you enjoy and would love to hear your reviews!

9 BBY - Naboo, Theed.

It had been 10 year since Master Jedi Anakin Skywalker put an end to the clone wars, alongside his padawan Ashoka and his master Obi Wan. Many of his fellow jedi had been lost in the war but forever remembered and the prophecy that Anakin was the chosen appeared to have been more than lived up to expectation, his reputation across the galaxy was that like no other. Whilst in his formative years the power trip felt incredible, but he was now 34 years old, fought in many battles, trained many younglings, seen more than most of the systems in the galaxy and proven himself a thousand times over. The only thing Anakin cared about more now was his secret wife and daughter, who were back on Naboo.

Leia Amiadala, secretly Skywalker, was 9 years old, soon to turn 10. She was the only child of Padme and Anakin and how loved she was. They had trained her so well, Leia knew the reasons why she couldn't refer to Anakin as her father in public, why she couldn't tell anyone, why it had to remain a secret and whilst she understand, Padme found it hard to force her child to pretend that her father was nothing but a friend to her when in the company of others. Leia's fire was much like Anakin's, she was rebellious, brave, passionate, disobedient at times and she most definitely had his attitude, but in so many other ways she was much like Padme - much in her looks. She was beautiful, she had Padme's grace, her etiquette, her leadership, her stubbornness, her ability to make everyone she met fall in love with her and Anakin could not be any prouder of his sweet little girl.

With the war over and the galaxy somewhat at peace, it meant that the Jedi were a little more free to reside where they wished, so long as they kept up regular communication with the council, attended regular meetings on Coruscant and ensured the peace on their planets. Of course each system had its own conflicts and it was the responsibility of the Jedi to bring peace and balance to these systems. Anakin remained in Coruscant along with Obi Wan and Yoda as well as a few others as they trained younglings and worked alongside the senate ensuring the galaxy's safety remained, however, Anakin was the main protector of Padme and Leia and so even though his home was on Coruscant, a lot of his time was spent watching over the women on Naboo - which meant, they could be their happy little family together. He had to do whatever it took to ensure that their secret did not get out whilst still being able to spend time with the two he loved most, this was the only way.

"Leia! Breakfast is ready." Padme called out from their secluded home in the wooded area by the lakeside, just like Padme had imagined. There were beautiful fields where the animals grazed, next to the most beautiful lake with a waterfall nearby, it was far enough to remain unsuspected but close enough for Padme and Leia to head back into the city for Senate duties. No questioned it as Padme had always spoke about this being her dream home, no one had questioned Padme being a single mother either, her story was that she had decided to become a mother on her own, she had always longed for children and felt the time was right, this was her decision and so her child had no father. A hard lie but a necessary one and it worked. "Coming mother!" Leia shouted back, climbing down from the tree she was up in and running to the home. "Hmmm, it smells delicious." She said with a big smile, "It's your favorite." Padme said softly, watching as her sweet girl washed her hands and sat at the table. Bringing the food over she smiled softly watching as Leia ate with such manners, "We are to go to the capital today, the queen wishes to discuss some important matters." Padme told her softly, "Of course mother, I will be sure to be on my best behavior." She promised with a smile, "I know you do not always like to stick to the rules Leia, but if you behaved as well as you climbed you would make all of this a lot easier on yourself." Padme chuckled. Before Leia could even comment, a voice came from the doorway. "Now who wants to make things easier? That's no fun." He teased, Leia looked up and smiled so big. "Daddy!" she squealed, literally jumping out of her seat and running to her father whom she hadn't seen in person for almost 3 weeks. Anakin smiled big, lifting her up, "There's my girl, I've missed you." He said softly, holding her tightly in his arms, though she was 9, she looked tiny in his arms. Padme smiled big, "Anakin." She whispered out walking up to her husband, kissing him gently. "Padme." He whispered, kissing her back and holding her close. This was his perfection, his two girls in his arms. "How's my baby?" He asked Padme who moved her hand to her small 6 month bump. "Growing." She chuckled, "I think it's going to be another girl, unlucky dad you have truly been outnumbered." Leia said with a grin, causing them to chuckle. "Oh Leia, you truly do not appear 9." He teased kissing her cheek and putting her down, "Besides, if I have to live the rest of my life surrounded by three of the most beautiful girls, then so be it. It is a fate I am willing to accept." He smirked, sending his daughter a playful wink. Padme smiled big watching, she loved their bond. "Have you eaten?" She asked her husband, who shook his head. "Well, you are in luck because I just made breakfast."

After breakfast, some family time and changing into their formal wear, they all head into the capital and to the palace. "Master Skywalker, I was not expecting you here. Though it is the most welcomed and pleasant surprise." The queen said to him softly with a smile as they approached.

"It has been a while since I have shown my face, your majesty, I thought it would be most appropriate when escorting the senator and her youngling to the palace." He smiled softly. Padme smiled, Anakin had such a way with everyone, which is why all of what would happen would be so devastating for the entire galaxy.

"Your presence will never go unwanted." The queen reassured him, "My dear Padme, how you are glowing. You are well?" She asked her good friend, "I am Queen Sosha." Padme responded with a smile.

"Wonderful and sweet Leia, how you grow more beautiful every day." She smiled stroking the younger girl's cheek, Leia smiled and bowed slightly. "Thank you, your grace." She said softly. Anakin was so proud at how well his baby girl took to the rules.

"Shall we discuss matters? Master Skywalker, you may attend also, the Jedi may come in great hands." She said with a smile, Anakin smiled before following.

"Leadership on Scariff have called for aid from both Naboo and Alderaan, I am currently working alongside Queen Breha and Senator Organa to develop an action plan, but for now, they require supplies and general support for those affected by the conflict." Queen Sosha said softly.

"But I thought they created their own conflict? They chose to fight against themselves." An innocent Leia said softly, Padme clenched her jaw, sometimes she couldn't hold her tongue, much like Anakin.

"It does not matter Leia, our role is to protect the people in this galaxy and we will do whatever it takes to support and help them." Padme said softly.

"But what if they start fighting with each other again? All our help will be for nothing." She said in a pout, she was smart and brave and mature for her age, but she was still learning all about the ways in which these planets worked. They weren't all as fortunate as Naboo, or Coruscant and Alderaan.

"That is what the Jedi are for, to prevent conflict and support if conflict does arise." Anakin said softly to his daughter who just nodded. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to speak out of line." Leia said softly, looking down at her fingers.

"A curious mind does not mean you have spoken out of line young Leia. You will find it easier to understand as you get older and you will one day truly understand." Sosha said with a smile.

"I will inform the Jedi council of my whereabouts and my assistance, upon request of the queen. Do you have a team to help?" Anakin asked softly, as Padme looked through the information and communication between senators, leadership and the three planets. "The Naboo army will go also, it sounds as if Scariff needs as much help as they can get." Sosha said with a nod. "Of course." Anakin nodded.

"We will gather everything we need and leave immediately." Padme said with a smile, helping others was what she lived for. Though she had stepped down from the full responsibility of senator so that she could raise Leia, she still very much carried the title and had a lot of influence in decisions being made.

On the ship, Leia was playing with her bot who she had named Lola whilst Anakin and Padme spoke. "Are you sure you are going to be okay Padme? I don't want anything happening to you or the baby." He said softly, worried as always. Padme smiled softly and moved her hands to his chest, "You are forgetting that I carried Leia through the entire war, fought alongside you and gave birth before it was even over." She chuckled, "We will be fine, we always are." she promised him, kissing his chin. "Yes and you are forgetting how stressed I was the entire time." He said with a chuckle, his hands on her hips. "I know you will be, I will make sure of it." He said softly, kissing her gently. Padme responded to the kiss before pulling back gently, "I do not think it is me that either of us should be worrying about, it is your daughter…she is much like you and I most definitely remember all the trouble you got us into." She smirked, nudging him slightly. "I think this pregnancy has clouded your brain, Padme, because from what I remember, It was me constantly having to divert my mission plan to save you." He teased. Padme chuckled, "Let's just go." She chuckled, going to sit in the co-pilot seat, "Strap up Leia." Anakin said softly, waiting for her to be safely secured in and setting off.
