4 ABY - Somewhere in the Moddell Sector

The journey back to Endor had been quiet. Leia had been awfully quiet, since the connection with Vader she hadn't spoken a word. She feared that by letting him in she had let everyone down, especially her brother. She sat at the back of the ship watching as the emptiness of space passed her by out the window. Clenching her jaw she wiped the tear from her face, she never imagined her life to be like this, to be so sad.

It was only when she heard the doors open and close again that she looked up, seeing Ben walking towards her then sitting down with her. "Something is happening to me Ben and I don't know what. I can't control it." She whispered, sadly looking down. Ben knew exactly what she was talking about, he could guide her.

"I always knew you know." He said with a small smile. "That he was your father." He added once more, seeing the confused look on Leia's face. "Whenever I saw you as a child, I always thought you were much like him. Of course you resembled Padme in every single way, but you carried many of Anakin's mannerisms." He paused softly. "At first I thought it was because he was your guardian and you had spent a lot of time together, but then I felt it through the force, your energy together, you were so strong in it. I couldn't quite figure out when I had last felt an energy so strong, until I looked at Anakin. I hadn't felt anything like it, but here I was feeling something so strong in the both of you that it was as if you had become one." he said honestly. Leia just sat and listened. "That and I had been with your father since he was 9 years old, at that age you looked very much like him. There was no other explanation." He said softly.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Leia asked softly, looking at him.

"He appeared to manage it so well. I did not see any threat, though I always made sure to check in with him. I think deep down he knew that I knew. He confided in me a lot." Ben said softly, looking at her again.

"He trusted you with his life. I know he loved you so much." She said softly, she loved watching her father's relationship with Obi-Wan. They were both her heroes growing up. Ben just smiled sadly and nodded his head.

"I assumed it was a dyad in the force." Ben said, it seemed to go straight over her head.

"A what in the what now?" She asked, sitting up properly.

"A dyad in the force." He said simply. "A rare type of Force-bond that paired two Force-sensitive beings and made them one with the Force." Leia just nodded her head, pretending she knew what he was talking about. "Your mother wasn't as strong in the force like most, but we are all connected to the force in some way or another." He said softly. "She was force sensitive and that only grew the closer she got to your father, they had become one with the force. It is hard to explain but their connection was so strong, I had not seen it before and I never thought I would see it again, that was of course until you were born." He said softly. "But you were not two individuals, you were blood. It could not be a dyad and so it is something far greater. The connection of blood in the force is far greater. It is why you can see him, hear him, talk to him whilst being lightyears away." He said softly. "It is why he can access your mind and you his." He said softly. "It is something that is unbroken and not even the strongest of force users can control it."

Leia listened on and swallowed hard. "I fear I will become like him." She whispered. "I have nightmares, like the ones he used to have. He never told me about it, but I felt them. I knew they were of pain, of suffering. Mine are of similar nature and I sometimes even get them whilst I'm awake. It is as if they are no longer dreams but visions, premonitions. Every aspect of him that caused his fall, I have, I carry those same traits."

"You will not become him, Leia."

"I saw us. Together on a throne. I was ruling by his side. The Emperor dead and destruction around us. I saw it as clearly as I see you right now." She told him.

"It is only your fear Leia. When you avoid what you fear most it will only haunt you more. It is this that causes the wrongdoings of Anakin." Ben reassured her. She let out a sigh.

"I fear something terrible has happened, on Endor." She whispered. "I just feel it." She said softly. Just then Luke burst through the door.

"Uhm, you guys might want to see this." He said looking rather panicked.

They both got up and headed to the main window as they approached the base in Endor, except it was completely destroyed. Bodies, fire, it was a mess and it had clearly been hit by Vader. Leia swallowed hard, "We have to help them." She said simply as they landed, running out. She looked around and swallowed hard.

As she walked through the destruction she kept seeing visions of the event. How it was so sad, Vader had not shown any mercy. So much destruction. Hearing a voice she ran over and saw the general. "General Takanna." She said softly grabbing him, it was clear he was dying. "What happened?" She asked, as Luke and Ben came over.

"Lord Vader, he attacked us. Destroyed everything." He choked out. Leia clenched her jaw looking up at them.

"Where is Han?" Luke asked.

"They took them…Vader took…" He couldn't even finish his sentence before he died in Leia's arms. This made her angry and her heart ached with the thought of Han getting hurt.

"Leia.." Ben said, feeling how angry she was. "Leia, you need to calm your feelings." He said softly, but like her father she just ignored him. Getting up she stormed past them, into a clearing where she was alone. Closing her eyes as she angrily tried to tap into the force, becoming a connection. "Where are you?!" She asked angrily to herself. "Come on." She whispered. "Come on!" she yelled, before she heard his breathing. Opening her eyes she looked at him.

"Yesss, I can feel your anger. Use it, let it guide you." Vader said in a menacing tone.

""Why are you doing this?!" She asked, she was so angry.

"I will destroy every fleet, every city, village, every planet to draw you out and I will continue to do so until it is you standing by my side. Let yourself go, Leia. Use that anger to guide you to the dark side and join me." He said, stretching out his hand.

Leia narrowed her eyes as her breathing became heavier. "You want me. Fine. But this ends now!" She told him.

"Do not be such a foolish child. This pain will never end."

"Then you have decided your own fate. Your demise will be no tragedy." She said simply, taking a step forward. "Your demise will be with no heavy heart. It will be with no regret, no remorse." As she spoke these words, anger filling up in her tone each time, she took steps towards him, for the first time she truly was not afraid of him or her fate. "Your demise will be victorious and your demise will be at the hands of your own blood." She said firmly, fiercely. She was now inches away from his face, she longed to see the eyes of her father behind the mask but she could not. All she saw was a monster. "You are no longer Anakin Skywalker, I see that now and I am no longer his daughter. I am Leia Amidala and I will put an end to the suffering you have caused." She told him, whilst also showing him flashbacks and memories of little Leia, of the times they spent together. She wanted to hurt him, she wanted to hurt him the way he had hurt her.

Vader watched her, he admired her courage, he admired her bravery, her tone, her fierceness and how she controlled her anger yet let it consume her. He did not fear this child, yet for the first time in a long time, he felt that his power was threatened. He breathed heavily and stayed silent for a moment.

"If that is the path you have chosen, then you are responsible for the death of millions. Including Luke." He said simply before disappearing. Leia watched and clenched her jaw before yelling out in anger and frustration. This torture and torment had to end now.

Vader was also furious at the interaction and had lashed out at most of his guards, before turning to Han. "Something pissed you off?!" Han asked sarcastically, if he was going to die my god he was going to die unfearful. Vader looked at him and hissed before force choking him. "You will be wise to choose your words carefully, scoundrel. I have no interest in killing you…yet." He said simply, watching as Han fought for his breath though his hands were tied up. Letting go, Han gasped for air before Vader stormed out.
