Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prince of the Vampires. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Hotel Transylvania, Sony and a few others.

(Europe.)

Lennix allowed Mavis to drag him along. He was having too much fun being around the hyperactive vampire he now called his girlfriend.

Girlfriend… such a simple term, and yet it carried so much weight. He looked at Mavis who rocked on her heels like this was… no, this actually was the first time according to what he heard.

Which made it all the funnier that Mavis was dancing around the vampire prince.

"Chill, Mave. Your live longer." Lennix joked, Mavis smirked at him, but said nothing.

It was hard not to understand how sheerly amused he was at her antics… also, he knew for a fact vampire were immortal, their skin would not degrade since it would such regenerate.

Mavis poked him in his masked face, Lennix finally got the hint he wasn't going to win anything and removed his mask along with pulling up his hood. He sighed in sheer amusement before smirking.

"Can you not poke the mask I made? It's supposed to look cool and keep the sunlight out of my face." Lennix smirked even more as Mavis leapt onto a street post and kicked her feet as she danced around it.

"Then stop wearing it on our date, dork. You know for a fact that it isn't needed here." Mavis stated, Lennix rolled his eyes and turned away from the adorable vampire he called his girlfriend.

"I want to point out that this is a date… and you're not taking this seriously." Lennix hummed and turned to the side with a gleam in his eyes.

Lennix wasn't taking this seriously? she was dancing around and making noise all over the place, it was sheerly funny to him when it came down to it.

Lennix turned to see Mavis's beautiful ocean eyes before blushing knowing how adorable she could be. He questioned how a socially awkward prince like him could date such a cute and wonderful woman like this.

Lennix rubbed at his chin, cracking his neck. It would be soon be sunrise, which would burn and kill Mavis, and maim him if he wasn't careful.

Lennix turned to look at Mavis before clearing his throat, letting his girlfriend know that it was about time for them to leave.

"Mave…" Mavis knew, one of the few downsides of being a vampire, they had to run from the sun, a human didn't.

Mavis turned into a bat and flew into the sunlight, he chuckled and turned into another swarm of bats and followed her.

Each bat carried a part of Lennix, he could turn into a small bat like Mavis did… but it wasn't as easy as him.

Lennix had heard from the massive army of orcs and goblins that served as staff and soldiers for his family? His mother took ill, not something that surprised him, she was human turned vampire, which didn't entirely protect her from the effects of aging.

Lennix wanted his mother to meet Mavis, the woman would constantly go on about how it was so annoying he didn't meet someone nice.

Yes, tell your over son, who was over 100 years old… who you often doted on, to go and mingle with women when as a vampire he had biological immunity.

"Lennix!" Mavis's yells broke Lennix out of his stupor as he blinked and looked around, thoroughly confused at the moment as Mavis giggled to herself.

Lennix rolled his eyes mentally. He could really fault her for laughing at him as she found the level of cluelessness from her boyfriend funny with all due respect to him.

Still? That didn't mean he didn't wish to get her back for that antic considering that she was entirely focused on joking around.

"Hmm?" Lennix asked with a hum as he sighed and looked at his girlfriend.

Lennix got an eyeroll from his girlfriend before she flew into the sky. he followed after her while he rolled all over, the flock of bats, whirling into a group, a flock, a swarm.

"Seriously what? it's late, Vampires sleep during the day. You dragged me out of bed before I could even get much sleep to take you around town." Lennix stated, transforming and crack his neck before transform himself into a flock of bats once more.

It was only when she smiled in amusement before looking around at her boyfriend as he chased after her with a giggle. Lennix swirled around before flying towards the forest they had started at when they got here.

Mavis landed in a tree before transforming into vampire form as she looked at Lennix who landed in a pool of smoke.

He hummed, cracking his joints and yawning, Mavis found the issue adorable simply because Lennix's eyes drooped only slightly.

"That's not funny, Mave." He cracked his neck, looking to the side and tilting his head.

"Yes, yes, it is." The vampire clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.
