Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prince of the Vampires. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Hotel Transylvania, Sony and a few others.

There was a few reasons Lennix never brought Mavis outside of Europe.

He hadn't been to America or another country. So, he had no real idea what they were like.

Dracula, despite letting his daughter go outside the hotel? Lennix heard he would be killed by the elder Vampire if he left the country with Mavis. It was more out of respect for the legendary monster then fear that had him agree.

Lennix had already seen Mavis gush over the entire countryside. He couldn't really go anywhere since Mavis already dragged him around the entire country. It was at least a little amusing to him and adorable all the same.

"Mavis?" Lennix asked as he clutched the box in his hands. He hid it within the folds of his robe.

The phone he had bought for Mavis was new. It had taken him a day or so to try and transfer some of his families' riches into cash. Lennix didn't know what was funnier, however. Mavis not knowing what a smartphone… Ok. that could at least be excused given her upbringing.

"Yeah?" Mavis asked while she flew over. "You ok, Len?" She questioned as Lennix nodded. She watched as Lennix slowly removed the phone case from his cloak.

Lennix watched as Mavis looked over the device in his hand. She questioned what the small machine was.

"It's a phone," Lennix stated to Mavis who raised an eyebrow at this. "I'm serious, Mavis. You are holding a phone," Lennix said to Mavis as she blinked.

"Why is it so shiny and fancy?" Mavis asked Lennix who hummed.

Lennix was VERY glad the fancy mask on his face hid his expression. Lennix knew Mavis would have slugged him in the arm if he had shown his smirk at the idea.

"Human Magic," Lennix stated to his girlfriend. "That runs on human magic called the internet and WI-FI." Lennix added while he watched Mavis start to mess with the phone.

He already saw that coming back to chomp him in the rear when Dracula heard. Lennix didn't want to try and explain the tidbits of information he had on the phone. Mavis would be more confused on the phone.

To be fair? Lennix has already explained a phone to Dracula since the man would be confused on it as well. Lennix found it funny two vampires over 100 years old both didn't understand modern technology.

"THEY HAVE MUSIC IN THEM!?" Mavis questioned to Lennix. He chuckled with sheer amusement and nodded.

This was sheer amusement. Lennix could never stop agreeing with himself on how sweetly heart melting she was. Lennix couldn't stop himself from just wanting to see Mavis smile more.

That might have had something to do with how rare Vampires seemed to be on Europe. Lennix's family on his mother's side was all magicians. That was part of the reason he had magic. The other part? Lennox was a vampire, his species used to exist all over the country. Mavis and Dracula were the only vampires he had met since he left the castle.

Lennix wanted to know what happened with the vampires. His people hadn't just vanished into thin air.

Lennix was pulled from his thoughts on why he hadn't encountered more vampires… By noise, a noise that made him turn to Mavis.

She was busy using the camera of the phone. Lennix only chuckled at his girlfriend sweetly. He had no idea how she had managed to get the phone to work.

"You want to go back to the store?" Lennix questioned, he found such moments sweet, but the sun would be up soon.

Lennix hated how several hours just seemed to shrivel up and die. They were outside the moment the sun started to set over the horizon. Mavis always wanted to maximize the time they spent out.

"Yeah. You mind if I show this to my dad?" Mavis asked Lennix. He chuckled and nodded before waving his hands around.

"Sure, I'll go and relax for tomorrow… Ugh, my spine is killing me. I hate hunching over to try and deal with hiding stuff like this." Lennix hissed out, he was far more annoyed at his date with Mavis coming to a close.

"Ok, ok. Love you, my handsome nightmare." Mavis stated before she lifted Lennix's mask.

She placed a kiss on his lips which made the vampire blush, she giggled. Lennix watched Mavis transform into a bat and fly off.

He smiled and blushed once more at the kiss before transforming into a swarm of bats. Lennix departed for his family castle, he planned on inviting Mavis over soon. She deserved to meet his family since he had met hers'.

"Seriously, what vampire hunches like that? I feel like I was about to throw my spine out," Lennix muttered to himself as he flew home.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that Lennix and Mavis will have a few more dates before marrying and going back to the second movie. Next chapter will be in 2-6 weeks and show Lennix and Mavis on another date and set up Mavis and Dracula meeting Lennix's mother. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
