We are in New York baby! I can not believe we are finally here! I see so many things I have always wanted to! So many places I want to visit and be in!
It all looks so exciting! Oh look there are street performers! One of them is Spider-Man, one is Mickey, and there is a Glenda! I want to go see Glenda!
I take of giggling away from the group. I get to see Glinda the good witch! This is a dream come true for me! I feel my legs getting wobbly as little Rachel starts taking over.
I stop a little bit away and look in awe. This is my dream meeting. I have to do something for this. She was singing when we came past earlier!

"I came from practice to see who would know the song" Glinda walks over with a smile "You have a voice! I am sure you will make it to Broadway before too long!"
"Really?" She nods and I get giddy "Thank you!"
"No problem dear" A phone beeps and she sighs "I have to go back to practice! May I get picture with you? Have something when I see you later"
I nod and get a picture with her. She even takes on with the club members. She is soon off and so are we. We need to go and get our hotel room.
I stop though when I see someone standing with some kids.
"Hello loser" I tense as Mercedes smirks at me "See your bruises have healed some"
"You are not supposed to interact Mercedes" I look at Mrs. Jones as she walks over "I am sorry about what my daughter Rachel"
"I said what I said!" Mercedes sneers at me "You are useless!"
"You will have your spot lost Mercedes!" That shuts her up quickly but does not stop the glare I get "I hope we can all be civil for the competition"
"Agreed" Mom walks to the front of us "Still would like that apology though"
"Apology?" Mercedes eyes go wide and she cringes backwards "Why would an apology be needed?"
"I thought she was not supposed to interact cause of what happened?" Mrs. Jones seems honestly confused right now "Oh god you do not know"
"She beat me up with Finn" I lean into Santana who is standing beside me "Her and Finn attacked me backstage while I was alone"
"You did what?!" Mrs. Jones yelling makes them all jump "You said Figgins caught you doing drugs! Your punishment was so much lighter!"
"Oops?" Mrs. Jones growls and Mercedes slinks back into the club members behind her "Well i think we should go"
"Who else knows?!" Most of the club members try to look innocent and Mrs. Jones sighs "We will talk about this in the hotel as you write a sincere apology! As for me I am sorry about what my daughter did to you Rachel"
"Thanks Mrs. Jones" She nods and yells at her team to go "I am tired"
"We have a week here" Santana rubs my shoulder "How about I take you to the hotel? We can take Beth and get the keys while the others get food"
"Ok" I look over at my mom "That ok?"
"Perfect love" I smile and Santana gets handed Beth "Take care of them"
Santana nods and we head to the hotel. Beth is bottle fed and I get breast fed. We are both laid in a pack in play. I suck on my pacifier and close my eyes.
New York has been nice so far besides Mercedes appearing. I can only hope tomorrow is just as good.
-Time skip-Shelby pov-
I come in with our group of people. I smile as I see the two still asleep. I walk in more and chuckle when I see Santana out as well.
We get the Chinese takeout set up and I nudge Santana awake. She sleepily joins us as we eat. We talk about what comes tomorrow and club plans.
Maribel ends up coming over to babysit while we go down to the pool. New York has been a dream for Rachel and I will make it all worth it for her. This trip for nationals will be memorable.
I have to make this week the best damn week of her life. It will take some planning and long cons but I think it will work. I wonder if Glinda can get us tickets...I should find her.
After a while we leave the pool and go to our rooms. We play with little Rachel and Beth when we get back up. This first day has been pretty nice. I just hope Mercedes and any bad friends of hers stay away while we are here.
I want a nice and clean win tomorrow. If they take the war to us I am not afraid to retaliate. I will not let bullies get the best of us. Not if I can help it at least.
But I guess we have to wait till tomorrow to figure out what will happen.
