Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prince of the Vampires. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Hotel Transylvania, Sony and a few others.

(Europe.)

Mavis looked at the elder vampire. Unlike her father? Lennix's mother looked like a living corpse. She was surrounded by two goblin like creatures who chanted something, their hands cloaked in black energy which caused Lennix to sigh.

"Mom, this is Mavis." Lennix added to which his mother looked at her a second later, unsure what to say and do at the end of the day. "She's, my girlfriend." Lennix stated, crossing his arms as he started to think of what she'd say.

There was plenty to consider. His mother looked at Mavis who looked at Lennix who was conflicted. Even with the best magic in the world? This woman would be passing on soon enough. Lennix was going to question what happens next.

"How come you never told me about this pretty bat?" His mother asked, managing a small wrinkled movement of her lips as the three vampires looked at each other.

"Well, you see…" Lennix started to say, scratching at his neck as he looked up at the ceiling once more. "There's plenty to think about when it comes down to it. Gom ruined the surprise at the end of the day." Lennix stated, looking at his general and shaking his head to himself.

Lennix was quite hopeful as to what this was. He knew for a fact that things were going to boil over slowly. Lennix knew that this meeting was hopeful.

"And yet you haven't trusted her at the end of the day…" Lennix heard from his mother. "I think I have to remind you that there's things we talk about at the end of the day. And People like your new lady friend are people we discuss with everyone in this family." Lennix's mother stated as Lennix sighed while turning to Mavis.

"Mom? The last time I introduced you to someone like this? You almost freaked out." Lennix put in, rolling his eyes at the woman who raised him. "And I'm over 100, I'm not going to date someone crazy or something. You know me better than that." Lennix added, waving his hands towards the woman in question.

His mother looked at him with a raised eyebrow, knowing what he'd say next if given the chance. Lennix was still her son, even if he was a full vampire and she wasn't. There were still various things to discuss. This would not really change much of anything.

"Lennix? I thought I taught you better?" His mother said before breaking out into a wide smile as she held up her arms for a hug. "I might almost be dust and bones but I know my son isn't going to just let me sit here collecting dust." His mother said as Lennix rolled his eyes and slowly stepped forward, wrapping his arms around his mother.

"So, you're not mad me and your son are dating?" Mavis questioned which garnered a raised eyebrow from the vampire. "I expected you to be mad. My dad was when he found out I'm dating someone, especially a prince." Mavis added while Lennix hummed.

"Well, I'm more annoyed my son wouldn't trust his mother not to do something crazy." Lennix's mother added as Lennix rolled his eyes. "No, my son is old enough to decide to do what he wants to do. I'm sure though I'll be hearing EVERYTHING about you before something bad happens, won't be out of this blasted bed anytime soon. Gom is busy babying me like I did with Lennix when he was a firstborn." Lennix's mother added as her son sighed and shook his head, bringing a hand to his temples.

"Thanks for making me look weird in front of Mavis, mom." Lennix muttered and watched his mother smirk at him. "Don't say I'm the weird one, you used to watch old movies up and down until you passed out. I had NO idea why you used to do them if you hated them." Lennix stated while he thought about how best this could go.

"You know I'm not letting that go, are you? "Mavis started to say, giggling in between words at the moment.

Lennix said nothing, simply nodding and bringing a hand to his temples, sighing as he did so. This day was going to be much more awkward when it came down to it. Lennix sighed as he started to think about how think about this would go.

Still? Both knew this was going to be awkward, still? This would be far more curious as both thought about the future. Lennix would have to think about the future.

"This is going to be weird, isn't it?" Lennix asked, leaning on the wall as he did so. "I'm just curious what's going to happen next." Lennix asked, crossing his arms and shook his head once more, rubbing at his temples.

He shook his head, putting his head in his hands.
