Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prince of the Vampires. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Hotel Transylvania, Sony, and a few others.

(Europe.)

Lennix didn't want to bother the others with the past. He still felt more uneasy around his mother and the rest of his family. It honestly felt far too odd for him when he considered it. The more he did consider it? the more he felt outside of his element. He sighed before rolling his eyes to himself.

Mavis either seemed to either notice it or was far too weirded out on it at the moment to say something. He didn't want to bother his girlfriend. She was honestly too uneasy about certain problems to properly accept it he guessed. He didn't want to bother something with his family business anyway.

Yet he didn't seem to let it bother him. He was honestly too annoyed by the mention of his father when it came down to it. He felt too annoyed when he considered it. He had far too little on his plate to do anything about the monster. He was not a rather interested vampire when it came to ruling if he was honest.

"Somehow I'm guessing that you're annoyed by what your mom said about your dad," Mavis stated before she crossed her arms across her chest as she raised an eyebrow towards her boyfriend.

He raised his arms in a shrug with interest as he seemed to be rather bored as to what to do next.

"He's not a part of life I honestly seem to want to relive," Lennix said while he sighed to himself, he rolled his eyes to himself. "There's so much to do at the moment and he coming here when it comes down to it? I'd honestly lose it if I saw him again and I had to deal with it. I'm also terrified when it comes to what to do next. Too much on the lines to it." Lennix said while he pondered to himself what to do next.

Lennix was interested in what to do next. He was a lot more scared of the future at the moment. He was well aware of what was to be expected of him and his title. If she became a far more important part of his life? She'd end up being part of that place when he considered it. Lennix wasn't aware if she wished to be in that piece of his life and he wasn't one to push people into something they didn't want to be part of.

"It's not exactly something I'm ready for when it comes to it," Lennix said while he started to pace in place and sighed to himself. "There's a lot of expatiations on me at the moment. I'm honestly too confused about what they want when I consider it, I'm not the one who will lead people to glory. Least? Not that way if I'm honest with myself." Lennix stated before he seemed to question what to do next.

It had become when it came down to it as of now. She had seemed to question what to do next. Lennix honestly seemed to ponder what happened next at the second when it came down to it. There was a lot on her plate at the second when he considered it. Still? Mavis was honestly prepared for more at the time. She had been a warrior at one point or another it seemed.

He leaned on the wall and seemed to consider her at the second. The sooner this had become rather odd at the moment. An odd way to float down the road at the second.

"Today is going to be weird when it comes down to it, isn't it?" Lennix questioned as he seemed to ponder what to point out to Mavis. "There's a lot more I'm going to need to deal with. Oy, I hate tonight or such." Lennix said while he ran his hands across his temples with annoyance.

"Maybe, we don't know." He heard as he seemed to look over his shoulder. "Still weirded out by this type of thing? It isn't like we're going to be in charge of everything, you know." Mavis stated before Lennix sighed and rolled his eyes.

"There are more rules when that day comes" Lennix questioned while he tapped his fingers on his arms. "I don't know what they want. I don't know what the council will want, and I don't think I'm going to be part of that when that day does come to it." Lennix stated as of the second.

Lennix stated before she seemed to question what when he considered it. She stared at her boyfriend when it came down to it. There was a lot more interest. She tapped her fingers on her arms as if they'd shatter with too much force. It had become a lot harder at the second for them to seem to handle the problems.

Lennix seemed as if he was about to laugh before remembering that she was usually this way. She smiled at the moment. She was a very silly vampire. A very adorable woman whom he loved more than anything. He smiled at her at the time as if he had questioned the second. Lennix became a time before he seemed to tap on his arms. Lennix was honestly prepared for when this happened.

Still? Her smile made his heart melt when he considered it now. She leaned into her boyfriend before she brushed off her shirt and smiled once more. It became more obvious that he was simply scared and a bit shy when she considered it at the time.

He looked around before he seemed to sigh. Not for the fact that he was going to break inside. He honestly didn't seem to have a clue at the time. Lennix didn't wish to be part of anything, at least not the console. This had become a bigger deal than it was possible to be when it came down to it. The fact he'd be in charge of an entire council? No, that was the last thing he wanted, the last thing he wanted was to be king on account of his father just not being present.

The man hadn't the ability to even care for this it seemed. If he had any desire to atone for this? He'd be doing it. He wished to be done when this was all done and over with. It had become far more than he could bear.

"Ugh. I'm a prince, not a king. Getting this type of power when it comes down to it? I feel stained like I'm annoyed. Only dad could ruin this for me by making me get it in the stupidest way possible." Lennix stated before he rolled his head before he rolled his eyes himself.

There was a nudge on his arm before he gazed at Mavis. He was reminded that he still had plenty to do as he gazed around the place.

"Sorry, it's just me and my dad have a lot of bad history. I don't like when he's mentioned like this." Lennix said while bringing a hand through his temples. "Anytime I'm reminded that he's here? I know he just… Left, never told us why never cared. Nothing. The man doesn't care about us, only about what he could be given from us. Didn't care about my mom when she got sick." Lennix said as he looked around before rubbing his helmeted head.

"He's that bad when it came to this?" Mavis questioned before she watched as Lennix nodded and straightened back up.

"Always. He doesn't know how to care about people. He doesn't know how to consider people rather than anything as a means to help himself." Lennix said before he leaned on the wall once more. "There are more people in this world than him. He doesn't care about them. Do you think your dad is bad? He just doesn't consider human lives worth anything. If I see him again? I'm stopping him… For good." Lennix stated before he leaned backward.

"I doubt he's as bad as that," Mavis said as Lennix pulled his helmet from the top of his head. "Nobody is that bad. My Aunt Lydia used to hate humans. I doubt she does anymore, then again? We haven't exactly seen my aunt in the last 4 years so I don't know what she's been through at the moment. Don't know what will happen." Mavis stated before she looked around with interest.

Lennix could only ponder why she was nicer than even he had been. Maybe it was because she seemed to know something about him or because she had a better heart than he.

He couldn't forgive what the old man did. Vampire or not, he treated family as nothing more than a means to an end, Dracula didn't. He was honestly curious about what was to come if the monster came back to this town. Lennix didn't know what he'd do if he found them. He planned to make sure that there was nothing but distance between him and this person.

He wasn't family to him at the time. he couldn't blame him, not for not believing that this person wasn't entirely a piece of trash. He'd handle them, curious as to what was to come, curious as to the pain that was coming

"I'm going to hate the new job; I swear to god." Mavis heard before Lennix stayed silent, only rolling her head once more at her boyfriend. "What? It is an annoying job. This is going to be more annoying than anything. I'm not fit to be in charge yet. Secondly? Isn't like I can handle being on the council of vampires this entire time." Lennix said as he rubbed at his temples, glancing around at his surroundings.

"So, you're going to complain the entire time about being part of the Vampire government, hmm?" Mavis questioned before he seemed to tilt his head.

"Your evil," Lennix said as she smiled at her. "Maybe, I will, don't know yet. It all comes down to what happens next. This could be a lot worse than what. I don't know what will happen and I don't care much at the moment, I do know that this going to be a lot odder than what we expect. Then again? I met someone like you, so it isn't all bad when it comes down to it." Lennix said as she rolled her eyes at this.

"That was so cheesy and you know it. That was SO cheesy, Len." Mavis stated to which Lennix shrugged and raised his shoulders. "Still? If your dad is that bad? I'll tell dad. It can't be any worse than his job on the council. I'm sure dad will help you with the council work if you're struggling with it that badly. I do doubt he'd not help you at the second, there's a lot of things my dad does, but not helping monsters isn't one of them." Mavis said before she leaned on Lennix once more.

The two vampires shared a laugh as they started to look around the castle. This was going to end sooner or later. Lennix planned to be ready for when that came next when it came down to it. Ready for it and waiting. He just didn't know what was going to be the next move at the moment or what was to come. This was going to need more as of now.
