We are now at a maximum security prison as the gates open and go through other security checkpoints for an officer inspecting their most dangerous prisoner: The Juggernaut. The officer pushed a button to drain the water surrounding Juggernaut, intending to set him free
"Wake up Cain. It's time you had a long-overdue family reunion with your brother: Charles Xavier." Mystique said as she revealed her true identity and Juggernaut woke up at the mention of his brother's name.
Meanwhile at a camp outside...
"You will not be making wallets, necktie racks, or paper weights. You will not be engaging in potato sack races, water balloon tosses, or pony rides. You'll be taking 20-mile hikes, rappelling 200-foot cliffs and crossing treacherous water with no more than a rope and all the courage you can muster. Do you read me?" The drill instructor said
"Yes, Sargent Hawk, sir!" Everyone at the camp shouted
"I said, do you read me?" Sargent Hawk asked
"Yes, Sargent Hawk, sir!" Everyone at the camp once again shouted
"Welcome to Iron Back survival camp, a name young people will soon forget. Here, we have a young man, Scott Sumner." Sargent Hawk said as he greeted everyone
"Summers." Scott said quickly to correct him
"Whose scholastic achievements at Bayville High have earned the rank of group leader. You will be following his lead. Dismissed!" Sargent Hawk said dismissing everyone
"Oh, I'm going to be dead in, like, two days." Kitty complained
"What about me? I'm a city kid." Evan said joining in, as he was also sent to the camp without the X-Men noticing at first
"What did we ever do to deserve this?" Kurt asked
"I'm going AWOL. Anyone know how to hot-wire a bus?" Rogue said
"Whoa, whoa! Slow down. Come on, we were not washing out in front of the whole school. Besides, Professor X endorses this place." Scott explained
"Yeah. At least he gave us a choice. Survival training here with Wolverine." Jean said
"Still can't believe that, like, Markus would do that with Mr. Logan instead of here and Ella is in a Christian camp." Kitty said
"I'd still say he wanted to get away from his sister and Ella wanted out of the house." Evan whispered to Kitty's ear
"Same choice." Rogue scoffed
"Come on, we can do this." Scott said as everyone grabbed their bags and went into the camp along with unfortunately the Brotherhood tagged along
Back with Mystique...
"Cellular paralysis bio fluid. Amazing. It actually stopped the unstoppable... It'll take a few moments before you can move." Mystique said as she released Cain from his shackles.
"Then I'll sneak you out of this horrible prison where-- Now, who was it that locked you away? Oh, that's right, your brother: Charles Xavier." Cain growled at the mention of his brother's name "Sore subject?"
"Who... are you?" Cain finally spoke
"A deal maker... I arrange your early release, and you will deliver me one item in your brother's possession ... his mutant detection system known as Cerebro." Mystique explained as she gave Cain his helmet
"And my brother?" Cain asked
"I leave his fate in your hands." Mystique chuckled, "You are after all, the Unstoppable Juggernaut." She said before trying to leave with the Juggernaut pushing her out of the way
"I am The Juggernaut and NOTHING can stop me!" Juggernaut shouted as he created destruction to escape
"Charming." Mystique sarcastically said
Back at Iron Back camp...
Most of the team and the Brotherhood climbed up the ropes while Blob was the only one who can't as he tried for himself
"I ain't built for this kind of stuff." Fred said as he stood off and shook the dust off of him
"You swim?" Lance asked before he used his powers to push Scott into the river but as he floated away Scott used his powers to push Lance into the river also before finishing the race between them
"That loser Scott should have lost, and you know it." Fred said to the group who were cheering for Scott
"Yeah, just because he slipped and took a bath, the guy went ballistic." Pietro said before the two groups started to yell at each other which caught Sargent Hawks attention and made them do push ups as punishment and explained that whoever's got the flag from the top of the mountain for their team wins
Back at the X-Mansion...
"Is Cerebro picking up new songs?" Logan asked as Markus was getting ready for his training
"No, just our students in Iron Back. They've been active." Professor explained
"Did you tell them they don't get to use their powers?" Logan asked
"No, I was hoping that they'd make that decision themselves." Professor replied
"Well, I still say that you should have let me handle their training like with Markus back there." Logan replied
"I gave them that choice, Logan. They felt they had a better chance of surviving the camp." Xavier replied before an alarm blared which detected a new mutant
"Discovery, enhanced signature. Identity confirmed and matched to archive file." Cerebro computer said
"Archive file?" Professor asked before Cerebro showed an image of Cain
"Cain Marko?" Logan asked
"My half-brother. Somehow he's escaped." Xaiver replied
"What's the enhanced signature?" Logan asked
"He was born with no powers, after I used my abilities for the first time he grew jealous of me, so he sought power through mysticism." Xavier explained
"What kind of power does he have?" Logan asked
"He's a Juggernaut, invincible." Xaiver plainly said
Back with the team...
"Come on! Pick up the pace! We're almost to the base." Scott shouted as the other caught up
"Hey Kurt could you, like, make yourself useful by teleporting us to the top?" Kitty inquired
"This trip is of the power-free variety, I'm told." Kurt replied
As the team are running towards the base, the Brotherhood are now climbing the face of the mountain, meanwhile Storm is in the X-Jet flying to the mountains
"Engage autopilot." Storm said as she went on to the top of the X-Jet to create fog to stop the media from discovering Juggernaut and expose the mutants
"Very good Storm, keep it up." Xavier telepathically said "Since no one can see Cain, they won't foolishly try and capture him."
"What's going on Professor?" Markus asked as he went up to the two adults
"Nothing much I hope, Markus I need you to wait near the hanger just in case if we need help" Xavier said to Markus
"Alright, though I don't think that's a good idea but I'll wait until you're ready." Markus said as he departed to the hanger
"He's a good kid, knows when to listen and all that." Logan said as they entered the elevator
"He does try his best for sure but I can't let him face Cain, if he does he might get killed." Xavier replied
Back with the Brotherhood...
"An abandoned mine?" Lance said
"Toads checking out a shortcut." Blob explained
"Hey there's like a stairway that goes straight to the top." Toad explained as he met up with the others
"Now you're talking, that flag is ours." Lance said in satisfaction as the Brotherhood entered the abandoned mine
"See the flag?" Kurt asked as he and Scott arrived at the bottom of the mountain
"Pop up top and see if it's still there." Scott said
"What about Jean?" Kurt asked as he could see the others catch up
"Hey, do you wanna win or not?" Scott replied
"Alright, but if she finds out it's your hide." Kurt said as he teleported to the top of the mountain and back.
"it's there, we are very close." As they set up to climb the mountain, the Brotherhood are close to the stairwell but the mine was unstable as rocks fell towards the troubled teens and it could be felt on the outside as Jean telekinetically caught Evan who was falling
"Hey over here, I think I found them." Rogue said as she looked down a huge hole in which the Brotherhood were caved in
"Come on, don't leave us down here." Toad pleasingly said
"We won't." Scott said
Back in the Danger Room...
"Cain's failed relationship with our father, and his resentment of me fueled his anger. But after he was empowered, that anger became destructive and dangerous. He had to be locked away, I had no choice." Xavier explained on how Cain came to hate his stepbrother as the alarms went off
"He's here." Logan replied as he got his mask on and went to stop Juggernaut from reaching the doors
"You can't stop the Juggernaut!" Cain shouted
"Forgive me for trying bub." Logan said as they fought to a stalemate into the Mansion and into the Danger Room and with much damage sustained from the Juggernauts superior blows, Logan passed out
"You lumbering imbecile. What did you do? Sit on Cerebro?" Mystique said "You smashed it. What happened to our deal?
"I don't make deals." Juggernaut said as he pushed Mystique away from him and said to Xavier "Charles, aren't you gonna welcome me home?"
Meanwhile back at the mountain...
Scott roped down the abandoned mine to rescue his rivals, but as they went up and out of the mine Pietro saw the flag and sped up the the top but Kurt teleported there first as they both grabbed the flag but the X-Jet arrived
"X-Men, Professor X is in danger, so is Mystique." Storm said through the planes speakers
"Up to it?" Scott asked Lance
"Let's go." Lance replied as everyone left to the Mansion but dropped off a picture of everyone at the top of the mountain with the flag as promised to Sgt. Hawk
Back at the Danger Room...
"Cain you don't have to do this, this house can become a new beginning." Xavier said, pleading his stepbrother to make peace with him
"This will be a new beginning for me, after I squish you, blue lady and this little bug into oblivion." Juggernaut said as he got Mystique and Xaiver cornered
"I don't think so big guys." Cyclops said as the cavalry arrived
"X-Men, go for the latches, so I can weaken his mind." Xavier said as the Brotherhood and the X-Men worked together with Nightcrawler, Quicksilver, Rogue and Kitty unlatched his helmet and Xaiver attacked Cains mind but to no avail as he knocked away the teenaged X-Men and Brotherhood
"No, how is this possible?" Xavier said in disbelief
"Looks like I can resist your power, Charles, say goodbye." Cain said
"I don't think so, big boy." Markus as he landed on the ground with Ella at his side
"You do have persistent bugs in your Mansion. I'll give you that, but it ends now." Cain monologues before charging towards Markus and Ella but they both dodged by Ella's dodging and was quickly swatted away as Markus tried to reach for an open electrical wire on the ceiling but Juggernaut pulled on his legs, which resulted in him crashing hard and getting a death gripping bear hug on his back
"GET OFF OF HIM!" Jean said as she telekinetically separated Juggernaut from Markus before Ella started to distract him
"What should we do?" Jean asked as she let out of telekinetic blasts
"We need that wire to touch his head! It'll slip him into an unconscious state!" Markus shouted before Juggernaut punched him so hard he made a dent from his impact on the wall, then as Jean threw telekinetic blasts on Juggernaut before Scott and Kitty worked together to get the electrical wire and let it touch Cains skin, electrocuting him and render him unconscious
"Well that did the trick." Scott commented as the others were starting to wake
"Come on boys, let's get out of here before you're invited to a slumber party." Mystique said while she left
"Hey, Summers. For a group leader you're only half bad." Lance said as he complimented him
"Well, maybe next time you can call the shots." Scott replied
"Trust me, there won't be a next time." Lance said as the Brotherhood left
"How is Markus?" Xavier asked
"He's fine, though some bones are out of place. Your Welcome." Jean said as she popped his back but realized that Ella was harmed and ran towards her
"You alright?" Markus asked as he helped Ella up on her feet
"Yeah I'm ok." Ella replied after she leaned on Markus for support
"Did I miss something?" Logan said as he woke up
"Well Juggernaut has been defeated and we need to transport him back ." Xavier said
"Too bad I missed it, I would've liked to see it." Logan replied as he got back up
