We now see the gates of the X-Mansion open up as it allowed Scott and Jean who were in Scott's own car to enter and parked in front of the steps to the Mansion
"Oh yeah! Let the weekend begin!" Scott said excitedly as he slid on top of the car's hood "YAHOO!"
"Wait, you're forgetting your homework!" Jean said, trying to remind Scott but it was too late.
"Make that ignoring it." Jean retorted as she exited out of the car and walked before Toad came out of nowhere with a stick and swept her off her feet, falling to the ground
"Want some of this?" Toad taunted as he tried to strike Jean with his stick but Jean used her telekinetic power to stop it
"Toad, what are you trying to prove?" Jean asked
"That I'm a champ, not a chump. And guess what? We all gotta prove it." Toad continued on as he tried to knock Jean with his stick but failed miserably multiple times
"Would you knock it off?" Jean said as she used her powers to throw Toad into a well, then a huge silvery orb landed, grabbed Jean and flew away
"No. It wasn't over, I still could have won. It should've been me!" Toad said in disappointment and frustration
Meanwhile in Hawaii...
We see a blond boy on a surfing board laying down before a shark poked the board and dragged the boy underwater until he unknowingly blasted the shark with energy beams which made the shark swim away.
"Wha- what is happening to me?" The blonde boy spoke as his hands still glowed after he swam back to the beach, confused on what is going on with his body
Back at the X-Mansion...
"So the new and improved Cerebro is online." Logan said as he entered the new room for Cerebro
"Yes, it has pinpointed the emergence of a new mutant." Xavier explained
"What's the emergency then?" Logan asked
"His name is Alex Masters, formerly Summers, Scott's brother." Xavier replied
"Have Scott meet us here, we are going to Hawaii... Oh and Logan, let me tell him the news." He continued as Markus eavesdropped on them and went to find the others of the Professors and Logan's plan to Hawaii
"Better tell the others that we are going on vacation." Markus quietly said as he opted to tell the others without making any noise as to alert the adults
Back with Alex...
Alex is now on the hot sands of the beach, on his knees, feeling a bit distraught on what has happened
"Aw man, what's going on with me?" Alex said as he had his hands cover his face when a shadowy person appeared
"I know the kind of pain you're feeling, Alex. I once had it myself." The shadowy person said
"Where did you come from?" Alex said in a surprised tone as he flinched a little away from the figure
"I've arrived to see you... I can give you relief and answers... You never have to feel pain again as I have come to offer you sanctuary." Magneto explained his motives as he felt sympathy for the boy and extended his hand of friendship in which Alex accepted
At the X-Mansions hanger...
We now see Xavier break the news to Scott about Alex and how his mutant powers have now developed and where he has been
"What? My little brother? Hes... hes..." Scott said stunned at the news
"Alive, Scott. Alex is alive." Xaiver confirmingly said
"Where has he been?" Scott asked
"Well as far as I can determine, he's living with his foster parents in Hawaii." Xaiver replied
"Then let's go!" Scott said as he went into the X-Jet along with the Professor and Wolverine, who was piloting the X-jet, leaving the rest behind as they tried to catch up to the small group
"Here I am, ready for the cause." Kurt said as the others just arrived in the hanger with no X-Jet in sight
"We got totally ditched." Rogue said
"Can't blame Scott, meeting a brother he hasn't seen in, like, ten years? Kitty said
"I would have done the same with my own sister." Ella said
"I say this is the perfect excuse for a vacation, anyone up for it?" Markus proposed as he thought out a plan to follow them
"That's a good idea, I'll get the Jeep ready." Kurt said
"And I guess the rest of us will change to our beach attire." Markus said as the others left to get ready to leave
Then the teens got onto the Jeep waiting for Markus
"Hurry it up Markus, before Ororo or your sister dock our plans!" Ella said as Markus hustled up to the car before nearly accidentally hitting a cat
"I couldn't find Jean so I left a note." Markus said
"Change of plans, they are on the move." Mystique said as she transformed from the cat to her form as the Jeep left out of the Mansions grounds
Meanwhile in Hawaii...
The X-Jet has now landed on the sandy beaches of Hawaii with a clear sky in the background
"Anyone seen Alex?" Scott asked
"No, and the tides coming in, this cove will be underwater in an hour." Logan retorted
"Take a closer look." Xaiver said as Scott left the X-Jet leaving the Professor in and encountered Alex's surfboard with Logan
"Think it's his?" Scott asked
"Maybe." Logan replied as he noticed another set of footprints
"Looks like company dropped in on him... literally and the same way." Logan said as he observed the other set of footprints
"What company?" Scott asked
"Magneto." Logan growled as he recognized his stench
"Who? Logan, who's Magneto?" Scott asked
"I got a feeling that you're about to find out soon enough." Logan replied with some anticipation of what's to come
Back in the X-Jet, Professor Xaiver is attempting to contact Magneto via telepathy but to no avail
"I know you're here Magneto. I can sense it... show yourself." Xaiver said telepathically as suddenly, the X-Jet flew put on it's own with Wolverine holding on for dear life, leaving Scott alone to meet Alex as he arrived on the beach on top of a boulder
"Alex? Is that really you?" Scott asked to see if the boy was really his little brother
"Scott? Scott!" Alex said as he jumped off a boulder and finally embraced with his long-lost older brother
"Look at you, what happened to that scrawny little guy I used to pick on?" Scott complimented
"Oh, that reminds me... I owed you that for ten years." Alex said as he punched Scott's shoulder
"And you still hit like a girl." Scott said teasingly
"I still can't believe it, when Magneto told me you were showing up, I-" Alex said before he was interrupted by Scott
"Whoa, wait, Magneto? Are you with him? That guy just kidnapped my professor!" Scott said
"No, no, no you got it wrong. He told me all about it, he just wants to show him something. Come here for a sec. He also told me that you're a mutant as well as I am." Alex tried to explain then led Scott to a large orb
"Wait, THAT thing is taking us to Magneto?" Scott asked
"Yeah, come on. It's kind of scary, you know? But it's exciting." Alex said
"This is strange... but I'll go just to keep an eye on you and the Professor." Scott finally relented as they both entered the orb to an unknown location
Back on the X-Jet...
We are now back with Professor X and Wolverine, as Logan was still holding on for dear life using his claws
"Charles, please relax, old friend. I'm in control now." Magneto said in Xaviers mind
"What's this about, Magneto?" Xaiver said, ready for whatever Magneto threw at him
"I am simply taking steps to ensure our survival and exposing the one lie you have kept from one of your students." Magneto said as a figure of him appeared on the mirror
"Ah Wolverine, the man with adamantium bones, you must realize that I am the master of magnetism and adamantium IS a metal." He continued as Logan fell onto the ocean and swam back to the island
"Well now what am I gonna do?" Logan said as he tried to dry himself off
"The least you can do is DIE!" Sabretooth roared as he appeared out of nowhere and ambushed Wolverine
"YOU!" Logan shouted as they started their battle on the beach
Back in the X-Mansion...
"Hello? Anyone here? Professor? Markus?... Well you're not quite the cat I was hoping to see." Storm asked as she came back from an errand but could find nobody home before a cat appeared and transformed into Mystique and started to fight
"Stand down, wind rider and this will go easy." Mystique said
"Never to the likes of you." Storm replied as she emitted an electrical shock to Mystique
"I don't even know why he still wants me to prove myself." Mystique retorted
"What are you talking about?" Storm asked
"Enough talking, besides you'll see for yourself soon enough." Mystique said as she continued on fighting with the weather-controlling mutant with her training in hand-to-hand combat and agility to dodge Storms elemental attacks
Back with the teens...
"Oh man, you feel that ocean breeze? I've been having a meltdown here, all covered up like this, I hate it." Rogue said
"Yeah? You should be blue and furry, its murder." Kurt replied before they were bumped in the back by another jeep holding most of the other Brotherhood members
"What's going on?!" Kurt asked
"It's Lance and the other stooges!" Markus replied before they bumped the others off onto an off-road and seeing Blob in front of them before they crashed into him but Markus flew off of the car unto the jungle
"MARKUS!" The others shouted, worried that their companion was lost before they started fighting the Brotherhood
"Let's go big boy!" Rogue shouted as she and Kitty teamed up to fight Fred with Pietro and Lance, along with Toad fought Kurt, as Ella tries to search for Markus
Back with the X-Jet...
The X-Jet finally landed on an orbiting asteroid with Magneto waiting for his old friend
"Welcome Charles to my sanctuary... Asteroid M." Magneto proudly proclaimed
"What is this all about?" Charles asked
"A rebirth. Your precious X-Men face a trial by fire, as do my own... recruits. Mutant pitted against mutant. One shall stand, one shall fall... Only those who emerge victorious shall take their place here on Asteroid M. Once gathered here in this place of solitude, they can realize their abilities, to be safe here from the fiery judgement of the world." Magneto explained as he brought up holograms of the fights between Mystique and Storm, Wolverine and Sabretooth and X-Men and Brotherhood while also justifying his actions of a "forced" sanctuary
"Magnus, don't do this. We can introduce ourselves to the outside world as friends, not enemies." Charles said to hopefully change his former friends mind
"You are an idealist, Charles. I'm a realist. It's a dark future that rushes towards us, and we must face it prepared." Magneto replies as he leads the Professor inside Asteroid M as Storm and Rogue are forcefully taken unlike Pietro and Blob
"The gathering is almost complete. There is one person I'm particularly interested in..." Magneto commented as he referenced one of Xavier's most promising students
"You want Markus." Professor X correctly guessed
"You were always a fast learner, yes even though he is damaged... I can remake him and make him stronger again when he is at my side, besides... You've stunted his potential, with me he can be more." Magneto bodily claimed
"It also begs the lingering question: what happens to the others that won't come willingly to you?" Charles asked
"If necessary, sometimes salvation must be force-fed." Magneto replied as he showed Rogue, Jean, and Storm in stasis pods, unconscious but alive as the Professor looks on with horror
