Ghost Zone... Tuesday... 3:09
Danny was reading the book Clockwork had given him, it's almost been two months since he died, but he remembered what Ember said, forgot about your life. Star over this is the afterlife.
Danny had finished three books so far, he was now on the fourth one when he felt his watch buzz. Danny placed the book down and looked at it to see it was Clockwork summoning him to the Clock Temple. Clockwork had finally finished his Reaper suit for when he travels to the human world, it was a black suit that had a Diamond shaped glass window door on the front that showed off his exposed chest, he had a gray belt with black pants and gray boots and gloves, he also had a cloak that was white on the inside and black on the outside. The hood was the opposite though. The hood was white on the outside and black on the inside. Clockwork had also made him a special watch that when he got a task the persons name, Location and time of death would appear, the older ghost could also summon him through the watch as well. He had a staff as well made from a special material that he could open his own portal to the human world with, it wasn't the same shape as most reapers staffs it was more straight but it was curved slightly to make it more fancy looking.
Danny read the message that Clockwork sent, "come to the clock temple, you don't have a task so wear your normal clothes" Danny sighed softly, glad he didn't have a task, getting out of his bed, he walked down to his front door, opening it he flew in the direction for the Clock Temple.
Ghost Zone... Clock Temple... 3:30
Walker was sitting on Clockwork's couch in the main room waiting for this so called amazing ghost, when Clockwork had told him about this ghost he thought he should meet him and give him an actual paying job.
The doors opened and he heard someone walking to the room. "Um, Clockwork you summoned me?" Walker turned his attention to, the ghost? No, he was a teenager. This was the new Reaper, he didn't even look 15 yet.
"This is the Reaper? He's younger than I thought," Walked said standing and walking over to the boy. "Hello Punk, I'm Walker. The Warden of the Ghost Zone," he spoke, "I'm Danny." He said quietly, "well Danny follow me, I have a job for you," Walker said walking out of the Clock Temple. Danny liked at his Mentor and Clockwork nodded to him before turning his attention back to a gear he was looking at.
Danny followed behind him. "So what's this job, because I already have-" Walker cut him off, "oh please punk, you are a secondary Grimm Reaper. You don't have to visit many people so you can have another job. Plus this job I will pay you for," he told him. That definitely caught the boy's attention.
They landed at a prison, two guards stood outside the prison, they opened the door as Walker walked towards the door, Danny looked at the prison as he followed. "Does the job have to do with prisoners?" He asked.
"Yes, it does, as you know lots of these guys escape, and since there is now a opened portal to the human world, a lot of the escapees are going to flee to there, I'm giving you the job of catching them and bring them back here. Your reward will be how ever much the wanted papers say," Walker explained opening his office door, walking inside and went to a cabinet and started to open it.
Danny looked around the room, "how will I know when they escape or who they are or even what core class they are classified as?" Danny questioned turning back around as Walker placed a huge book on the table. "This, is all the ghost here, Core Class, names and pictures. As for when they escape." He grabbed Danny's watch and pulled out a small chip before fixing it into the watch, "there, your watch should now tell you if a convint has escaped or not. Now do you want the job?"
"I'll take it!" Danny said shaking the Warden's hand. "Good. Now you better get back to your lair, and take the binder with you as well, you'll need it so you know how to take down the ghost who escapes. Bye punk," he said, and with that Danny nodded, grabbing the book he made his way back to his lair.
Once Danny got back he placed the binder down on his desk and looked at his Ghost Laptop, he sat down and opened it up, making a new file he started to file down all the ghost in the binder so whenever he needed it all he had to do was open his Laptop and search for the Ghost's name.
Yeah I know this chapter is short, it's kinda just a filler chapter so Danny actually has a reason for capturing the ghost and it's not just his obsession. I wanted him to be the cop or something of the Ghost Zone who tracks down escaped convects and brings them back to the Zone and to the prison.
Anyways the next chapter will have Danny's first task as the Grimm Reaper.
