Yuuko dialed a number.

" Hello! Yeah. I need your help to explain a tag fight to us. Yeah, I know you're busy but I need you to explain it to us. Please! We're forced into a fight. And? Who do you think is the best combination for this fight?" Yuuko ask

She turned on the loudspeaker.

" Well, if you insist. If it's you, then you and Takamina-san make a good combination. Tag fights are simple once you try it, it was the same for us too." A voice said

" But it was mostly me..." Another voice said

" So the person you were talking is Aichi, huh?" Takamina said

" Yuuko-san! You turned on the loudspeaker?!" Aichi exclaimed

" Yeah. You're the VF Circuit's winners so I thought it was best for you three to suggest the partners and to explain the rules." Yuuko said

" Well... Tag fights are all about communication, you can't look at your partner's cards and you can't say anything about your plan so it involves good communication through your eyes and we think you and Takamina make a good combination." Misaki explained

They tried to take in the instructions.

" Usually, if they're related or something, it'll make a good combination but it takes a little time to get it right if you're not. But it worked out for the three of us in the end." Misaki continued

" It worked out for you and Brother but I took a long time to get it right..." Kamui said

" Anyway, the rules to tag fights are, number one was what I explained just now, you can't talk or look at your partner's cards. Number two, only the person going lasg can attack first, the other three just ride the Vanguards then end the turn first." Aichi explained

" Number three, you can only attack the person in front of you." Kamui explained

" Number four, you can guard for your partner but you can't tell your partner so that's why I said communication is important in a tag fight. That's called a tag guard. But you can't use perfect guards in a tag fight. But you can use intercepts, but when you're being attacked, the partner can't intercept for you. Oh, and the partner can do Counterblast for you if you don't have enough damage." Misaki explained

" Number five, the team that gets 9 damage loses the fight. Got it?" Aichi ask

The fight table appeared and they prepared their decks and starting Vanguards.

" Draw. I ride... Maiden of Cherry Stone. Maiden of Physalis moves back. I call Caramel Popcorn. Maiden of Cherry Stone attacks." Kanata declared

" Drive check. Draw trigger. I give the power to Caramel Popcorn and I draw. Caramel Popcorn attacks." Kanata declared

" Draw. I ride Battle Maiden, Sahohime! I call Witch of Owls, Paprika and Broom Witch, Caraway! Paprika attacks!" Yuuko declared

" Drive check. Draw trigger! I give the power to Caraway and I draw one card. Sahohime's skill. Counterblast. I Soulcharge three cards. Caraway attacks!" Yuuko declared
