Hi again readers! I am presenting to everyone chapter 23! I hope everyone will enjoy it! And maybe Aichi will turn evil for some reason but turns back to normal again. Let's start!

Normal POV

Misaki and the others got worried.

" Aichi... Is he going to be alright? I'm afraid the guardian might suddenly take over him." Misaki said

" Aichi had something like that in him all this time? I didn't know this would happen." Kanata said

" But what Kai-san said... About surpassing him and Ren-san... I don't like the sound of that." Nagisa said

" Me neither and to tell you the truth... I would've rather watch them fight in a national championship than this kind of fight." Chieri said

" Me too."

" And besides... Kai's wrong about one thing... What he's doing instead of only surpassing Aichi and Ren, he's also helping to destroy the world! And he doesn't even care a single thing about it!" Takamina said

" In his mind right now, is only surpassing the both of them... Please win, Aichi!" Yuuko said

" Win and bring back the Kai we know, Aichi!" Takamina said

~ At the fight~

It was Kai's turn now.

" Stand and draw. Ride... Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon! Call! Krypton and Mana Shot Star-vader, Neon! Neon attacks Phallon!" Kai declared

" Guard!"

" White Night boosts Infinite Zero!" Kai declared

" No guard."

" Check the drive trigger. I got a critical trigger. I give Krypton the power and the extra critical to Infinite Zero." Kai declared

" Now he gets a critical trigger?!" Naoki exclaimed

Aichi was dealt two more damage, putting him at four.

" White Night's skill. I draw a card. Krypton attacks Phallon!" Kai declared

" Guard!"

" Turn end."

" 4 to 3." Kamui said

" He made a comeback!" Shingo said

" Until now, it was a perfect fight with both of them totally guarded. But I've seen Brother Aichi perform miracles before! At a time like this, he always wins!" Kamui said

" I will bring you back! There was a time when I pursued strength and became lost, but a leader guided me... That was you, Kai-kun!" Aichi thought

Aichi draws his card.

" Give me even more courage! Your proud, noble white wings! Break ride! Solitary Liberator, Gancelot! It gets +10000 power! And three rear-guard units each get +5000 power! Escard! Marron! Phallon! I call May Rain Liberator, Bruno! Gancelot attacks!" Aichi declared

" No guard."

" Drive trigger check! Heal trigger! I add +5000 power to Escard and I heal 1 damage point! Escard!" Aichi declared

" No guard."

" Escard's Counterblast! I superior call Flame of Victory! Bruno's skill, +3000 power!" Aichi declared

" 5 damage! Only one more to go!" Takamina said

" He has him on the ropes!" Yuuko said

" Go, Aichi-san!" Nagisa cheered

" Aichi..." Misaki said

" Come back to us, Kai!" Miwa said

Aichi looked over to them and nodded.

" Kai-kun, I'm going to put everyone's feelings for you into this one attack! Phallon attacks with a boost from Bruno!" Aichi declared

" Guard."

They all got shocked that he still had defensive units.

" Turn end..." Aichi declared

" He didn't finish him off..." Naoki said

" It's okay! The damage is 3 to 5. Brother still has the advantage. I know he can do this!" Kamui said

" That's right! Victory is right before his eyes!" Shingo said

" He's too quiet. I don't think it'll be over for Kai just like that." Miwa said

" Miwa..." Misaki said

" Aichi, you showed me plenty of your strength. In exchange, I'll show you the power of Link Joker that I was given!" Kai said, red marks appeared on his face

They couldn't believe what they heard.

" He was hiding the strength of that deck?!" Tsuna exclaimed

Phallon and Marron were locked.

" Marron and Phallon are locked?!" Sayaka exclaimed

" What is that lock ability?!" Kanata exclaimed

" Lock... You can't use that unit until your next turn is over... That means... In Aichi's next turn... he can only attack twice." Takamina said

" What?!"

" Infinite Zero gets +10000 power." Kai declared

" By locking units from the front and back of different lines, he protects against boosted attacks and intercepts!" Naoki exclaimed

" Neon moves. I cal Demon Claw Star-vader, Lanthanum and Star-vader, Colony Maker! Colony Maker's Counterblast! I call one Star-vader unit of grade 1 or lower from my deck. Lanthanum! Infinite Zero attacks with a boost from Lanthanum! Check the drive trigger. I got a draw trigger. I give the power to Colony Maker and draw. Second check." Kai declared

Aichi gasped.

" Double trigger?!" Aichi thought

" I got a critical trigger. I add +5000 power to the power of Krypton and give the extra critical to Infinite Zero." Kai declared

Aichi was now on his fifth damage.

" He's strong... But that's Kai for you!" Kamui said

" Shoot! Now Aichi is the one on the ropes!" Naoki said

" Neon boosts. Colony Maker attacks!" Kai declared

" Oh no, you don't! Guard!" Aichi declared

" He just has to block one more time!" Shingo said

" Krypton attacks with a boost from Lanthanum!" Kai declared

" I'm going to win! Come, irreplaceable soul brothers! Respond to my voice! Sword Formation Liberator, Igraine! Quintet Wall!" Aichi declared

Aichi managed to protect himself.

" Turn end..."

" Yeah! He blocked it! Just one more damage! Aichi's gonna win this! No doubt about it!" Naoki said

" But... Sendou-kun can only attack from two columns." Shingo said

" What the heck, Granny Glasses?! That ain't what you were sayin' before!" Naoki said

" I-I'm just saying the truth!" Shingo said

" Nope! Knowing Brother Aichi, I'm sure he'll do it!" Kamui said

" I'm going to win this turn. I'm going to release Kai-kun from that darkness!" Aichi said

" It's impossible. Your attacks won't get through. It looks like I've surpassed you!" Kai said

" What is he saying?! The battle is not over yet!" Takamina said

" Aichi, the darkness is going to swallow you up!" Kai said

Aichi flinched.

Takuto was watching the whole fight.

" Now then... Should we begin the plan? If it works on him..." Takuto said

Takuto took out an item and ringed.

At the fight...

The sound ringed out around the field.

" What's that sound?" Naoki ask

Misaki's device rang and she picked it up. Tsubasa was on the screen.

" Do you hear that sound?" Tsubasa ask

" Me too. You can hear that from Akibastar?" Misaki ask

" I can hear it coming from the shrine for some reason. How's Aichi doing?" Tsubasa ask

" Aichi!" Takamina suddenly exclaimed

Aichi was clenching his head.

" Aichi? Aichi!" Misaki exclaimed

Kai laughed menacingly.

" Kai! Do you know what's happening?!" Miwa ask

" Forcing out the evil." Kai replied

" Kai! Stop it right now!" Miwa said

" But I'm not the one that's doing it." Kai said

" Aichi! What's wrong?!" Naoki ask

" Stop it! Stop that sound!" Aichi shouted

" Where is that sound coming from?!" Naoki said

" You guys need to find the source of that sound and stop it! If not, the guardian will..." Tsubasa said

" What?!"

Aichi screamed as black mist surrounded him.

" Aichi!"

The black mist started to turn into black wings and the mist started to disappear. The appearance shocked all of them.

" A-Aichi?" Misaki ask

Aichi's white coat had turned black and his shirt had turned black as well. The black wings were on his back and his eyes had turned deep red. There was a earpiece on his ear.

" Aichi?"

" Stop him! He mustn't sing! Otherwise, the black nova gate will open!" Tsubasa said

" Black nova gate?" Naoki ask

" Gate of darkness, nothingness and despair. I should've know better. They were after his powers of darkness." Tsubasa said

" But how do we stop him?" Misaki ask

" Counter his song! That song is pure evil!" Tsubasa said

Aichi had begun his song after Tsubasa said that.

~ Black Diamond song start~

" Ichiban to negai goto oshiete." Everyone covered their ears.

" Anata no hoshi mono." Aichi's Kirara started glowing black.

" Volume furikireru hodo tsuyoku."

" Ookina koi de sakende mite." " My heart feels tingly... It hurts..." Chieri said

" Taiyou ga, mezame no uchi ni. Hajimeyou sekai wa."

" Hikari ni tsukimatou kage to odoru. Sou kimi no te wo totte." " What's with that song?!" Naoki exclaimed

" Saa, nani ga hoshii no? Nani mo motoreru no? Atsumeta kagayaki sono te no hira ni." " My ears can't handle this song!" Shingo said

" Subete sukui toru, yogoreta yozora ni."

" Kuroi daiyamondo, black diamond!" " Aichi! Can you hear us?! Stop! Stop singing!" Misaki shouted

" Saa, nani ga hoshii no? Nani mo motoreru no? Atsumeta kagayaki sono te no hira ni."

" Subete sukui toru, nejireru yozora ni." " Aichi! Aichi! Please, stop!" Takamina shouted

" Kuroi daiyamondo, black diamond!"

Everyone collapsed on their knees.

" How's Dark Guardian's song? His songs will cause hurt and despair to people." Kai said

" Aichi! Wake up! Stop! If you stay like that, you might open up the dark nova gate!" Naoki shouted

" Yes. That's our goal. The dark nova gate. Once it opens, the world will fall into eternal darkness." Kai said

" Girls! We need to get him back to normal! Let's go!" Takamina said

" Wait, Takamina! The song that you need must be pure light. If not, he won't go back to normal! Steps and lyrics must be perfect." Tsubasa said

" All perfect?!" Naoki exclaimed

" But... Our songs... It might not work..." Misaki said

" You have to try! That weird sound caused this but since we can't find it, there's no other way!" Tsubasa said

" Hey, Tsubasa-san! How do you think we can counter that song?! Even with our skills right now, we can't beat him!" Miwa said

" Then what should we do? Where's his locket?!" Tsubasa ask

Misaki looked around. She found the locket laying on the ground.

" Over there!" Misaki said

Naoki dashed for it and grabbed it.

" Hurry and open it!" Tsubasa said

Naoki opened the locket and the melody ringed around the field.

" It's working!" Shingo said

Aichi started to turn back to normal and he fell. Naoki caught him before he fell.

" Aichi? Aichi!" Naoki said

Naoki shook Aichi and Aichi opened his eyes slowly.

" Naoki-kun? What happened to me?" Aichi ask

" That's great! You're back to normal!" Naoki said

" I was fighting Kai-kun, then that weird sound came and then... I can't remember..." Aichi said

" Don't stress yourself to remember. You're still in the middle of the fight. Come on, I'll help you stand." Naoki said

Naoki helped Aichi to stand up.

" Good luck." Naoki said

" Yeah. Thank you, Naoki-kun." Aichi said

The fight continues after that.
