Normal POV
It's been almost four weeks since Aichi has gone back to the lake. Everything went back to normal, almost everything. What has changed is that the Cardfight Club has been attracting many students lately. But without Aichi, their club president around, it was boring to them. The four members started to walk to Card Capital after club activities.
" There's no end to them..." Naoki sighed
" Well, the club being popular is one thing but being asked everyday for a cardfight is no small feat." Kourin said
" I wish Sendou-kun was here..." Shingo said
It was silence...
" Come on, guys. Cheer up. He's definitely going to come back, I'm sure about it." Misaki said
" Yeah, we promised each other after all! We'll see him soon!" Naoki said
" Then, first, let's go to Card Capital to have a few rounds of cardfight since we're all bored right now!" Shingo said
" Yeah! I'll take you on anytime!" Naoki said
" If you can beat me this time though..." Shingo said
" Why you..." Naoki said
" Stop arguing, you two!" Kourin said
" Y-Yes!"
They finally arrived at Card Capital after that. Ever since Aichi left, his other friends have been hanging out at Card Capital, even Leon and the others and Ren and the others and their other friends, like Koutei and the others and Chris and the others, all waiting for Acihi to return.
" Hello!"
" Welcome, everyone! Your songs are a big hit at Akibastar after all!" Shin said
" Don't embarrass us like that, Shin-san." Misaki said
" But I think the one that they miss the most is Sendou-kun's songs..." Shingo said
" You're right. I saw on the fan page that they really miss Aichi, hoping that he would come back soon." Kourin said
" He sure will! He won't abandon us just like that!" Naoki said
" Now, let's put that thought aside and let's go have some rounds of cardfighting." Misaki said
" Yeah!"
~ After all the cardfighting~
" I need to go now. I'll see you guys tomorrow!" Naoki said
" Yeah, we'll see you tomorrow." Kourin said
" See ya guys!"
He started to walk back home after that. But that was when he heard something. A bell ringing.
" What was that?" Naoki wondered
That was when he heard the familiar music.
" This music is...!" Naoki exclaimed
He ran to the source of the music and found it but right after he arrived, the music stopped.
" I'm definitely not dreaming... That song... It was Aichi's song... 'Gift'!" Naoki thought
~ The next day~
Naoki arrived at the classroom to see Shingo and Kourin there too.
" Yo, Shingo, Kourin!" Naoki greeted
" Good morning, Ishida." Shingo greeted
Naoki related the incident yesterday to them.
" Are you serious?! You heard it?!" Shingo ask
" Yeah, really clearly. But it stopped right after I found it, so-" Naoki said
He was cut off by a voice.
" Good morning!"
They could recognize that voice anywhere... They turned to the door and saw...
" Aichi!"
" Aichi!"
" Sendou-kun!"
But shut themselves right after they realized that they were a little loud. Luckily, Aichi didn't hear it. He set his bag down and sat down on his chair.
" He's finally back!" Naoki said
" He kept his promise!" Kourin said
" Sendou-kun!" Shingo said
The three walked over to him.
" Yo, Aichi." Naoki said
Aichi looked up from his table and blinked at them.
" I-Is there something you need?" Aichi ask
" Don't... You recognize us?" Kourin ask
" No. I've never met any of you before. But I know that you three are my classmates..." Aichi replied
They were shocked, but they knew that they shouldn't be, since Kii has told them of the possibility of Aichi losing his memories were at least a hundred percent.
" Is something wrong?" Aichi ask
" N-No! Nothing! Oh right! Why don't you come to the Physics Room today?! We're having club activities today! Do you want to come and watch? By the way, my name's Naoki Ishida!" Naoki said
" I-I don't mind... Besides... I don't know anything about my family... And I'm Aichi Sendou." Aichi murmured
" T-Then it's settled! We'll go together later after class! I'm Kourin Tatsunagi and he's Shingo Komoi!" Kourin said
" O-Okay... N-Nice to meet you!"
The class bell ringed as they all went back to their seats. While lesson was ongoing, Aichi was thinking about something else.
" What was that just now...? When those three people approached me... My heart was... Pounding so hard... It's like I know them..." Aichi thought
And so... Lessons went on.
~ After school~
The bell ringed as they all started to pack their bags.
" Aichi. You ready to go?" Naoki ask
" Y-Yes..."
" Then let's go. Misaki could be waiting for us already." Kourin said
" Yeah."
" Let's go, Sendou-kun." Shingo said
" O-Okay..."
They walked to the club room and opened the door as Misaki was sitting there.
" Hello, Misaki."
" Yo, Boss Lady!"
" Hello, Misaki-san."
" Hello, every-"
She paused when she saw Aichi coming into the club room. She got up from her seat and moved over to him.
" W-What is it?" Aichi ask
She pulled him into a hug.
" What took you so long, you idiot? Everyone missed you... Welcome back, Aichi..." Misaki said
" U-Um... I'm sorry, but... Who are you...?" Aichi ask
Her eyes widened as she looked into Aichi's eyes. No signs of recognition was shown at all.
" I'm sorry. I must've mistaken you for someone else... By the way, my name's Misaki Tokura. Nice to meet you." Misaki said
" It's okay... And I'm Aichi Sendou... It's nice to meet you too..." Aichi said
They sat him down and explained what the club was about.
" Cardfight, huh? Sounds interesting... But I don't have a deck..." Aichi said
" Don't worry, we'll bring you somewhere fun later. You'll like it for sure." Naoki said
" Somewhere fun?" Aichi ask
" You see... Don't you remember anything at all?" Shingo ask
" No. It's so weird... I couldn't have lost so much memories... Why couldn't I remember anything?" Aichi ask
" Aichi, you'll understand when we get there..." Kourin said
" O-Okay..."
" No! We should go now! It's boring to fight so many people here!" Naoki said
" Alright. Let's go." Misaki said
" You just have to follow us. You'll be really happy there." Shingo said
" Y-Yeah..."
They walked out of the club room.
They finally arrived at Card Capital as Aichi read the sign.
" Card... Capital..."
" Yeah, this is my family's shop." Misaki said
" Awesome..." Aichi said
" Does it ring any bell?" Naoki ask
Aichi looked at the sign again.
" Card... Capital..."
Aichi shook his head.
" I can't remember anything..." Aichi said
" I see... Then it's okay..." Naoki said
" Now, let's go in." Kourin said
" Okay..."
They went inside and saw their other friends inside.
" Oh! Yo, everyone!" Miwa greeted
" Yo, guys..." Naoki said
" Hello..."
" What's wrong? You guys look really down." Miwa said
" Why don't you see for yourself...?" Misaki said
She moved to the counter and put on her apron. The others looked over to Naoki and the others, as they moved aside. Aichi entered with his eyes wandering around the shop.
" Aichi-kun!" Ren said
" Huh?"
" You're finally back!" Koutei said
" Brother Aichi!" Kamui said
" W-Why are they saying the same thing as these four? And... Brother? I don't remember having a little brother..." Aichi thought
" W-Wait! I-I think you're mistaking me for someone else! I-I don't even know all of you!" Aichi said
" Huh?!"
" B-Besides, they brought me here to show me something only..." Aichi said
" Oh, right." Misaki said
She reached into the counter and got something out, a deck case.
" Here. This deck is for you." Misaki said
" Huh? T-Thanks..." Aichi said, taking the deck
He looked through the deck as he saw one of the cards.
" Blaster Blade... Liberator..." Aichi said
He stared at the card for awhile... His memories of when he was young came back to him in fragments.
" Imagine it! You being strong and courageous like that warrior in that card!"
" B-But I can't..."
" You can do it! I'm sure of it!"
" Um... What's your name...?"
" Kai... Toshiki Kai!"
" A-Aichi Sendou..."
The memory fragment disappeared after that.
" Toshiki... Kai..."
" What did you say just now?!" Naoki ask
" I-I'm not sure... Moreover... I can't see the face of that boy for some reason..." Aichi said
" You can't...? Then that can't be helped..." Kourin said
" Okay, everyone. Let's put all that thought aside and teach Aichi some rules and how to play Vanguard." Misaki said
" Okay! I'm gonna go first!" Naoki said
" No! I am!" Shingo said
" What was that?!" Naoki ask
They all laughed at their usual antics.
" Somehow... It's nostalgic... Huh? Nostalgic...?" Aichi thought
The day went past as they continued to teach Aichi about the game, and believe it or not, Aichi has been learning quite fast and defeating Leon's, Chris's and Ren's team. Somethings doesn't change...
It was time for Aichi to go but Misaki and the others don't even know where he would live since he couldn't remember his family.
" Wait, Aichi!" Naoki said
" What is it?" Aichi ask
" D-Do you want us to follow you back? I mean... It's getting late..." Naoki said
" I don't mind." Aichi said
He left the shop as they processed it.
" He's saying that you guys can follow him! Hurry and go!" Yuri said
" Y-Yeah!"
They ran after Aichi as they followed him to a place that was not so familiar but still familiar to them, they wondered why would Aichi go there to live.
" We're here." Aichi said
They were standing in front of a house that was obviously handmade by a few people.
" Awesome..." Naoki said
Aichi opened the door and signaled them to go in.
" I'm back!"
" Oh! Welcome back! What took you so long today?"
They could recognize that voice anywhere. Takamina came out of the living room and saw Misaki and the others.
" Looks like we have guests. Go up and take a shower. Dinner's almost ready." Takamina said
" Okay, Takamina-san. Make yourselves comfortable here." Aichi said
He took his schoolbag and went up to his room. When Takamina made sure he was out of listening range, she signaled them into the living room. They all sat down on the sofa as Yuuko also came out.
" What's going on, Takamina, Yuuko? Why is Aichi living here with you two?" Misaki ask
" Kii told us to." Yuuko replied
" Kii told you two to?" Naoki ask
" Yeah. That day before Aichi left, Kii left us a message. 'When he comes out from healing, he'll lose all his memories for sure. So I need you two to take care of him in his world when that time comes. Keep your identity a secret to him, you will be identified to him as close relatives. Because his powers will be totally different when he comes out. Then, I'll leave him to you.' was what he said." Takamina said
" What does he mean by his powers will be totally different?" Shingo ask
" Well, maybe you can see it tonight. But it depends." Yuuko said
Aichi entered the living room at the same time.
" Oh, did I interrupt something?" Aichi ask
" No, we just finished talking. Dinner's ready. We should start eating now." Takamina said
" Okay..."
They started to eat their dinner and talking formally, as if to show Aichi that they don't know each other so that they don't confuse him.
" Thanks for the dinner!"
" Look at the time! We need to go! Thanks for the dinner!" Naoki said
" Yeah, we'll see you guys soon." Yuuko said
" Yeah! See you at school tomorrow, Aichi." Kourin said
" Yeah. I'll see everyone tomorrow." Aichi said
They waved goodbye at the door.
" Now, it's time for you to change by now." Takamina said
" I want to go outside for a bit..." Aichi said
" I see. Alright. Don't get into so much trouble though." Yuuko said
" I got it."
He put on his shoes and headed outside.
Misaki was preparing to sleep and patting the Assistant cat. Naoki is at home, thinking about something while sitting on his bed. Shingo was packing his stuff for his school while thinking about something. Kourin was also thinking about something while combing her hair. A song was suddenly filling the whole town.

The song had actually made a calming effect to the whole town as Misaki and the others all went into a deep sleep.
~ The next day~
They all arrived at the classroom.
" Good morning!"
" Good morning, Ishida." Shingo said
" Good morning." Kourin said
" I somehow got a good night sleep yesterday too!" Naoki said
" But it's weird. Why would a song suddenly have that much power to make the whole town so calming?" Kourin said
" Good morning!"
They turned to see Aichi entering the classroom.
" Good morning, Aichi!"
" Good morning, everyone."
He placed his bag down.
" Hey, did you hear that song yesterday? It was really calming! I can't believe I actually fell asleep after that!" Naoki said
" Really? I guess I did too." Aichi said
They suddenly heard murmurs coming from their classmates.
" Hey, did you hear? Someone was on our school rooftop, and that mysterious person was the one who sang that mysterious calming song!"
" Huh?! Really?!"
" So what happened?!"
" The picture is pinned up on the school board! Let's go see it!"
Their classmates all ran outside. Aichi flinched a little.
" Really? Aichi, you wanna go see it?" Naoki ask
" Y-Yes... I would want to see who that person is..." Aichi replied
They all left the classroom and went to see the picture.
" What is this?!"
" I can't see the face!"
" But that person has wings like an angel!"
" Beautiful!"
They all saw the picture as Aichi flinched. It was a picture of a dark night with the full moon in the distance. A pair of pure white wings like an angel with a few rainbow strips on each of the wings was covering the face of the person sitting there. There were two tiny bells on each end of the wings.
" A bell..." Naoki said
He remembered having hearing a bell sound before hearing the music.
" It can't be..." Naoki said
His eyes reverted to Aichi.
" It can't be just a coincidence..." Naoki thought
Aichi went back to the classroom first before anyone could see his nervousness.
" What's wrong with Aichi?" Kourin ask
" I think I know." Naoki replied
" What is it?" Shingo ask
He pointed to the picture in answer.
~ After school~
Aichi and the others left school again and headed to Card Capital immediately, while. Naoki and the others were behind him, discussing about something.
" So you think that the new power that they were talking about... Is that...?" Shingo whispered
" Yeah. He was acting really nervous when he saw the picture. There's no doubt about it." Naoki whispered
" But the last time we saw his wings, it has the color of a Galaxy. How can it suddenly turn into something pure white and they are angel wings at that." Kourin whispered
" It doesn't make sense why either. But if you come to a theory that something changed inside of him during the healing, don't you think that's why Takamina and Yuuko were given that message to take care of Aichi by Kii?" Naoki whispered
" Now that you've said it, it makes some sense at least..." Shingo whispered
" Yeah... If it comes to this then... How and why did he get that power? There must be a reason for everything!" Naoki whispered
" Talk later. We'll talk to Misaki about this too." Kourin whispered
" Okay."
They finally arrived at Card Capital as they entered the shop and Aichi started to chat with the others inside while Naoki and the others went to Misaki to explain their theory.
" Then, the song last night was what Takamina and Yuuko were talking about? The new power?" Misaki whispered
" Yeah. He was nervous when he saw the picture that was put up. Something's up and we need to get to the bottom of it." Naoki whispered
" And to do that, we need to go to the school at night." Shingo whispered
They all nodded in agreement.
" Everyone! Who wants to have another round of cardfight?!" Naoki ask
" Okay!"
They continued cardfighting as time passes.
~ In the middle of the night~
Naoki and the others were at the roof of the school, hiding behind a staircase door.
" You sure this is a good idea?" Misaki ask
" Of course I'm sure and with these dark clothes, the mystery person can never see us!" Naoki said
" I wonder about this..." Kourin said
" Shh! I hear something coming!" Shingo whispered
" And why did you bring a camera?" Misaki ask, directing her question to Naoki
" I'm really curious too..." Naoki replied
She sighed. They continued to look at the roof as a bell ringed and someone with white wings came flying down and sat on the bench.
" There he is!" Shingo whispered
" But I can't see the face clearly..." Kourin whispered
" We can't go closer to look too... He'll see us if we do." Misaki whispered
" Then what should we do?" Naoki whispered
" I don't know..."
" Hey! I think he's starting!" Naoki whispered
They looked over to the mysterious figure.

Naoki and the others recognized the song, and so will the others when they hear the song.
" What's... that...?" Naoki said
After the song had ended, rainbow feathers were floating all over the place. The figure stood up and looked at the feathers all around him, they were given a full view of his face when he turned. It was really Aichi!
" It's really him!" Shingo exclaimed
They shut his mouth immediately and hid away before Aichi could turn to see them.
" Weird... I thought I heard a voice... Oh well..." Aichi thought and shrugged it off
" Now... I think it's time to go." Aichi said
He blew on the feathers for a few seconds and they all flew all over the town and even to Naoki and the others.
" What?!"
The feathers touched them as they suddenly felt something inside them.
" What's this...? I feel so..." Kourin said
" Weird... After that feather went into me, my body feels so light... Like all burdens are lifted from within me..." Misaki said
" I'm the same too..." Naoki said
" Me too..." Shingo said
" That new power... There's something more to that..." Misaki said
Meanwhile, Aichi got ready to leave when two footsteps approached him. He turned to see two mysterious figures.
" We finally found you." A voice said
" Who are you?" Aichi ask
" You don't have to know. Your powers are going to be our core of power. So we need you to come with us, whether you like it or not." One of them said
" I-I can't... I need to go back..." Aichi said, taking a step back
" You're not going anywhere." Another said
" I-I'm sorry... I-I need to leave..." Aichi said, taking another step back
He started to fly up to get away.
" We won't let you." The first one said
Red energy strings suddenly came out of nowhere and bind him to prevent Aichi from running away.
" Caught you." The other one said
They walked forward as Aichi struggled.
" No! Let me go! What do you want with me?! H-Help me!" Aichi shouted
Naoki and Shingo immediately dashed out and tackled the two to the ground. Misaki and Kourin came out and started to try to get rid of the strings binding Aichi.
" Everyone!" Aichi exclaimed
" Hurry... Boss Lady... Kourin!" Naoki said
" These two are strong for girls!" Shingo said
" We're almost there!" Misaki said
" Just hang on for a little longer..." Kourin said
" We got it!"
The strings were loosened and Aichi was released. His wings retracted back into his back.
" T-Thank you very much..." Aichi said
" Now, let's go! Naoki, Shingo!" Misaki said
" Right!"
They took Aichi away from the two women and ran down to the gate.
" Darn it! He got away!" One of them said
" We need to go back! This is not going to be good news to his ears..." Another one said
" Let's go!"
The two disappeared after that.
Naoki and the others were still running away with Aichi back to his house. They knocked on the door as Takamina opened the door.
" Everyone! What are you guys doing this late at night?" Takamina ask
She turned her head to see Aichi, with a worried and frightened expression.
" Let's bring him in first." Takamina said
They nodded and brought Aichi to his room to let him rest.
" Now, go to sleep. Don't worry, me and Yuuko are here." Takamina said
Aichi nodded and closed his eyes. He immediately fell asleep after that.
" Now, we'll go down to chat about what happened." Takamina said
They nodded and went down to sit on the sofa again.
" So you saw everything, right? What else did you see?" Takamina ask
" There were suddenly two girls, who appeared out of nowhere and immediately targeted Aichi, saying something about him that he was going to be their core of power whether he likes it or not." Naoki explained
" Go on." Yuuko said
" Then after that when Aichi was about to leave, they trapped him with some sort of red strings. Shingo and I tackled the two while Boss Lady and Kourin helped to release Aichi, then the rest is what you know now." Naoki continued
" So, he's starting to be targeted now?" Takamina said
" But that's impossible! How can they possibly get information so quickly?! Information can't be passed on so quickly!" Yuuko said
" Yuuko, he did warn us about it too. Information can be passed on quickly once he sings on the first night." Takamina said
" What are you talking about?" Kourin ask
" Since you saw all that, it can't hurt to tell you guys anything." Takamina said
~ Flashback start~
Takamina and Yuuko went down to the cave once more for their daily checks when they heard music and ran down to see Aichi awake and happy.
" Aichi!"
Aichi turned to see them and he walked over to them.
" You two are my relatives?" Aichi ask
" Um... Y-Yeah! How did you know?" Yuuko ask
" I was told. Nice to meet you!" Aichi greeted
" Nice to meet you." The two girls greeted
" But I'm so sleepy right now..." Aichi said
He collapsed right after as Takamina caught him.
" Hey, Aichi!" Takamina said
Kii suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
" See what I mean. Now, I need to tell you two this. You two have a mission to do." Kii said
" What mission?" Takamina ask
" Protect Aichi. Protect him as he does his own mission in his world." Kii said
" What mission is he doing?" Yuuko ask
" Apart from being able to control the Guardian and doing those jumps, now he also has this mission... Given by Sensei-Sensei, he is to spread the sparkle of the rainbow aura around his world." Kii explained
" Sparkle?"
" Yes. Right now, what his world is lacking is the sparkles of the dualiums and the rainbow aura. So he has that mission in his mind and he will do his best to do it, even if he exhausts his body. He'll keep going on." Kii said
" But why do we have to protect Aichi?" Yuuko ask
" You see... I can sense there's danger coming in his world again soon and they are seeking his kind of power... To restore the powers of the darkness, counteracting with Aichi's rainbow's power, they can form a different world altogether. Their motive is simple... To bring darkness, shadows and despair to both worlds. They're a group of dangerous people and their songs can hurt Aichi really badly mentally. Two possesses two songs that can bring along pain, one possesses a song that can hypnotize people to sleep, another one possesses a song that makes people dance really weirdly and lastly, that person possesses a song that can blast out fire when singing." Kii explained (Sound familiar? I might be bringing them in.)
" Aichi's rainbow's power?" Takamina ask
" It's inside him. Your enemies has the Shadow Jewel, a jewel that brings destruction upon a world. A complete opposite of it is the Rainbow Jewel, Sensei-Sensei has placed it into Aichi's body for safekeeping, but if those enemies sing their songs, they might be able to force the jewel out of Aichi's body, if his willpower is not strong enough..." Kii explained
" When are they going to appear?" Yuuko ask
" Who knows... Maybe after the first night when Aichi starts to sing his song and spreads the sparkle... Information will pass to them really quickly. So be on guard because who knows what might happen." Kii said
" Got it!"
~ Flashback end~
Naoki and the others tried to take in the information.
" I see... Something like that happened..." Naoki said
" No matter what. We can't let anything happen to him anymore! He's gone through too much!" Yuuko said
" I agree. We can't let what happened today happen anymore. Can we do anything to help?" Misaki ask
" We're thinking of going to your school to take care of him but it is much appreciated if you can help to take care of him too." Yuuko said
" Right!"
" Now, now! It's getting late and I don't think you can go back hime now. Why don't you stay over here and go to school with Aichi tomorrow? Naoki and Shingo can go to sleep with Aichi. Misaki and Kourin can sleep with Yuuko and I. We can't risk it anymore." Takamina said
" Okay! You can count on us!" Naoki said
" Thanks guys. Now, let's all go to sleep! Goodnight!" Yuuko said
" Goodnight!"
