When the others arrived, they immediately discussed about what happened while Aichi was still asleep.
" So that happened..." Koutei said
" What should we do?" Yuri ask
" There's no doubt they'll come back again. So we need to protect Aichi as much as we can. We can supervise him in school tomorrow. So we don't have to worry about that there. But the problem is if they ever attack Aichi without him knowing." Misaki said
" And he always goes to our school rooftop at night to do his job. We can't control that." Naoki said
" But we'll see what's the outcome tomorrow, so we'll give you guys an update tomorrow when we meet." Shingo said
" Okay!"
" Now then, let's put that aside and have some Vanguard fights!" Ren said
" Okay!"
And so, they started to fight each other in a Vanguard Fight, and when Aichi woke up, they also challenged him to some cardfights.
~ The next day~
The four were in their class as Misaki had gone to her own class. But...
" Huh? Where's Aichi?" Naoki ask
" Weird. He was here a few minutes ago..." Kourin said
" Did something happen to him?" Shingo said
That was when they heard music and they panicked immediately.
" Ai to, yume wa, hitotsu ni nari. Kanashii 'ima' wo hoshikuzu ni shite, kureru kara, shinjite..."
The four who heard it ran to the source before the students could and opened the door to the roof and saw Aichi there.
" What are you doing?!" Naoki ask
Aichi turned to see them.
" Hello, everyone." Aichi greeted
" I think it's coming from the roof." A voice said
They immediately grabbed Aichi's hand and dashed to a hiding place.
" What is it? Why are we hiding?" Aichi ask
Naoki covered his mouth immediately before anyone could hear him. Students dashed up to the roof but to their disappointment, they couldn't find the mystery person at all. They went down, back to their classrooms. Naoki and the others heaved a sigh of relief before reverting their gazes to Aichi.
" What are you doing?! If other people find out about you, you're gonna be in trouble!" Naoki said
" But it's been two days since I've stopped for awhile. I thought I could do it today." Aichi said
" No way! If anyone finds you doing that, you're going to be all over the school boards and the latest gossips in the school, or even worse, the whole of Japan!" Kourin said
" And what about your job in Akibastar?! When are you going start?!" Shingo ask
" Wait, wait, wait! Firstly, I'm sorry about just now... And, Takamina-san and Yuuko-san will bring me to Akibastar after they see that I'm stable enough to start again." Aichi said
" Jeez... Now I regret so much about telling you that you are one of Akibastar's top idol..." Misaki said
" Even if you didn't, I might have even got back some of my memories... Besides, when the three of us came here, we were accompanied by some of the other 00 members to build the house." Aichi said
" No wonder we don't even remember any houses there, so you guys built it." Naoki said
" Yeah..."
" You... Want to ask us about something?" Kourin ask
" A-A little... Uh... Emi-chan went to Card Capital yesterday with Mai-chan, right...? Uh... How should I say it...? Could you tell me more about how we're related...?" Aichi ask
" Why the sudden request?" Misaki ask
" B-Because... I wasn't really exactly calm that day... And just went off like that... So, I thought that if I could find out more, maybe... I can get some of my memories back...?" Aichi said
" Well... It depends on how you take it in, and you weren't exactly ready to accept that when they said it that day... So maybe, we wait until your mind is ready for it, then we tell you...?" Shingo ask
" Y-Yeah..."
" Now let's go back to class. Before the bell rings and people suspecting us about why we took so long, after all, be safe than sorry." Kourin said
" Right!"
The five ran back to their classes as they made it back in time and the bell rang.
~ After school~
Aichi started packing his bag. While he was packing, the other three noticed stares coming from some of their classmates. Hurriedly, Naoki and Shingo called Aichi and Kourin over and ran to the club room together. When they arrived, Misaki was waiting inside there.
" Hello, everyone."
" Yo, Boss Lady!" Naoki greeted
" Hello, Misaki-san!" Aichi greeted
" Hello, Misaki." Kourin greeted
" Hello, Misaki-san." Shingo greeted
They sat beside her as Naoki challenged Aichi to another fight and the other three discussed about class.
" Same for me. Even Akari's suspecting me, I was never almost one minute late for class after all and she knows me best." Misaki said
" Our classmates were staring at us. It's not unusual why though. Aichi was missing for a few weeks, then suddenly coming back with no memory and to make it worse, they must've realized that the day Aichi came back was when the mystery singing started." Kourin said
" Akari noticed that too and asked me that question. Of course, I just ignored it." Misaki said
" We need to keep on a lookout. Especially Sendou-kun... He keeps running off without us knowing every time. I'm worried that he'll run into trouble when he's out of our sight." Shingo said
" And if you remember, he was bullied countless times in this exact elementary school at Miyaji before when he was young. No doubt the same people will interrogate it out of him." Kourin said
" I know what you mean." Misaki said
At that time, Naoki slumped over on the table.
" I lost again!" Naoki said
" That was fast. Looks like you've still got long ways to go." Kourin said
" I was so close too!" Naoki said
" Naoki..." Misaki said
" Yeah?"
" Where's... Sendou-kun?" Shingo ask
" Ah, he's over the-" Naoki pointed but then the spot where Aichi was originally at was empty
" He's not there..." Kourin said
" H-Huh?! He was keeping his cards right here! See! His cards are still here!" Naoki said
" Look! The door is open!" Shingo said
They looked over to the door.
" He went off again!" Naoki said
" Let's go! He couldn't have gone far!" Misaki said
" Yeah!"
The four went off to look for Aichi.
Meanwhile, Aichi was following a bunch of boys after they had called him out while he was keeping his cards to the back of the school where no one could see them.
" U-Um... Is there something you need...?" Aichi ask
" Yeah, we do have a question." One of them said
His back was now facing the walls, cornered by the boys.
" W-What...?" Aichi ask
A hand slammed beside him as he got startled.
" How did one game actually get you so famous? And you even went missing for weeks I heard. And when you came back, that mystery singing started. I wonder if you're connected to any of them, especially when you came back exactly that night those things started." The same boy said
" I-I don't know what you're talking about..." Aichi said
" Don't lie. You've never been good at lying since elementary school." The boy said
" Elementary school...?" Aichi said
Some parts of his previous memories of being in Miyaji came back to him with Kai's involvement of handing Blaster Blade again.
" These guys are the bullies in elementary!" Aichi thought
" What? Don't tell me you don't remember. Or is it you've lost your memories?" The boy ask
" Uh..."
" Well now, then that's good! We'll just refresh those memories for you!" The boy said
The three boys were cracking their knuckles as Aichi felt his breathing heavier and his throat lump.
" Even if I try to stop them... What should I do...?" Aichi thought
" I hope you're ready for more beating!" The boy said
Aichi closed his eyes but the pain didn't come. When he opened his eyes, he discovered that his hands had just acted by itself and blocked two punches with his elbow blocking one.
" What the?!"
" Now!" Aichi thought
He immediately ran away as fast as he could back into the school. After awhile of running, he turned behind to see the three boys gone and heaved a sigh of relief.
" Aichi!"
Aichi turned behind to see Naoki and the others running to him.
" Everyone!"
" Jeez! Where'd you go?!" Naoki ask
" Sorry... Some of the elementary school bullies wanted to beat me up again..." Aichi said
" Then are you alright?! Are you hurt anywhere?!" Kourin ask
" Yes, I'm fine. Although, I guess my reflexes came up first and I blocked their punches." Aichi said
" Again, telling you about what you did in Akibastar can still be a good thing too." Misaki said
" I guess so..." Aichi said
" Well, since those bullies are out to get you again, let's go to Card Capital." Naoki said
" Good idea." Shingo said
" Then let's go." Aichi said
" Yeah!"
They headed off to Card Capital as they discussed about Akibastar and school stuff. Four figures kept watch of them once again but it wasn't their enemies but instead, some other people.
" Is that him?" One of them ask
" Yeah. That's him." Another replied
" I can't believe I'm seeing him in the flesh!" The third one said excitedly
" I don't think you're as excited as this guy here. He's a big fan of his." The fourth one said
" I-I'm not!" The first one said
" Then why do you keep his Asia Circuit's poster in your room or even bring it around to our hotels every time?" The second one ask
" S-Shut up! We got a job to do!" The first one said
" You're right. We cannot neglect our duties." The fourth one said
" But is what he said true? That Aichi-sama doesn't remember anything?" The third one ask
" It might be true. But we can only confirm it next time. For now, we should closely follow him." The second one replied
" Right!"
The four said it a little too loudly and hid away. Aichi turned behind but couldn't see them. He shrugged it off and went to catch up with his friends. The four came out of hiding again.
" That was close..." The four sighed
They followed Aichi and his friends as they entered Card Capital. They kept outside to keep watch.
Meanwhile, Aichi and the others had settled down in Card Capital and started cardfighting each other. Aichi noticed Kai from the corner of his eyes. When Kai turned to see him, he looked away from him while blushing. He took out his deck and started looking through it. Naoki approached him.
" Aichi! Wanna have a fight?!" Naoki ask
" Sure!"
Aichi got up and left, not noticing the stare coming from Kai. When he stood up, Kai noticed a shadowy figure outside the shop's window. The shadow seem to notice Kai's stare and went away.
" Was that just my imagination?" Kai thought
Miwa tapped his shoulder as Kai turned back to him.
" What are you thinking about~? From the looks of how you were staring, you really like him, right~?" Miwa teased
" Be quiet. It's none of your business." Kai said
Miwa smirked as Kai looked over to Aichi, who's still fighting Naoki.
" If that was the enemy... No... Must be fans, since they're too careless to be enemies..." Kai thought
He turned back to Miwa after awhile of thinking.
Meanwhile, the four figures outside heaved a sigh of relief.
" I thought he saw us..." The third one said
" I think he did but shrugged us off..." The first one said
" Lucky us..." The fourth one said
" So how do we tell this news to Aichi-dono?" The second one ask
" Patience. We need to wait for tonight. Besides, that guy told us to protect Aichi-sama but he just said that he was needed to be protected because an evil power is after his own power that still lies dormant in his heart. In the first place, he saved the whole world while risking it, it was the least we could do as cardfighters." The first one said
" So we tell him at night? Or are we just going to keep following him till no end?" The fourth one ask
" Let's see first." The first one said
The four went back into hiding as they waited for Aichi.
~ At the evening~
Aichi exited the shop and Naoki followed him out before he left the area.
" Hey, Aichi! You goin' back there tonight?" Naoki ask
" I might be. I've been a bit tired lately. But I suppose I should go there tonight, since I couldn't for the past two days." Aichi replied
" Then everyone will be meeting you there. You sure you're going to be alright? You know, you can skip it a little... Even if they tell you not to..." Naoki whispered the last part
Aichi giggled.
" It's my duty. You guys don't have to meet me there. I'll be fine alone, then I better go back home before Takamina-san and Yuuko-san calls me again." Aichi said
" Okay. Just be careful." Naoki said
" I will." Aichi said
He waved goodbye to Naoki as Naoki went back into the shop. Aichi started to walk back home as the four figures followed him along.
" I wonder where he's going... His house was supposed to be on the other street." The first one said
" Maybe he moved house." The third one said
" No, think about it. Since he lost his memories, maybe someone else is taking care of him." The fourth one said
" Hey, there's something there." The second one said
Aichi's bag cover was moving as Aichi tried to keep it still. His Kirara popped out of his bag.
" Kirara! What am I going to do if other people sees you?! Come back!" Aichi said
Kirara took a quick glance to the four as it floated away.
" Wait a minute! Come back here!" Aichi shouted
He ran after his Kirara as the four tried to keep up with him.
" He's so fast!" The first one exclaimed
" Don't lose him!" The fourth one said
They stopped when Aichi caught his Kirara.
" Jeez! Don't run off like that ever again! Come on, we're going back home!" Aichi said
He walked off with Kirara in his hands so that nobody can see it. When he arrived back at his house, Kirara got loose of his grip and went up to his room.
" I'm back!" Aichi greeted
" Welcome back! Did you have fun today?" Takamina ask
" Yes! I'm going back up to change then." Aichi replied
" Alright. Dinner's almost ready." Yuuko said
" Yeah!"
He changed his shoes to his slippers as he went up to his room. Kirara was floating around in his room. He put down his bag as he started to change out of his clothes. The four was just below his bedroom window. The second one was letting the first one onto his shoulders so that he can see what was going on.
" A little higher..." The first one whispered
The second one went higher as the first one reached the window. When he reached, he couldn't stop blushing at the sight. Aichi had already taken off his clothes as he got ready to take off his pants. But then when he turned to the window...
" AAAHHH!"
He literally screamed as he hurriedly put on his clothes before Takamina and Yuuko ran up to check what had happened. His Kirara floated around the first one as he toppled over with the second one.
" Aichi! What happened?!" Takamina ask
" T-T-T-There's s-s-s-someone d-d-down t-t-t-there..." Aichi stuttered out while blushing madly
" Huh?!"
They opened the window and looked down as they see the four figures over one another.
" We better go see..." Takamina said
" How did they know about this place? And why did they even tried to peek on you while you were changing?" Yuuko ask
" I don't know anything! I don't even know how they followed me here!" Aichi said
They went down the stairs and went to the garden where Aichi's bedroom window was below.
" Who are you?!" Takamina ask
" W-We can explain!" The first one said
" W-We were sent here to... Protect Aichi-sama by orders..." The third one said
" Orders?!"
The three looked at each other before inviting them to the house.
" My name is Olivier Gaillard." Gaillard said
" My name is Philippe Neve." Neve said
" My name is Ratie Curti!" Ratie said
" My name is Raul Sera." Sera said
" My name is Takamina Takahashi." Takamina said
" My name is Oshima Yuuko." Yuuko said
" Aichi's currently still changing thanks to someone here." Takamina said
" Sorry..." Gaillard said
Aichi came down after awhile.
" Oh yeah, and no matter what you know about him, don't say anything..." Yuuko whispered
" Y-Yes..."
Aichi sat down beside them after that.
" Sorry about that just now..." Gaillard said, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck
" It's okay... It's my fault for forgetting to close the curtains..." Aichi sheepishly said
" Oh, look at the time. Aichi." Takamina said
" I better go now. Don't worry, I'll come back in awhile. So just stay and chat, I'll be back soon." Aichi said
" Where are you going this late at night?" Ratie ask
" I have something I have to do." Aichi replied
" Do you want us to follow you?" Sera ask
" No, there's no need. I'll be going now." Aichi said
" Be careful! I'll heat up the food for you later!" Yuuko said
" Okay!"
He ran out of the house as Gaillard and the others just looked at each other.
" Don't worry. He's always going out late at night and coming back half and hour later. He just has some things to settle at night every time." Takamina said
" In the meantime, why don't we take you to some of the guest rooms? We'll be glad to have some more people in the house. The more the merrier after all." Yuuko said
" T-Thank you very much!"
Both led them to their rooms as they wonder about how Aichi was doing.
Meanwhile, Aichi had arrived at the school rooftop. Naoki and the others appeared from hiding.
" Everyone! It's cold out here! You'll catch a cold!" Aichi said
" It's fine. Besides that... You should say yourself. You're wearing such thin clothes outside... Be careful, you might get sick." Naoki said
" I'm going to be fine. You guys should go back. I'll be fine by myself." Aichi said
" No. We can't leave you alone here. What if the enemy comes?" Shingo ask
" Okay..."
" Now, go. It's getting late and you don't want to be late for school tomorrow." Misaki said
" I got it." Aichi said
They walked to one side as Aichi sat down on the bench.

Aichi got up as his Kirara went all over the city to spread some rainbow aura around.
" I guess that's done." Aichi said
" That's pretty..." Kourin said
" Yeah... You guys should go home now. It's getting colder out here." Aichi said
" Alright. But be careful..." Misaki said
" I will."
They walked back home as Aichi waited for his Kirara to return before taking off back home too.
When he arrived back home, he removed his shoes and put on his slippers.
" Welcome home, Aichi." Yuuko greeted
" I'm back." Aichi greeted
" The four are upstairs sleeping after listening to you. It was great today. Do you want me to reheat your dinner?" Yuuko ask
" No thanks... I'm a little tired..." Aichi replied
" Okay. Then you better go and change. Oh yeah, Gaillard-kun will be attending your school tomorrow. Ratie-chan will be attending Miyaji Academy, so she'll be connected to the High school too." Takamina explained
" Okay. Then goodnight. Don't stay up too late too." Aichi said
" Yeah."
Aichi changed and went to bed after that.
~ The next day~
Aichi woke up in a daze and changed to his school uniform. He went down and sat on the dining table.
" Good morning." Yuuko greeted
" Good morning, Yuuko-san..." Aichi greeted
" You alright? You sound weak." Yuuko said
" No, I'm fine! Where are the others?" Aichi ask
" They should be coming down soon." Takamina replied
Gaillard and Ratie ran down the steps with their school uniforms on.
" Good morning, everyone!" The two greeted
" Good morning!"
" Where are Neve and Sera?" Takamina ask
" We let them sleep for awhile more. They have jet lag on the planes and haven't recovered since yesterday." Ratie replied
" Really? I didn't notice that." Aichi said
" But yesterday's suddenly singing helped them, we just let them rest and they'll wake up by themselves." Gaillard said
" I see..."
The three finished their meals as they said their goodbyes to Takamina and Yuuko and left the house. They arrived at their school and Ratie went her own way to the middle school division as Gaillard and Aichi entered the high school division.
" Just go to the teacher's office there and they'll handle the rest." Aichi said
" Thank you, Aichi-san." Gaillard thanked
" Your welcome. I'm so lucky that I told you two to not call me '-sama' here..." Aichi sighed
" Don't worry. We won't say that word in this place." Gaillard said
" Thank you. Then I'll see you in class later." Aichi said
" Yes."
Aichi went back to class as Gaillard went to the teacher's office.
" Good morning!" Aichi greeted
" Yo, Aichi." Naoki greeted
" Good morning, Naoki-kun..." Aichi greeted
He set his bag down as he laid his head down on the desk.
" You alright? You look a little pale..." Naoki said
He touched his forehead.
" It's hot! Must be from last night..." Naoki said
" I'm fine... I can still make it until school ends..." Aichi said
" Then you better go back immediately after school! Don't go to Card Capital today!" Naoki said
" I got it..." Aichi said
The teacher arrived as they sat back down.
" Alright, settle down, class. We have a new transfer student today. Come in." The teacher said
Gaillard entered the class as he wrote down his name.
" My name is Olivier Gaillard. It's nice to meet everyone." Gaillard greeted
" Gaillard. Take the seat beside Sendou." The teacher said
" Yes."
He sat beside Aichi as he noticed Aichi's pale face.
" Are you okay, Aichi?" Kourin whispered
" Yes... I'm just a little tired..." Aichi whispered
Class continued after that.
~ After school~
The bell rang as they started to pack their bags.
" Gaillard-san, there's a procedure in our school where we need to join a club whenever we enter this school. So, which club are you interested to join in?" The class president ask
Gaillard took the list from her as he scanned through it.
" I would like to join the Cardfight Club." Gaillard said
" There's a requirement to join that club. You'll need to defeat one of their members in order to join." The class president said
" Who's the club's captain?" Gaillard ask
" It's Sendou-kun who sits beside you. The club is in the Physics room. So if you would like to join, I'll tell their teacher." The class president said
" Sure."
The class president left as Gaillard went over to the club room.
~ Inside the club room~
Aichi was forced to sit down after Misaki saw his pale and red face.
" It's really a fever... I wonder if it was because of yesterday's cold night... You better go home..." Misaki said
" I'm fine... I can still last for awhile..." Aichi said
" It's definitely not alright! You better go home! It's better that way!" Naoki said
" Yeah, Sendou-kun! You shouldn't push yourself too hard!" Shingo said
" I'm really fine..." Aichi said
The door opened as their club teacher entered.
" Good afternoon. We have a new student who wants to join our club today. Come in."
Gaillard entered.
" I'm Olivier Gaillard." Gaillard said
" It's you!" Naoki exclaimed
" Who's he?" Misaki ask
" He's a transfer student in our class." Shingo replied
" If you want to join our club, you need to beat one of us." Kourin said
" Sure."
Their teacher left to settle some more work as Naoki challenged Gaillard to a fight.
" Stand up, Vanguard!"
~ After the fight~
" I lost!" Naoki whined
" You're strong." Gaillard said
" Welcome to the club..." Aichi said
" Yeah."
Aichi wanted to stand up but ended up collapsing if not for Gaillard grabbing his hand in time.
" Aichi!"
" I think it's really better to bring him back home... Come on, Aichi. We're bringing you back home." Naoki said
" I'll help too." Gaillard said
" A-Alright..."
They managed to support Aichi as they brought him back to his house. On the way back, Gaillard was the one who led the whole way.
" We're here."
" How did you know where he lives?" Kourin ask
" That's because I moved in here with my other friends yesterday." Gaillard replied
" Huh?!"
" Ratie! Are you inside?! Neve, Sera!" Gaillard called
No response...
" Still suffering from jet lag I see..." Gaillard muttered
" Of all times for them to be out of the house..." Naoki said
The door suddenly opened as Ratie peeked her head out.
" Gaillard! What took you so long?!" Ratie ask
" Don't ask yet, I'll explain later! Just let us in first!" Gaillard said
" Okay."
She opened the door as they went up to Aichi's room and settled him down.
" What happened?" Ratie ask
" He's having a very high fever..." Gaillard replied
" Now that I think about it... Yesterday night was quite cold... I wonder if he caught a cold while he went out..." Ratie wondered
" I guess so... Anyway, we need to lower his fever somehow..." Gaillard said
" He's sweating so much. We better change him out of his uniform. Come on, guys. Get his pajamas and change his clothes already." Misaki said
" C-Change him?! I've never done that before!" Naoki said
" M-Me too! I-I can't do it!" Shingo said
" Don't look at me!" Gaillard said
" Neve and Sera are still asleep too." Ratie said
" Those two always do that whenever they ride a plane..." Gaillard muttered
" I got it!" Naoki said
He dialed a number.
" Yo! Um... We need your help... Come to this address right now. Why? Aichi's sick and we don't know how to change his clothes... Thanks! We'll see you later!" Naoki said
He turned off his phone as he had a grin on his face.
" I think I have a guess to who he called." Misaki said
" Me too..." Kourin said
~ After awhile~
The doorbell rang as Naoki opened the door. It was Kai and Miwa!
" Yo! Thanks for coming to help! Takamina and Yuuko were not home so we have some problems." Naoki said
" Hmph."
" His clothes are on his table. After you help him to change, then you just come down and tell us. Thanks again!" Naoki thanked
Kai went up the stairs as Naoki and Miwa sat at the living room with the others. Kai opened the door to Aichi's bedroom and went to sit on Aichi's bed.
" I'm just going to change your clothes. Just be patient." Kai said
He got Aichi up as he heard his heavy breathing on his shoulder and removed his uniform. He then took his pajamas and put it on for Aichi. But while he was doing Aichi's pants, he was totally blushing, trying to look away from Aichi and preventing a nosebleed from occurring. Finally, his pants were put on as Kai heaved a silent sigh of relief. He placed Aichi back down and tucked him in with his blanket and went down to the living room to call the others, only to find Naoki and Miwa laughing softly and clutching their stomachs on the couch. He went over and gave a smack to their heads.
" Ow!"
" I'm done changing him." Kai said
" Thanks, Kai." Misaki said
" Hmph."
" I wonder if he's hungry... He didn't eat a single thing today..." Shingo said
Kai walked into the kitchen as the others wondered what he was doing.
" Go and try to lower his temperature down while I'm doing this." Kai said
" Y-Yeah..."
They went up as Misaki found a cloth and wiped Aichi's sweat away.
" I'm going to go get some cold water for him. And get those two to help..." Gaillard said
" Yeah..."
He exited the room as awhile later, they heard a yell.
" Wake up! Stop sleeping already! I need your help!"
" Woah... He's quite loud..." Naoki said
" Y-Yeah..."
Gaillard entered with a pail of ice water after that. Kourin dipped another cloth into the water, squeezed it a little dry and placed it neatly on Aichi's forehead.
" Like this, I think it can bring his fever down." Kourin said
But not long after, Aichi moved his head to the side, making the cloth slip off his head.
" Aichi, I know it's cold but you'll have to bear with it." Misaki said
She took the cloth and her eyes widened.
" The cloth's warm... It's not cold like before." Misaki said
" That fast?!" Naoki exclaimed
Misaki dipped the cloth in the water again as she moved Aichi's head back to the original position and placed the cloth on his head.
" This is all we can do for now..." Misaki said
" By the way, where's Takamina-san and Yuuko-san?" Gaillard ask
" They said that they needed to go out on a trip for three days to visit someone, so we need to take care of Aichi-kun for the three days." Ratie replied
" I see..."
The door opened as Kai stood there.
" Hey. I made dinner downstairs. Go and eat some." Kai said
" Thank you, Kai." Miwa said
" But who'll take care of Aichi while we're having dinner?" Naoki ask
Kai just ignored the question and walked over to Aichi as the others discussed about it.
" I'll take care of him then." Kourin said
But they didn't notice Kai was struggling against something at Aichi's bed as he sweat dropped and desperately trying to break free.
" Hey... Help me..." Kai said
They turned their heads to him as they went over to the bed. They couldn't believe their eyes at what they were seeing. Aichi was holding onto Kai's hand and not letting go. The grip was so firm and strong that Kai couldn't even break free of it even when Aichi was sick. The others tried to help Kai as well but it didn't work.
" I think he just decided who will take care of him..." Kourin said
" Alright... Help me to get Aichi's dinner up here..." Kai said
" Okay."
They went down as Naoki came up awhile later with Aichi's dinner as he set it down on the table.
" I'll go down then." Naoki said
Kai just ignored him as he exited the room. Kai managed to break free from Aichi's grip as he prepared to feed him.
" Kai-kun... Kai-kun..." Aichi muttered
" I'm here. Don't worry. I'm right here." Kai said
He helped Aichi to sit up as Aichi opened his eyes to see him.
" Here. Eat something. You'll feel better that way." Kai said
" I'm not hungry..." Aichi said
" But you still need to eat something to recover. Come on, I'll feed you a little." Kai said
Aichi hesitated but opened his mouth as Kai fed him the food. He tried it a few more times before Aichi stopped eating.
" I'm sorry..." Aichi said
" It's okay. You're sick after all." Kai said
He set him back down on the pillow again as Aichi fell asleep. Kai fell back onto the chair close by as he fell asleep as well.
~ The next day~
Kai woke up from someone shaking him awake. It was Naoki.
" What is it, Ishida...?" Kai ask
" Where's Aichi?" Naoki ask
Kai looked over to the bed but Aichi was missing.
" The others are looking for him, but we thought you might know where he is." Naoki said
" I'll go look with you." Kai said
" Here's the problem..." Naoki said
Kai raised an eyebrow and followed him down as he saw the others looking around the house.
" What's going on down here...?" Kai ask
" We found a lot of secret doors in this place... secret compartments, drawers and even rooms. We even found a library, who knows how they built them though." Naoki said
" Hurry and help us find him, Kai!" Misaki shouted
" Y-Yeah..."
He joined in the search as he noticed Neve and Sera joining in the search too.
" Have you found him?" Miwa ask
" No. All I found is more drawers." Misaki said
" I found more compartments." Ratie said
" Nothing at my side." Gaillard said
" So no one found him? Jeez... Where'd he go...?" Miwa said
They sighed. Kai walked over to a shelf after noticing something sticking out of it. He pushed it back in place, only to have the shelf move and revealing a secret tunnel. They gathered in front of the tunnel as they looked each other and nodded. They walked down the steps as they heard some music as they approached closer to a light at the end of the tunnel. Expecting something at the end of the tunnel, they ran there but all they saw was water.
" Seems like we have to swim there." Kourin said
She pointed to another entrance as they nodded and dived into the water before swimming to the other entrance. When they entered the entrance, they continued to walk further into the tunnel until they finally got closer and closer to the music. When they peeked into the light, a figure was there, dancing and singing but they couldn't see who that was because of the light.
" I can't see the face... Who is that...?" Gaillard ask
" I don't know... But aren't we supposed to be looking for Aichi-dono here?" Neve ask
" You're right! Where is he?" Ratie wondered
" I'm not sure... But there's nothing but light here..." Sera said
" What should we do...?" Naoki ask
" Ask that person over there for help?" Shingo ask
" Are you crazy?! Why did you think this place was a secret for?!" Misaki ask
" Should we ask?" Kourin ask
" Well, you try." Miwa said
" Are you crazy?! And why me?!" Kai ask
" Just go!" Naoki said
Kai tched and went over to the figure. He was shocked when he saw the figure. The figure was equally shocked as he backed away and ran further into the cave.
" Wait!" Kai shouted
He ran after him as the others tried to follow, but the bright light denied them from going further.
" Kai!"
Kai continued to run after the figure as they entered another tunnel. Transparent white ribbons sparkled as the figure continued running away from Kai. Kai parted the white ribbons like a curtain as he continued to chase after the figure. When they've arrived at a space like a galaxy filled with stars, Kai grabbed his arm as the figure turned behind to see him. It was Aichi.
" What are you doing down here?" Kai ask
" It's training... I can't stay in bed for too long..." Aichi replied
" But you are still recovering! Come on, let's go back upstairs!" Kai said
" I can't. I need to keep training." Aichi said
" The more you train, the more exhausted you get! Come on! I'm getting you back up to rest!" Kai said
" No. I need to keep training." Aichi said
" Stop forcing yourself! You need rest right now! Go back up with me!" Kai said
" I can't... Please, let me go..." Aichi said
Kai turned him around and kissed him as Aichi's eyes grew wide before closing them and falling asleep. Kai broke the kiss as he caught Aichi. He carried him up on his back and took him back up to where the others were waiting.
" What happened back there?" Miwa ask
" He had fainted down there. The figure had led me to him. But he needs rest, so I need help to bring him up to this room." Kai said
" Okay."
He went up the stairs as the shelf to the underground tunnel closed and the others waited at the living room. Kai settled Aichi down as he placed a cloth over his forehead. Aichi woke up at the cloth's touch.
" Kai-kun..." Aichi said
" You alright?" Kai ask
" Yes..." Aichi replied
" Then that's a relief. What were you thinking? Training when you're still recovering? We can't have that happening. Think about your health for once." Kai said
" Yeah..."
Kai looked over to him, resisting the urge to kiss him again.
" Aichi. I'm going to go down now. You just lie down and sleep." Kai said
" Wait..."
Aichi grabbed his wrist as Kai looked over to him.
" Please don't leave. Stay by my side for awhile." Aichi said
" But I need to go down to prepare lunch." Kai said
" After that, can you come up to stay beside me? Please?" Aichi said
" Alright... Just rest. I'll come up later." Kai said
Aichi nodded as Kai went down to cook lunch.
~ At night~
Kai was sleeping beside Aichi as he looked on at the sleeping boy. Kai wondered why Aichi would want Kai to be right beside him. Was it because of the smaller boy's illness or his insecurity? Aichi shifted a little in his sleep and held onto Kai's shirt. No matter the reason, Kai was happier than he could ever be with Aichi by his side. Kai pulled up the blanket on the two of them as he patted Aichi's head. Kai had noticed, that his feelings escalated whenever he was around the smaller boy, his heart would beat wildly and his thoughts would be filled with Aichi's face. Now, being beside the one he loves, was a dream come true. He put his arm around Aichi's shoulder as he fell asleep with a smile on his face.
Kii appeared on the table lamp as he stared at the two. Glad as he was that Aichi was finally looking for someone, he's worried at the same time. Glancing at the couple for a good one minute at their sleeping forms, he looked up to the moon.
" Aichi has the Rainbow Jewel. At the same time, he needs to find someone who would protect him and look after him. Although it looks like he has chosen Toshiki Kai, it worries me that Kai still doesn't have a Kirara. But with Aichi so attached to him like that, I can't defy his decision. Kai has feelings for Aichi, that's the point I believe in that he'll take good care of Aichi. But because his Wings have yet to appear, I'm afraid that in the future battles, he'll be struggling to keep up.
The reason why Aichi needed to find a partner was because of insecurity, and whatever troubles he'll get into, that partner will always come to his aid. Now that they've started to bond, that bond is going to last for an eternity and it'll connect them both. Kai. Take care of Aichi properly. He trusts in you so much not because you're his idol, but because he loves you deeply and at the bottom of his heart, he'll forever love you. I know you're the same too. Please, I'm putting my trust in you, Kai. Make sure Aichi doesn't fall into the wrong hands. I believe in you too since I've been part of Aichi as his Kirara this whole time, I know his heart more than you do. Don't break it. Then, I'll leave him to you, however I'll still watch over him. Love him with all your heart and protect him with all your might. I trust you with him, Kai. Don't disappoint me." Kii thought
He went into a drawer where Aichi made a bed for him as he fell asleep. A mark appeared on Kai's hand and Aichi's forehead as they disappeared, signifying their bond with each other.
