When Adam sat back down Mrs Potts and her team quickly walked in with the starters to our meal; and we all went on to have a lovely meal together. For our starter we had salmon mousse choux pastries. They were in the shape of small fishes that were filled with a light mousse of both fresh and smoked salmon. For our main meal we had Ratatouille, which is a hot vegetable stew that consisted of zucchini, onions, green peppers, garlic and tomatoes. Finally for our desert we had Clafoutis, which is a baked dessert covered in black cherries. It was arranged in buttered disc and covered with a thin flan-like batter.

After we had finished our food Ben slid his chair closer to mine and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled up at him and I rested my head against his shoulder and I rested both of my hands against his chest. However when it became too uncomfortable I decided that I needed to change things up; so with this thought in mind I slowly and carefully stood up.

"Where are you going?" Ben asked in confusion.

"Nowhere" I smiled.

"What?" he questioned in further concern; rather than answering him I climbed into his lap. "Oh" he muttered as he wrapped his arms around me. "I see" he smirked as I wrapped my right arm around his neck as I rested my left hand against his chest. "Anything to be closer to me" he teased.

"Always" I smiled. "Anyway-" I began. "This is more comfortable that having them wooden arms between us" I said with a large smirk.

"Definitely" he purred as he snuggled his face into my chest. "Hmmm" he purred again as he looked up at me. "I love you" he said lovingly.

"I love you too" I answered lovingly as I cupped the right hand side of his face with my left hand. We sat gazing lovingly into each other's eyes for a few seconds before Ben crushed his lips against mine and we shared a long and loving kiss. When we broke apart I rested my head against Ben's and we gave into just sitting happily like this.

"There's no point telling you to stop manhandling my sister in front of me?" I heard a voice say and when me and Ben both looked over to Carlos we saw a smirk spreading across his face.

"No" Ben answered as he rested his right arm onto my left hip. "But to be fair Carlos" he added. "This is the worst it will get, I promise" He finished sincerely.

"Good" he winked at us both before he returned back to his previous conversation with Evie and Jay.

"Let me guess Beast-" I began. "The manhandling will happen later" I flirted. "Away from prying eyes" I winked at him.

"Well I can't manhandle you too much" He muttered at me as he brushed his nose against mine.

"Why not?" I asked as I pulled one brow up in confusion at him. "I might want to be" I stated.

"Yes" he chuckled as he reached up and cupped the left hand side of my face. "But you are injured" he reminded me.

"Yes Ben" I nodded as I started to feel playful. "But you are forgetting something" I said coyly.

"What?" he smiled at me.

"There are many positions we can get in where I'm not leaning on my leg" I winked at him.

"Oh!" he breathed. "You devious fairy!" he exclaimed before he pressed a brief kiss against my lips.

"You know it is true" I chuckled.

"Yep" he muttered and our lips gravitated towards each other and we shared another long and loving kiss. However I couldn't help but note that this time no one stopped us or made any comments. When I looked at our families I noticed that they were now actually stood in one group - which showed how unobservant me and Ben were currently being.

"When you two have quite finished" Adam teased.

"What?" Ben asked, causing everyone to chuckle at us.

"I'm going to set up the fire pit" Adam advised. "Thought we could sit around there for a short while" he suggested.

"Please" Ben smiled. "We'll see you along there in a few minutes" he advised. "There is something that I need to talk to Mal about" he advised.

"Ok" Adam stated and they all started to leave the tent; however just before Evie left she quickly smirked at me and Ben.

"Should I be worried?" I questioned as I looked back down at Ben.

"You tell me" he stated. "You said you needed time to think" he said and I noticed a playful glint entering his eyes.

"Really Ben?" I teased as he started to run the fingers of his right hand up and down my left thigh. "This is about my running away joke?" I chuckled.

"Well yes and no" he stated mock seriously. "You said you wanted to talk about it; and I honestly just wanted to steal a few private moments away with you" he admitted.

"I see" I noted. "So any excuse?" I teased.

"Something like that" he chuckled.

"Hmm" I hummed. "Well let's not waste time then" I flirted.

"No" he grinned before pulling me back to him and he pressed his lips eagerly against mine. I smiled against his lips as I snaked my arms around his neck as his arms entrapped my waist and held me tightly against him. As minutes ticked by our kisses began to get messy with our hands roaming each other; which was currently making my heart pound and stomach flutter. I still couldn't get over how me and Ben were currently being with each other; but I put this down to us now being engaged and signing our marriage contract. Yes I knew that this would obviously make us feel closer; but I never anticipated how it would make us both feel. As we both pulled away when our lungs ached from starvation I watched as Ben seemed very happy at the fact that we were having some alone time together.

"We need to stop" I panted. "Before things get out of hand" I added.

"Yes" he breathed. "Sadly" he sighed as he rested his forehead against mine. "Mal I didn't think I could love you any more; but I am just so in love with you in this moment" He said lovingly as he gazed into my eyes.

"I know Benny" I smiled as I brushed my nose against his. "I feel the same" I admitted. "I thought I loved you yesterday; but it is nothing compared to how I feel now" I muttered happily.

"Oh Mal" he breathed.

"Oh Ben" I returned before I pressed my lips against his once more. It didn't take long before I felt Ben's arms tighten around me; so in response to this I tightened my arms around his neck. Our kiss continued to heat up as our bodies moved slowly against each other; and I could tell by the way me and Ben's hands were clinging to each other we were getting really riled up. When the familiar ache started to assault our lungs we pulled apart and cuddled back together.

"So I take it you don't want to run away" he teased as he interlocked the fingers of his right hand into my left.

"Never" I smiled before pressing a kiss against the top of his head. "I could never be without you" I added as I started to run the fingers of my right hand into his hair.

"Likewise" he agreed. "We should probably go and join the others" he sighed.

"Yes" I sighed back. This wasn't meant to sound disrespectful to our family; and even though I was enjoying our time this evening with them - but right now I just wanted to be with Ben.

"Do you need me to carry you?" he offered.

"I don't really know how to answer that question" I stated as I tried to push away the ball of lust that was trying to form within me.

"How so?" he asked.

"I could manage a very slow limp to our family" I advised. "But why turn down a Beastie Back?" I winked at him. "Means I don't have to take my hands off you" I flirted.

"Well it's settled" he chuckled; and I slowly climbed off his lap and he slowly stood up. He then slowly crouched down and we mirrored out actions from before.

"Giddy up Beast!" I teased; as we started to make our way out of the tent.

"Ha!" he laughed and I giggled as I continued to feel playful.

"I'm only teasing you" I purred as I pressed a kiss against the back of his neck.

"Just you wait til later" He chuckled.

"Ok" I stated innocently as a smirk spread across my face. "Well let this be the start of it" I grinned as an idea came to me.

"Wha-" he started but cut off as I licked the back of his neck; where I had kissed him a few moments before.

"1-0" I muttered smugly into his right ear.

"No you didn't!" he exclaimed in shock.

"Yes I did" I giggled before pressing a kiss against his left cheek.

"Mal you need to be careful" he groaned.

"How so?" I asked innocently.

"We haven't even left the tent yet" he told me as he stood still.

"So?" I shrugged.

"If you keep it up I'll have you on the table" he purred; and I felt my stomach suddenly tighten in lust.

"Hmm" I hummed. "And we wouldn't want that would we?" I sang suggestively.

"Mally!" he whined.

"Ok" I sighed. "I'll play good" I told him. "But only because any one of our family could find us" I added; as I started to imagine what might happen if me and Ben were found in the middle of us making love.

"Yes!" he exclaimed. "Even though we have been caught out by my parents and nearly Evie, I don't know how your brothers would react if they came looking for us and found us getting busy" he stated. "I could only imagine their reaction!" he exclaimed again, which caused me to giggle again. "Let me guess your thinking about it" I heard him say as he carried me out of the tent.

"Yes" I confirmed. "But so are you" I accused.

"Yep!" he said smugly. "So I need to be careful" he continued.

"Yes" I replied. "We don't want anyone seeing my not so little friend" I teased as I kissed his neck again as our family came into view.

"Here they are!" Jay sang.

"We nearly sent a search party" Carlos teased.

"Yeah" Evie said mock seriously. "But we didn't know whether it would be safe" she winked at me and Ben.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Ben teased.

"Well-" Carlos stated. "You have been all over each other tonight so Lucifer knows what we would have found" he smirked at us.

"We can keep it together!" I urged before I moved my mouth to Ben's right ear. "For now" I muttered as he stood still. He didn't say anything however after he slowly helped me down onto the floor he turned around and winked at me.

"So what's next?" I questioned as I sat down next to Evie as Ben sat down on my right hand side.

"Nothing" Belle answered. "Just enjoy each other's company" she added as me and Ben wrapped our arms around each other. I then smiles at my family; and as I started to enjoy the view of their faces in the dim fire light I started to think about how lucky I am. Lucky to have the friends and family that I have, and most importantly to have Ben. My beautiful, handsome and currently riled up Beast.

Adam and Belle then stated that part of their family tradition was to sit around the fire and tell stories about the married couple. Even though I was a little bit nervous at the fact I didn't know what stories E, Jay and Carlos were going to tell; I couldn't lie and say that I was eager to find out more about Ben. I loved finding things out about Ben; as I loved him so much I wanted to know everything about him - and I knew he felt the same way about me.

It was at this point where Adam decided to tell the first story; and I watched as Ben began to get a little bit nervous - however to reassure him I pressed a kiss against his left cheek. We both shared a smile before looking over to Adam when we heard to start talking.

*Flashback*

*Adam's POV*

It was around half hour; and I was sitting in my office waiting for Ben to come home. I know that he was on a picnic date with Audrey; but he promised me that he would be back around now as I had some work for him to do. It was getting closer to his coronation so I was hoping to get Ben more involved before he took the crown.

I smiled as I heard Chip talk to Ben as he walked into the main hall; however I pulled one brow up in confusion as he didn't come straight in my office. So when enough time had passed for me to know that he hadn't come to see me; I stood up and walked out of my office.

"Chip?" I said in confusion.

"Yes Your Majesty" he replied politely as he turned to look at me.

"Has Ben just walked in here?" I enquired.

"Yes" he confirmed. "He's just gone upstairs" he added. "I'm guessing his date has went well" he grinned.

"What makes you say that?" I asked.

"He's all loved up" Chip replied before he chuckled at me.

"Ok" I nodded; and I quickly turned and ran up the stairs. I began to fall into confusion; I knew that things were going well between Audrey and Belle - but I had never seen or heard that Ben act like this.

"Ben!" I called as I walked into his bedroom; I quickly looked around the room to see him looking out of the window, with his back to me. "Ben!" I called again, and I started to fall into a further panic and concern at the fact that he still hadn't answered me. "Ben!" I shouted as I stood on his right hand side.

"Hmmm" he grunted as he slowly looked up at me. However when he did this I noticed a warm smile that I hadn't seen on his face before; and there was also a happy glow in his eyes that I had never seen. "Is something wrong?" he asked; and I couldn't help but note that the happiness didn't leave his face.

"You tell me" I stated. "You''re acting strange" I told him.

"Strange?" he muttered in confusion.

"Yes" I confirmed. "Did your date go ok with Audrey?" I questioned, hoping to find out what had my son in this overjoyed mood.

"Audrey?" he muttered. "Oh" he nodded. "Her" he continued as if he were only talking to himself. "No" he stated as he shook his head. I watched as something changed in his eyes; and I could tell that something had really been bothering him. However before I could open my mouth to question on this; he spoke, stopping me in my tracks. "Father is it possible to love two people at the same time?" he questioned sincerely. "Even if one love is more profound than the other" he added.

"It is possible to love more than one person" I confirmed. "But you can't treat women like that Ben" I stated, hoping that Ben wasn't the type of person who would string women along - I thought me and Belle had brought him up a lot better than that.

"I know that" he advised. "I don't want to treat Mal or Audrey like that" he insisted.

"Mal?" I asked in confusion. What had Maleficent's daughter have to do with this? She had only arrived today; and apparently she was causing problems already! I knew that bringing four VK's to Auradon was a bad idea!

"Yes Mal" he nodded; and I watched as the loving look entered his eyes what more.

"What about Audrey?" I insisted; Ben and Audrey have been a couple for nearly two years now. Queen Leah had even approached me and Belle to start putting plans in place for an Adams and Beauty rule. Something that we both felt a little bit uneasy about - as Queen Leah has been wanting the crown of Auradon for many years.

"I love her" I heard Ben say which broke me out of my train of thought. "But I'm not in love with her" he clarified. "She doesn't make me feel the way Mal does" he grinned; and I could tell that he was thinking about Mal.

"You've just met her" I stated.

"Yes" he chuckled. "Greatest moment of my live" he smiled lovingly at me. I really didn't know what to think of this; but I did know one thing - maybe Maleficent's daughter coming to Auradon wasn't such a bad thing after all.

After hearing Adam's story I couldn't help but get overwhelmed at this; so I cuddled tightly into Ben. I felt him press a kiss against the top of my head, causing me to look at him. As we gazed lovingly into each other's eyes I couldn't help but note that Adam had chosen to keep the next part of the conversation to himself. As I would bet any amount of money that Adam and Ben then spoke about him imprinting on me. Yes I loved Evie, Jay and Carlos dearly, but it would appear that this secret could only be an Adams thing - something that I couldn't wait to become a part of.

"As you can see my love-" he started. "It has always been you" he smiled happily.

"It has always been you" I repeated back to him; I watched as my favourite crooked smile spread across his face.

"Now it's my turn" I heard Belle say, and me and Ben both looked over to her. And I couldn't help but note the loving smile that was currently spread across her face.

*Flashback*

*Belle's POV*

It was family day; and we had just seen Ben and the other Auradon Kid's do their musical entrance. I was so proud of Ben! He was going to be the King that me and his father had hoped for. However even I could see that there was something on his mind; others may not be able to tell but I knew my son.

"That was lovely" I said warmly as I pulled Ben into a tight hug after he stepped up to me. We then watched as our royal photographer stepped forward; and the three of us stood together.

"Oh by the way I have a new girlfriend!" Ben announced happily.

"Oh" I muttered. "I never wanted to say anything-" I continued. "But I always thought that Audrey was a little self absorbed" I admitted. This was the truth; I did think that she was self absorbed - probably down to the training given from her Grandmother. "Fake smile, kind of a kiss up" I finished.

"Do we know your new girlfriend?" I heard Adam ask and I couldn't help but throw him a look. Adam had told me about his conversation with Ben yesterday; surely he knew who Ben was talking about now? However when we both shared a quick glance I now understood; he didn't want to assume anything, he was trying to be polite.

"One, two, three-" the royal photographer counted.

"Sort of" Ben answered; and I watched as his eyes lit up. "Mal" he stated happily as he waved over to a purple haired girl, who waved back at him. I then watched as Mal said something to a blue haired girl before starting to walk towards us.

I let a gasp escape from my mouth; Ben was in relationship with Maleficent's daughter! Maleficent's daughter of all people! Did he not know how this was going to look? Going from Audrey to Mal like this? However before I could fixate on this any further I was abruptly taken out of my train of thought when Ben stepped forward.

"Mal" Ben stated. "Mal!" he called out happily as she walked up to him. "I want to introduce you to my parents" Ben told her happily.

"Ok" Mal nodded as Ben eagerly pulled Mal into a hug. I then watched as they stepped apart and turned around; before Ben sliding his right hand into Mal's left

"This is Mal" Ben announced as Mal placed her right hand against the crease of his elbow. "From the Isle" he continued. "My girlfriend" he announced proudly; before he looked down lovingly at Mal.

"Hi" Mal muttered nervously.

"Hi" I answered politely as Adam waved nervously at Mal.

"I was thinking that maybe she could join us for lunch?" Ben suggested.

"Of course" Adam answered. "Any friend of Ben's" he offered.

"I" Mal stuttered. "Er-" she continued. "Actually came with my friends" she advised as she turned and pointed over to her friends.

"Oh" I muttered. "Well you should invite them" I offered as I looked over to see a blue haired girl holding Dude, and there was two boys stood waving at us - with their faces covered in chocolate. "Because the more the merrier!" I sang happily.

"Ok" Mal smiled happily."I'll go grab them" she advised.

"How about a game of crochet before lunch?" Adam suggested.

"Of course" Mal smiled again.

"GAME ON!" Ben sang happily; and I watched as my husband and son fist bumped. I then watched as Mal and Ben then dropped each other's hands before turning around with Ben's right arm around Mal's shoulders. "Have you played before?" I heard him ask her as they began to walk away from us. When their backs were to us I suddenly felt myself go weak in Adam's arms; but thankfully he was able to catch me.

"I now see what you mean-" I began as I stood up straight.

"Yes" Adam smiled at me.

"It is more clearer now I see them together" I advised happily. "The Beauty and his Beast" I smiled as I threw a loving look over to Ben and Mal as they walked up to Mal's friends. "Everything that we have ever wanted" I stated happily.

"Everything that we have ever wanted" Adam repeated happily as we both looked back over to Ben and his new girlfriend - the new royal couple.
