Special milk

"Tommy no!"

Tommy gasped at his mommy's voice as she grabbed the bottle of milk out of his hand.

Why was she mad at him? He thought she encouraged sharing.

"I'm sorry sweetie but your sister can't drink your bottle as it'll hurt her tummy," Didi explained. "That's why she gets different milk."

Now that Tommy thought about it, he had seen the different milk that morning when his mommy was feeding Trixie while his daddy was cleaning him up from breakfast but never thought it was for her.

That was until Didi took his bottle away as a realization came to him.

He almost hurt Trixie. He almost hurt her by giving her his bottle.

Tommy felt his lower lip trembl, starting to cry as Didi took him in her arms and hugged him.

"It's okay sweetie you didn't know," Didi shushed, patting his back. She watched as Tommy stopped crying and sniffed. "But I forgive you and so does Trixie."

She held him for a few more minutes before putting him down as Trixie looked at him, giving him a toothless smile.

"Is everything okay Deed?" Stu asked, having heard Tommy cry.

Didi nodded, smiling warmly. "Tommy made a little mistake by giving Trixie his bottle and he got upset when I took it away from him but he's feeling better now."

"Does he know not to do it again?"

Stu and Didi looked down, hearing Tommy babble as Trixie reached out for him.

That confirmed their answer as their hearts melted at the sight of their son showing his affection towards his little sister.

Tommy was always a loving person towards anyone and it seemed like Trixie was no exception to that love.

Whether he was her big brother or not.
