Screams of people fighting could be heard, flashes could be seen as spells and enchantments erupted from wands and collided with each other, explosions of spells could be perceived as they hit rocks and walls. The stone floor was now wet with the blood of the wounded and the dead that lay among the rubble of the castle. This was the atmosphere of the second wizarding war that was leaving Hogwarts castle in ruins.

In the midst of all this chaos, she listened and felt her breathing fast, desperate and worried in the middle of the battle, feeling the need to locate Harry, who was currently facing Voldemort.

The chosen one was now in an intense duel against Voldemort, when the latter had realized that his end had come, he decided after so long wishing to kill the boy who lived, that he could not die without fulfilling his objective. Before he finally perished, he raised his wand in one last effort and cast another powerful curse at his greatest enemy, landing it on the boy's chest.

The brunette had turned towards him, seeing the curse hit Harry's chest from the other side where she was. She began to feel her body tremble, as she saw Harry fly away with his back to the impact of the ray of light, which is why even with the tremor in her body, the fear and despair, she finds herself trying to run towards him as she did so. She could see him falling to the ground in slow motion, but for some reason her feet didn't move.

"No…" the girl had said in a sigh that left her breathless, feeling that they were snatching her heart.

After what seemed like hours for her without being able to move and feeling that she had stopped breathing for a moment, as she was trying to understand what had happened, it couldn't be true that she had just witnessed the death of the love of her life. Then she began to move without realizing that in desperation, she had begun to scream and run with all her legs and lungs would give her , pushing aside people who were in her way, because she needed to get to Harry.

It was seconds later, when she saw that Harry was lying motionless on the stone floor, his wand had fallen several steps away from him and this scared the brunette even more, who continued with her desperate attempts to reach him.

"NO! HARRY!" She screamed desperately at the top of her lungs, as she ran and bumped into people, separating them from her path. "HARRY!" Her screams had begun to tear her throat, which at that time she didn't care, she needed to reach her boyfriend.

Remus Lupin had heard Hermione's screams of horror and despair, followed the path in the direction of her gaze and realized that Harry had fallen. Thinking that at that moment he was already dead and seeing that there was still crossfire, the former professor tried to stop Hermione, catching her tightly in his arms while she struggled and screamed desperately, without being aware of who was holding her, until she managed break free of him and keep running towards Harry.

Meanwhile, the jet having impacted strongly against the stone floor, felt as if his head was about to explode, a torrent of images began to pass through his mind. At this point he was already aware that he would die, because he was no longer a horcrux when Voldemort's curse hit him and therefore his mind was haunting him.

''Hermione… he couldn't say goodbye to the love of his life. He would never see her again, for he was slowly dying. He couldn't marry her and see her walk down the aisle to him, they wouldn't be able to form the family they wanted so badly. He wouldn't see Ron again either. His two best friends whom he loved so much, the two most important people in his life, who had risked their lives for him. How I wish I could say goodbye." These were the thoughts running through Harry's mind.

While all this went through the green-eyed man's head, a dull thud interrupted his thoughts, realizing that his girlfriend fell to her knees next to him and her face was red and swollen from crying. This was another thing he couldn't stand, seeing his Hermione cry her eyes out for him.

The girl reached him and in a single blow dropped to her knees, raising his head to support it with her hands, while the rest of his body was on her legs. Seeing him and realizing that little by little he was losing the shine in his eyes, she began to cry more disconsolately, knowing that she would lose him forever, however, the last thing she would do was give up, so with her wand in her hands she now shaking more due to fear and her desperation, she began to try to revive Harry.

"Rennervate!" She said with her voice trembling from terror and crying. She tried twice more, until she felt Harry's hand take her wand-holding hand, causing her to look up, understanding that he was trying to stop her and tell her the spell wasn't going to work.

"Mione… look at me" the green- eyed man barely managed to articulate "you have to move on, you're going to fall in love again and you'll have wonderful children. Never forget that I love you" Harry said in his breathy voice.

"No, Harry, don't say that. You'll be fine" Hermione sobbed as she took one of the boy 's hands with her left hand and leaned towards his ear. "We are going to be parents, you have to live," she confessed, trying by all possible and impossible means to make Harry stay with her.

They had been a couple since their sixth year and in the tent, the time they had been alone during the search for horcruxes, they had given themselves to each other, body and soul. The brunette had plans to tell him when the war was over and they both survived, but the situation had changed her plans.

"I... I was going to tell you at the end of the war, when we were at peace, but..." the brunette got stuck with her words and couldn't continue, beginning to cry louder "Don't leave me, Harry, please," she begged between sobs, placing one of his hands on her belly.

One thing Harry couldn't bear was Hermione's heartbreak for him. He could feel the fear she felt at that moment and there was really nothing he wanted more than to stay by her side and raise their child together, but now it was too late and there was no way to stay.

"Listen to me. You will be an excellent mother. Tell our son or daughter that I love him and will love him forever. I will take care of him or her from wherever I am going to be. I love you Hermione" Harry said, with a slight smile on his lips, while doing his best, he raised a hand and wiped away a tear that was sliding down the brunette's cheek.

"I love you," she said, gently stroking his messy black hair with her hand. She leaned over him and kissed his lips gently, feeling him kiss her back. When she separated from him, she saw him close his eyes slowly. She leaned over him again and kissed his scar. Harry was gone.

"I love you. I will always love you," Hermione repeated, her voice breaking from crying and she hugged Harry to her chest, wishing that what was happening was just a terrible nightmare.

In an instant she was bent over him sobbing and a moment later, she let out a piercing scream that was heard around the entire castle, causing the foundations of it to tremble at the overflow of her magic and some windows of the castle to finish exploding. Her heart had been taken in the worst way possible.

Hearing Hermione's terrifying scream, the rest of the people around her slowly approached and raised their wands to the sky. Ron had shuffled over and seeing her kneeling and crying with her best friend in her arms, he fell to his knees next to Hermione, sobbing and throwing his arms around her shoulders in comfort, though no words or actions could comfort her at that moment, because both had lost their best friend, but she had also lost the love of her life.

Harry Potter was dead.

….

Nine months later, Hermione was about to give birth to her twins, while her mother held her hand trying to reassure her, because she was heartbroken crying and thinking about Harry, how much she missed him and how much she would have liked to have him at her side in that special moment and see their children born together.

As the midwife instructed her to start pushing, she began to have memories of her life, of when she met Harry, of the whole journey of their friendship, the adventures they had shared, how they had fallen in love, the first time they gave each other the each other and when sadly the moment of their farewell came, when she confessed her pregnancy to him and just at the moment in which Harry would leave, the cry of the first baby was heard, which brought her back to reality.

As she began to push to deliver the other baby, she closed her eyes tightly and swore she saw a silvery light that flashed briefly, the shape of a deer, which as it passed made her feel Harry's presence in her heart, giving her the strength to give the last push with which she gave birth to a little girl.

She was exhausted and had lain on the bed, while the midwife walked towards her with the twins in her arms so that Hermione could carry them for the first time. She handed the older twin over to Mrs. Granger to help Hermione settle in with the little girl, and then the brunette's mother settled her son's grandson into her daughter's free arm.

When she had the twins with her, apparently the babies had felt their mother's warmth and both decided to slowly open their eyes, leaving a stunned Hermione to see the beautiful emerald green eyes of both of them, which made the brunette begin to cry with nostalgia, seeing the love of her life reflected in the eyes of her children.

"Harry…" Hermione said in a whisper, not taking her eyes off the children's precious eyes.

Five years later

At twenty-three, Hermione, after having given birth to her twins five years ago, had finished her studies at a Muggle university in the career she liked, which was law, and then entered the job that Kingsley he had offered her in the ministry, in the wizarding law department.

She had currently been working in the ministry for a year and a half, having joined the magical law enforcement department when she was nearing the end of her career. She also had the position of head of the law department for magical creatures, this position had been created recently and Kingsley knew she was the one for it.

So she had been able to finish her studies thanks to the help that her parents and the Weasleys had given her, in terms of taking care of the twins, while she prepared herself. When she left her classes, she picked up her children and went home with them. She had managed to buy a small apartment with the savings she had in her Gringotts account and with a little support from her parents, since at that time she still did not work.

Many of her children's needs were paid for with money from Harry's vault, since he had been clear and after insisting so much, she agreed to add her name to the green-eyed vault at Gringotts.

After the war and having lost Harry, the brunette asked Ronald to accompany her to Australia to reverse the enchantment and restore her parents' memory. She was very afraid that they would reject her, but she had to try, she needed them with her. I couldn't bear another loss.

When she wasn't staying for dinner with her parents or the Weasleys, she would come home, have dinner and play with her children for a while, since the children had obviously been fed by their grandparents, except for the weekends she took advantage of to spend the night whole day with the twins, she would take them with her to do her errands, and then they would pick up Teddy and Andromeda and go to the park to play. At the end of the day, they would come home, she would prepare dinner for them and then tuck them into their beds. Before putting them to sleep, the children always asked her to tell them the story of how she and her father had met and fallen in love. And in the end, she always gave them the message that he had left for both of them.

"Your father loved you and will always love you. He will always take care of you, from wherever he is" said the brunette, shedding a couple of tears "he died fighting for a better world for you" she told them, placing a kiss on their foreheads and tucking them in to sleep.

She had given birth to a beautiful set of twins: James Sirius and Lilly Rose Potter Granger. They were exactly the same in almost everything, since the only difference was the color of the hair. Lilly had gotten her red hair like her paternal grandmother, with slight brown highlights just like Hermione, while James had gotten completely brown hair, but both had messy hair like both of their parents. And those eyes, which had captivated the chestnut since she had seen them open their little eyes, both children had their father's eyes. Beautiful emerald green eyes, which reminded her of Harry every day.

As for Teddy, who spent some weekends at home with them, Hermione told him a little about her parents and also about Harry, about how Remus and Tonks had named her and Harry their godparents and they had all fought together in the war against Voldemort. "Your parents also fought for a better world for you and as your godmother, remember that you always have me here" The brunette leaned down and kissed Teddy's forehead as well.

Remus Lupin had died at the end of the war, killed by Antonin Dolohov and being the last of the four marauders to die, while his wife, Nymphadora Tonks, was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange, thus leaving their son, Teddy Lupin, in the hands of his godmother, Hermione Granger and her maternal grandmother, Andromeda Tonks.

After leaving them to sleep, she went to her room where she had a double bed in which she always left space next to her, as if keeping a memory of Harry. She dressed in her pijamas, brushed her teeth and got under the covers with a photo in her arms glued to her chest. She would spend a few minutes looking carefully at the photo and running her hands over it, while her tears slid down her cheeks, until she held the photo again and wrapped her arms around her chest, until she fell asleep.

On the nightstand that was located on the other side of the bed, she had placed the wand she had picked up from the floor and Harry's glasses, which she had repaired due to the fact that they always reminded her of their first moment when she composed the words for him glasses with an ''oculus reparo''. She had placed them on the table with a protective spell so that they would not get any damage, while in the cupboard she kept some of Harry's Quidditch jerseys, which she sometimes wore to sleep and for some reason these retained the essence of the boy with wide eyes green, or was it simply because with his clothes she felt him close to her.

As she fell asleep, she had never realized that, on several occasions, her children heard her cry and quietly peeked out the door. They had noticed that she fell asleep with a picture of her father and she hugged against her chest and sobbed repeating how much she loved and missed him.

She had spent five years depressed over the death of the love of her life.

In the morning when she went down to the kitchen to make breakfast, she would sit for a few minutes at the kitchen counter, sipping her coffee and looking at a picture of her and Harry and another one she had with him and their redheaded friend.

"I miss you so much, Harry". said the brunette, feeling a tear run down her cheek. She spent a few minutes like that, until she heard the little voices of her children coming down the stairs and she quickly wiped away her tears and continued making breakfast.

One night, after Hermione tucked the twins in, little Lilly had a dream that she met her father, Harry Potter.

When Lilly began to dream, she found herself in a strange and completely white place. She was a little scared and when she turned around, she realized that a man was walking towards her. She felt curious, because something inside her told her to run towards him, he had no intention of hurting her. So, she started walking towards the man who was slowly approaching.

She began to quicken her steps and when she was close enough, he looked into his eyes and her heart skipped a beat as she recognized her father.

"Dad?" She asked somewhat confused because she had only seen her father in photos and these photos showed the teenager he was when he died. She saw the man smile at that word.

The green-eyed nodded slowly crouching down and that was when Lilly finally ran the last distance to him and jumped into his arms, feeling her father lift her up and spin her in the air, wrapping her in his arms.

When he lowered her, they were still holding each other and Harry placed little kisses on her head.

"Dad, is that really you?" asked the little girl with tears in her eyes, some that Harry hastened to wipe away with his fingers.

"Yes, it's me princess," answered the green-eyed smiling.

"How come you are here? Can you come back with us?" Lilly asked excitedly, unaware that her father couldn't come back.

"No princess, I can't go back. I left that world five years ago. But I left knowing that it would be a better world for you and your brother" Harry clarified to his little daughter "but I can be in your dreams and you can feel that I am really here. It's amazing what magic can do," Harry said smiling.

The little girl cried again and hugged him again, feeling her father surround her with his arms and kiss her head. When they parted, Harry effortlessly picked her up and sat her down on a bench, taking a seat next to her.

"Mom has been depressed for years, since you're gone, uncle Ron and aunt Luna tell me that before James and I were born, she cried much more often and couldn't sleep well for months. Now she goes to bed and cries every night hugging a photograph in which she is with you" confessed the little girl with tears in her eyes and meeting her father's green eyes, shining with concern "Can you visit her?" The little girl asked innocently.

Harry's jaw dropped at his daughter's words. He knew that it would be hard for Hermione, because facing the death of someone loved is never easy, but hearing that she had spent the last five years depressed and crying for her loss, began to worry him.

"Yes, I will visit her. I promise you, but so that I can visit her, you have to give her this" her father told her, placing a pyramid-shaped stone in her little hand "when you wake up you will have it in your hand and you have to give it to your mother. Tell her to sleep with it in her hand.

Lilly was a bit dubious about that, but then nodded.

"Analyzing things? You remind me of your mother," Harry told her, smiling. "I know your mother will do the same at first, but then she'll understand," her father clarified and winked at her.

The little red-haired girl turned to her father and hugged him again, not wanting to let go of him. They both cried knowing that he could not return to them.

"Do you still love her? She still loves you, she says it every night when she goes to sleep with the photo" asked the little girl innocently.

"I have never stopped loving her, I will love her for all eternity," the jet clarified with a smile and sparkle in his eyes.

"Dad… I love you!" Lilly said between tears "It was very nice to see you, even if it was in my dreams. Will you keep visiting me?" she asked excitedly .

"I love you too, princess, you have no idea" the green-eyed man clarified with tears in his eyes. "yes, little one, whenever you want you can find me here, but I will also need time for your mother" he told her, giving her a kiss on her forehead.

Lilly nodded and kissed her father's cheek.

"Now you should wake up darling. You have to go to school in a bit," Harry told her. "I'll see you another day, okay?" He kissed her head and watched her walk away and disappear, while he stayed behind with his hands in his pockets and with a jumble of emotions after seeing and hugging her for the first time.

Little Lilly woke up in her bed feeling a tickle in her right hand, she turned around and slowly opened her eyes, seeing a small object materialize in her hand, which she soon recognized was the small stone her dad had given her.

Remembering everything her father had told her, Lilly quickly got out of bed and ran to her mother, very excited.

"Mom! Mom!" The little girl shouted climbing on Hermione's bed and jumping on her knees "I saw dad! In my dreams, I saw him and he told me to give you this," said Lilly, holding out her little hand with the stone towards her mom, who looked at her scared and quickly took the stone.

''Lilly Rose Potter! Where did you get this from?'' her mother asked, scaring her a little with the annoyed expression on her face.

The brunette observed that her daughter was scared, probably due to the angry expression on her face. But of course, her little daughter had just held out her little hand with the resurrection stone in it. She remembered that the stone and the cloak were the only heirlooms Harry had kept. When Harry died, Hermione knew that she had to give the cloak to her future son. The elder wand had been returned to Dumbledore's grave, by Ron and Hermione at the request of their green-eyed friend before he died.

"I told you mom. I had a dream about dad and he told me to give you the stone. I don't know how it appeared in my hand; I assume it's magical" said the little redhead with her eyes full of tears. "I saw dad and hugged him. I felt so safe in his arms mom, as if nothing bad could happen to me, it felt so real". Lilly said with a slight smile and tears in her eyes.

"My love, that's impossible. It is true that dad is in our hearts, but there is no way he gave you this. He's gone to heaven darling," Hermione tried to explain, her voice cracking when she said that Harry was gone.

"Dad said you wouldn't believe it at first, but then you'd understand," the girl said, shrugging her shoulders. "I'll get ready for school, Mom." Lilly kissed Hermione's cheek and went to her room to get ready for school.

…..

That same night after putting the twins to sleep, Hermione took the stone and thought with it in her hand. She thought about it so much looking for an explanation for what her daughter had told her, that slowly and without realizing it, she fell asleep with the stone in her hand.

Falling deeply asleep, the brunette found herself in the same place where everything was white and began to try to recognize her surroundings, which seemed to be King's Cross station, but empty.

As she looked around her, recognizing the place, she turned around and realized that someone was walking towards her. Something told her to keep walking, she needed answers to what was happening.

Getting closer, she managed to recognize Harry, standing frozen for what seemed like hours to her. The man she loved and would love her entire life was standing before her. He was wearing a dark blue sweater, with the long sleeves rolled up to his elbows, which highlighted his muscles quite a bit and showed his forearms, light blue jeans and he couldn't ignore the medium beard that had been allowed to grow. He looked so handsome, more handsome than before.

Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the boy smile at her and, unable to believe what she was seeing, she managed to move and ran towards him, lunging and catching him in a long and strong hug, not wanting to let go.

Beginning to realize how real it felt, she slowly separated and they both looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds, while she caressed his face, not being able to believe what was happening and not being able to take it anymore, she pounced on him again and planted him a long kiss on the lips. Not a second passed, when Harry began to return the kiss with the same passion and intensity, encircling her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I can't believe this! It feels so real!" Are you seriously here?" asked the brunette excitedly, touching Harry's face. "You look gorgeous. How is it that you have grown?" Hermione declared blushing a little.

"You are beautiful, you are precious." Harry declared, giving her a lopsided smile and gently caressing her face with his fingers. "As for my growth, I think it's part of the connection I have with you, I'll grow as you do, even being here," Harry concluded.

"How is this happening? It feels so real, Harry" asked the brunette, confused but excited, as she continued pampering the boy's face and then hugged him again tightly.

"The stone directs it at your head. Your brain and your heart are in charge of making it real, as real as you want to feel it, but we know that nothing has the ability to revive the dead. I'm in your head, in your dreams and in your heart, as real as you want to feel me, Mione. But I can't get out of there" Explained the jet.

"Oh, Harry! You don't know how much I've missed you! I would like to stay with you" The brunette said, feeling her tears spill down her cheeks and still clinging to Harry's hug. "Lilly was right and I… I didn't believe her." the girl finished sobbing on the shoulder of the raven.

The green-eyed man let Hermione collapse in his embrace, because she needed to get out everything she felt, he dedicated himself to hugging her tightly and protectively without letting go of her for a few minutes in which she continued to cry and delicately kissed her head. After a few minutes, they parted and Harry met her eyes.

"I miss you a lot too, Hermione, but you can't stay, your time hasn't come yet. You have to go back to James and Lilly; they need you now. Promise me that you will move on with your life, for our children, that you will fall in love again and be happy." Harry asked pleadingly, caressing the ojihoney's face and wiping away her tears.

"I can promise you to move on with my life, for our children Harry, but don't ask me or make me promise to fall in love again and be happy with someone other than you, that's not going to happen," Hermione assured.

Defeated, Harry blushed and hugged her before changing the subject, knowing that when Hermione spoke to him in such a firm tone, it would be difficult for him to change her mind.

"Hey, how beautiful is our Lilly! She is a very intelligent girl, like her mother" Harry says smiling "I certainly mentioned that at first you would analyze it and then you would understand it."

"And as impulsive as her father! Although she tends to analyze things a bit, James is more impulsive," she exclaimed, making Harry laugh. "Oh! They are both beautiful, they remind me of you every day. They have your beautiful eyes, Harry," said Hermione, smiling, her eyes misting with tears.

"You have no idea of the joy that flooded my heart when she hugged me and I heard her tell me dad" said Harry excitedly and starting to cry with happiness. "We talked for a few minutes and I can tell you that she also analyzed the stone. In addition to that, she told me that her mother has been depressed for five years and that every day you sleep with a photo that you have with me. She told me that you cry every night looking at the photo and with her little eyes full of tears, she asked me to visit you," said the green-eyed man, looking straight into Hermione's eyes and slowly changing his smile into a worried expression.

Hermione froze and blushed, not knowing how to respond to what Lilly had said to her father.

"I can't believe Lilly told you that," said Hermione embarrassed, "I promise I'll keep going, they need it too, but will I ever see you again?" asked the brunette, a little hesitant and downcast.

"You have the stone, you can visit me as many times as you want, but you have promised that you will go ahead, so, no offense, do not visit me daily. I want to see you and the children happy," Harry said, gently kissing Hermione's lips, "remember that those who love us never leave us. And I love you Hermione, you and our children." He smiled at her pointing to his heart.

"Sirius…" the brunette whispered, remembering that it had been her godfather who had said that true phrase to her, while Harry nodded smiling.

"Oh, Harry. I love you too, I will for the rest of my life and for eternity" the brunette clarified, caressing his face.

They both leaned in once more and shared a long kiss that they reluctantly had to break a few minutes later.

"Now you have to return love. The children are waiting for you to go to school," Harry told her.

"I 'll be back," Hermione said with a smile, kissing Harry's lips over and over again. "I love you," she whispered in his ear, then pulled away and disappeared, leaving Harry grinning like an idiot after their reunion.

"He had seen and kissed Hermione again," Harry thought with a goofy grin.

Waking up and opening her eyes, the first thing Hermione saw was her children standing by her bed with mischievous expressions on their faces. It was obvious that Lilly had told James about the dream with their father.

"Mom! did you see dad?" Lily asked excitedly, seeing that her mother was holding the small stone in her hand. "That smile you have on your face! It means that if you saw it! You are happy mom!" The little redhead exclaimed.

"Yes, I saw him, Lilly. It made me so happy to see him and hug him." Hermione answered blushing and with a big smile on her face, realizing that both children were looking at her with a smile and a look of complicity that made her remember her and Harry. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you, darling," said the brunette, caressing her daughter's face.

"It doesn't matter, Mom," said Lilly, while a radiant smile began to form on her little face. "And…. did you kiss him?" Lily asked, now smiling and opening her emerald green eyes wide.

"Lilly!" Hermione said, warning that this was already more private between her and her father, although a slight smile appeared on her face and she blushed.

"Now come on, you have to shower, eat breakfast and go to school," Hermione declared, as she ran to the bathroom to take a shower.

Hours later, she dropped the children off at Muggle school and went to work at the Ministry. At noon she went straight to the auror department, as she had agreed to go look for Ron, so they could have lunch together.

Ron Weasley was currently working as an auror at the ministry and on weekends he helped his brother George with the joke shop. They had expanded and sometimes it was his turn to attend to the shop that was in Hogsmeade.

Regarding his love life, he was dating Luna Lovegood, who was now the owner of the picky eater and a very good friend of Hermione's as well. The blonde Ravenclaw had been in love with Ronald since their fourth year, but it was until the end of the war that they had finally gotten together.

Hermione always carried with her the snitch that Harry had caught, the one that Dumbledore had left him. She wore it reduced like a pendant and put on her everyday necklace.

Ron had noticed this several years ago and considered it a normal thing, what worried him, was when he watched Hermione pick up the little snitch and look at it for a moment with a sad look.

The brunette had made this reflex gesture, remembering what had happened in her dream, because of the stone. Yes, she had seen Harry, she had felt so real and the truth was that she missed him too much.

"Hermione, it's been five years," the redhead told her with concern, causing his friend to look up and shoot daggers at him with her eyes.

"You need to go ahead and date someone," Ron suggested, causing his friend to get angrier.

"My love life ended the moment Harry died," Hermione said. "I can be single for the rest of my life if I want to! I will never date anyone again unless they are the exact copy of Harry Potter, inside and out. Do you understand Ron?" The chestnut growled annoyed.

"He would have wanted you to move on with your life and that includes your love life" Ronald said with hopes of achieving something, but it was worse.

"I can't Ronald. Understands! Going out with someone else would be betraying him. I love him so much, that even my patronus mutated into a doe. Just drop the subject, okay?" Hermione asked, starting to cry.

"I remember about your patronus. But think about it, okay?" Ron asked, getting no response.

After finishing the work day, she left the ministry directly to pick up her children at the Granger grandparents' house. This time she had stayed for dinner with her parents. She missed them and wanted to spend time with them.

They were having dinner when her mother let Hermione know that James and Lilly had had their first incident of accidental magic. Lilly had been rocking and when she jumped off the swing, it lessened the impact of her fall. As for James, it happened when he thought his sister would get hurt by falling, causing all the rides in the park to stop at the same time and some in an abrupt way. Hermione thanked her mother for telling her about this, after all her mother had lived through it with her.

A couple of hours later, she came home with James and Lilly and tucked them into their beds. It didn't take long for them to fall asleep, they had arrived very tired after having gone to the park with their grandparents and having played all day. She bundled up the children and went back to her room, but this time when she lay down and took the photo in her arms, she smiled from ear to ear and took the small stone in her hands. Before falling asleep, she locked the bedroom door.

"Muffliato!" She whispered with her wand in hand and soundproofed the room with a smile on her lips, because her plans for tonight involved very dirty dreams with Harry Potter.

Immediately as she fell asleep and appeared at King's Cross Station so white and lonely, she saw Harry walking towards her, causing Hermione to break into a huge smile and run towards him, almost knocking him down with her hug.

They separated and looked into each other's eyes, both being very smiling and happy to see each other again.

They joined their lips, in a kiss full of passion, full of love, showing that they were still crazy about each other. They parted, breathing hard and smiling, they kissed again, while Harry had her wrapped in his arms without wanting to let go.

"Don't you ever let me go!" Hermione told him, panting and flushed, breaking away from his lips for a moment. "Never Harry Potter!" was the last thing he said, before capturing his lips demandingly again, until Hermione needed to breathe and reluctantly, they slowly parted.

"Harry…" she whispered, directing her gaze to the beautiful green eyes in front of her, "make love to me," she begged her eyes in a pleading tone.

Harry's eyes widened and darkened with desire, despite being surprised by her request.

"Are you sure?" Asked the jet still surprised.

"We already gave ourselves up once, remember? I have two beautiful children of yours. I am completely sure of this." the girl declared.

"I know, but you know you can't get pregnant now, Hermione," the green-eyed man clarified.

"I am fully aware of that, Harry. I just want to be with you again and feel you next to me, inside me, feel that I am yours again, I want to feel you again, feel the warmth of your body next to mine. Please?" she asked on the verge of tears, making Harry hug her.

"Okay," Harry agreed, starting to formulate another question that Hermione took it upon herself to answer, only deciphering it in his eyes.

"Yes, I took it upon myself to lock the room and silence it as well," the brunette clarified, blushing and kissing the boy's lips.

"That intelligence of yours, never ceases to amaze me. I don't even know why I was going to ask that," the raven said with a mischievous smile, and then he felt Hermione's lips on his, making his gasp with pleasure.

They began to kiss slowly and passionately, at a pace that made them unable or unwilling to stop and unconsciously, their clothes had begun to fall to the ground.

Hermione was ecstatic with Harry's body, although she had no idea how he got the body he had now, she wasn't going to complain. It was damn sexy.

They had come to lie down on the floor and Harry began to slowly caress her brunette's legs, while their lips continued to merge with each other, with a war between their tongues.

The jet slowly raised his right hand up Hermione's back, until he reached the clasp of her bra, which, with a quick and expert movement, unclasped it and seconds later it had joined the other garments on the floor.

They parted their swollen lips for a moment, looking into each other's eyes with all the love they felt for each other, when Harry lowered his gaze to the girl's breasts, causing her to blush and moan when she felt his lips on them.

He took his time on her breasts, enjoying hearing the moans it elicited from her and feeling her body tremble beneath him, making his erection more bothersome beneath his boxers.

The boy realized that Hermione had felt the pressure on her legs and it made him let out a groan, when she reached out her delicate hands and squeezed his member while biting her lips, causing Harry to take and slide his fingers under her panties, making the girl moan as she touched her wet cavity and slid on top of her.

"Oh my God, Harry!" exclaimed the girl full of pleasure and moaning his name.

Harry now found himself with his hand inside Hermione's panties, and his lips on her breasts, while she squeezed his member making him moan, until she decided to take her hand to the boy's head and take his hair, as she was quite red and if Harry kept this up she wouldn't take it anymore. So she took it and raised his head.

"Please Harry, do it now! I can't take it anymore!" exclaimed the chestnut trembling with pleasure.

The boy captured her lips once more in an enthusiastic kiss, and then he knelt in front of her, admiring her for a moment, and stripped off her panties and boxers. He placed himself on top of her again and felt the brunette's legs wrap around his waist and push him towards her, which made him smile mischievously.

The brunette strongly captured the boy's lips, pulling him towards her with her legs, giving him a sign that she was waiting for him to enter her.

As they kissed, Harry rested his forearms on the floor and slowly lowered himself into the girl's cavity, reveling in the moan that greeted him again, crying out his name.'' That girl would always drive him crazy! '

"By Merlin, Harry! I've missed you so much!" exclaimed trembling and agitated the brunette "You are mine and I will always be yours Harry, always!" She said with tears in her eyes and quivering with pleasure beneath him, as she admired Harry's smiling, delighted face.

The jet began to increase the rhythm of his thrusts, making them both moan and each one shouting the other's name, both intoxicated in a cloud of pleasure, as they had done five years ago.

Both were moaning loudly, they were sweating and feeling the droplets slide down their bodies, while their faces were quite flushed, due to how hot and ecstatic they were. When together they touched the stars, they hugged each other tightly feeling that they reached ecstasy and both exploded.

When they finished and calmed down, the brunette had fallen asleep on Harry's chest. Yes, they had fallen asleep in Hermione's dream.

Hours or moments later, as only Harry seemed to know how much time had passed, he carefully began to move Hermione, who slowly opened her eyes and when she looked at Harry's green orbs, a huge smile spread across her face and she leaned forward. She kissed his lips in a long kiss that Harry reluctantly had to break, as Hermione seriously had to wake up and get their children to class.

"Hermione, love… as much as I would like to stay here with you, you have to wake up, James and Lilly are waiting for you," he said affectionately.

"Oh, right. I wish I could stay here with you," the girl yawned a little, kissing Harry again.

"I know, I would like it too, but the children are still our priority now," said the green-eyed man. "We can see each other again, remember. Now go." rushed the jet, placing another kiss on her lips.

The girl smiled and nodded. It was not necessary for her to look for how to dress, because when she really woke up, he would be in her bed with her pajamas. But what a surprise she was when she found her panties and the part of the bed where she was completely wet, after that magnificent encounter with Harry in her dreams. She quickly got up and went to take a shower, then go pick up her children and take them to school.

Days later over lunch, Hermione told Ron what had happened with the Resurrection Stone, as he also deserved to see his best friend. She handed him the stone and explained that he had to sleep with it in his hand.

That same night Ron didn't hesitate to do as Hermione had told him and met Harry in his dreams, bringing him up to date on everything that was happening downstairs. They shared and laughed a bit, reminiscing about all their adventures, as well as Ron letting him know that he had finally proposed to Luna Lovegood, news for which he received a big hug and congratulations.

"Changing the subject, Ron. I need you to help me with something, I want to find someone who can make Hermione happy, for her to find love again and I'm sure there is a man who can win her heart." Harry spoke with a tremor in his voice, due to the tears running down her cheeks.

— Hey friend, that's going to be a bit difficult, I've already tried it. She's in love with you and the answer I got was "I can spend the rest of my life single if I want " Ron commented to his best friend, trying to imitate Hermione's voice and making him laugh a little at his imitation. "But I'll try something else, without her realizing it." he said this time patting her back.

"We need someone with some facial features similar to yours and something mandatory, your eye color. And now that I remember, coincidentally in the auror department, a man who I know has a resemblance to you has started working some time ago. The difference is that he doesn't wear glasses and obviously he doesn't have your scar, but he could be your twin brother maybe." The redhead argued, making Harry laugh a little at all these details.

What Ronald did not know was that the green tone of the boy's eyes was not exactly the same as Harry's and Hermione would easily notice it, because the jet's eyes were something unique for the brunette.

Harry still loved Hermione so much that he wanted her to be happy, however, that did not mean that it did not hurt deep in his heart, that there could be someone else who would win the heart of the woman he loved so much, because he already could not return to the world.

The friends parted ways, leaving Harry with the intent of a promise to find someone for Hermione.

Ron had already exchanged a few words with Henry, who bore a strong resemblance to his best friend, and decided that he would introduce him to Hermione, but before the redhead had introduced them, Henry had stepped forward, realizing that the woman he had liked since the war, it was now in front of his eyes, because that day the brunette appeared in the training room, to give a report to Ronald, about an investigation that he asked her for as a favor and while Hermione was reviewing the papers to deliver, she heard someone approach her and speak to her, but being focused on her task, she paid no attention, until the man insisted once more.

This time when Hermione raised her face to face him, she froze and gaped. Her heart was pounding at the sight of the man's resemblance to Harry, which made her start to cry. She instantly got up and left the room, being followed by Ron, who decided to go out and comfort her a little, knowing what her friend was going through at that moment.

"He looks so much like Harry, except for his eyes," said Hermione with tears in her eyes and seeing Ron frown.

"He has green eyes, Hermione," the redhead tried to clarify and understand, seeing his friend deny with a small smile.

"He has green eyes, but they are a very different shade than my Harry. Harry's eyes are unique and I'm not just saying this because I'm in love with him, plus I have two children with the same eye color, I saw his green irises up close many times and I know they're not the same" Hermione clarified with her tone know-it-all, when they saw the man leave and approach.

"Sorry to interrupt, but can I have a few words? Hermione," the boy asked, making the brunette blush and watch Ron walk away.

"Of course, I was leaving," said the redhead, walking away from them and entering the room again.

"My name is Henry, Henry Barnes," he said, holding out his hand to Hermione, who cautiously took it. "Hermione Granger, I've liked you since the second war, when I found out who you were. Sure, I knew you were with the great Harry Potter and maybe I'd never be able to meet you in person," the man confessed, making Hermione more uncomfortable.

"I would love for you to give me the opportunity to get to know you better and agree to go to dinner with me," Henry asked with a gallant smile.

"You flatter me a lot, but…" began the brunette, when the man insisted once more.

"Please, just give me a chance," Henry begged, with the same smile.

"It's okay. Tomorrow night," the brunette nodded slightly.

"Perfect. I'll pick you up at eight," the man said even more radiantly and kissing the back of Hermione's hand.

Henry had managed to have a couple of dates with Hermione, not knowing that the brunette was about to tell him that their outings would end, since he had discovered that thanks to the resemblance he had with Harry, there were many women around him, although of course, it was not that what bothered her, was that Henry loved being the center of attention and being told he looked like Harry Potter, which was making Hermione very angry. She and Harry always hated being the center of attention.

What ended what little patience the brunette had left was when Henry offered to drop her off at her house and made a comment that ended her kindness.

"Maybe you could get me some glasses like Potter's and I'd be just like him, except for the scar," the man said superiorly and in a second, he had a slap from Hermione stamped on his face.

"How dare you?! You know? You will never look like Harry in the slightest, nor will you get glasses like them. Never! Now go away, this is over and I don't want to see you again" Hermione finished furiously, while the man rubbed his cheek and angrily left.

….

The next morning, Henry had arrived early for the meeting they had that day with the auror corps and to his bad luck, he ran into Ronald Weasley, who had also decided to arrive early.

"Before you say anything, your best friend didn't want to go out with me anymore. That's all I'll say," Henry tried to explain to Ron, who was about to ask what had happened to his cheek, since it seemed that Hermione had marked her hand.

The redhead knew that Henry was keeping something from him, Hermione wouldn't slap him if she didn't have a good reason to. She just nodded, deciding that when she left the ministry she would go straight to her friend to find out what had happened.

At night, as he had decided, he showed up at Hermione's door and without asking what had happened, the brunette sighed and began to swear quite angrily, until she managed to calm down a bit, to better explain to Ron what had happened.

"We don't fit Ron. Henry is a very self-centered guy and he loves being the center of attention and it annoys me that he loves being the center of attention when women come up to him saying he looks like Harry and that really annoyed me." he confessed with an annoyed tone. "But what ended my patience was, when he came to drop me off and suggested that I get him some round glasses to look more like Harry."

"Oh, the asshole got where he shouldn't have," said Ron understanding the matter and giving himself a light slap on the face.

"Also, Ron, I told Harry that I would never fall in love with anyone else, I already had a love and I lost it and it will be the only love for the rest of my life. Falling in love with someone else would feel like betraying him." The chestnut finished, crying a little.

Ron walked over to her and hugged her tightly, seeking to comfort her.

That night Ron returned home with the resurrection stone one last time, to fill Harry in on what had happened.

"I'm sorry friend, but I told you it was impossible. You're the only one in Hermione's heart." Ron clarified to Harry. "No one is going to change that."

"I know," said Harry, feeling flattered, "but I wanted her to be happy again, even if it hurt me deep down if someone had managed to win her heart."

"She would only be completely happy by your side and you know that," assured Ron, seeing his friend nod slightly. "Besides, she's happy with James and Lilly. You gave her two wonderful children who make her remember you daily. She is happy that you have left a little piece of yourself with her."

"I love my children and I love her. It would have made me so happy to be able to raise them with Hermione," Harry said, slightly affected by his emotions.

"I understand friend. And I also understood that, if it's not with you, she can live and be a single mother all her life, she's a strong woman and we know it," the redhead declared, giving Harry a hug.

"Tell her to come tomorrow, I need to talk to her. Please," Harry asked his best friend, receiving his nod and a pat on the back in good-bye.

The next day at night, Ron appeared at Hermione again, deciding to stay and chat and play with his nephews before they went to sleep.

"Hey, he told me he wants to talk to you tonight," Ron said to Hermione, handing the stone into her hand and winking mischievously at her, making Hermione blush.

Entering her dreams and appearing at King's Cross Station, she found Harry waiting for her, ready to be slammed into one of her signature hugs. It was quite a long hug. A couple of minutes later, they slowly parted ways.

"Harry James Potter! I told you I'm not going to fall in love with anyone again! That boy could be very similar to you! But..." exclaimed the brunette pointing to her heart. This is not the same. No one else could have my heart, because the day you left the world, you took it with you."

"I swear I'm happy Harry. James and Lilly are my happiness down there, you left a little piece of you with me and I am very grateful for that, but I promised you that I would go ahead and leave my depression for your departure and I will, just don't make Ron look for someone again For me, I can't," Hermione continued, now trembling from crying and hugging Harry, receiving the hug in return.

"You know that I would have loved to see them born and raise them with you, Hermione, but it also makes me feel happy to know that I have been present in their hearts and in yours. I know you've given them the message I left for them and someday they'll better understand why I'm not physically with you," Harry said quite excitedly, making Hermione even more excited and put her arms around him. Now the two of them were crying together.

"Have I told you that your eyes are unique and beautiful?" asked the brunette, separating from the hug and staring into Harry's eyes. "Only Lilly and James have your exact eye color and they are the most perfect eyes I've ever seen in my life," she said, holding her gaze on Harry's and making him blush, while with her right hand she caressed the cheek of her beloved.

"You mentioned it once, but thanks." The green-eyed replied with a slight lopsided smile and then leaned down to kiss Hermione's lips.

Years passed in which Hermione had begun to feel better and continue with her life, as she had promised Harry, although the dream meetings were every weekend and occasionally on some day of the week between Monday and Friday, when Hermione felt lonely and wanted to go to the green-eyed, however, she no longer fell asleep crying every night with the photo against her chest. Harry was always in her heart.

They had taken these meetings for Hermione to fill Harry in on what was going on with their children and although Hermione had raised the twins alone, she could now turn to Harry in her dreams, when she felt like she would explode. The jet was in charge of listening to her and then together they talked about what would be the best way to handle each situation. Harry was trying to play his father role from Hermione's dreams.

six years later

The twins and Teddy had gone to their first year at Hogwarts. After leaving them at the station that night, Hermione decided to sleep with the resurrection stone, to let Harry know that her children and Teddy had gone to Hogwarts at last, and she broke down in tears on the green-eyed, knowing that she was going to miss their little ones.

The next day, she had received a letter from James and Lilly, telling her all about the welcoming ceremony and the houses where the hat had placed them.

Teddy had been sorted into Hufflepuff like his mother. James had been sorted into Slytherin and Lilly into Gryffindor. Of course, now there was more union between the houses and the green house was not hated, although there were always their rivalries and competitions when it came to playing quidditch. She was sure her two sons would play the sport and later James would become captain of her team. In that respect, they had both drawn on their father's talent.

Months later, James and Lilly were wandering around the castle and found themselves in a corridor with the curious mirror of Erised. They felt so attracted to it that they walked closer and stopped in front of it, holding hands and impressed by what they saw.

They had no idea how the mirror knew their deepest desire and had reflected them both holding hands with their two parents, but the most curious thing was that their mother wore a small gold band on her left ring finger. She was resting her head on Harry's shoulder and then lifting it up to meet her husband's gaze and they were both smiling happily. Both parents appeared to be around twenty-eight and twenty-nine years of age. The age that James and Lilly knew her mother was currently.

Meanwhile, that same day Hermione had attended the castle, due to an invitation from McGongall to see how the castle had been remodeled after the war. So, they had arrived at the now director's office and they went for a walk to see the renovations, when by surprise they entered the corridor where they saw the two little ones sitting in front of the mirror.

The children had heard footsteps and turned around startled, to find behind them the headmistress and their mother a little scared to find them there. Before being scolded by both women, the children got up and ran towards their mother, pulling her to show her what they saw in the mirror.

"Mom! We have seen ourselves in the mirror with you and dad!" They shouted both very excited, while they pulled their mother's hands, who now looked at them tenderly, knowing that they were not aware of what the mirror was doing.

Hermione was now looking at her children fondly, until they both asked at the same time.

"You see it? We're with dad there!" said the impressed twins, making the brunette look towards the mirror and begin to shed tears when she saw the image in front of her.

The first scene Hermione saw was of her and Harry sitting on a sofa, each with a bundle in their arms, smiling at each other. Harry was so happy holding one of his children, he had a family of his own. Then the reflection in the mirror changed and she saw herself dancing in Harry's arms, she noticed that they both wore a gold band on their left ring fingers and they were dancing slowly, looking into each other's eyes and smiling. There was a short moment when Harry leaned down and gently kissed her lips. Then she sighed and leaned on her husband's shoulder, while they continued to sway and two little children watched smiling from behind.

The headmistress had stared at the scene now a little moved, knowing that everyone missed Potter. A moment later, Hermione's voice snapped her out of her musings.

"This is the mirror of Erised/, children. This mirror shows each person the deepest desires of their hearts reflected in it. That's why you both seen holding hands with your father and me. You deeply wish your father were with us," explained Hermione now crying a little.

"Mom, what did you see?" Lilly asked curiously.

"I saw myself… I saw myself married to your father, darling. We were having a dance together and you guys were sneaking a look at our dance," Hermione confessed, choking on the words and blushing a little, but giving her children a faint smile.

"I don't want to interrupt, but I think it's time we all go back and these kids go to sleep," Mcgongall said a little moved.

"Oh, sorry professor. I think we have two Potters who will get into as much trouble as their father," the brunette said a little embarrassed.

They all returned to the headmistress's office, where a prefect from Gryffindor and Slytherin houses were waiting to escort the students to their respective common rooms.

James and Lilly said goodbye to their mother and left the office with the prefects. Minutes later, Hermione also said goodbye and flooed back home.

After seeing herself married to Harry in the mirror of Erised, it occurred to her that she could propose that him marry in her dreams, perhaps through the stone it could be real.

She had entered her dreams again and now they were both hugging each other on one of the benches, after having shared an intense kissing session.

"Can I ask you something?" The brunette asked, still hugging Harry .

"Sure, whatever you want," Harry replied, nodding his head.

"Can we get married here?" The brunette asked, dreading Harry's answer .

"Hermione, I'm dead, remember?" Harry told her puzzled.

"How to forget it?" She replied sarcastically, lowering her sad face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that, not to hurt you," he told her, lifting her chin with his hand.

"I know, Harry, but at least that way they'll understand that I'm not interested in a relationship, please?" She said making that little face that Harry could never say no to.

"Okay " the green- eyed man accepted, "just because you have that little face with which you always convince me."

"You mentioned that you had picked up my wand, my glasses and…did you check the pockets of my…?" Said the jet, but he couldn't finish because Hermione had caught his reference and pulled from the hidden collar of his shirt, a gold necklace that contained a small golden snitch.

"You're amazing," Harry said with a smile, unaware of the havoc this wreaked on Hermione's heart.

The brunette handed him the necklace with the ball and Harry, using wandless magic, returned it to its normal size and then put his mouth on the small golden ball, causing it to open and reveal a small gold band.

"I was going to propose to you after the war," Harry confessed, as Hermione stared in awe at the beautiful ring with her hands over her mouth and tears in her eyes.

"Will you marry me? Even if it's in your dreams? Hermione," Harry asked, kneeling before her.

"Yes! Harry, yes, I do!" The brunette replied excitedly, shedding tears of happiness. "Wherever we are, I'll marry you," she finished, while the green-eyed man slipped the ring on the girl's left ring finger.

Meanwhile, outside of Hermione's mind, the small gold band that was inside the reduced snitch on the collar, began to materialize on her left ring finger and at the same time, inside the dream, a gold ring also appeared on Harry's ring finger

The brunette, crying with happiness, hugged and kissed Harry as if her life depended on it. The kiss was filled with passion from both of them, causing neither of them to want to end it. They had to part when Hermione needed air. Yes, even in his dreams there would come a time when she needed to breathe.

"I love you Harry, I always will," said Hermione breathlessly, finding herself red, flushed and her lips swollen.

"And I love you, Mione. I will love you eternally." The boy replied, bringing their foreheads together and kissing the brunette's lips again.

Upon waking up, Hermione realized that the ring had actually been inside the snitch around her neck and had materialized on her ring finger. She smiled as she examined the small gold band. It was beautiful and they had decided to add the reduced stone as a small ornament, although she could remove it when her children wanted to visit their father.

On the inside of the ring was an inscription that read:

''Harry J. Potter & Hermione J. Granger - Potter. **Always**''.

She put the ring back on her finger and with a silly smile she got out of bed to start the day, with a happiness that would not be taken away so easily.

Even the twins had noticed that their mother was incredibly happy and had a good time sitting like that. They didn't understand why, until they saw the golden ring on his left ring finger, just like the one they had seen in the Erised mirror.

….

Months after being engaged/married to Harry, Hermione signed up to go on a mission with the aurors, Ronald having agreed to this, as he knew Hermione was a formidable witch and why they would need her investigative skills. He never thought that all this was due to a desperate impulse and because she needed adrenaline and because of this, she put her life at risk.

Ron had come back upset with her and complained about a couple of things. Later he managed to go to Hermione's house to talk to her about what she had done more calmly, but when he arrived, he found that the brunette was taking a bath and told Lilly to get the stone, as he intended to talk to Harry about this, since he was worried about his best friend's attitude.

The little girl with emerald green eyes went to her mother's room and spoke to the brunette from her room, letting her know that she would take the stone to see her father tonight. She took the stone from her mother's bedside table and left the bedroom.

Lilly ran downstairs into the living room and handed the small stone to her uncle Ronald, who made her promise to keep this mischief between them.

That night, Ron entered his dream and met his friend again. After talking for a while, the redhead told him everything that had happened in the raid they had had and how Hermione had put herself in danger without thinking twice.

"I accepted Hermione going because I know she is an excellent witch and we needed her research, but I never imagined that she was desperate for adrenaline and that she would put her life at risk. I got a reprimand from the head auror. You need to talk to her, I know she misses you and you know it too, but I think neither you nor I want her to do something crazy." The redhead said worried.

Harry was shocked and incredulous at Hermione's actions, leading him to agree to his best friend's request. He would talk to the chestnut.

The two boys said their goodbyes and Ron disappeared, waking up the next morning and asking his fiancée, Luna Lovegood, for the favor of delivering the stone to Lilly, without Hermione noticing. The brunette had asked her blonde friend to meet at her house today, so she could let off some steam between them.

Hermione was finishing getting ready when Luna appeared at her house. Luckily for the blonde, Lilly and James were watching TV in the living room and she leaned closer to the red-haired girl so she could whisper in her ear.

"Your uncle Ron told me to give you this," Luna whispered to Lilly, handing her the resurrection stone.

Late at night, Luna said goodbye and went home with her fiancé, so that Hermione could put the twins to bed.

After tucking Lilly and James in and telling them her and her father's love story, the redhead returned the stone to Hermione and thanked her. A few seconds later, when the twins fell asleep, the brunette returned to her room, got ready in her pijamas and got into bed with the stone in her hand.

When she was inside the white King Cross station, she found a Harry who seemed to be annoyed, as he was waiting for her with his arms crossed and a look that defined his anger. She approached confused and with slow steps, until she heard Harry speak and her blood ran cold.

"Ron told me what happened yesterday in the raid you went to with him and the other aurors," Harry said, with a rather cold voice and noticing Hermione's unrepentant reaction. "Since when are you as impulsive as me?" Since when do you risk your life so easily?" he asked seriously.

"You talk like you don't want me to be with you!" Hermione exclaimed through tears.

"Hermione! Listen to what you're saying!" He replied, now noticeably angry and incredulous at the words of the woman he loved so much. "Of course I want to be with you! Forever! But you can't just decide to risk your life to come here! Don't do crazy things Hermione! By Merlin!" Exclaimed the jet rather annoyed.

The brunette looked up, finding herself in a flood of tears and looking into Harry's eyes, she could see the pain in them, but she didn't let him get close or say anything else, she just turned around and woke up in her bed with her face bathed in tears. She spent the rest of the early morning and the morning unable to fall asleep, so she waited for the time to get up and go downstairs to make breakfast.

It was Saturday and she had finally gone down to make the morning meal, when she began to cry again and she hadn't realized that her children were looking at her worriedly. As she turned to hand them their plate of food, Lilly worriedly spoke to her.

"Mom, what's wrong with you? You've been crying since you woke up. Have you had a fight with dad?" The redhead asked with noticeable concern and sadness in her voice.

She was going to brush it off, but she knew she couldn't lie to her children, so she answered as truthfully as she could tell.

"We had an argument. I did something crazy and he was upset and worried about me" clarified the brunette trying to wipe away her tears.

"Oh, mom. We can understand dad worrying about you when you do crazy things." It was James who spoke this time, receiving a knowing nod from Lilly.

Later, after talking and reflecting on what her eleven-year-old sons told her.

"Oh God, how clever they had come out," she decided to take a day to calm down completely and the next night she would talk to Harry.

Arriving the night of the next day, she took the resurrection stone from her ring and went to bed. She appeared again at King's Cross Station, when she looked at Harry sitting on one of the benches. He turned his head and seeing her stood up and slowly approached her.

The two of them facing each other, the brunette was the one who pounced on him crying and they both hugged each other tightly.

"Forgive me," the brunette sobbed without letting go of Harry's embrace.

"You also forgive me, I shouldn't have yelled at you, it's just that I don't want you to put yourself in danger. I love you so much Hermione and believe me I want to be with you more than anything and one day we can finally be together again, but James and Lilly need you more right now, your time hasn't come yet." Harry clarified hugging her tightly and planting kisses in her head.

"I know. It will not happen again. It was a moment of desperation, I needed you so much at that moment that I didn't think about what I was doing, but your children made me reflect." Hermione confessed a little embarrassed. "They are both so intelligent."

"Oh, proud father," Harry said with a smile on his face, "they went to their mother," the green-eyed continued, making Hermione laugh now and planting a kiss on her lips, from her position in the hug, finding Hermione with her head in his chest and leaning up.

Weeks had passed, even months, in which Hermione began an arduous investigation with the resurrection stone, how to unite dreams with more people, so that she could go with the twins on their summer vacations and surprise Harry on his birthday. Although she was no longer in the world of the living, since she knew what she could do with the stone, she had gone every July 31 to congratulate the love of her life and the point was that she had decided to do this as a surprise for him on his twenty-eighth birthday and had been researching for a long time, until she achieved her goal.

This was a spell where you would have to hold the stone in your hand and the other people would place their hands on top of yours with the stone and then you would have to recite the words "unio somniorum" which meant "union of dreams.'' In Latin, causing the stone to envelop all the people involved with its magic.

She would give Harry the gift of a little family reunion so he could see and hug his two children and his wife. They would all be together for the first time and nothing excited her more than seeing her husband happy and sharing, even in her dreams, a little moment with the family he always wanted to have.

The twins were now on their summer break and in September they would start their second year at Hogwarts. Time went by so fast; she couldn't believe that twelve years ago she had lost forever the love of her life and that her children were already twelve years old. She was so happy to have them and to have a piece of Harry with her, but that didn't lessen the pain she felt and how much she missed Harry's presence.

The day came and that night she sat on the sofa in her living room with her children on each side and both, along with her mother's explanation, put their hands on top of hers, which now contained the resurrection stone face up.

"Unio somniorum" pronounced the spell and the three saw instantly, as the stone lit up under their hands and began to transmit some kind of waves through their bodies that was making them sleepy and they slowly closed their eyelids until the three of them fell asleep with their heads towards the back of the sofa.

Appearing at King's Cross Station, Hermione made them stop to tell them to be the first their father saw, that she would walk behind.

Harry was ready to see Hermione show up tonight as she had made a point of showing up every 31st of July to congratulate him and that was another thing Harry loved so much about her. Even though she was in the world of the living, she never stopped trying to make him happy and boy had she succeeded.

The jet felt that someone appeared and walked towards what was supposed to be the entrance to the station and looked at two children exactly the same, except for their hair, since the girl had red hair and the boy had completely brown hair. When he saw them, he was scared, surprised? ''How could it be that both of them were here?"

"James? Lilly?" Harry asked still not knowing how the two of them were there and unable to react instantly.

Both children shared a knowing look, looked back at their father and nodded their heads, then ran towards him and both threw themselves into an emotional hug to their father, who had to bend down to receive hugs from his twelve-year-old children.

Parting from their children, all three were bathed in tears.

"My princess and my champion," Harry said happily, hugging and kissing the heads of his sons." How come you're both here?" Harry asked still excited.

"Oh, ask mom that," the twins replied in unison, as they turned towards the entrance and the three of them saw Hermione appear.

Harry straightened up and with open arms received his wife in a strong and emotional hug. When they separated from the hug, they both looked into each other's eyes and brought their lips together several times in short kisses full of love and smiles.

They broke apart and stopped kissing when they heard James and Lilly giggle. They both looked at them quite blushing, until James decided to speak.

"Are you going to stop drooling your face? We already know that you love each other, but we are here in front" protested the little chestnut.

"How come the three of you are here, Hermione?" Harry asked hugging his family.

Hermione spent the next few minutes explaining to Harry how she thought if this could be done and spent months researching the stone and came to her goal, with a dream-binding spell that caused the stone to envelop all participants in its magic.

"I spent months researching this and I thought I'd give you a birthday surprise and have you have a little reunion with your family," the brunette finally explained, blushing a little and with a radiant smile.

"You're brilliant love," Harry told Hermione, cupping her face and planting a kiss on her lips, leaving her breathless.

"Thank you, Hermione. I will never be able to finish thanking you for everything you did for me and what you continue to do. You're amazing and I love you, I love you with all my heart and soul," said Harry, now with tears in his eyes, which Hermione wiped away with her fingers.

"There's nothing to be thankful for, my love," Hermione said caressing Harry's face. And I think your children have news to give you," added the brunette, smiling, as they all went to sit on the bench behind them.

"We both made our house quidditch teams!" I'm a Seeker on the Gryffindor team! Dad" Lilly exclaimed excitedly.

"I'm also the Seeker for the Slytherin team!" It was James's turn to shout excitedly. "I want to become captain when I get to sixth year dad." added James still with emotion.

"Wow! I am very proud of you. On other occasions when you show up, I can give you some tips on how to handle your broomstick and how to play the game," Harry offered them, winking at them and receiving squeals of excitement from the twins, while Hermione rolled her eyes.

As they excitedly talked about quidditch, Hermione looked at the three people she loved the most with a wistful look, knowing that they would never have that in the world of the living.

"James, do you realize that our wish was fulfilled, even if it was in our dreams?" Lilly asked her twin, quickly changing the subject. Her twin brother looked that his father was confused.

"Oh, let me tell you that your children are as rebellious as you. Well, when they started the first year at Hogwarts, McGonagall invited me to see the remodeling of the castle and we met this pair in front of the Erised mirror," Hermione explained to Harry.

"We saw you and mom in the mirror. But we know that this can only be possible here" James confessed to his father with a sad look, which made Harry react and hug his son affectionately, kissing his head.

"James, mom's wish was also fulfilled, at least a part of it ," said the redhead when she saw the ring on her father's finger.

"How come mom has it even when we're not here?" James asked somewhat confused.

"Well, the ring already existed, I had hidden it inside the snitch that your mother always carries around her neck. The only thing I did here was take the ring out of the snitch and with magic being down there, it just materialized on her finger." Harry explained to his son. "It's the snitch I caught in my first Quidditch match."

"Wow!" The twins exclaimed, their eyes wide with excitement.

"What were your wishes Mione?" Harry asked, seeing the brunette's eyes fill with tears and get up from the bench.

Harry also got up from the bench and walked over to her, wrapping her in a hug.

"The only one that could be fulfilled is that of being married to you, although I am a widow even before we get married. The other is impossible, because I saw us both carrying newborn James and Lilly and you were shining with happiness." Hermione confessed, bursting into tears in Harry's embrace, who squeezed her a little tighter, letting her unload all her sadness and crying with her.

They decided to change the subject and spent another couple of hours talking to keep Harry company, until whatever time they had to wake up. When it was almost time to wake up, the raven rose from the bench and held out his hand to Hermione, who looked at him somewhat strangely, taking his hand and standing up again.

"Lend me your wand," Harry asked, taking the wand when Hermione handed it to him and then magically playing some music. Specifically, he played the same song that they had danced to in the store on their hunt for horcruxes.

"Didn't you think you would leave without granting me a dance? Or if?" Harry asked, as he winked at his children, who watched smiling from the bench as another of their mother's wishes was fulfilled.

He took Hermione by her waist and with his other hand he took hers and intertwined their fingers, while she put her left hand on his shoulder and they began to sway slowly. Harry leaned in and brought their lips together in a sweet, delicate kiss and then she rested her head on his chest.

A few minutes later, Lilly got up and asked to dance with her father. Harry proudly took his daughter as he had done with Hermione and began to rock with her, while the brunette as a proud mother smiled at the scene and prayed that this would never be erased from her mind.

"Dad, you just fulfilled another of mom's wishes. She had seen herself married and dancing with you in the mirror." The little girl said, making Harry smile. The melody was coming to an end, when Lilly hugged him tightly. "I love you dad. Happy Birthday." Lilly waved goodbye.

"Thank you, princess, I love you too. Take good care of yourself, I hope to see you soon," Harry said, leaning down a bit and kissing his daughter's head as they held each other.

It was James's turn to say goodbye, as his sister and father parted ways. Harry hugged James and kissed his head too.

"I love you too dad, happy birthday." said the little boy still hugging Harry.

"Thank you. I love you too son. I hope to see you soon too, take care of yourself and your sister, okay?" Harry said, leaning down and kissing the top of her head.

When it was Hermione's turn, they both hugged each other and cried without wanting to separate. Reluctantly they parted and Harry cupped Hermione's face, wiping away her tears and looking into her eyes.

"Happy birthday my love," Hermione managed to say through tears.

"Thank you. Thanks for doing this Mione. I love you," Harry said and then kissed her lips in a longer kiss, leaving them both breathless.

"I love you harry. I'll be back, I promise" Hermione said goodbye still with tears in her eyes,

They parted and Harry watched his children and wife disappear. The three people he loved the most.

…..

Five years later

Five years later, family reunions with the resurrection stone had become more frequent when Lilly and James were on vacation. They were both in their sixth year at Hogwarts, both being captains of the Quidditch teams in their respective Slytherin and Gryffindor houses.

When they arrived at the station and greeted their father, always including the long and loving greeting of their parents, which sometimes tended to make them a little uncomfortable, James immediately brought up the subject he had been preparing to annoy his sister.

"Oh, Lilly should tell you about her boyfriend," James said, intending his father to tell his sister that she was very young. He wanted him to side with him and give him permission to stop any idiot from hurting his sister. This information caused an expression of seriousness, concern and annoyance on his father's face.

"James!" Lilly exclaimed with annoyance. "Shut up!"

"Lilly, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're too young to still have a boyfriend," Harry said seriously with his arms crossed, raising an eyebrow in disbelief and watching James nod his head in support. "Right Mione?" He asked his wife hoping she would support him, however he didn't hear an immediate answer as Lilly jumped in response.

"Dad! Please, I'm sixteen! So that means James can't have a girlfriend either!" Said the redhead in an accusing tone towards her brother, who also received a frightened look from his father, but a very different one.

"James, next time you're here, bring me a report on the questioning you're going to do with that boy," Harry said to his son, causing Hermione to respond at last.

"Harry, calm down. Terry is Lilly's best friend, he's a good boy. Imagine it's you and me. Also, James is the typical jealous brother and makes sure no one hurts his sister," Hermione clarified, causing James to protest.

"Hey! I'm not jealous! I only take care of my sister" the brown-haired man claimed, blushing a little.

Harry let out a groan of annoyance and hugged his daughter protectively, placing a kiss on the top of her head.

"Promise me you'll be careful, okay? I couldn't stand it if James or your mom told me someone hurt you. If I were alive, I swear I'd take over." Harry addressed Lilly, causing Hermione to see them moved. "As for you James, take care of your girlfriend, be a gentleman and love her as I love your mother" the green-eyed said directing his gaze towards Hermione, who blushed violently, making Harry and their children smile.

For Hermione, this was a side of Harry that had softened her to the bone. How he would have liked to see him take care of them in life and protect his little daughter so much. She had seen here in her dreams, the happiness that radiated from Harry, when he was with their children. She slowly moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, placing a kiss on his cheek and making him look into her eyes, causing Hermione to melt in his arms.

"I hope we find in them the love that you have, even after death" said Lilly with her eyes full of tears. "Mom has made my expectations high, when she tells us the stories of you two" she said smiling and with misty eyes the youngest of the Potters, watching her parents embrace lovingly.

For Lilly, being more romantic than James, it was a delight to see how her parents looked into each other's eyes, smiled and hugged. It was a love like no other and she knew from the way they looked at each other that it would last for eternity. She hated Voldemort so much, for having taken her father's life and with it her mother's heart. It was true that she was happy with them on earth, however, there was always that emptiness in her heart, which only Harry Potter could fill.
