Chapter 1

Sup fools, this is my first fanfic don't burn me in flames . No idea if I will keep doing this but I read a story on this site called " Izuku's Fall Deku's Rise" by Grandmaster B. Anyway that was basically my inspiration so enjoy my shit . Disclaimer : I don't own My Hero Academia

Izuku sat in the 1A classroom with an odd layer of calm to him . Hearing the excited chatter of his friends ready to start the day really gave him a sense of serenity . It was crazy but at some point the prestigious school had started to feel like home , even before the dorms he bet .

He looked around , observing all of his classmates for what felt like eternity. He knew they'd all become great heroes one day ,even Mineta with his ….tendencies. His gaze drifted over to Kacchan, memories of the final fight at Nabu Island filled his mind .

He just wished he could join them .

No one's pov

" Settle down , There are a few announcements before I let you go for the day lets make it quick so I can take a nap " Aizawa was trying to be normal for the class considering the bombshell that was going to be dropped on them . It was mostly minor announcements nothing of note .

" Aizawa-sensei , when are we gonna do hero training again ? " Kaminari asks the class murmuring in agreement . They hadn't had any after the Nabu Island incident." Usually you guys ramp up the training after we get attacked by villains ! " Needless to say Kaminari got stabbed by Jirou's jacks .

" You're about get your wish don't regret it " Aizawa drawled " hero classes resume today " for once he let them cheer at his words " But before that there's one more thing " they quiet down excitement still palpable " Midoriya has something to say " Aizawa stepped aside and waited for the inevitable storm .

Midoriya walked up front , his slow, nervous steps echoing through the confused classroom. What was he going to say . It was clearly important if he informed their sensei beforehand.

Izuku had lost the calm he had seconds ago , each step felt harder than the last . He couldn't hold it back any longer . He needed to let it go .So despite his nervousness he took a breath ……

and spoke

" Guys , thank you for everything…."

The classes confusion grew , worry creeping at the edge of their minds .

" Without you I-I-I don't think I would have come this close to being a hero …

Worry , Realization

Bakugo grits his teeth and hopes it's not true .

" Midoriya "

" Deku-kun"

" I'm s-s-sorry but I'm leaving UA "

Heartbreak , Denial

Bakugo looks down guilt bearing on him

" Come Midoriya , you're joking … right ? "

" Y-Yeah just a joke right Deku-kun "

" Geez don't scare us like that Midori "

An awkward silence went over them all reality sinking in . " Why Deku-kun ? It's your dream to be a hero you can't just give up ! " Uraraka looked crushed they all did , it was just so sudden .Midoriya was always the first person to jump into the fray , to fight life and limb to save even one person . For him to say he's leaving it was heart breaking.

Izuku trembled , no amount of broken bones compared with this pain , his gut burned and twisted inside him and he could feel the hot tears threating to spill .

" Calm down everyone ! " all eyes were on the class president his usual rigid posture absent now slightly hunched over. " I'm as shocked as you but we must let Midoriya explain , I'm sure there's a logical reason for this " they could all tell he was hoping otherwise that this was some misunderstanding that could be remedied .

Izuku smiled at his friend. It meant a lot to him that Iida wanted to hear him out despite being clearly against his decision . He noted to thank him later before clearing his throat to get everyone's attention " It's not that I've given up it's that it's not a good idea for me to try me to be a Hero anymore , before you say anything it's not self esteem issues or anything , I've just ….. " he sighs loudly " I-I've lost my quirk. " The tears finally spill .

Bakugo sobs silently guilt's weight breaking him

There's confusion but they know Midoriya's done for now .His friends surround him calming him down ready to support him in what ever he needs . They could ask questions later now they all needed to be there for their friend .

Not the best ending but it's midnight I'm tired . So yeah not much has happened yet but I wanted to see if people liked the idea especially since Heroes Rising is a bit of an old movie now but lets see don't expect frequent updates .
