Valentine's Day
Trixie giggled happily as Mommy picked her up and hugged her close.
"Looks like you're Mommy's Valentine today aren't you Trixie?" Mommy smiled.
Trixie looked around the room and cooed, putting her hand in her mouth. Whoever Valentine was, it did explain the floating butt looking hearts that were around them.
She didn't understand why Angie was all dressed up in red and dressed as somebody named Cupid but she liked how silly she looked shooting arrows everywhere.
One of the arrows hit Doggie as Tommy, Chubby, Fill, and Lil thought he was in love with Angie's kitty Fluffy.
Fluffy wasn't interested in Doggie. Trixie was just starting to roll over on her tummy and even she knew it wouldn't go well.
But being with Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa, and Angie, she never saw the aftermath of her big brother's misadventures with love.
That didn't mean that she didn't have fun chewing on the yummy stuffed animals she got as presents and watching Angie make Valentine cookies with Mommy for a party everyone would be attending later that night.
Then Trixie took a nap, waking up just as Mommy and Daddy had gotten to the party.
She didn't like being separated from them but Angie suggesting she could stay with her and Susie made her feel better.
And scribbling on stuff never hurt either. Especially when it was paper.
"Tommy, where you going?" Trixie asked, kicking her feet as Tommy stood with Chubby who had some of his hair on a Valentine.
"We're going to find Chuckie's daddy so Chuckie to give him his Valentine," Tommy explained. He rolled Trixie's stroller out of the room with Chubby following behind them. "Come on!"
Trixie squealed, clapping her hands. She loved going on adventures with her big brother whenever she could and this was one of those times.
She enjoyed the chaos that surrounded her, squealing and clapping until feeling Mommy take her out of the stroller and into her arms.
"Did you come all this way for us?" Mommy smiled. "Guess they missed us too, Stu."
Daddy laughed as he took Tommy in his arms and laid his head on his shoulder. "Who can blame them? In fact, who could blame us for missing them on Trixie's first Valentine's Day?"
Mommy took Tommy from Daddy's arms as Daddy took Trixie from her arms.
Daddy dancing with her made Trixie feel like she was being rocked as she fell asleep with her last image being Chubby giving his daddy his Valentine.
