3 DAYS UNTIL AIOLOS GOES PERMANENTLY INSANE
He came across the Sagittarius laying so low to the ground that he had to take his hand to fan away the thick fog that covered him. "There you are…." he hissed delightfully as he found the archer at last. His eyes turned toward the bow that remained gripped in his hand. Even while unconscious he is trained to never allow it to leave his side. "It must be painful when he stole it and your horse from you… at least for a while. You probably felt angry...naked...betrayed..."
The figure reached down and cradled the ninth guardian as if he was his son and the figure was Madonna. It has been a long time since he's had more company around here. He pulls the sweaty curls from his face.
"You poor thing. Look what your love for Athena has brought you. You nearly died… you can't walk… you can't think straight….you are nearly a shell of your old self. But the worse part is…." He leaned down, his grey hair rubbed against the side of Aiolos' face. "She and Aiolia betrayed you in favor of the one who has wrought all of this upon you. What a shame! All of the years you two spent together and they did...that right in front of nearly all of the Zodiac. You've sacrificed everything, but your life, and yet, you've gained nothing."
"But I… can change that. Behold the appetizer before the main course. Join us, and unlike Athena who has brought nothing but misery upon you, we will make certain you are a proper warrior once more. You will walk and run. You will fight. Your heart aches for it." The room shook with every step of the large foreboding panda.
"Aiolos! Where are you!" shouted the Gemini in the distance.
His time was up. He must leave for now. Although he was quite curious at what the two will do.
"Think about it," he whispered before spirited off.

90 DAYS UNTIL AIOLOS GOES PERMANENTLY INSANE
Saga's body twitched violently as if waking up from a dream where he was falling. He banged the back of his head against the rocky surface, causing small bits of dust to tumble and entangle in his long blue hair, that was heavily matted with dried blood. He opened his eyes, only to meet another pair that was as serene as the sky.
He stared at his goddess as she sat on his lap, holding her hand on the spot where Aiolos' arrow pierced through him and directly into her neck, apparently applying her cosmos upon it. He opened his shirt and looked down. It was still bleeding heavily, but it didn't hurt nor had the dull burning sensation he got any time Aiolos turned him into a pincushion.
How strange. He would think that Athena could heal wounds since she had the infinite wisdom and cosmos to do so.
Why can't she do it?
The Gemini shook his head. He didn't have time to theorize and dive into his pool of knowledge on the First Holy War.
He turned to his hands, still wet with blood. His eyes shifted up to Eternity, his Living Illusion… The skin of his body that reflected the depths of the stars was still quite solid. He knew for a fact that Eternity had a maximum of one minute before he faded if he ever lost consciousness. Not only that but the same sunset that he saw when he woke up was still there, and that was something one could not alter with the flick of a switch.
"Ten seconds…" he thought as his eyes shifted around. This was so bizarre. He was in the Room of the Golden Ball for hours and yet the arrows from up above continued to pick off what was left of the flock as if nothing happened. How strange. It felt like he really did delve into a world of dreams and was immediately plucked back to reality. He heaved from the sheer whiplash of the situation before he took a few breaths. As much as he would like to ponder the room, there were more important things. He returned back to Athena as she calmly sat there despite the clear pain she must be suffering. Even though they needed to hurry, there was something he needed to say.
"Athena, please forgive me, for earlier." He shook his head. "I-" he wanted to tell her that even though she asked him to, it was Aiolos who made the call to follow it through and he shouldn't have yelled at her, especially when it was his fault that she became wounded. He wanted to tell her that he was angry, not at her, but at himself. Perhaps if he was more open to listening to the archer about working together instead of trying to end it all himself, he wouldn't have needed to bear the burden of the curse. He wanted to explain himself, but instead, she clutched his hand and gave a gentle nod as if it wasn't necessary, but then she pointed over to the ground of bloody white feathers.
It was a painful sight. It was more so that birds, especially pigeons and doves, were very sacred in Lemurian culture, prized for their intelligence. He knew for he used to try to impress Shion by searching for whatever facts he could dig upon them such as their surprising ability to count up to nine, a feat that was thought to be limited only to humans and primates. A shame such a time of innocence was gone now.
Saga turned his head upwards. Goddess what a predicament he had to wake up to...twice. Aiolos, despite being unable to walk, was positioned in the best spot for an archer of his caliber.
Height= Power
That was the simple philosophy of the Sagittarius. He can see everything and gravity would boost the strength of his arrows.
If he could hit a dummy from hundreds of meters away, he would have no problems striking the blue-haired idiot a hundred meters below.
Why do you keep calling yourself that? You are a problem? You are a monster? Why do you keep calling yourself such terrible words?
Dr. Krios' words lingered.
How odd.
Normally in dreams, he would forget them. But for some reason, the room of the Golden Ball was still vivid in his imagination from the taste of the candies he produced to the freezing temperatures of the office. Even that magazine article on how he could tone his butt was fresh in his mind.
He took his hands and clenched his head. He couldn't carry Athena by light speed or Another Dimension. Perhaps he could heal her more down here but that takes time. In that span, Aiolos would send the others and while he doubted they would touch Athena, they would go after him. He was certain that cursed Aiolos will see him either dead or locked up until the dagger has finished claiming him.
He must succeed, and he'll beat Aiolos in the grand game while doing so.
A burst of bloody white feathers fell. At first, it made him grit his teeth, but a source of inspiration followed. If Athena didn't seem so pale, he could just rush her through. But that was the limits of healing with cosmos. He could seal her skin, but he can't just magically create blood or whip out a transfusion.
He thought about casting a simple mirror barrier. It wouldn't protect him from the arrows since it was weak, but If he wasn't moving, from high above, Aiolos wouldn't be able to decipher him from the rocks. The problem was, to keep his cosmos low, he was going to have to walk at normal speed and he was certain if the archer turned downwards, he would see a slight movement and knew what was up.
But that was where the birds came in. Aiolos may have a quick draw, but the distance between what was above and what was below would require him to take a little more time to readjust his aim. He knew his timing. He had to when training with him. Not only that, but he was a hunter and he would often linger a bit on a kill which could add a little more time and the added darkness of the sun setting should conceal them better.
He pressed against the side of the wall as close as he could. He closed his eyes and produced the mirror barrier over himself and Athena while shaping Eternity and a doll-like version of Athena next to him. The Gemini's gaze lingered. People always wondered why he would spend so much time and cosmos crafting such a being. But the thing was, he used to have a far more perfect partner, but the thing that they were sent for, ironically divided them. It was then, he realized that the hair color was off. It was a far lighter shade of blue and Aiolos would notice.
"Kanon," he shook his head. "If only making you appear was this simple." He corrected the error and took a deep breath. He'll leave the two of there so that if Aiolos looked down, he will see that they were still trapped while he and Athena moved across.
This was going to be the longest ten meters he will ever have to travel.
His hands shook as he waited for the first strike before taking a couple of safe steps past the point beyond the overhang. His head turned upwards, the barrier transparent to him like a fine sheet. He could see Aiolos turning his head back and forth from the birds to down below, eyeing Eternity and the doll-Athena. He waits carefully for the archer to raise his bow and fires it before he takes three steps forward this time and stops. He could hear Athena struggling to hold still as she clung to his trainer. His eyes kept eyeing and timing. It was slow, but it seemed to be working, at least he hoped so. But as he studied the archer, there was a slight pit in his stomach at the easy rhythm Aiolos established as he killed each bird, with the same ease as the wives of fishermen would have at shucking clams near his old home.
But just as he reached the safety of another rocky wall, Athena collapsed a bit. Saga's free hand grabbed her before she fell, but the seemingly inconspicuous view of tumbling stones was enough and soon the arrows stopped firing. The Gemini turned his head and watched her pale face grimace at what had happened. The two froze, like a pair of deer in the dead of winter. Then the first arrow came down and struck the spot where he first stepped out. The next lands where he was followed by the next stop and the next. He wasn't sure how he was doing it either, but it wouldn't surprise him if somehow Aiolos noticed a faint pattern of displaced rocks on the ground.
Since it was fairly obvious that the Sagittarius knew what just transpired, curiously, the Gemini gestured Eternity, who bore his face, and the Athena doll to move forward. At first, they remained untouched, practically strolling across no-man's-land until a golden arrow struck Eternity's head straight through the center, the tip protruding through his mouth. Still, Eternity moved forward and stopped in front of him.
That was when he noticed a small message wrapped around the bottom part of the shaft. He pulled it off and unwrapped it. "H4 to g5," he mused. "So, you take the knight who snuck around and captured your que-"
Two arrows arched over the rocky wall and struck him from high above.

"Uggh….showoff," the Gemini rolled his eyes. He turned his head and noticed Athena's hands were pressing hard against her mouth at the sight before her. He did have a slight headache. He took his hand and felt around his scalp when his fingers pressed around the shaft. His eyes bulged. His fingers palpated around and it was clear that he did indeed have an arrow sticking out of his skull like some lone palm tree on a deserted island. "Well….fuck," he cursed to himself.
He folded his arms, waiting for Hades to drag his lazy ass out of Elysium to send him to hell where he rightfully belonged, only for the wind to casually blow.
An arrow through the skull wasn't exactly a wound one could expect to take two aspirin for, yet there he was, more annoyed than dying.
This couldn't be happening, but then again, after all, he's gone through this week, it certainly wasn't the weirdest thing to occur if he suddenly discovered he was dead all along.
He bit his lip. He's been suicidal for so long that he knew that if he didn't get this out, he wouldn't be able to fit in his coffin.
Experience taught him to push it forward, but for some reason, he could tell that it will come out just as easily if he simply pulled it out. He grasped the shaft and slowly pulled it out. It was a strange sensation and while it did hurt, it's not the burning stinging pain that would often accompany such a task. In fact, after practice, he would find himself needing to grip the archer's hand after practicing with wooden arrows. A cool sensation could be felt as the projectile left his cranium. At first, he thought blood would drip out, but he reached into his scalp and felt no hole or fluid.
He turned toward the arrow and gasped at its scarlet color, the same that reflected his friend's eyes. He could feel the dark energies flicker before it dissolved in a burst of crimson cosmos. But what did it do?
Not only that, but he was certain he felt two distinct strikes.
"Hey! What's going on?" called a voice. "By Athena! What happened to that little girl!"
"Shit." The Gemini thought to himself before he turned to see a third-ranked foot soldier carrying a spear standing before him. He didn't seem to rough around the edges and while he was of a decent rank, he wasn't an officer either. Perhaps a few words can cause him to leave the two alone and allow them to head to their destination.
He reached behind his back and opened a small Another Dimension portal. One of the reasons he kept his things heavily organized was to allow him to pull off something like this. A small blue wallet fell into his hand before he whipped it around and opened it up. He twisted it over and held up his fake ID. As long as he is open and cooperative, they won't question it. "I don't know! I was just with a tourist group when I heard this girl crying and ran to check it out. I've managed to stop the bleeding and I was going to run her into the village to see if she can get checked out. I think she fell, but she's mute."
The soldier turned as Athena nodded her head in agreement.
O|=================|O
Hunting is fun.
Target practice is fun.
"Hunting and target practice is very fun," he muttered. The archer sat upon the edge of the bed, his knuckles were white from gripping his bow too hard while his arm was covered in bruises and welts from an improper grip. Such bad techniques were telltale signs of an amateur. He thinks that part of him wanted to stop killing and there was a disconnect that despite him making every shot. Each time, he held it wrong, causing the drawstring to rub his arm wrong. It was like something from within was forcing it to be painful in hopes that he'll cease, but he just couldn't stop.
He narrowed his red eyes upon the blue hair. How strange, he struck him once in the head and once in heart yet he didn't seem any different. "Why didn't it work?" He spoke as he produced another red arrow and turned his head toward the soldier.
O|=================|O
"My unit is over there. Hercules LX has some equipment and a horse," the foot soldier reasoned.
It was tempting, but Aiolos wanted her out, and the sooner they got out of Rodario, the better. Saga waved his hand, "no, I think she'll be fine. Aren't you, sweetie?" He turned and Athena nodded her head. The Gemini lowered his head towards the foot soldier's ear, "Besides, she is very frightened. It took me over half an hour just to gain her trust and I don't want to lose it," he spoke as he walked over and grabbed the six-year-old's hand.
The foot soldier shook his head with greater insistence. "Why are you wearing a trainer?"
"A woman in a mask thought it was kinky..."
The soldier shook his head. "I don't think that..."
Saga frowned. "She had black hair and a horned helmet."
The soldier made an oh face. "Ah, that definitely sounds like her. But anyway, please forgive me, David. I don't care how long you've driven an ambulance, but that girl needs-"
*BAM*
The Gemini gasped as a red arrow struck the soldier dead center before he grabbed him and pulled him to the ground. "Are you alright!" he shouted. Normally, it would be a stupid question to ask after someone has been feathered in the center of their skull, but if it didn't hurt him, there could be a chance. He didn't know who this person was, but his heart was pounding at the thought of another victim. He took his hand and slapped his face, watching him grip the spot before the arrow suddenly dissolved upon his face leaving no mark behind. "Solomon?" He spoke. But gasped as his eyes slowly blinked, his brown eyes shifting from brown to red and back to brown. "David, have you seen Gemini Saga and the Goddess Athena?" he politely spoke with grim malice.
The third guardian gasped as he stared at the man's eyes. Even though they remained brown, if one stared hard and focused, there was a very faint glimmer that unfortunately could be mistaken for the lighting. Saga could already sense the curse off of him. While he should grab Athena and take off, a test was still in order especially if he was standing right in front of him.
He casually folded his arms, his face ladeled with disappointment. "I'm afraid not, Solomon. I haven't seen a single strand of his handsome head anywhere. Why do you ask?"
"He is to return to Sanctuary!"
Saga frowned. Clearly this was the command of the red arrow that was meant to betwitch him with earlier. "Why is he needed?"
"I don't know. Maybe he has a meeting?" the soldier shrugged.
Saga sighed. Clearly the Sagittarius is holding onto his word about not making it public beyond the twelve houses. This may be quite the game they have on their hands. "I heard he is over there," he randomly pointed and watched the guard ran off. The Gemini shook his head. Under normal circumstances, his act shouldn't work, but yet he blindly accepted his commands as if it was one step closer to find him. Not only that, but at that moment, he knew his name, a fact that would not be privy to someone as low as his rank.
O|=================|O
Aiolos watched the scene unfold. His sight allowed him to see the effects of the curse take hold, but still, the desired effect didn't come out the way he wanted it. Originally, he fired it at the Gemini and ordered him to come to Sanctuary and surrender with Athena safe and sound thus ending the grand game. Yet nothing happened. Things turned out better with the foot soldier, but he still didn't do as he was told. By the look of things, Saga was quite keen on this as well.
Try it on Athena. She will come back safe and-
"No, I hurt her once and I won't do it again. Goddess, how can I think of such a horrible thing?" he spoke, ashamed that such a thought would cross his mind, unaware that the curse was mingling with his subconscious and gradually shaping it.
The curse analyzed this act of defiance and suspected the archer's love for Athena was too great. It suspects that it was no accident that the Goddess didn't place herself in the path of the arrow.
It's true Master warned it of how cunning his sister truly was and should not be underestimated.
It changes its strategy to something that would pacify the archer.
You need to bring her back. She is in danger…
Aiolos shook his head. "He tried to heal her."
He tried to kill her, once. One foot soldier is not enough. You need more. Many more.
"More eyes on the ground. If he thinks he is safe beyond my reach, he is sadly mistaken." His eyes shifted toward the distance. His red eyes glowing.
More targets.
More fun.
They won't die.
They will become better.
Point…
Aim….
His hand reached over and grabbed a handful of Crimson Arrows, and prepped his bow. Now that he has a better idea of how Crimson Arrows worked.
O|=================|O
Saga turned to the sky as streaks of red filled it. Even though it would give his position away, the Gemini attempted to raise Another Dimension to divert the barrage of arrows, but the start-up was just too slow. What wasn't caught by the dimensional tear, struck a group of foot soldiers that Solomon was speaking about. Athena gasped at their screams of anguish cut through the air, their arms flailing with each projectile striking their bodies before the last of them fell and everything became dreadfully quiet.
Saga stood there paralyzed at the mess of bodies lying there.
How many times in the past did he awoke from a blackout and discovered the same thing?
He took a couple of steps forward until the arrows dissolved in a burst of red cosmos dust that floated off into the wind before everyone started getting up.
A foot soldier stood up as if nothing happened. He turned toward his comrade and quietly helped him up as he rubbed his face, wondering what had just happened. Suddenly his green eyes turned toward the blood-covered duo, unaware that it was the third guardian and the goddess. "A blue-haired man… a purple-haired little girl…." he began to chant. "I FOUND HIM! THE BLUE HAIRED MAN! THE PURPLE HAIRED GIRL!" he screamed before he took his spear and everyone blindly charged forward!"
Saga, not wishing to hurt them, opened Another Dimension underneath their boots and teleported them over to a village near Rodario. They were close enough to return back to town easily, but far enough to avoid being a nuisance. Saga drew his hand to his lip. There was a clear difference in how the first soldier reacted vs the second. If it was like him, Aiolos was testing his new abilities and already was refining them.
O|================|O
That was what he was doing. The archer sat quietly as if he was back in the woods, his body and hands were so still that moss could grow on his back. It worked a little better, but Saga could simply either dye their hair or use his light cosmos to bend the light and simply cause people to see a different shade of color upon their locks. This was trickier than he suspected. A pity he doesn't know where the men landed so he can see if his command to simply forget what had happened worked.
His eyes turned to the clock before he silently cursed to himself. He was so engrossed that he didn't realize how much time had passed. He still needed to think of what to do when AIolia comes back. At least his cosmos had dissipated around the room.
Clean the blood and blame Saga. He took Athena.
But little did the dagger know, was that he made a mistake, and underestimated Aiolos' devotion.
"He took Athena…away from here," Aiolos muttered, before a slight smile crept on his lips.
He jerked his head around. These thoughts. What does he do with all these thoughts? Why won't they end?
Look there. He's standing still.
A perfect clean shot.
Aiolos stared listlessly as his hand mechanically reached out into the pocket dimension and pulled out a Gold Arrow and brought it to his string with a lifeless red gaze before he shook his head and brought himself out of the blackout that had just occurred. What was he doing?
The archer turned. Saga just had to go a bit farther. Why is he just standing there? Why won't he fucking move out of range?
This was so much harder for the dagger when one didn't have human blood on their hands. Saga didn't give in until the death of Shion. After that, the slaughter was gloriously endless. All it had to do was push Aiolos to kill once and cross that moral line. Who better to die than the one who could end this?
Don't let him hurt your brother again.
Aiolos raised his bow. "Aiolia...you've suffered enough...I don't care if it is quick...you want him dead...I'll do it!" he laughed uncontrollably. This was so easy. Saga's head stood out to him like hitting the broadside of a building.
When he accepted the curse, he didn't realize how hard it was to resist it. He didn't have any training in this. "Point…. Aim….and fucking fire...it will be your face upon the wall!" he laughed maniacally.
Aiolos blinked, shocked at the words coming from his mouth. What is he doing? He needs to kill the traitor, but he had to stop and kill the traitor.
He shook his head wildly as his grip tightened, trying to hold the arrow in place so that he didn't let it go. Saga wasn't a traitor!
What does he do? He didn't know how to stop these terrible thoughts.
But then again…
O|================|O
TO BE A GEMINI II*
"Eight hours?" asked the nine-year-old archer as he sat on the beach across from the Gemini, his bare feet digging into the sand.
The nine-year-old older twin nodded as he leaned against the helmet of the Gemini. "I know it's a long time, but that's what's needed. The mind is a muscle and one can't do push-ups and expect it to be stronger, just like a person can't swim in a pool and expect their aim in archery to improve. Normally, I do it after you leave."
"What about Kanon? He's always out doing something."
Saga rolled his eyes. "You don't see him doing it, because he's lazy."
Aiolos nodded, smiling at the bit of brotherly sarcasm in Saga's voice. He knew the feeling. Aiolia started his training and half of his meditation sessions involved the Leo falling asleep halfway through. "Is it different beyond reflecting and relaxing?" he spoke since that was what his meditative sessions were.
The Gemini nodded and does his best to explain it in a way that the Sagittarius can understand. "You learn to craft mental barriers. Mental barriers are basically like...blocking a physical blow...except with your mind. With practice, just like blocking, you can throw one off the moment you feel your mind being attacked." He drummed his fingers. "Want to learn to create one?"
Aiolos rubbed his hand in his hair. "Uh...okay?" He clasped his hands, "Sure why not!" he spoke as he pulled his sandy toes out and folded his legs in the lotus position before closing his eyes. "Alright, what do I do?"
The Gemini brought his hands together. "Well, let's do an easy one. Now part of learning to...flex your mind, is to combine the logical with the illogical into something that is believable." Already he could tell he had lost him. "Alright close your eyes and listen carefully:
There is a dam.
(Okay)
The dam is about to break and you are standing in front of it. You can't run away because our loved ones will be killed if you allow it to break.
What do you do?
(I don't know.)
Remember, you combine the logical with the illogical.
(I...don't want them to die. So I guess I would hold it back.)
Perfect! Now, you're holding it back, but it is a really big dam and the stone around you is cracking.
What do you do?
(I'll ask others to help hold the other stones back)
Not bad, but that takes too much time that you don't have. Let me help you. This is your mind, you can change your form. You don't have just two hands, you can have hundreds of hands, each one pressing against the dam.
Saga watched the archer open his eyes. "Well?"
Aiolos nodded. "Did I do it?"
The Gemini shrugged. "Hard to say. I told you, it's just like blocking. You don't know if you did it right unless someone punches first. From what I've heard, especially if it is new to you, you get these cluster headaches that pulse. There are much better, more elaborate mental barriers.
"Like what?"
Saga raised a hand. "Some who have extremely elaborate telepathy can craft whole rooms or buildings with their mind thus forcing intruders to navigate them and slow them down or the opposite where an invader will craft a building and trap the person in a dream-like state where they believe that no matter how absurd everything is, they are forced to believe it and even lose all sense of time. It's a lot like the concept of a mind palace that was created by the Greek poet Simonides of Ceos and made popular by Sherlock Holmes. " He could see a gaze of confusion. "Anyways, you're just creating a simple wall, and it's not very good for the high-level dangers we have to face."
But Aiolos shook his head. "Well, throwing your hand in front of an oncoming knife is basic blocking, but if it keeps your head safe, it's still worth learning."
O|================|O
Twenty-year-old Aiolos swallowed hard as his eyes shifted toward Athena. Despite the distance, It was if she seemed to be staring back at him as if pleading him not to do it. "Imagine a dam, your family is behind you...hold the dam with hundreds of hands…" he muttered. "I have a hundred hands, I can hold the dam…"
He dropped the bow, the arrow tumbling to the floor. He threw his hands on his head as the equivalent of a club slamming into his skull came over him. He took his hand and touched his nose as blood came dripping out. The room spun and blurred before he collapsed onto the mattress.
It was a pathetic attempt. It reminded him on the first day Aiolia and him performed their first sparring session, where he kicked his little brother so hard that it was like he made a goal from the center field.
but damn it...
...he blocked it.
O|================|O
THE WHITE RABBIT II**
Saga turned to his hand. "Too soon," he thought back on the red arrows, for he did not discover the powers of the Emperor Fist until he was fifteen. He heard the whispers and the hundreds of voices urging him to use it. He remembered. Many times, despite being in the highest of positions, he still found it difficult to get others to follow his directions. The voices tried to lure him, but perhaps the Cloth of Gemini was warning him that they were not his thoughts and should not be trusted.
He wasn't sure that with the curse lifted from him if the technique could be used, but he dared not test that. Once inflicted, the person will not stop until someone is killed. However, the dagger warned him that it could only be used once. Aiolos easily inflicted a whole group as if it was some red plague that swept over. Not only that, but he wondered if it was an ability that grew stronger with time. That was something he was uncertain about, due to his resistance. He will definitely have to record this in his book once he reaches the House of Gemini.
He picked up Athena and hurried out. Even with a fucking cliff in between the two, somehow the archer can still hit them. Running over the broken stones at normal speed was such a pain though. His sandals kept rolling with each step as if the straps would give out. At least night was falling. Aiolos had good sight, but he didn't have night vision. As long as he kept his cosmos low, he won't be able to read it from afar either. His blue eyes kept shifting downwards. Her eyes stayed open, but he could tell that what she needed was a little rest and somewhere he can focus better for a longer period of time.
Saga turned upwards and gasped as he spotted a very familiar sight. He lifted the Goddess a bit to get her head to rest, facing his chest to avoid seeing the skeletal remains, the tattered headband hanging limply around its skull while the words traitor were carved deep into its forehead. He knew he would pass by this spot, but being weak of stomach, surprisingly, this has been the second time in five years he had come upon it.
"Hideous, isn't it? I can tell! Your face could be mistaken for snow at this point if it wasn't covered in so much blood," spoke a distant voice.
Saga turned his head at the shadowy figure with a bright red headband. For a moment his breath grew still. He's already been in a room where cats are conjured out of pockets and the celestial objects are manipulated by the flick of a light switch.
But it couldn't be him by the sheer proof of him standing.
He shook his head as the red tails blew in the air. "Are you real?"
The shadow raised his hand in the air. "Isn't it obvious?" He shook his head and snapped, illuminating his yellow cosmos. "Can I have my prosthetic arm back?"

O|======================|O
Managed to write a quick update. I figured since deleted the Love You, Stab Me chapter, bumped the fic up, I should produce something. I was surprised, but sometimes the creativity is there and things flow.
Now while there is a plan for the scenes that take place in the present, I'm a little shaky on the stuff that happened in the past since dumping the whole plotline involving what happened before "The Event." The hard part is that as you can see, old plotlines and setups are starting to converge a lot more. It's tricky. While I did manage to crank this out, chapters take a lot of time and love to make.
I hope things aren't too confusing. The beginning of this is cryptic, but that's the point.
