Chapter 16: Wind Daimyo Death.
( Wind Country, Wind Daimyo castle)
It was night time, 10 o clock Pm.
Kabuto moved swiftly, now in his Root Anbu armor. Wearing what Orochimaru had gave him. The mission was simple. Impersonate a Root Anbu and kill the Wind Daimyo, which could pin the blame on Danzo of the leaf village.
As he silently entered in the castle undetected and unnoticed. At this certain hour The Wind Daimyo would be in his chambers sleep.
Kabuto turned and saw two Samurai's guarding the doors to his entrance.
He created a Shadowclone as it henged as one of the Daimyo's Samurai.
The clone walked towards the two who are guarding the wind Daimyo's bedroom.
"Halt." Said the First Samurai.
"Greetings sirs. The Commander has sent me to inform the two of you that he needs to see you both right away." Said the Clone with both Samurai's tilting their heads slightly.
"The commander? What could he want with us? We're supposed to be guarding the Wind Daimyo." Says the Second Samurai
"He says it's urgent. He wishes to discuss your promotion." The clone says with Both Samurai's beaming at that.
"Really? We going to be promoted? Let's go! You think you can guard the wind Daimyo." Says the First Samurai as the clone fake Samurai nodded. As the two began to see their commander while the clone stood at the door seeing them leave, It quickly beckoned Kabuto to come out as Kabuto headed on in inside the bedroom.
Now inside kabuto pulls out a Tanto. Arching over to the wind daimyo who was sleep.
It's a shame that the Wind Daimyo had no Guardian 12 like warriors as his special bodyguards he did not need them because he relied so much on his Samurai. preparing the blade Kabuto stabbed the Wind Daimyo in the chest causing him to wake up and spat blood at Kabuto's blank mask. As he gurgled his own blood and died with wide eyes.
After he had done the deed, a Maiden came to bring the daimyo fresh Sake. Only to widen her eyes at the sight before her and screamed so loud that Kabuto turned and saw her.
"Perfect. A witness." He says as he jumped out the window happy that he completed his mission.
The samurai instantly arrived at the scene including the commander.
"What happened!? Speak woman!" the Commander bellows
"It was a masked Shinobi with a blank white mask!he killed the Daimyo!" She yelled as all samurai's tensed.
The commander turned around and glared at the other two Samurai's who were supposed to be guarding their lord.
"I will deal with you two later! Get out of my sight!" shouted the Commander as the two flinched knowing they done fucked up.
"LOCKDOWN ALL GATES! PUT THE WHOLE WIND COUNTY CAPITAL ON LOCKDOWN! AND FIND THE SHINOBI THAT DID THIS! LOOK EVERYWHERE!" He yelled giving out the order as all Samurai instantly scrambled.
"What's going on Commander?" asked the Younger brother of the Wind Daimyo who arrived also.
"Your older brother has been assassinated my lord. He was killed by a Shinobi with a blank mask." Replied the Commander as the brother gasped.
All samurai's had searched high and low for the assassin that killed their lord. Only to find no luck at all. It was a manhunt, the capital of wind country was under immediate lockdown.
Still no sight of the assassin.
Two days later the Brother was placed on the throne and had informed Suna of the situation.
He had told the Kazekage about the description of the Shinobi who killed his brother. The Kazekage has no shinobi who wears blank masks and a cloak but he did tell the new daimyo who did though.
Konoha the leaf village.
Root Anbu. Had assassinated the Wind Daimyo.
Having heard it the Wind Daimyo decides to fund suna and no longer send Konoha anymore missions and decides to speak to the Fire Daimyo about this incident.
After having a personal talk with the fire daimyo the news had spread.
The fire daimyo was very furious and had summoned Hiruzen and chewed out the old Hokage.
( Hokage Tower, Konoha 2 days later)
In the Hokage Tower Hiruzen Sarutobi the 3rd Hokage was in his office and with him were his 3 old teammates Homura Mitokkado, Koharu Utatane and Danzo Shimura as he had called them to his office with some bad news and he said.
"Thank you three for coming I have some bad news and worst news the Wind Daimyo has been killed or to be more precise he was assassinated." Hiruzen says As all three of the advisors were shocked to hear this as they all know that the former Wind Daimyo wasn't very well loved by his own people but that someone had killed him was shocking to hear as they knew that the man was just as well protected just like their own Daimyo so it would be impossible to be able to kill him.
"How is that possible? what were all of his guardian ninjas doing when their lord was killed?." Homura asked
"It appears that the former Wind Daimyo had fired and removed all of his guardian ninjas from the capital and only relied on his samurai to protect him." Hiruzen Answered
all 3 of the advisors were shocked to hear this they couldn't believe that the former Wind Daimyo was this stupid while the samurai were good but they couldn't protect their lord from ninja assassins who could us stealth to get in, do the deed and get out without any one noticing
"Who is now going to rule Wind Country?." Asks Koharu with Hiruzen sighing
"Since the former Wind Daimyo wasn't married he had no children to succeed him his younger brother has assented to the throne in a few days ago and his first order was to refund the Sand Village again that his older Brother wasn't willing to do and all the missions that the former Wind Daimyo was sending to us are now all going back to the Sand." Hiruzen answered while Danzo frowned.
Danzo who wasn't happy to hear this as he and the others know very well how greedy the former Wind Daimyo was and that he was ruining his own Ninja Village without him using the Sharingan eye of Shisui Uchiha on him in order to weaken the Sand why would Danzo waste his time in influencing the former Wind Daimyo using his stolen Sharingan eye from Shisui Uchiha when the greedy fool is doing that for him on his own and when the Sand was to be denounced as a ninja village he was going to send his Root Ninjas to steal all their jutsus and secrets.
"Did you know who has killed the former Wind Daimyo?." Danzo asked wanting to know.
"Yes the one who has killed the former Wind Daimyo was reported to be dressed as a Root ninja." Hiruzen looks at Danzo with narrowed eye
Homura and Koharu were both shocked to hear this and they both looked towards Danzo and Danzo while he wasn't showing it on the outside but on the inside his was surprised to hear this and Danzo knows that both Homura and Koharu had sided with him more then they did with Hiruzen on certain important decisions and he knew that they would support him in this.
"That's impossible Root has been disband and I never give the order to have the former Wind Daimyo assassinated." Danzo says as that was a half truth as Danzo had never indeed ordered the death of the former Wind Daimyo but he had never disband Root and keep it active in secret right under his old rivals nose
"And how can I be sure of that is even true Danzo because you always went behind my back on certain things that I didn't agree with you and my other advisors you always had send out your Root ninjas to do what you had ordered them to do behind my back and for all I know is that you could have kept Root active in secret and had the former Wind Daimyo assassinated." Hiruzen accused while Danzo still had a Calm cold look.
"What I have ordered my Root to do in the past has always been for the good of the Leaf Village Root is no more and the ones that remain are now part of my own private security force and I am telling you Hiruzen I didn't order the assassination of the former Wind Daimyo." Danzo says not happy that he was blamed for something he didn't do.
"He is telling you the truth Hiruzen you had ordered Danzo to disband Root and the only once that remain are the once who serve as Danzo bodyguards but I also have to agree with Hiruzen Danzo you always went behind the Hokage's back on certain thing that he or we didn't agree to and there was a reason for that and had to except that."Says Homura
"I have to agree with Homura on that Danzo. what Hiruzen said no on certain things that you were arguing against him and that you or we couldn't convince him to see your way you went behind his back and ordered your Root Ninjas to still do the deed but I also have to agree with you Hiruzen have ordered Danzo to disband Root and that Root is no more and Danzo is innocent in this someone else is trying to frame him." Koharu would say with Hiruzen still frowning and glaring at Danzo.
"Maybe, maybe not but Jiraiya is already having some of his spies look into the assassination of the former Wind Daimyo but until then I have no choice but to place Danzo under house arrest, suspend him from any and all counsel meetings and start a full investigation into him." Hiruzen Declared.
all 3 of the advisors were shocked to hear this and
"Hiruzen I am innocent I didn't give the order and whoever it was that killed the former Wind Daimyo was a fake Root ninja and I doubt that armor, gear and mask that he wore wasn't accurate." Danzo protested.
"I am sorry Danzo but the report stated that the person who had killed the former Wind Daimyo was wearing the same armor, gear and mask that all of your Root ninjas wore was very identical and accurate to the point and unless you know of a suspect that has both the power, means and ability to frame you I would like to hear it otherwise my hands are tied and I have no choice but to place you under house arrest." Hiruzen would say
Danzo was now thinking on who could have done it to frame him but the problem was he had made so many enemies over the years that it was impossible for him to think of which one was the one who could have done it there are a lot of people after his head that wouldn't hesitate to try and frame him but they could never imitate the Root uniform as Danzo had made sure it was one of a kind and very hard to imitate.
"And that has always been the problem with you Danzo you're always getting us more enemies then that both you and the Leaf can put down and because of that I have no other choice but to place you under house arrest, suspend you from any and all counsel meetings and start a full investigation into you I am sorry Danzo but my hands are tied in this." Hiruzen had said with authority
"Hiruzen I can't believe you are doing this these accusations being made against Danzo are nothing more than just empty lies meant to smear the honor of one of our oldest comrades and friends Danzo is a true patriot of the Leaf sure that he has his faults I will not deny that but he as always done things for the greater good of the Leaf you can't expect us to believe those so-called lies Homura and I would bet our very lives on it that Danzo is being framed for the for former Wind Daimyo's murder." Koharu protested with Hiruzen looking at her.
"Then both you and Homura can go to the Fire Capital and plead your case to the Fire Daimyo himself because the order came from him personally." He says.
all 3 of the advisors were shocked to hear that the order to place Danzo under house arrest, suspend him from any and all counsel meetings and start a full investigation into him came form the Fire Daimyo himself while that both Homura and Koharu knew that they could sway their way and convince other people with their silver tongues but dealing on the level of that against their own Fire Daimyo was something they were out their league as the Fire Lord wasn't weak minded and is not easy to control or fool, and as the order came from the man himself their was little to nothing they could do to convince him that Danzo is innocent without proof as it was only their words against the proof that was shown to him and that also made it difficult to lie to him
"So when you said that your hands were tied you were ordered by the Fire Lord to do this?."Homura couldn't help but ask as Hiruzen nods
"I am afraid so and like I said Jiraiya is having some his spies looking into it but it isn't looking good and that's not even the worse news the news of the former Wind Daimyo's assassination at the hands of a Root ninja have spread out to fast then Jiraiya's spies could contain it and not only are all the missions that the former Wind Daimyo send to us instead of the Sand are going back to the Sand but almost all of our mission requests from our clients are now being call back and are going to some of the minor Ninja Villages like Grass, Rain and Waterfall but are also going to the major Ninja Villages of Stone, Cloud and Sand so we will be looking at some hard times for a while." Says Hiruzen clearly not happy with all of this and wondered how did such a thing like this happen
all 3 of the advisors were shocked to hear that almost all their mission requests from their clients are now being call back and are going to the minor Ninja Villages and major Ninja Villages because of someone impersonating a Root ninja had killed the former Wind Daimyo and that they were going to be looking at some hard times was not good and even so when the Chunin Exams are going to be held here soon.
"Any news about our missing Jinchuriki?." Danzo asks while angry and not happy about the situation he is in
"Still nothing Jiraiya is now checking with his spies to see it they have a lead on him." Hiruzen says with a sigh.
"This meeting is dismissed." the Hokage says as all three of them had left.
The Sandaime felt like he was getting much older having to deal with this. Naruto is still out there missing, the wind daimyo had been assassinated and their missions are being returned.
How did this happen?
( Sound Village)
Orochimaru looking through documents in her office when there was a knock on the door that told her someone wanted to see her and she called in who wanted to talk to her and Guren come in with a file in her arm.
"I am sorry for disturbing you lady Orochimaru but a report came in from Kabuto in the Leaf." Guren says
"Go ahead." She says
"Well first and for most Kabuto is sending his apologies for giving you this report in person as the 3rd Hokage has put the village in a lock down so he couldn't leave without raisin suspicion for coming to see you as he is still at Genin level." she says seeing her master nod she continues.
"Well the reason the Leaf Village is in lock down is that fact that word has reach them that the former Wind Daimyo was killed by a Root ninja and fingers are pointing towards Danzo and on the order of the Fire Daimyo the 3rd Hokage was forced to place Danzo under house arrest, suspend him from any and all counsel meetings and start a full investigation into him." Guren says with Orochimaru smiling
"Really the Fire Daimyo has ordered sensei to do that to Danzo oh I almost feel sorry for poor old fool Danzo almost and especially that his 2 friends Homaru and Koharu will be powerless to help him." Orochimaru says with a smile pleased with this and couldn't wait to tell Naruto.
"That's not all lady Orochimaru it seams that Naruto's idea had some unexpected results in pinning the murder of the former Wind Daimyo."She says while she was blushing as she thought back when she had first seen him making her master have a look of curiosity
"In what way Guren? Is that a blush I see do you have a thing for Naruto?" as Orochimaru had seen a lot girls in sound blushing at seeing Naruto like Kin, Guren, Karin and even Tayuya of the sound 5 not that she would ever admit it of course.
"Sorry my lady but I can't help it he is so handsome but anyway form the reports form both Kabuto and our spies everywhere have told us almost all of the Leafs mission requests from their clients are now being call back and are going to some of the minor Ninja Villages like Grass, Rain, Waterfall even here to Sound but are also going to the major Ninja Villages of Stone, Cloud and Sand so they will be looking at some hard times for a while." Guren answered
"And right before that the Chunin Exams are going to take part in the Leaf oh I really have to give it to Naruto he really had the bright idea in framing Danzo for the murder of the former Wind Daimyo on him not only is he under house arrest but the Leaf has almost lost all of their missions the Sand gets their funding and missions back and I can get my alliance with them but still if I know that old warhawk as well as I know him he is going to contact his Root spies to look into who has framed him for this and he is even going as far as to pin the murder of the former Wind Daimyo on someone else to get the heat off his back." She says with narrowed eyes
"Well, then this might be of some use to you to counteract that Kabuto was able to sneak into Danzo's Root base and found the list of all the Root spies and their whereabouts over the Elemental countries with even orders to not only spy but also to a hit squad to kill a target when ordered." Guren added. as Guren give Orochimaru the file she looks through it then closes it gives it back to Guren and looks at her.
"Make copies of this Guren and send out to every place where these Root spies are hidden with the message that they are Root spies and hit squads to be eliminated as soon as possible and mark the sender as unanimous I want Danzo to feel like a cornered Rat with a hungry tiger breathing down his neck." She ordered
"I will get right to it my lady." Guren says walking away leaving Orochimaru to her thoughts.
( With Naruto)
Now watching bio weapons train the DangerRoom seeing them work together fighting against mercenaries, Shinobi and tyrants along with the Hunters.
Frederika opened fire with her mounted Gattling gun arm shooting at many Shinobi and Mercenaries. With Biollante lashing her thorn whip at the simulated enemies lashing them in half or bisected them with her thorned whip.
Riptor breathes fire at mercenaries then savagely lunges at them and rips them to shreds with her claws and teeth.
Dingodile cackling unleashing wide flames from his flamethrower burning tyrants and Shinobi.
King and Armor King preformed a few taijutsu based attacked and began wrecking each enemy with their brute force and strength. With their teamwork combined they are both a unstoppable pair.
Monet dives down and hardened her talons in black like armament and slashed across the tyrant's as she looked at the defeated enemies licking her lips.
Hitomi was in her Honey badger form and extended her claws to slashed apart all that stood in her way.
Israbi used her trident stabbing, jabbing and slashing at Zombies.
Killer Croc ripped a few Shinobi's with his strength and crushed them with his monster like strength and smacked his tail against one of them, growling Beast like.
Anubis the Wolf like Inuzuka growled and lunged forward lashing his tail like spear across the enemy mercenaries and Shinobi then bite down on their neck ripping it out.
Lucy was surrounded by Hunter alpha's Beta's and Gamma's as she summoned her vectors and bisected all of them tearing them to pieces and slicing them.
Naruto having watched the whole thing was impressed. They are progressing much better. Maria is still keeping him posted on cybernetics having machines as Allies.
"Fascinating. Are they." Connors says in his Lizard form.
"Yes. How's that new medical project coming along with the ability to heal and grow new limbs?" Naruto asks his assistant
"Still in progress. Recently mixed the K-Virus with it. Soon I will test it on a Rat and see will it make any progress." Dr. Connors say. With Naruto nodding.
"Well I'll be going." Family meeting." Naruto would say as Connors nodded.
( Old Chapel at night)
Back at the old Chapel there who stood on the Alter is Mother Miranda. Who glanced at Dimitresu and Naruto who stood with her daughters.
Across from House Dimitresu was Heisenberg, besides the man was Moreau.
On the right side of Dimitresu is Donna and Angie.
"So. Young Naruto. Dimitresu has told me that you are to enter these Chunin exams to show off your strength and determine that you are ready to be 5th Lord?" Says Mother Miranda watching the boy closely
"Yes. It's a tournament. I've allied myself with a friend who can get me in to the tournament and her name is Orochimaru. I've already decided on how I should enter. By changing my appearance and use a fake name. If I were to win these Chunin exams would that be good enough to show you that I am ready to become 5th lord so that House of Uzumaki can be finally brought up in its glory mother Miranda." Naruto says with the four lords glancing at Mother Miranda who kept her neutral look on Naruto
"Hmm. Very well. You will inform us when will the exams start so that we could witness it with our own eyes." Mother Miranda would say
"I promise I will inform you." He assured as she nodded.
"Any objections?" Mother Miranda would say looking at the other four lords.
Heisenberg would have made a objection but he decided to remain silent. He wanted to witness this event himself and see just what this grandson of Wesker made of.
Silence from all of them.
"I see. Then it's settled when the final part of the exams do show. We will be there to witness it and determine if you are fit to be 5th Lord." Miranda says as Naruto nodded.
"This meeting is over." Miranda says as the others had decided to depart.
Naruto himself smiled. As soon as he gets home he is going to give himself a make over and start training with his team for the exams. Pleased that his plans are going perfectly.
( Elsewhere)
"So this is the Elemental Nations..." Says Ada Wong as she and Hunk arrived here by boat as the Woman held her Crossbow with Hunk holding his trademark MP5 submachine gun.
"It must be. We are looking for Wesker's grandson are we not?" Hunk says
"Of course we are. All we have to do is find him." Ada says with a smile that never left her face.
( Konoha at the moment)
Danzo was seething. Upset that he is being framed for something that he did not do. Now under house arrest. Or is he.
He wasn't at his house, he actually left a Shadowclone there to make them think he's actually there.
He glared. Wondering who is responsible for putting him in this situation. He's aware he made lots of enemies and wishes to do everything in their power to corner him and attack him.
The old Warhawk is currently in his Root base which is underneath Konoha itself.
But again. Who is framing him? It could be anyone? Damn that person to hell.
The Warhawk is already doing secret operations in the shadows. So that when the time comes he can possibly overthrow Hiruzen and take the mantle as 5th Hokage and then he could rule all.
But he can't do much of anything now with Hiruzen keeping a watchful eye on him. The best he could do is just wait. Wait until everything plays out and then find out the person who framed him.
