Chapter17: To the Exams Part 1.

( Konoha)

Kakashi was sighing at the sight of his Genin team were arguing again and thought.

"Oh not again"

His Genin team was not progressing like he had hope they would even their C turned to A rank mission had not improved their teamwork or team dynamics the Chunin Exams are coming up fast and his team isn't anywhere near ready for the exams

His first student Sasuke and while he had to admit that Sasuke had a lot of talent and saw a lot of himself in him he a prodigy and he is also the Rookie of the Year of his graduating class at the Academy this year but Sasuke was a arrogant, spoiled, self centered, broody emo driven by revenge to kill his older brother Itachi for killing the whole Uchiha Clan who thinks that he and his clan are superior to everyone and both the elders and the civilian counsel weren't helping his current behavior and attitude as they keep inflating his ego and spoiling and pampering him in everything and that made lone wolf that doesn't want to work with anyone and with their encounter with this Wesker guy that had stolen their mission in Wave had made Sasuke demand that he give him more training and taught him more Jutsus so that he could prove to this Wesker how superior he was towards him the next time they meet him

His second student Sakura is a die hard Uchiha fangirl who spends more time looking in a mirror making herself look good for her precious Sasuke instead of taking her training and the live of the Ninja serious and and was acting more like a cheerleader then a Kunoichi at first Kakashi had seen a lot of his old teammate Rin in Sakura but the only downside is that where Rin always took her training and the live of the Ninja very serious Sakura doesn't and while he would admit she shows great strength and almost perfect Chakra control but her ninja skills are way below Genin level and only got this far with only her book smarts and a little talent and a lot of luck but she only wants to work with Sasuke and with no one else.

And his third and final student Sai he always has the fake smile on his face and he showed no emotions whatsoever and while his Ink Jutsus are great and helpful and that he is willing to work with his teammates but his social skills need a lot of work as he had serious issues in interacting with people namely calling Sakura ugly and Sasuke dickless.

all in all this team was a disaster from the start as they had barely passed his bell test and Kakashi was really tempted to fail them but he knows that both the elders and the civilian council would make sure that he would pass this team even if they passed the bell test or not as Sasuke would complain to both the elders and the civilian council for not passing the test and becoming a ninja and that Sakura would back him up in this just to score brownie points with him

He sees Sakura punch Sai in the face again for calling Sasuke dickless again as he groans and thought

"Why me? why couldn't it been Naruto on my team instead of Sai? it's just a shame that he disappeared 6 years ago he would have been perfect for this team at least I think he would been perfect for it."

After a long day of training and doing D rank missions as those were some of the only missions that were left in the village since all their mission requests have been called back by most of their clients and are going to the some of minor Ninja Villages and to the other major Ninja Villages when the news got out that a Root Ninja had killed the former Wind Daimyo as Root was once Leaf Village Anbu devision that was disband by the 3rd Hokage years ago that was under the control of Danzo who is now placed under house arrest and the village is now looking at some hard times with very little missions coming in these days they were lucky that the Fire Daimyo didn't cut any funding to the village so close to the Chunin Exams as the lost of almost all of their missions was punishment enough to the Fire Daimyo Kakashi dismissed his 3 students he went to a bar to meet up with the other Jonin senseis

walking into the bar he sees the other Jonin senseis they are Kurenai Yuhi the sensei of team 8 team, the Asuma Sarutobi the sensei of team 10 and Maito Gai the sensei of team 9 after Kakashi sits down.

"Ah my youthful comrades how are your teams doing? and are you going to enter them for the Chunin Exams this year?." Says Guy as he has been a sensei for a whole year longer then Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma were

"My team is doing fine but there are still a few kinks to work out Hinata is still a little on the shy side as the more traditional members of the Hyuga Clan don't hold the girl in high regrades but her father Lord Hiashi is doing his best to support her as mush as he can in the background he maybe strict to her when in training but he has to keep up his appearances around the more traditional members of the Hyuga Clan but she is determent to become better, Shino I don't have any problems with but Kiba is another story he a pervert and a horn dog with his secret leering at Hinata and my ass when he thinks no one is watching and he is arrogant as he thinks himself as a alpha dog that he should lead and has a temper that makes him head into a fight head first without thinking of a plan or a back up plan normally I was planning to wait for a full year before nominating them for the Chunin Exams to work out the kinks but now with the lost of almost all of our missions I going to nominate them this year so I am trying to work out the kinks as much as I can." Kurenai Yuhi would say looking at Asuma.

"My generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho is a mess Ino is overall bossy and whiny when it comes to training as she is a Uchiha fangirl and that she is stuck with both Shikamaru and Choji as teammates but she is willing to work with her teammates and to be a better ninja if only to impress the Uchiha, Shikamaru is lazy prefers to either sleep or watch the clouds all day long or play a few games of Shogi and find everything and anything to troublesome and a drag to do something and Choji only seems to care about food and stuffing his stomach and while they all work great together it isn't at the same level as the team of their fathers is at now and they are nowhere near ready for a C rank mission normally I was planning to wait for maybe 2 or 3 years before I nominate them for the Chunin Exams to try and whip them into shape but with the decline in our missions thanks to Danzo for having his Root assassinate the former Wind Daimyo I going to nominate them this year just so we could get a increase in our missions again." Asuma says with a sigh. Kakashi groans

"My team is nothing but a disaster Sasuke is arrogant, self centered that is spoiled and pampered too much by both the elders and the Civilian Counsel and is a lone wolf wants to do things alone by himself and doesn't want to except the help of others, Sakura is a hardcore Uchiha fangirl that would rather cheer him on then to do any training herself and only wants to work with Sasuke and Sai has no social skills whatsoever and is giving people nicknames that is not helping in his interactions with his teammates and others they are barely showing any of the fundamentals of teamwork I had hoped that would changed during our C turned to A rank mission but that didn't happen and even now their teamwork or team dynamics are not progressing or improving in the way I like had hope it would now normally I wouldn't nominate them for the Chunin Exams at all until get them to improve their teamwork and trust and Sakura to be a better ninja but I know that Sasuke is going to complain to both the Elders and the Civilian Council who are going to force me to let my team participate in the Chunin Exams even if they are not ready for it." Kakashi would say looking disappointed

"My team is doing very well I have waited a full year for them to gain the experience need to face the trails of the Chunin Exams this year hey did you guys heard the latests news about Danzo?." Guy would say

"You mean the news about a unanimous source has expose the fact that Danzo never disbanded Root and had Root spies all over the Elemental Countries that also secret hit squads and that they are finding a lot of discriminating evidence in all of their hideout against him of what he has done in the shadows over the years? Yes I heard about that too." Kakashi says looking at his rival

"Difficult not to as dad is already dealing with one headache after another with Danzo's actions and in dealing with the Fire Daimyo who wasn't happy that dad didn't make sure if Danzo had really disbanded Root like had ordered to do it and with all the discriminating evidence against him of what he has done in the shadows over the years being send to our Fire Lord to look over its not looking good for Danzo even with Homaru and Koharu trying to defend him but their support and excuses for Danzo don't hold a lot of power against all the evidence showed to our Fire Lord. We are lucky that the Fire Daimyo didn't cut our funding as we are so close that Chunin Exams are being held here this year but after the Chunin Exams I don't what will happen but the biggest headache that both my dad and his 2 advisors Homaru and Koharu have to deal with is the Hyuga Clan demanding Danzo's head as the Cloud Ninja Ambassador who had started the Hyuga Cloud incident was reviled that he was actually one of Danzo's Root spies who was ordered by Danzo himself to do the deed because Danzo wanted to force the Cloud to give our village one of 2 Jinchuriki that the Cloud has but the plan backfired on him as dad had give in to the request to exchanged the life of Lord Hiashi's brother who volunteered to sacrifice himself for his brother just to prevent a war from happening but still keep the plan if another chance presented itself to try it again to get one of 2 Jinchuriki of the Cloud Village." Asuma says with a sigh while taking a drag from his cigarette

"Tell me about it both Gai and I were there together with both our teams when a Cloud Ninja came to the Hyuga compound to show the evidence to both Lord Haishi and the Hyuga council they found in the secret Root base in the Cloud Village and lets just say that both Lord Haishi and the Hyuga council weren't happy that they were used as pawns in Danzo schemes to get more power and that Lord Hiashi's twin brother Hizashi had to sacrifice himself for nothing but a lie made by Danzo to get a extra Jinchuriki into the village Gai how is Neji doing by way after finding out that it was because of Danzo that his father had to sacrifice himself to save his brother's life for nothing but a lie made by him?." Kurenai asks looking to him.

"After getting over his shock he was quite angry at what Danzo had done that night years ago and while his hatred for the main branch has diminished to only toward the more traditional members who support the use of the Cage Bird Seal he even apologize to both his Uncle and cousins for hating them and all the main branch who didn't support the use of the Cage Bird Seal Lord Haishi even give him a letter that was of his father written on the day he died he has even dropped his fate controls everything attitude and is now building up better ties to his family and teammates but I know that Lord hiashi wants Danzo to pay for what he has done to his family and clan for starting this Hyuga Cloud incident and he even threatened to relocate his clan to Cloud Village if the Hyuga Clan doesn't get justice soon but a letter from our Fire Lord that said that more and more evidence of Danzo's illegal pass actions coming to light it might be soon that Danzo is going to executed for his crimes and they are also doing a full scale investigation into him by the order of our Fire Daimyo I know that both Homaru and Koharu are doing everything in their power to prevent that from happening but their power isn't going to do much against the order of our Fire Lord." Guy said looking straight at the Jonin. With Kakashi sighing and closing his one eye.

"And they will have no choice but to obey our Fire Lord's command if they don't want a war to start that the Leaf can't win as not even our own allies will side with us with what Danzo has done over the years in secret behind the Hokage's back with his Root Anbu that he never disband it only thanks to Jiraiya's spy network that our enemies didn't find out that our village is without a Jinchuriki for the past 6 years or else we would be in much bigger problems then we are already in right now." Kakashi says seeing them nod with Kurenai now talking

Kurenai would say thinking of the time her Student would think of Naruto.

Chris was at his desk filling his daily paperwork then there was a knock on his door he called in who wanted to speak with him and he saw it was his old friend Leon S Kennedy a agent of the DSO and a fellow surviver of Raccoon City who walked in with a file in his hand

"Leon its been a while how have you been?." Chris would say.

"I am good Chris but unfortunately I didn't come here to pay a social visit to see a old friend." Leon would reply

Chris could tell what Leon wanted to talk about was serious and if the events in Raccoon City didn't happen there was no doubt in Chris his mind that Leon would have been a member of the STARS in a few years and Chris asks

"Okay what is this about?."

Leon opened the file pulls out 2 photos and show them to Chris it was 1 picture of Ada Wong, and 1 picture of Hunk and Leon says

"About 2 days ago DSO got a alert from one of our agents in Japan that both Ada and Hunk were in Japan where they bought themselves a small boat under 2 different aliases and were heading towards the Elemental Nations but when they arrived in the Elemental nations we lost all track of them why they would be there we don't know but the President wanted me to inform you and the BSAA of this that you had a idea of what is going on as there is one man that Ada and Hunk show their loyalty to is Albert Wesker and from what I know is that Jake Muller isn't following in his father's footsteps and his second son Minato Namikaze died about 12 years ago." Leon says with Chris now realizing what Ada is doing. Even

"Oh shit she must have found out about this somehow." Chris says now putting two and two together.

Chris looks at Leon and sighsand says "Wesker has a grandson through his second son Minato."

"What but I thought you informed us that Minato didn't have any children when he died 12 years ago that was what Jiraiya said when his village was attacked by a 9 Tailed Fox?." Leon Asks now widening his eyes.

Chris sighs and says "That's what he told me but he left a lot of information out of it." As Chris told Leon what Jiraiya had told him about Minato's son Naruto and when he was done Leon asks

"Are sure you can leave this to Jiraiya to find his godson within the last month of the 2 month deadline you give him?." as he wasn't sure about this man could find Wesker's grandson given that Wesker was very good in leaving no trace of him behind in where he was going

"Jiraiya thinks he can do it he and his old mentor made sure to keep a eye on Minato when he grow up in Leaf Village and Jiraiya has his own spy network that can help him find him and hopefully he can make Minato's son stop following in his grandfather's footsteps." Chris says keeping his eyes on Leon.

but Leon wasn't convince and he says

"Chris with all due respect Jiraiya is a man child who is a idiot who can't stand being in the shadows of others, who spends most of his time peeping in on women in the hot springs and bath houses for his inspiration and research to write his badly written porn books that only perverts would like to read and gets beaten up by the women he is peeping on when they notice he is peeping on them and can get their hands on him before he can get away from said women and I wouldn't be surprised if he would even peep in on Jill, Rebecca, Sheeva, Sherry or your sister Claire if they or any other of the women in the BSAA or the DSO were in the hot springs of the Elemental Nations and would also put them in one of his badly written books and he is a leech smoothing off others like a parasite and would rather spent their money instead of his own if he goes to the brothels in the red light districts or to the bars he maybe a Ninja, a spy master for the Leaf Village and a agent for the BSAA but I wouldn't trust him to be the uncle of the godfather to one of my daughter." Leon would say

Chris couldn't help but wince at that because it was true and even Chris knows that all to well Jiraiya cares more about his vices than to help train others because all he did was dump a lot of materials on the laps of his students and tell them to figure it out all the while he is going to peep on women in the hot springs and he would even steal their hard earned money to spend it on himself on whores in the brothels in the red light districts or on drinks at the bars but Chris knows that when things got serious Jiraiya would take things serious enough to put his usual behavior on hold until it was over and he says.

"Acknowledged. I will." Leon nodded and left leaving Chris alone.

Chris sat there knowing a couple of friends are coming to handle Wesker's grandson should Jiraiya fail.

Jill, Barry, Sheeva, Sherry birkin, Carlos Olivera, Rebecca, Helena, Claire and STARS Charlie Team.

They are getting prepared for what's coming.

Chris is already asking for a whole army of BSAA soldiers to be transferred to the Japan branch of BSAA so when the time comes they'll be ready.

( Elsewhere in the Elemental Nations)

The land is terraforming. With nothing but Purple Crystals. More of those purple faceless creatures, zombie Shinobi and Kunoichi's rose from the dead, along with a heavily armored Zombie with a arm cannon, plague hounds and hellhounds flanking and pacing around this infected horde.

The giant crystal began to expand and grow more it plunged itself deeper into the earth.

Jiraiya really needed a drink right now oh boy he really needed one right now as his search for Naruto is now more difficult then ever with his spy network stretch to thin right now and all because that Danzo had one of his Root agents kill the former Wind Daimyo and now he is dealing with the fallout of it as not only had the news about the murder of the former Wind Daimyo at the hand of a Root ninja spread out too fast then spies could contain it the Leaf had lost almost all of their missions form almost all of their clients but a unanimous source has expose all of Danzo's Root spies that showed that he still kept Root active in the shadows in secret and they are finding a lot of evidence in those Root spies hideouts that is losing the village their allies and his spies are now working over time to do damage control and problem solving in order to save the Leaf reputation and good name and that means he had a lot of his spies diverted from searching for Naruto to investigate the former Wind Daimyo's murder to limiting the Leaf's good name being tarnished

Jiraiya knew all the problems started 6 years ago when Naruto went missing he had chewed his sensei out for choosing Anbu who hated the brat for holding the fox and would rather see him death the to be their weapon and well he was in with his sensei's plans for Naruto with stunning his growth and intelligence with beating the brat into submission and that his intelligence wouldn't grow to strong like his father or even his grandfather but Jiraiya had his doubts about that if that would work from the start hell his sensei was even going to allow the Academy to sabotage Naruto's education as much as possible to turn him into the dead less of his class and then had his Jonin sensei keep him at a specific level to make sure he was both controllable and easy to subdue but again Jiraiya had his doubts about that if that would work from the start he had even created special seals in order to stun Naruto's intelligence

But Naruto had disappeared with no trace of him and for 6 long year he has been searching high and low all over the Elemental Nations for the brat but when he heard that Kakachi and his Genin team had a encounter with somebody named Wesker in Wave Country it could only be Naruto using his grandfathers name something that both he and his sensei feared that Naruto is become like his grandfather and while he knew that he was going against his sensei's orders he contacted Chris Redfield but it was necessary at the time if Chris had learned of this from of the other BSAA spies in the other Ninja Villages then he would come right to their village without a warning before starting to demand answers and chewing them both out for doing a piss poor job for not keeping much closer eye on Minato's son and then wants to kill Naruto in his own way even with the brat being the Jinchuriki of the 9 Tailed fox be damned with no way to stop him without making a enemy out of and the BSAA but Chris was willing to give him a chance to fix this whole mess his sensei created but he give him a 2 month time line and that was not going to make it easy for him as Albert Wesker was very good in covering his tracks and that Naruto might be as well

and that was proven right when he had heard that Naruto was seen in Sea Country but the problem was is that the brat already left 3 days ago long before he and his BSAA team got there and and his team spent almost 2 days looking for any trace for Naruto to find where he was going but his tracks were cover to good and they have no idea in where he was going and the people of Sea Country wouldn't tell him where he was as they didn't know

but then his sensei contacted him by one of his monkey summonings telling him that the Wind Daimyo was assassinated by a Root ninja and had asked him to have some of his spies look into it and to try and contain this from spreading out and while his spies are looking into it right now but they couldn't contain the news from spreading out as it spread like wildfire and the Leaf was losing almost all of their missions form almost all of their clients and they are now looking at some hard time and Danzo was placed under house arrest at the order of the Fire Daimyo and as it was just a small number of spies he had redirected to look into the former Wind Daimyo's murder it wasn't going to slow him down much in finding Naruto

that was when the news reached him about a unanimous source reached him form the people that had exposed that Danzo never had disbanded Root and had Root spies all over the Elemental Nations that are also secret hit squads to kill a target when Danzo had order to take out and that they are now all being eliminated with finding in their hideouts a lot of discriminating evidence of what Danzo has done over the years from the shadows in secret at news came unexpected and it was to late to try and contain the news as now that all of the Leafs alliances are being ended as Danzo had his Root ninjas kill nobles from countries that are allied with the Leaf and even form neutral countries that are friends with the Leaf and it was also discovered that Danzo was the one who has started the whole Hyuga Cloud incident just to force the Cloud to give the Leaf one of the 2 Jinchuriki that the Could has and the Hyuga Clan is now calling for Danzo's head with his sensei dealing with one headache after another and especially now the Chunin Exams are close by being held in the Leaf

and now most of his spies are busy to do damage control and problem solving in trying to save the Leafs good name and reputation and that means he had even less spies now to search for Naruto as they are now stretch out to thin in doing all they to help him in finding Naruto, looking into form Wind Daimyo's murder and trying to do Damage control in saving the Leafs good name and reputation and the first month of the 2 month deadline is almost over before Chris comes here to deal with Naruto himself

So yeah Jiraiya really needed a drink right and lucky for him one of his spies owns a bar close by and he hopes that he has some information on Naruto whereabouts really could use some good news right about now.

Later on Jiraiya and his BSAA team walked into a bar that was own by one of his spies and he hopes that he got something, anything about Naruto's location as one of the waitress saw him and she calls to the owner with anger and disgust in her voice

"Someone to see you Sato a pervert by the looks of it" she says

Sato the bartender and owner of the bar looks up to Jiraiya standing there and he says.

"Jiraiya"

"Hello Sato." Jiraiya greets

"Just go to the usual private booth and I will be right there in a few minutes." Sato says pointing to the booth.

"You want some sake?." The waitress asked

"Yes thank you." Jiraiya says as he walks into the private booth a few minutes later Sato comes to sit with him and says

"So Jiraiya what what can I do for you?."

"I need information about my godson Naruto who goes by the name of Wesker and where I can find him." Jiraiya asked sipping his sake as Sato frowned

"I am sorry Jiraiya but like last time you came to ask my about your missing godson I haven't see him at all or hear about a possible location of him but I did hear somethings about this Wesker guy there is the fact that not only did he saved both the Land of Waves and Sea Country but he took over Gato's Shipping and turned it into the Whirlpool Corporation and is gathering researchers and scientists to come to his Corporation." Says Sato.

the waitress came and give Jiraiya his drink and leaves and Jiraiya says frowning

"That is not good tell me Sato is Naruto running the Corporation now as we speak?." as it was possible that the brat was now in Fire Country without him and his sensei knowing about it.

"No a woman by the name of Maria Gomez is running it as his CEO right now and I believe she is the only one who might know where he is but that is a long shot." Sato admits

"Great just great.. anything else?" Groaned Jiraiya

"I've only had two spies under me who are supposed to give me information from Fire country. One that's a civilian and another worked at Gato's corporation... I haven't heard from them in over a week. They must have been caught... and no doubt killed.." Says Sato with Jiraiya glaring.

"Damn it!" He cursed in thought. But at least he found a lead.

"I'm sorry. I've done all I can." Sato says.

"Thanks for the info Sato." Jiraiya says now leaving to go report to his Sensei directly at this and maybe try to take a look at Whirlpool Corporation but still he has to find Naruto's whereabouts he knows the boy is somewhere but WHERE!?

( With Naruto)

"Do repeat again Maria?" Naruto asks coldly on the phone.

"We had two spies. One that's a civilian and one of our workers, I've interrogated them personally. They work for Jiraiya. " She answered

"What did you do to them?" Naruto asks with a glare.

"I've had them killed by Nemesis." She answered.

"Good. Do you need Extra security? Since I've only left Nemesis with you?" He asks

"Just one. Another tyrant." She replies.

"Okay. I'm sending Thanatos as Extra Security." Naruto says as he hanged up the phone. Glaring.

He would send one of his BioWeapons but he decides to send Thanatos. Another Super Tyrant and member of the Frederika Army. Who is at least stronger than Mr. X.

The Chunin Exams isn't until a few days.

Naruto begins to alter his appearance and change his appearance so no one wouldn't recognize him.

( With Danzo)

Still not pleased with how things are going. Every Root Anbu he has sent out all over the elemental nations and in minor and major Shinobi villages that he ordered to spy on or strike hit are now being hunted down and killed.

He gripped his cane angrily.

He still hasn't figured out who did this to him. Hiruzen and Jiraiya already investigating him as of right now he's trying to cover up his tracks. Should they fully find out everything that he's done in the shadows he will no doubt face trial by the Fire Daimyo and will be executed.

Danzo will not let such a thing happen. He is not going to face execution. He will not be imprisoned. He is a patriot to his village. All he has ever done was for the good of Konoha. ( Rather for his own interests).

He already sent messages to all remaining root Anbu that survived the hunt to return to him.

He walked over to a wall and pressed a button as it revealed a secret compartment.

Inside the compartment were two Vials that contained two injections.

Both injection serums that he managed to steal. Since he's heard all about Albert Wesker. He had secretly sent his Root Anbu to raid one of Wesker's hidden Labs that was found in Ame when he spoke to Hanzo the salamander. Though it wasn't easy in stealing these two since Wesker left Traps and monsters to guard his lab. Only one of his Root Anbu returned alive and gave him these.

And what were these two vials Danzo has. The T-Virus and the G-Virus.

With one of these Serums he will use to make him stronger. Or use it to empower his Root Anbu into super Soldiers.

Danzo will prevail and will become the Future Hokage and will destroy all who oppose him.

( Sound Village)

"Are you brats ready?" Zabuza asked.

"I'm ready Zabuza-sama." Said Haku.

"I'm ready as well" says Karin.

Orochimaru who is in disguise already looks at her team. Kin, Dosu and Zaku.

"I'm here." Naruto says as all eyes turned to him seeing his new appearance. As they noticed he looked different. His hair is dyed Black. He's wearing a Fox mask and is wearing dark blue cloak. Wearing fishnet armor. Dark pants and dark combat boots with 6 kunai hostlers. While having scrolls on his belt.

"Nice Look Cousin." Karin says

"Thanks Karin. Remember. I'm not Naruto. I'm Menma" Naruto says using his fake identity.

"You ready Kid?" Zabuza asks
