Sagittarius And Gemini: 5Cb The Event
More than Friends
Characters: Aiolos and Saga
Heads up, there is yaoi in this, but the more heated part is separated with clear cut parts at where it begins and ends.
O|===================|O
"You know, with the amount of paperwork we have to do, you would think our finger muscles would be more ripped than our arms," Saga mused as he dropped his pen and stretched his digits.
"Just ease your grip. You're not engraving on stone, just write it dark enough so that it is legible." Aiolos laughed. Saga may have handwriting that could be mistaken for print and he may catch flack for his bubbly handwriting. But, at the end of the day, at least his knuckles weren't cracking like walnuts.
"I should, but I just want to get this done as quickly as possible while still being correctly filled out," Saga turned downwards. Now that they got the official proposal done, came the part of laying out the details for the city council. Technically, this was a task for Gigars, but neither Gold trusted him, fearful he would insert things that would add to his enormous wealth as he had done so in the past with Shion.
"It's him!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! I'm positive!"
Aiolos and Saga both exchanged a stunned look, neither recognized the voices. However, they both understood that they were referring to either one or both of them, and they both shifted their attention to a balding gentleman and what looked to be his wife.
Aiolos could tell they were clearly from Rodario due to the imperfect texture of their cloth, as if a hand loom was used.
The archer was the first to break the silence as he laid his writing utensil down and smiled politely, "can we help you?"
The older woman pointed toward the Gemini. "You're the missing man that Sanctuary has been looking for? Same blue hair, same eyes," she wrinkled her nose. "What was his name?"
"I think it's Ganon, dear."
Saga's hands slammed so hard on the table that both empty glasses of ouzo bounced once before rolling to the ground and shattering. "I AM NOT KANON!" his eyes were dark red. "I AM HIS FUCKING BROTHER!"
If there was any subject that could snap the Gemini in a flash, it was his missing brother. "Saga, I'll take care of it." Aiolos reacted so quickly, he didn't even realize he used light speed in front of the couple. He felt a bit of relief when Saga stomped over toward an empty corner of the patio area, but Aiolos didn't want to risk anything.
The woman fluttered her fingers. "But he looks exactly like him! We know! They put a poster of him on a pole right outside the place where we get our eggs every morning!"
"My wife is right! Why it was even in color and it can't be a-"
"They are twins!" Aiolos calmly and sternly interrupted.
She turned her head and back to the archer. "Are you sure that's not Ganon?"
"Yes!" By the goddess, even he was growing frustrated. He can't imagine how Saga felt since it seemed like the mistake happens weekly. "I've been working with him for years! Just please… give him space. It is a very sensitive issue." Aiolos highly emphasized. He watched the two nod and apologized for the mistake. Once they turned, the Sagittarius took his hand and rubbed his face in relief. He returned over to the corner where Saga sat with his arms folded on top of his head, probably reciting some hymn for peace or just simply meditating. "They're gone," he spoke through the cosmos as he took a spot next to him. "How are you feeling?" There was no answer for about a minute, but Aiolos knew it was normal when he got worked up this much. "Take your time." He spoke, repeating the words that Shion always seemed to use with the Gemini during his moods.
Under his arms, Saga took his hand and gazed at it, but there was a light crimson hue that reflected. Even though Aiolos had seen the red eyes before, he still hated it when his friend saw them. Even though the archer wouldn't say it, Saga still felt like a monster when they appeared. "I'm glad they're gone," he muttered, the fire still in his chest. "I love my brother, but why can't he be different? Why couldn't we be fraternal twins? Hell, why can't he be born with an alligator head so people would stop thinking he came back all the time?"
They think you are the one who killed him...even though you know it's true.
The Gemini gritted his teeth as the hundreds of voices echoed in his head. He knows the curse was causing them and that they aren't real, but they were so fucking annoying.
"I know, Saga. I was there when you first found out he was missing." He and everyone felt like they searched every inch of Greece. The problem was, the disappearance became so famous that a situation like this happened quite a bit. Their hearts were in the right place, but the Gemini can only handle so many mistaken identities. This trip to this village was the first time in a month that he could think of Saga stepping out beyond Sanctuary and not cramped in a corner of Shion's library. He reached over and placed his arm around his friend and sat there patiently.
After a few minutes of peace, Saga sat back up, his eyes dark blue once more. "Thank you. I'm glad I didn't come alone here." He truly was. Goddess help him if he wasn't there. The curse was growing stronger and he couldn't forgive himself if he hurt what truly was, a pair of good samaritans. He liked the weight of Aiolos arm on his back as if there was a sense of security with every embrace. It made him envy the cub.
He could be content just like this, but some things must be done. "We need to finish those papers," he spoke as he raised his head and was a bit saddened when the archer pulled away, causing an unwelcome chill. "Goddess I hope we don't run into any more people looking for Ganon…" he muttered feeling his eyes glow a hint of red before he shook it off.
"Here, before we do, why don't we figure out where we're going to eat." Aiolos could still hear the tension in the Gemini's voice and while it was clear he calmed down, a little diversion will get him back to normal.
Saga agreed. They grabbed their empty glasses and the two stepped inside.
The man who helped them earlier was gone and now replaced with a woman who was smoothly buffing all the drink rings off the table. They ordered a couple of white wines to give a reason to tip her before they asked about the local restaurants.
"That's easy. Right at the center of the village is a place called Kraken Degel's. During the day, it's a butcher shop, but at night, the owner opens up the back and it's got the most amazing food for miles. But if you're looking to walk in tonight, good luck. Nearly everyone has to reserve about two days ahead of time due to space and quality." She turned toward Saga and noticed his lingering gaze. "See something you like, handsome?"
Saga could see that she was far too built. No woman gains biceps like that from serving drinks. But there was another clue. "Were you an Amazon?" the Gemini inquired as he took his finger and stroked near his ear.
She chuckled a bit and gave a tilt of happiness. "Oh...so you know about that?"
Aiolos was a bit confused. "Saga, what are you two talking about?"
"You know how you talk about soldiers having helmet scars from wearing one too long? The same thing with Amazons. If they wear a mask too small, it would leave faint curved lines, along the edge of the jaw," Saga educated through the cosmos.
Aiolos nodded with intrigue. Saga knew far more about Amazon culture than the Amazons themselves sometimes, but he is not surprised.
She raised a brow. "I used to be. I didn't have my face properly fitted. I tripped and fell and was forced to make my choice even if it was the lesser of two evils." The former Amazon nodded and touched her growing belly while she gazed at the two. "So...if we're on the topic, how about you two? Too large to be a pair of Baby-faced Bronzies. Too handsome to be Stubborn-Silvers. Could you both be a pair of Gay-" She paused when Saga drew a finger to his mouth. It was never wise to piss off the pair who could bench-press a planet. She took a deep breath. She's only seen them a few times, and that was during the parades where they would march at. Now there were two right before her. Why the hell would they be in a dingy village like this? "We're not in danger, are we?"
Aiolos could see she wasn't going to run her mouth about their secret. No need for her to fret, especially with her clearly carrying a child in her belly. "Peaceful reasons."
"That's good." She reached down and pulled out the bar's Tele-cam. "I have a friend who works at Kraken Degel's. They open in about three hours and I believe I can get you two in," she winked.
Aiolos lit up. "That's wonderful! Thank you very much!" The archer turned toward Saga. "Should we go back to work?"
Saga looked over. "We should, but...I don't want to be out in the open…" he paused.
The archer had a feeling Saga didn't want to repeat what happened earlier and judging by the tables filling up, that the evening is when this place will be packed. They were too well dressed to go to the nearby barracks and neither of them had any friends to stay at. There was honestly one option left, one they've used many times before. When they were younger, it seemed logical. But now that they were older, it almost made him blush. "How about an inn? We can rent a room, don't have to worry about interruptions, and we can leave our stuff there when we go out later?"
That was when the Gemini lit up as he remembered passing a particular location, but not because he wanted somewhere to finish the paperwork in peace. "Alright, but only if I get to pick the spot."
"Sure! Let me get the bill and-" but before Aiolos could finish, the Gemini raised a hand.
"This one is on me. Go ahead and gather our work and we'll head out," Saga spoke. He watched his friend run back to the patio. Saga then reached into his pocket and produced a gold embossed ticket with the symbol of Athena on it. It was the equivalent to writing a check. "You didn't accidentally trip. It's called Pretty hunting. A man who can't find a wife because nobody wants him will target an Amazon without a Cloth who they suspect are too new to be hardened enough to kill them. They know that if the mask comes off, it forces her to make her choice."
She widened her eyes in horror. But as she thought back, the circumstances did seem off. "Goddess...that bastard…" she looked up. "How would you know of something like that?"
Saga sighed deeply. "Because… that's how he got my mother… and he bragged about the process every time he held a party when they asked how he got such a splendid wife." He fills it out and hands it over. "Give it to the bank. They'll honor it."
She took a quick look before nearly dropping it. "Are you sure you want to give me this much? Are you even sure that they will take this?"
That was the irony of being a Gold. They get paid so much, but other than food, booze, their households, and guests, there honestly wasn't anything to use their money on since they were so restricted on what they can have or even have the time for. "I'm sure, as for whether they will accept it, if they don't want me stomping back there, then yes, they will." He turned his head as Aiolos carried the folders. "Leave the bastard while you still can. That's the best thing you can do for yourself and your child."
O|=================|O
The two Golds took one of the side streets in an effort to avoid the crowds. The Gemini scanned his head back and forth trying to find that one place before he paused and waved his free hand up. "There, that's the one!" he gestured.
Aiolos was a bit surprised. He thought the other two seemed nicer and quite a bit cheaper. But it was clear that his friend seemed to zero in on this place and once he caught a glance at the amenities it was then that he figured it out. "You want to do that?"
Saga nodded. "I do."
The archer's mouth felt a bit dry, his head a little dizzy. "Are you sure? Will we have enough time? We still have the paperwork."
"I think we can finish the report in an hour. After that," he paused, unsure if he could say it out loud. "I...don't think I can do it," he muttered before he rested his soft blue locks against the archer's strong shoulder. "...without you." He raised a hand and produced a small Another Dimension and dropped the package into the archer's hands.
Aiolos stared at it, feeling his heart race as the moment the two talked about for a long time was about to happen. But he did promise Saga that he could pick the place and he was quite curious as well. Besides, the pine scent of Saga's freshly washed locks was enough to make him do anything for him at that moment.
The check-in process was fairly quick. In less than ten minutes, they were in room 237. It was what was considered a Moderno-friendly set up with outlets, a coffee maker, a small bathroom, a queen-sized bed with a large television in front of it with a DVD player attached.
The two turned toward the small desk and proceeded to finish the last of the paperwork. It was far faster now that they had a spot where they could focus on the delicate task. It also helped that the two were silent and not mindlessly chatting with a cool glass of ouzo nearby.
After that, the moment had finally come.
The room was already a bit hot and humid. They folded their top robes and set them on the wooden chairs that they had used earlier to keep their sweat from staining the fine fabric, especially with how difficult they were to clean.
Aiolos sat nervously on top of the bed, his sweaty muscles shining in the dimly lit room. He tried to rest his head on the feather-soft pillow but found it difficult to relax from the anticipation of what was to come as the Gemini came back out. Over the years, he had come to realize there were two sides to Saga: the shy introvert and the bold and brash. Right now, by the Goddess, he was certainly bold as he strutted out of the bedroom, a cocky eyebrow raised, the package fixed between his fingers.
"Are you ready?" the Gemini huskily whispered with a capricious look upon his face.
Not wanting to be outdone, Aiolos dropped his anxious expression and patted a spot next to the bed. "Let's do it," his voice growled.
The Gemini brought the packaged to his capricious grin before he bit down and ripped the plastic off with his teeth before he reached inside and pulled out the circular-shaped object. "Last chance...are you sure."
And Aiolos chuckled. "Yes...fuck let's do this!" He drew a hand in his curly chestnut locks. "Unless...I'm going to be the one who will put it in?"
But Saga shook his head. "I don't think so. I've waited too long for this. I want to make it...perfect." He strutted over, the edge of his hips shifting up and down with each step in his somewhat low riding trainers before he reached the light switch. "To set the mood," his husky voice whispered as he brought his fingers above it and flicked it off before the outline of his face went from a drunken gaze to laughter.
Aiolos followed suit as he watched the Gemini insert the DVD.
It may sound like an odd favor, but it was one that dates back to the petty nature of the Gemini twins. From what he was told, Saga, only eight at the time, was berating Kanon to study harder and made a bet to read War and Peace. To his astonishment, Kanon remembered the bet and attempted the task when he was ten. Not only did he do it in two months, but he also wrote notes for it as further proof of the task. Afterward, Kanon challenged his older brother and humbly, Saga accepted, expecting something dumb like read a dictionary and write a sentence for each word.
But Kanon knew his brother and all his quirks like the back of his hand.
So the younger Gemini dared him to do the one thing that he was certain that Saga would fail at: watch his favorite movie: Nightmare on Elm Street.
It may not sound like much, but Saga was very particular when it came to blood and death. If it was during sparring, he had no problem with it. But if the archer brings a fresh kill or crafts a set of rabbit mittens for his little brother, Saga would be white as snow.
Oh, Kanon.
Clever Kanon.
He wanted to choose something he knew Saga would be determined to do, but could not accomplish.
Boy did he succeed on that front.
Legend has it that Saga's first attempt with the slasher movie, lasted a grand total of two minutes before he banished the tv in the hotel into the orbital grip of Jupiter. Saga, his ego a bit more bruised but still determined, tried again, but this time he would be at his side, partly because Kanon knew he wouldn't lie about whether Saga accomplished the deed or not, but also because Saga knew he wouldn't be bragging to others of how one of the most powerful Saints in Sanctuary started the movie practically in the fetal position. He still remembered how Saga held his hand, feeling the iron grip of sheer terror breaking his own thumb. Right before he could protest, the third guardian passed out at the five-minute mark when Freddy Kruger sliced his fingers off.
Despite the original one who proposed the bet went missing, Saga had mentioned here and there of plans to complete it, but nothing surfaced until now.
This would make attempt three. The two of them were five years older this time around, a bit more mature, but that was not all that changed. Aiolos wasn't sure why he chose now, but perhaps it had to do with the impending feeling that the Pope was ready to start the process of slowly stepping down.
In the dark, Aiolos felt the Gemini cautiously climb next to him, and for a moment, Saga's gorgeous eyes locked onto his. He knew the little dance and kinky tease was just him joking around...at least parts of it was. Aiolos could see that Saga's subtle shifts of surprises when he too went along with it, that gave him the impression that not all of it was just for fun. He was half tempted to ask if they should do something else before dinner, but at the same time, he wasn't exactly sure where Saga fell in terms of a relationship since, like a true Gemini, always gave mixed signals. Not only that, if Saga was determined to watch it, it was an encouraging sign that the older Gemini still believed that his younger brother was alive. If he was patient enough to hold still for hours just to make the perfect shot and earn his cloth, he can wait until after dinner to figure out what to do next.
The screen starts with the familiar atmosphere of a dark alley with what looked like a frightened teenager wandering around. Aiolos still remembered it since it was the first movie he's ever seen.
Tina: Please god…
Freddy: This…*shows his bladed hand* is god.
O|============|O
1 hour later..
O|============|O
"I'm your boyfriend now, Nancy,"
The archer laughed as a clearly fake plastic tongue wiggled near her face.
Unlike the reenactments of famous events like the Pegasus Run, an event that every child in Rodario could recite by heart by the time they were five years old, at first he was surprised at how much work was put into making it scary. Once he told himself that no one was really getting hurt, he found himself going from being a bit sickened to being entertained. In a way, it made him understand why the younger Gemini practically worshiped these types of films. Aiolos turned his head and rubbed the clear lump next to him. It seemed that the older Gemini did not come to the same conclusion. "Come on, Saga. Does it even count if you spend half of it under the covers."
"...yes it does," a feeble baritone voice replied.
"No it doesn't…" the archer sang.
"...yes it does," the Gemini sang back.
Aiolos didn't want to pull the blanket off him, but he knew how much watching it meant. "Look, you said it yourself. A movie is like a play where everything is pretend. There's a lot of death but it's not even real!" In fact, at times, some parts were so fake that he found it hilarious. "Why are you…" he paused as the next scene played as a sense of dread followed.
Saga's head lifted underneath. "What is it? Is it Glen?" he whispered in fear.
"I think so…" the archer stared at the screen. "He's asleep."
The Gemini gasped. Anyone who falls asleep will be at the mercy of Freddy Krueger! "But...not Glen! He's played by Johnny Depp!"
Aiolos shrugged. "I don't know who that is and I don't think Freddy doesn't care either," his eyes widened. "Ohhh, that's a lot of blood." His expression went from shock to a bit of laughter. "There is no way anyone can be made up of that much blood. I've slaughtered a bear and it didn't bleed as bad as that." He thought as he turned his head toward the quivering lump and motherly stroked the top of it. "Come on, Saga, how come you don't want to watch it? You said you were doing okay earlier after the first death?"
It felt childish, but he had his reasons that he finally confessed. "It also causes me to have those thoughts," he muttered under the sheets before the screams in the background stopped with the click of the remote before he looked up to see his friend's concerned gaze.
Suddenly, the element of scary fun faded. The archer struggled to hide it, but couldn't. He knew exactly what those thoughts were, the thoughts of his friend thinking of suicide. This was the second time this month, but it also was close to the anniversary of when Kanon disappeared. It was the type of thinking that turned him into a wreck whenever the Gemini was late or didn't return a message. Here he thought Saga was practically joking around under the sheets. Tonight was supposed to be fun. Tonight they were going to just take a moment to step away from the stresses that plagued them at Sanctuary. "Saga, why didn't you say anything earlier?"
The third guardian lowered his head a bit. "I didn't know I would feel like that. It's like I told you, they are just acting and nobody was really dead...but I-."
Aiolos reached over and lifted the Gemini's head. "Saga, I'm your friend! You can tell me anything!" He swallowed hard as well. "I want you to tell me!"
If only Saga could let him know that Freddy's haunting voice sounded exactly like the ones the curse made in his head. Of course, Aiolos is under the lie that the curse was just a part of being a Gemini, which is probably why he is so understanding about it.
The Gemini wanted to tell him, but he was unsure if the curse will prevent him, or worse, attempt to kill off his friend to protect itself, especially with the curse drowning in mystery. He could talk about it to Kanon, but they were twins, and even when their bond was fractured, it was strong enough to where his twin was safe. Who knew what would happen to Aiolos, and it wasn't worth risking someone he could-. "I didn't want to ruin the day," he muttered.
At that moment, the archer reached over and sat him up. "You didn't ruin anything." Goddess, what was going on that made him think that death was the answer? While he couldn't figure it out, it didn't matter. "Think of just today. Do you think I could've convinced that one man during the deal to take the other location by myself?"
Saga's gloomy face turned downwards. "Do not discount yourself. I didn't tell you what to say, I merely gestured the direction you should take. With practice, you can easily handle people like that without me. Trust me, when I start running Sanctuary, there will be a shortage of men like him."
"Alright, but I saw what you did for that Amazon in the bar." How could he not notice? The moment he saw the golden glint, he knew that the minimum amount that one of those pieces would provide is enough for someone to purchase a piece of land around those parts.
Saga is always giving away his money like water, and even if the people didn't know his identity, the generosity of the Gemini is still well known. Sometimes Aiolos wondered if he did it because the Gemini did it because well, you can't spend money if you were dead. But he did overhear his sincere tone from earlier with the Amazon, and could tell he truly did feel sorry for her. "What about her? If you weren't there, she and the child would be miserable, but you are giving them a better future."
The Gemini did light up a bit, fighting a smile, but he couldn't. Because he was very thankful that he did encounter her. "She did arrange for us to go somewhere nice. I hate to look like a total dick and we don't show up on time."
It was what Aiolos wanted to hear, but not just that Saga was interested in going, but the pure joy that it had and the rare smile that followed. A pity he had to pull away from it. He walked over and picked up the two sets of robes. "Come on, let's get going."
O|==============|O
The place was closer than they expected. In fact, they actually did pass it on the way to the hotel, but never noticed due to the outside not being impressive at all. Dingy white paint covered the old brick. The restaurant's name was even written on an old wooden sign with paint slightly peeling on the edges. At first, Saga thought the Amazon was messing with them, but once they walked inside, it became clear that the dilapidated state was a mere ruse to keep the tourists out.
Every table had a blue mermaid vase with a set of lit tea candles floating in the water, a welcomed contrast to the rough tables that were spotted with several old drink rings of the bars. The two took their places on the red velvet chairs before they looked at the drink menus. Aiolos mused over it for a bit. He always enjoyed it when it listed the ouzo by distilleries. "I picked the last one, how about you this time?"
Saga looked over the page. It always seemed like after their drinks from earlier, the curse was easier to trigger. Problem was, he was fairly certain the army of Athena drank more than they fucking breathe and the two were no exception. How Aiolos could still shoot straight while maintaining a liver could only be due to divine intervention. "Well...I...was wondering if I could go without alcohol this time."
"Alright," Aiolos spoke without any hesitation.
"Alright?" The Gemini asks once, face unsure.
"Yeah," he assured him and smiled. "Should we get soda or tea?"
Most would dismiss Aiolos' gesture as patronizing. However, Saga knew it was all genuine and why he loved being around him. "Chamomile sounds nice."
Aiolos turned his head as their waitress paused. "A pot of chamomile," he returned his gaze to his friend. "We'll share."
Saga returned to his menu, trying to decide between the fish roe dip as his appetizer or keep it simple with the stuffed grape leaves when Venus, their waitress, came back out with a large glass pitcher filled with white flower heads. "What's this?" he asked.
She reaches to her side and pulls out a metal pitcher with a long handle. "Your tea," she spoke as she poured the hot water upon them and set a timer. "Would you like it if I served you when it finishes steeping or would you like to pour it for yourselves?"
"We can do it, thank you!" Aiolos spoke as he saw the stunned look. "What is it?"
The Gemini raised his hand. "I thought she would take out a few teabags."
"Oh no, you can make it this way. In fact, that's what we used to do at home. My mother, goddess rest her soul, would tell us to gather the flowers, warning us not to venture too far or else we'll be covered in ticks, and she would heat some water. Aiolia still loves it that way, as do I. It is a hundred times better." It was also quite a bit cheaper since chamomile sprouted like weeds in the fields.
Saga raised a brow. "Huh, I was wondering why I would catch the cub moving up Sanctuary with a basket full of flowers." But then again, it was typical Prototypo behavior. The brothers had a vast knowledge of herbs and utilized it at every opportunity. In fact, on the way there, he had to smack the archer's eager gaze when he spotted the start of a Valerian root growing in between the crack of some floorboards, reminding him of how no noble would be going around, kneeling in the dirt and pulling herbs out, even if it was useful as a sleep aid. But there was a nice charm to it. "It looks quite pretty. I can't wait to try it along with whatever they have to offer."
They studied the menu feeling guilty every time the poor waitress came by and they kept turning her away for a few minutes. The two both agreed to pick things that neither could recreate or too difficult for someone at Sanctuary to assemble. Little did they realize just how poorly that narrowed things down.
If the archer could have the stomach of a Taurus, he would easily order every single thing on there. He could tell by the way Saga's brow was teeter-tottering back and forth, it seemed he was equally unsure. He settled on the cuttlefish risotto for a starter and sea bream topped with béarnaise. He wasn't sure exactly what they were, but judging by the other guests' plates, they would all look and smell fantastic. Not only that, the fact that he and his brother had tried the organs of every wild creature by his old house, but he was also certain that he'll eat whatever they give him.
As Aiolos waited there, he spotted a Greek with curly sandy blond hair.
Saga briefly turned and knew what he was thinking. "Go ahead, mother hen. Now's a good time to do his hourly checkup," he lightly tisked.
Aiolos shrugged. "You exaggerate." There was nothing wrong with sending a couple of cosmos messages to check on how his little brother was doing, twice a day. He pleasantly sent a greeting, only for his face to gasp. "He blocked me," he muttered, his voice cracking with a little disappointment.
Saga sighed as he saw the fearful look in the archer's eyes. Sure he made fun of it, but he understood what Aiolos was going through, even if it wasn't even close to the drama that he and his twin experienced. "Relax, mother hen. He's in an IKEA in Sweden, you know, one of the most dangerous places in the world, second only to Death Queen Island."
Aiolos laughed. Sometimes a bit of the Gemini's sarcasm is all that's needed. "You're right." He shrugged. "I'm sure he's fine. I'm just a little curious at what he could be doing that he doesn't want even me to know about."
O|===============|O
As they waited and chatted, the Gemini could see that the place had grown extremely busy since they first entered. The empty tables were now filled with a mixture of the locals who understood the reputation of the restaurant as well as other well-to-do outsiders who came across it like themselves. While receiving their food in stages would enhance the experience, they still had to ensure they were back in Sanctuary so that he could transport everyone back from Sweden. Besides, he didn't want anyone to ruin their night and think he was Ganon.
"Well, even though we aren't having Swedish meatballs, I'm sure it will be different and delicious," Aiolos chuckled.
Saga couldn't resist, "Different? Because you won't have to skin the meal before eating it?"
The archer pursed his smiling lips. "You make it sound like I'll take a bite out of anything that moves."
"Oh please, every time we pass anything with feathers or fur, you have encyclopedic knowledge on the best seasoning to use. I bet you can't name one animal that you or your brother had never thought about eating or turning into a hat."
Challenge accepted. "I can name two, Khris: Hera and Neptune."
Saga unleashed a deep laugh. He hated losing, but it was so quick and clever that he would stand up and bow to the archer if they weren't surrounded by so many people. "You got me there, Lucas."
When Venus came back with the large tray in her hands, the two produced a gasp and awe as if their Goddess had been reborn once more. Every plate was a piece of art, every smell left them infatuated. When she set each of their entrees in front of them, to show that the herbs and sauces were carefully painted on their protein, they both exchanged glances that neither wanted to touch the beautifully arranged plates.
Aiolos took his spoon and carefully edged a bit of the soft risotto and brought it close to his mouth but somehow managed to pause right before his lips. He waited carefully for the Gemini to reach down and slice a bit of his egg with a bit of the pillowy potato before they took their bite. It was nothing like he expected. It was creamy with a slightly peppery taste that was the right amount of spice, with that nutty flavor that made him fall in love with anything that had any sort of cephalopod in it. While he knew it was childish and he still had plenty on his plate, he sucked the spoon of every bit of sauce. He turned to his friend to see that his appetizer plate was cleaner than before it could leave a china cabinet. "Huh, I must be imagining things. I think Venus forgot your food."
Saga grinned and reached over for his main entree. "It's been a long time since I've lightspeed a dish."
"Same here," smiled Aiolos as he used every ounce of willpower to avoid doing the same. For the caretakers, it was perhaps the greatest compliment they could receive where a Gold Saint would eat it so quickly that it was gone in a literal blink of an eye. Of course, the trade-off was that due to the brain not being able to respond to the taste as quickly as a Gold's reflexes, it would feel more like one bite than a meal.
Aiolos was surprised since Saga was typically the one who preferred to savor things more, yet ever since Kanon disappeared, he's been extremely impulsive even during these times. Aiolos reached over and before Saga could lift up the utensil, he rested his hand over the Gemini's. "Slow down. Remember, we won't have opportunities like this."
The two tended to their fish, their knives and forks cutting delicately like surgeons, their faces content like a pair of new brides. And like always, just as they had done as kids, shared a piece of their meal, passing the fork back and forth like a flask after a good sparring session. Sure they were supposed to be nobles, but old habits die hard.
The last bite was the best. After rationing the béarnaise carefully to ensure that each piece of sea bream was covered in it, he took the final fillet and slicked it back and forth until not one trace of the creamy sauce remained and the surface was dry. He put it in his mouth as if it was a final goodbye.
Venus returned and smiled pleasantly. "Would either of you gentlemen care for some dessert?"
Aiolos turned his head and could see that Saga thought the same. "What do you have tonight?"
"Well, we are well known for our baklava," she gauges their reactions. It's the same face that most of their new customers often give in that their mother makes the best. "It's actually served as an ice cream."
She said the magic words. "We'll take two," Saga spoke with a low-key grin to her before he returned to Aiolos, privately taking a moment to admire the soft curls that slipped out of the silk hat, struggling to still his hand to reach over and just play with them with all these people around them.
But a distraction came about. Saga spotted a large gathering in the corner. While Saga had been quietly examining the crowds wondering who worked where and what lineage they came from, about three tables away were six rowdy foot soldiers from Sanctuary. It was clear the place did attract a variety of customers, there was something odd that perhaps his friend could answer. "I wonder why they are all still in their uniforms?"
Aiolos could see why it drew the Gemini's attention. This was a nice place. With how long the reservation list was, one didn't just drop in after a rough day of patrol when coming here. Plus he was a proud son of a foot soldier. He knew that despite how rough footies can be, contrary to popular belief they do bathe, they do shave, and they are required to own at least two sets of nice silk white trainers for either ceremonial use or a place like this. But judging by the jovial laughter behind him, he figured it out. "Bachelor party. They're in their uniforms because it can be really difficult to get all your friends together since they all have different shifts. So what the commander would do is he gives the groom's friends an assignment together to protect said place."
Saga chuckled. "Clever. Everyone gets together, and guard duty looks better on paper than a bachelor party."
Aiolos smiled. "Exactly." Curiously, he turned around to see for himself. Judging by their jests to each other, it was definitely a bachelor party. His gaze shifted toward the center before flinching and quickly spinning back. "Oh Goddess, that's Yiorgos!" he muttered in shock and astonishment.
The name was familiar, but not one that was spoken directly to him. Aiolos was never the type to openly bitch about others. However, he did recall overhearing him retell bits of his youth to his brother."Was he the one who would make fun of you whenever you passed his house carrying your brother? The one who gathered his friends to beat you up when they found out you were hired into Sanctuary?" The way the archer just shut his eyes and took a deep breath told all. "Yet you used to play with him? Why?"
Aiolos shrugged. "Our dads knew each other." It was no surprise since platoons were often formed based on region and that anyone citizen of Rodario who reached ten years old and wasn't in school or a trade, was healthy enough and had not become a trainee was required to enlist. "Plus...I was lonely." Aiolos shrugged and switched over to speaking through the cosmos despite it feeling more soothing to use his words. "Dad was always on patrol...mom...was busy. Aiolia was still too young to do much. So I hung out with him and a few questionable others. I never did anything severe...sometimes it was fun and oftentimes stupid..."
"Like climbing up to the bell tower?"
"Yes…a miracle I didn't fall and break my back from it." He chuckled. "Then, I came to Sanctuary where I met real friends. Friends who I can be myself around and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world." He saw Saga produce a small smile. Of course, it was more than a compliment, it was the truth. His blue eyes shifted at the fancy sleeve of his robe and the delicate dishes before him. Growing up, he would've never thought of being in a place like this or the position he was in. "Sometimes I wonder if I'd be much different if I followed the path of my father and grandfathers."
For Saga, it was a question: what if they never joined Sanctuary, that he was certain everyone in the Twelve Houses had asked themselves at one point, including himself. While it was debatable for him, when it came to the archer, the answer was more certain. "No, you wouldn't. I don't think you would change even if you didn't become a Saint." The Gemini was very cautious around others, even back when they first met, his sense of trust was as delicate as the head of a dandelion ready to spread its seeds. But despite that, he never thought anything less of the archer. It was clear he had always had a sense of integrity and he would carry it whether he became a foot soldier or a Gold Saint. "Besides, you can be yourself in Sanctuary, because I think-" he bit his lip and was quick to correct. "We think you are wonderful the way you are," he spoke aloud as if it would cause the last bit to fade in time.
But Aiolos did hear it, but still feigned a bit of ignorance as Venus brought over their dessert.
Aiolos stared at it as if enraptured by a siren's song. It looked like the baklava that his neighbor made for the birth of his little brother as well as when his caretaker brought him. It was rectangular and had the crispy layers of phyllo, but it alternated eight more times with a thin creamy honey ice cream mixed with nuts. His spoon easily cuts through leaving seven layers of heaven.
His head turned, listening to the group behind him. Now that he knew who was there, he could clearly hear the light hokey laughter of Yiorgos. Judging by how they were talking, it sounded like they were close to being done. He raised a hand toward Venus and gestured for her to come closer. "Don't tell them from who, but I'll take their check. All I ask is for you to pass the following message," he whispered.
Saga slowly enjoyed the last of his dessert as the archer told her what to say and took both checks. He laid his spoon as Aiolos reached into his leather wallet and pulled out several euros. He was curious, but he stayed quiet, choosing to follow the archer's lead. To his surprise, Aiolos gestured his hand down toward a private yet somehow deep hallway and he followed along. That was when he figured it out. Aiolos didn't want the others to see him and if they used lightspeed outside, the foot soldiers would recognize it. Even though they could move fast enough, Aiolos, being the nice guy, didn't want them to be alerted or anxious that a pair of Gold level cosmos were near them.
The loud chatter and clanging of dishes softened until it was a muffle. They passed the two bathrooms and kept walking until they reached the dead-end where an old cedar table and a picture of a bowl of fruit were placed for aesthetic reasons.
The way that Aiolos kept his back turned away from the dining room made it clear his intuition was correct. "So you see the one that bullied you for a third of your life and your reaction is to buy him and his friends dinner. And people say I am the peculiar one." He watched the archer give a small smirk and knew it was one of those times. "So, what's the reason, and what was the message?"
Not wishing for the others to spot his face, he continued to face the Gemini. "I told her to congratulate him. I also said that Athena believes in the spread of goodwill and all I ask is for him to take this good deed, and whether it be through simple gestures or monetary, to simply: Pass it on.
Saga's eyes widened. "What happened to your voice? You sounded like you were possessed."
Aiolos coughed a couple of times and tapped his chest. "Sorry, I swallowed wrong. But yes, that's the idea."
Saga sighed deeply, for sometimes he thinks his friend is a bit too humble. "If you want to deliver that message a bit more effectively, you should've just walked up to them in your noble robes. It may not be your Gold Cloth, but it still delivers the same thing!
Let them see you!
Let them remember you!
Establish it by reminding them who you are.
That way they can feel and regret what they did.
They would know that the person who was nothing before is now in a much higher position and they will pass on to their future kin to be more mindful of their interactions." His strong and mighty voice quietly but firmly projected as he raised his fist and tightened it for extra emphasis as if he was standing before a crowd of a thousand and not his solitary friend.
Aiolos stood there with a soft, but attentive gaze. Saga was such a ham, but he could see his point. "I could've, but it wouldn't be as effective. For one thing, these aren't noblemen who could be startled by someone trying to speak higher than their position. These are men who not only yell at others all the time, but they are yelled at all the time. If someone screams at you a lot, it starts to lose its effectiveness and their words just blur just like if someone punches you, the third hit doesn't feel more or less painful than the twenty-third strike. I'm not saying your approach itself is wrong. In fact, it is perfect for someone like that man that we dealt with earlier. But I know them and if I tried it your way, any words I say would be lost before it hits their ears and they would leave with a big fuck you," he lightly chuckled and Saga laughed with him. That was the nice thing about the Gemini in that they could argue and debate, but easily remain friends.
The Gemini had a smirk on his face. "You do realize that you're putting a lot of faith into this."
And Aiolos agreed. "I do. Your approach at least is more upfront and provides more certainty. The words I told them could be forgotten the moment they step out of this place. I guess the only thing I can do is put my faith in the goddess and pray it stays in their hearts." He shrugged and took his hand and gently gave a single playful knock on the Gemini's chest. "Besides, he's getting married. I don't want to ruin it over a few names and immature behavior in the past when he came here to have a good time and have fun."
Aiolos wasn't quite sure where they aligned, but as he gazed at those beautiful blue eyes he knew he needed to know. He thought when Saga agreed to the hotel, he could hear his own heart over his steps. Then the Gemini threw him for a loop with his obsession with completing an old dare with his brother.
"I had fun too. Thank you for suggesting...this." Aiolos spoke.
Was it just a celebration or was it a date?
He needed to know, but this was a very dangerous duel. One wrong move could end nearly a decade of friendship or make things very awkward anytime he runs into the next Pope.
He rested a single hand on Saga's shoulder and kept a generous space between the two, enough for the Gemini not to feel uncomfortably trapped. A hand on his shoulder was no different than the many times he's congratulated him or his little brother. If Saga just wanted the two to be good friends, they can still leave as such. Tonight could be seen as just a small celebration of helping a village keep their water clean. Hell, they can go back to the hotel and as an act of kindness, he will finish watching the movie so that Saga could someday tell his brother of how he bravely listened to Nightmare on Elm Street. Afterward, they can return to Sanctuary and continue with what they do best: clean up the library in the Pope's Chambers, play a few rounds of chess, or simply beat the living shit out of each other.
For Saga, the warmth of his strong hand felt good. He did notice the space between them, and in truth, he wanted to narrow it. He felt as if a single step is what separates him from the living image of an angel. But what if he was wrong? After all, he had just paid for the dinner of a group of people who treated him like shit. But it's not just that. Then there was the curse, and nothing frightened him more than to harm those who he cared about.
What if he lost control?
But then that warmth faded as Aiolos pulled his hand away.
"They're gone now. We should go back and get our things before we head back to Sanctuary." The archer felt a bit disappointed, but that's how things go. Besides, their friendship was still strong and intact and they had a good time. But before he could turn and step away, Saga's hand filled his, and his cheeks lightly blushed.
The Gemini looked downwards, "oh shit," he thought.
This wasn't the first time their hands held each other. Most of the time, it was done to ease any tension, if the other seemed down, or the classical excuse of healing something that appeared to be broken, but was merely a bruise. But this time was different for it was out of desire. The curse can be quite impulsive, but he knew from experience that it was reading his heart. It was one of the reasons that he kept his distance in the baths to avoid sitting there and just endlessly run his hands at those soft curls, and later when he grew older, to avoid pawing down below.
Goddess, he was left in another bit of Geminism where he feared this handsome man would turn and move on, but the problem was that to prevent this from happening was to move forward.
Now he wasn't sure what to do. If he let his hand go, it would symbolize full-on rejection. He couldn't do that, not to him. Because the longer he held on, the more he realized that perhaps Aiolos does want it too.
But he was extremely nervous. If this was the moment, he wanted it to be special. He leaned in a little closer but hesitated a bit when he heard the slight gasp. But his breath smelled like honey and ice cream, and if that didn't make the archer more inviting, he wasn't sure what would? He leaned forward and for the first time, his lips met his, soft and warm like he's dreamed about.
Aiolos could feel the ghostly tremble. Give Saga a crowd, and he will dominate it. But the truth was Saga was fairly introverted and always felt it was a weakness. However, the archer was one of the few who he was okay with showing that side of himself. "Relax," he mouthed over and returned the gesture, but not too forcefully. His hands slid over the thick silk sleeves before he grasped the Gemini's cool cheeks in warm comfort. There was a slight spin in his head. He could feel as Saga's confidence built up so did the pressure against his mouth.
He was kissing his best friend and it felt so fucking good.
But he pulled back a little, breathing a little heavily, not out of exhaustion, but because if either didn't stop, they were going to do things that could get them kicked out of the restaurant for good. As long as they served Baklava ice cream, like hell will he allow that to happen. "We have the hotel," his breath heavy with anticipation.
Saga's wicked eyes flickered as he bit his bottom lip. "And I have a shortcut," he grabbed the archer's shoulders and spun him around toward the dimensional tear. He could tell that Aiolos knew what was behind him. He watched his head cock back and forth before he somersaulted inside, clearly comfortable traveling through time and space.

The Gemini followed after, landing right next to the archer in the same bed from earlier. He rolled right on top and greeted the archer with a deep kiss to welcome him after the brief separation.
But they didn't come there to just do that. They both pulled away and stared at each other with a hunger in their eyes and nervousness in their chests. First, they pulled off the robes. That was the easy part since they were so thick and hot in that room. Saga loved staring at the streaks of musky sweat on the archer's lean perfect chest as it shined a bit in the small crack of moonlight that slipped from the half-drawn curtains. As their lips latched back together once more, Aiolos pressed his pelvis against him to let him know he felt the same way.
Aiolos felt the Gemini's thumb teasingly slide along the inside garter of his trainers until it stopped in the front before twisting his hand to feel his abs.
"They're so hard," Saga chuckled in between the kiss.
Aiolos rolled his eyes. He was such a tease. They were alone, shirtless now, and yet he was merely fixated with the line that divided his eight-pack. While he enjoyed every caress, especially since they were delivered under the idea of love and not for practical reasons like healing, the Gemini's hand would slide so close and he ached each time he drew it back as if reveling in his torment. But Saga's playful movement was timed. Aiolos waits until the hand slides down. At that moment, Aiolos smoothly slides his pants down and gives the Gemini a warm pleasant surprise.
Saga may have seen it before. Hell everyone has seen each other so many times that if he had the time, he could probably graph the mean, median, and mode of the zodiac. But it was the first time he felt it and he didn't want to let go. Saga's face paused before he curled into a smile. "Well played, Lucas," he huskily whispers before he curls his fingers around the delicate skin and begins to gently jack it, watching Aiolos eyes urging him to keep it up, before Saga reached down and discarded his own trousers.
Throughout the day, fleeting moments of desire did come about, but still, for a moment the two pause, each exchanging a look of disbelief that this was actually happening. There they were, lying side by side and chest to chest with a warm wet heat in between before they continued the kiss from before. But this time, Aiolos' hand slid inside the endless blue hair, gripping his scalp a bit tighter, his kisses deeper, before he slid it down and took hold of his friend for the first time. It was so hot and very ridged, mirroring his own. He gripped it tightly and melted as Saga lets out a groan before he attempted to silence it with his kiss, before failing and released a few silent cries of pleasure.
The Gemini twisted his body a bit. His eyes gazing at the smutty grin of the archer, loving every second of it. As the two stroked and kissed the other, it was clear who had the better hand with every twist and rub that was bringing him closer to reducing him to ashes. Aiolos was a fucking angel of pleasure as he was besting him from the seemingly expert way he switched from gentle strokes to quick and firm pulses. Even the subtle ways his thumb rubbed and pressed the right spots was making it clear that much of the drips of honey was his own, his mind teetering on the edge. "How are you doing it?" he gasped. "It feels so good." At that moment, he felt those same hands teasingly begin to gently caress the sides as if he was debating whether to tell his secret. "Come on...tell me..." he breathly whispered in Aiolos' ear. "I want to do the same to you..."
Aiolos cocks his head. He loved the look in Saga's dark eyes and let's go. He then laid upon the Gemini, pressing against the Gemini's stone chest, his head spun a bit as he took in the musky mixture of the manly sweat of his training partner and the sandalwood cologne. He brushed his smooth-shaven face over Saga's cheek to whisper in his husky drunken voice. "I just imitate how I touch myself."
Saga nearly lost it right there, and it wasn't him switching over to his dark side either. He pulled back, but not because he didn't like it. On the contrary, he simply would hate for all of this to end so soon, fighting the heavy throb in his loins. He took a couple of much-needed breaths even as the archer teased him with a few light taps, feeling the Sagittarius' own small drips of honey fall and mix upon his own.
No.
He will not be first!
Even though he was half-tempted to change his will so that it required for Aiolos to give one of his heavenly hand jobs on his death bed, he won't be the first tonight.
Saga fiercely shoved the archer onto his back, to let him know who was in charge before an onslaught of nips and kisses trailed the edge of the archer's collarbone, feeling him twist underneath. They were both Saints, and sparring was in their blood. "If you think you will beat me, you have another thing coming…" he purred with wicked delight.
The archer raised a brow as he raised his hips up and used his own. Oh yes, Saga was quite sticky right now. "You first…"
The Gemini narrowed his naughty eyes, but knew it was true. His free hand clenching Aiolos' thick shoulder, nails digging in an attempt to hold his ground. "No...you…"
Aiolos shook his playful head. "You're wet...give in…Khris." He slowly slid his hand between their bodies and then up Saga's shaft and felt those precious warm delicious drips cover his knuckles. "In the end...I'm going to win and I will embrace every second of it," he mocked playfully as he licked his hand.
"Don't celebrate too prematurely, Lucas." If the archer thinks he's won, he's sadly mistaken.
Aiolos eyes followed as Saga kissed his way over his heaving chest until he paused back over his abs. He threw a hand in his own hair, his breath quickening as he realized what was about to happen, his skin tingling at the idea of what the Gemini was about to do next, the thought alone was causing him to succumb ever so slightly. But the moment Saga's warm wet tongue tapped his tip, he felt like his body was struck with lightning as a hard gasped followed.
The Gemini grinned.
He was going to win judging by the wide-eyed gaze. Why Saga barely touched him and already Aiolos was going to ditch Athena and worship him from now on. Oh, how the tides have turned. Saga's dark blue eyes turned downwards and delicately kissed it like a budding flower, enraptured by Aiolos' wonderfully large stupid grin. But now was time to unleash the coup de grace. "No peeking," he whispered before he grasped the top of the covers and slammed it over himself like the shell of a clam.
The archer threw his hands over his face. He may have good hands, but Saga had quite the mouth as the more he felt himself weakening, the more the Gemini was polishing off.
So good.
So very very good.
But from here, it can only get better.
It can only get slicker.
Neither wanted it to stop.
Oh, Goddess, Saga was so going to regret it after this.

Aiolos opened his eyes and turned toward Saga's strewn silk blue hair.
His eyes turned toward the window. It was clearly past midnight.
It all felt like some fever dream.
There he was, sleeping in the same bed with the most handsome man in Sanctuary, his sweaty arm wrapped around the Gemini's slick hard chest. A fucking meteor could hit the Earth and he wouldn't have a care in the world.
Aiolos gazed at the chiseled features. His face was peaceful and twitching as if in one of the constant nightmares that he complained about. But he was not surprised. In the afterglow of his own release, he made sure to unleash his own revenge, enjoying a second serving of ice cream. It felt so good and they didn't even use any cosmos or performed the more hardcore things he's heard about. But for now, the archer, unable to resist that striking jawline, leaned forward and began to kiss the edge of it grinning at the pleasant salty taste of his sweat. His lips grew eager as the Gemini began to stir before he let out a pleasant moan before the two kissed a couple more times.
"How long was I asleep?" Saga murmured as he reached over and intertwined his fingers into the archer's.
Aiolos turned toward the digital clock. "About six hours."
Saga blinked a bit as he twisted his head. "Six?" he asked once more. "Goddess…" he murmured.
"Is that bad?"
"No… not at all," Saga spoke. Ever since he was cursed, the voices would be relentless, even in his dreams. Filling them with horror and suggestions. To have such a long time of peaceful rest was a blessing. The Gemini smiled as he twisted around and brought his lips back over to the Sagittarius while tussling through his soft chestnut curls. Here he was thinking that falling for his friend would be the death of him. "Mmm, should we go for another round," he murmured.
"Sounds fantastic," Aiolos murmured, but he pulled away. "But there's something I wanted to ask," he spoke as he sat up. "Should we… tell the others...about us?"
Saga sat up next to him. It was a good question. "Probably not. If we're going to be in the Pope's Chambers, we don't want to have others thinking that all we would do there is...fuck around."
The two laughed. No better words would best describe it.
"Well, I was thinking the same thing. Not just that...I don't think my brother would take it well."
Saga shook his head in agreement. "No, he wouldn't."
"Why do you two not get along?" It was a question that had been burning in his head for a long time. Aiolia used to like hanging around both Kanon and Saga. Saga even babied him more than he did at times.
You're lucky you have a good little brother.
"What changed?" Aiolos whispered.
The Gemini wished he could tell Aiolos, but knew the curse wouldn't permit him. Truth was, that even though the cub didn't know it, despite being five years old at the time, he was able to sense something was wrong with him the moment he was cursed. He still remembered. He tried to give him a high five, but Aiolia turned away as if he was about to touch a corpse. Besides their main techniques, each Gold seemed to develop other mysterious attributes related to their Cloths. Since they never did figure out Aiolia's it made him wonder if that is what it could be. The fact that the curse seemed to harbor dark thoughts toward the cub and believed in self-preservation could be a sign. "I don't know," he lied. "But I told you, if something happens to you, no matter what, I'll watch over him," he spoke as he sank on top of the archer, content with the smooth rhythm of his gentle heartbeat.
Aiolos smiled. Honestly, he'd wish that the two did get along better, but he supposed he'll follow the Pope's advice in that Gold Saints had never truly got along, but the two will eventually grow out of it and perhaps laugh about it in the end. The Lemurian has overseen several generations of Golds and he trusted his wisdom. Not only that, but Shion did make a good point that Saga never physically punched Aiolia while he, on the other hand, had to clock Kanon on multiple occasions. The archer chuckled a bit before his eyes widened.
Saga looked up. "What's wrong?" he whispered as so much color drained from Aiolos face that the headband tan line faded. There's no way his friend would look like this unless it was serious. "What's wrong?"
"...oh shit...Everyone is still in Sweden!" he squeaked. They were supposed to pick them up at 9:00.
"What time is it?"
"1:29," Aiolos spoke and gasped as Another Dimension opened up before he lightspeed over and grasped the device and jerked it out. While everyone else seemed to cower when the Gemini gets the moods, he was one of the few who knew when to be easy and when to call him out on it. "Saga, for fucks sakes! Calm down! Time isn't going to go back because you banished a clock into Saturn! Besides, if you destroy it, we're just going to have to explain what happened to it to the manager and it will cost more time."
The red-eyed Gemini grasped the sides of his hair, tugging them downwards as if hiding his head under a hoodie. "I can't help it! I forgot the Pope in Sweden!
I
FORGOT
THE
POPE
IN
SWEDEN!
WHO DOES THAT!?"
Aiolos hurried back over and grasped Saga's shoulders. "Khris, listen to me! I forgot too! Now, if the others were in trouble or extremely mad, they would be sending messages through the cosmos like crazy. But they aren't! They aren't in danger! They aren't in the middle of the Underworld or the edge of Atlantis! Saga, They are in a parking lot in Sweden! SWEDEN! You know, the most dangerous place in the world!" He chuckled, watching Saga, despite his red eyes, seemingly holding back a bit of laughter from his pleasant sarcasm. He continued. "We'll apologize! If they are that upset, we'll take them to Kraken Degel's and buy them baklava ice cream or whatever it takes to get them back in their graces." He bit his lip. "Although maybe one of us should relieve the Silvers…."
Saga waved a hand. "They're fine. If they bitch about guarding Sanctuary for one whole day when we've been on constant fucking vigilance for years, they should be demoted to Bronzes." He grumbled before he sank back into the archer. He rested his sweaty head against Aiolos' shoulder.
Aiolos turned downwards and pulled him as tight as he could. "Let's clean up, check out, and go over. But you need to calm down first, okay?" he asked before he reached down and clutched the Gemini's cheeks and pressed his forehead against his.
Saga felt his eyes return to blue as he nodded before the two shared a tender kiss of assurance. "I'm so glad I have you." Aiolos always knew what to say during these times.
The Sagittarius smiled. "Me too. Now let's take care of this."
