AN: ATTENTION ALL READERS! You voted for it, I've written it! Proudly presenting right here on fanfiction, it is Rosario + Dragon, starring my OC son of Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu! Personally, I was hoping that either Legend of Korra or Teen Titans would win for the crossover category, but I think I can work with this. I hope that you all enjoy this story, but I should find it fair to warn you that I may be slow to update this story due to a lack of resources for Rosario + Vampire.

I'm being serious. I do not know how often I'll be able to update this story or how long the chapters will be, so I do NOT want to see any reviews saying things like 'When U gonna update?' or 'Hurry up and update this story already!' because those particular reviews can get annoying real quickly! I appreciate the positive feedback and constructive criticism that I get for my stories, but I don't want people pressuring me to rush when it comes to updating my stories!

Okay? Okay, on with the story. Thank you for understanding.

Prologue: A Dragon's Flight in Exile

Setting a neatly folded piece of paper on his nightstand, a fourteen year old boy took one last look at the room that he's called his bedroom for so much of his young life. Legend of Spyro and Pro Hero memorabilia littered his shelves, and his walls were decorated with posters of his favorite heroes like the previous Number 1 Hero, All Might, and his own mother and father, Deku and Creati. There was, however, a much larger poster hung above his bed depicting Spyro the Dragon, his adopted dragonfly brother, Sparx, and an ebony black dragoness known as Cynder. But his most important and treasured object was a framed photograph of himself with his parents on New Year's Eve.

The boy himself stood at a height of 167cm, which was just a smidge taller than most other fourteen year old boys. He had a pale skin texture along with a light tan, slanted almond-shaped eyes that were forest green in color, and straight black hair that grew to the small of his back which he kept in a thin warrior's wolf tail. He had a streak of red dyed into his hair which he left dangling in front of his face so it covers most of his left eye. Underneath each eye was a cluster of three freckles which formed triangle shapes under his eyes.

He didn't feel good about what he was about to do, but he steeled his resolve knowing that it had to be done for the honor of his family.

He would go into a self-imposed exile.

(OH YEAAAAH, DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO BE BACK! It's Izuna Midoriya, the son of Pro Heroes and UA graduates Deku and Creati! Never thought I'd see those two get hitched. Always expected Deku to hook up with Uravity. Anyway, his quirk is called Dragon Heart, and it's a wild Mutation Quirk that allows Izuna both full and partial transformation into a purple Western European style dragon. With it, he gains all of the benefits of a dragon's kickass anatomy including claws, fangs, horns, a scaly hide that's stronger than any known manmade armor, flight, and of course a lethal fire breath attack. And if I were to wager a guess, I'd say he can also use magic like dragons from popular pop culture if he trains with his quirk hard enough. Hey, you think he could pull a rabbit out of his hat?)

Now I know what you're thinking. 'Why is Izuna running away from home? Why self-exile of all things?'. Well, to understand I need to explain certain events that took place earlier that very same day. The day started out just like any other.

The same sun had shone upon his freckled face, he got dressed in the same UA uniform he always wore for school, bumped into his door since he's not a morning person, went downstairs and ate breakfast with the rest of his classmates. Most of whom were children of the graduates from UA's Legendary Year. There were those such as Tenko Iida who had inherited his father's engine quirk but with a unique twist, Gamakage, who was the son of Tsuyu and Tokoyami and had inherited a fusion of his parents' quirks, and finally Asuka Todoroki who had inherited a much stronger version of the fire half of her father's Half Hot/Half Cold quirk while having a much higher resistance to fire than even Endeavor had. She called the quirk Apollo's Touch, since she felt that naming a fire quirk after a God of the sun was ironically appropriate. These were just a few of Izuna's classmates.

Or rather, his now former classmates.

You see, Izuna Midoriya was recently expelled from UA all together due to an honest misunderstanding that has turned his friends, a majority of their parents, and all of the civilians in his home town at least, against him. But we'll get to that later.

Young Izuna sighed sadly as it truly sunk in just how quickly his life had gone downhill. Once he was at the height of his young life as a student in UA High School's Hero Course, and now he was going into a self-imposed exile. His parents still cared for and supported him despite all that's happened, goodness knows, but he doesn't want them to suffer because of his presence after the misunderstanding that's cost him everything. He packed only the essentials that he knew he'd need for this exile of his.

He packed several changes of clothes, about two weeks worth of food which would last him a month at the most if he rationed it out, his wallet, his entire savings which was about 10,000 Japanese Yen(which really isn't a lot of money all things considered, but it's better than being broke), and a hastily thrown together disguise which was originally meant to be his Hero Costume for the Hero Course. But due to circumstances he was never able to use it for its intended purpose.

"I guess my dream of being a hero will never come true, huh Dad?" Izuna quietly said to himself. "I couldn't even prove my own innocence. And Principal Vlad King was certainly no help in that regard."

Izuna shook his head as he tried not to dawdle. The longer he stayed around, the more hesitant he would be to go through with his plan.

After making sure that he had everything packed up, Izuna zipped up his suitcase and set it on his bed. Then he reached into his bedside desk drawer and pulled out the switchblade his uncle Bakugo had got him for Christmas last year. He gave it to him for self defense purposes stating that it was better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. And honestly, despite his mother's fussing over his Uncle Bakugo giving him a weapon of any sort as a weapon, which is somewhat hypocritical considering how Izuna's favorite babysitter Eri got a huge Buster Sword that was twice her size when she was a little girl on her first real Christmas, Izuna and even his father agreed with Bakugo about that.

But this blade wasn't going to be used for self defense.

It was going to be used for something else.

Going into his bathroom Izuna moved that single bang that hangs over his eye out of the way and unsheathed his switch blade. He hesitated for just a moment as he looked at the knife. It had a blade that was straight and sharp like a tanto, but the edge had absolutely no wear and no smear of blood.

It hadn't even been used once… until today!

Tightening his grip and steeling his resolve, Izuna raised the blade and with the precision of a true swordsman he brought that knife down and slashed himself across his eye with the cut stopping just above his freckles! Gritting his teeth to hold in the scream of pain that wanted to escape his throat, Izuna watched as his blood flowed into the sink and down the drain. He turned on the water to help eliminate any traces of blood from the sink as he focused on dressing the wound. With expert skill he closed his injured eye and placed a sterilized cotton pad over it before applying medical tape to keep it in place as he wrapped bandages around his eye and head.

"This wound shall be a scar to forever remind me of the choice I have made here today. My choice to go into exile until my innocence is proven… or the day I die." Izuna said to himself.

Despite his pain and newfound lack of depth perception, Izuna walked out of the bathroom and grabbed his bag. It was finally time to leave. He decided to fly out the window to the least populated area outside the city. From there he'd catch a bus and have it take him anywhere but home. He opened his window and jumped out as he spread his red, leathery dragon wings with yellow membranes as well as growing a purple scaled dragon tail with a row of white spines going down it and a yellow pyramid style spade growing at the tip. His tail was obviously to provide directional control and flight stability, but that's not important.

Lucky for Izuna his flight was a silent one and there would be no pro heroes patrolling the night in this area which was fine by him. The less people who noticed him, the better.

Landing at the bus stop, Izuna set his bag down and sat on the bench as his wings and tail retracted. He didn't have to wait long as a few minutes later a bus drove up to the bus stop. His heart was heavy as he boarded the bus before being greeted by the bus driver: a man with glowing pale yellow eyes.

"So where to, kid?" the man asked gravely voice.

Which honestly kinda put Izuna on edge, but he didn't let it get to him.

"Please take me anywhere but here." Izuna requested as he paid for the ride.

The driver nodded and closed the bus doors before driving off as Izuna got seated and set his bag next to him. The boy took one last look at the town that had once been his home, sadness evident in his one visible eye. As the city got smaller and smaller, Izuna placed a hand on the window and closed his eye.

'Mom, Dad, I'm sorry… but I have to find the truth on my own. Without UA, without pro heroes, and… and without you.'

And so, the son of pro heroes Deku and Creati rode off into the unknown, unaware that this moment would set into motion a series of events that will shape him into the greatest hero of his generation.
