Hello all Storm here with another new story! Nothing else to say other than hope you enjoy it. So, without further ado.
I own nothing
'What have I done?'
This was not the first time that Kushina thought this as she sat in the kitchen of her home staring at nothing in particular. One hand was resting on her stomach where her… child was growing.
'It's also that… demon's child as well.' Kushina thought with a grimace, as she thought of her child's father.
She couldn't believe she had been so stupid as to trust him, but she had been desperate to fulfill her desire and all she had to do was carry his child. It had only been after the deed was done that Kushina realized the consequences of her actions.
Kushina still remembered how this all started, the day she had learned about the destruction of Uzushiogakure and the Uzumaki clan at the hands of Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri. When she had first been informed of this, she didn't react to it; she wasn't angry, sad, depressed, or anything, she just felt hollow and empty. She had left the Hokage's Office and gone home before locking herself in her room and didn't see anyone, not her friends, not her boyfriend Minato, no one, she just sat in her room and stared at the wall.
Though while she hadn't given an outward reaction, in the inside she was a complete wreck. Screaming, crying, picturing the destruction of the three villages that invaded her home one, and destroying everything around her; but she didn't act on these urges, knowing that if she gave in just an inch, the Kyuubi would jump at the chance to try and influence her.
So, yes Kushina was heartbroken and depressed at the destruction of her home, Uzushiogakure will always be her home no matter what, and clan. But above all else, she was angry, beyond angry, at everyone responsible for attacking Uzu. The Uzumaki Clan never did anything to the Hidden Villages nor got involved in any wars, not even during the Clan Wars did they get involved or even helped their distant blood relatives the Senju Clan. The only times they got involved in the fighting was when someone attacked them first. And now her clan was gone, all because of the fear people felt for Uzumaki for their skill in Fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu.
That's why her clan was destroyed, because of fear!
Though from an unbiased point of view, Kushina can understand the fear people felt for the Uzumaki. After all who wouldn't be afraid of a clan that could create a mask to summon and control the God of Death. But that didn't lessen the anger and hatred she felt at those responsible. And with that hatred came a desire for revenge.
Unfortunately, Kushina knew she couldn't attack three of the Five Great Nations on her own, even if she somehow managed to get the Kyuubi to cooperate, given Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri together had a total of six Jinchuuriki. She also couldn't count on Konoha to help her as she doubted the Sandaime would declare war on three nations, even if it meant retaliation for destroying an allied village and clan; the same clan the Shodaime Hokage married a member of.
With limited options, Kushina did the only thing she could think of, she began working on a seal to summon a being powerful enough to destroy Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri. Of course, she did this in secret, knowing if anyone discovered what she was doing, they'd try to stop her or sway from her desire of revenge.
Kushina kept the seal a secret from everyone, even her best friend Mikoto and her now husband Minato. While Minato might understand her desire for justice, given he lost two of his students thanks to the actions of Iwa and Kiri, she knew that he'd still try to stop her. But Kushina wouldn't stop, not until her clan was avenged.
None of them would even be able understand the pain she felt, her entire clan was wiped out, she'll never be able to visit Uzu again, see her family, and whenever she'd think about her clan the memories will be tainted in that they were all she had left of them. So no, nothing will stop her not until the ones responsible knew what it was like to have everything that they cared about ripped away from them.
Finally, after three years Kushina had completed the seal and succeeded in summoning a being that could help her avenge her clan. At the time he had looked like a normal man, aside from the red eyes, and the power she sensed from him. Having succeeded in summoning a being Kushina then politely bowed, given she wasn't sure if he was friendly or not, and asked him for his help. He had clearly been intrigued and asked what she desire, so Kushina told him of her wish to avenge her clan and that she summoned him, not specifically him, to help her. The man appeared to think it over before finally agreeing to help her, on one condition.
She had to carry his child.
This had made Kushina hesitate, knowing if she went through with it then she'll have not only cheated on Minato, but will also be carrying another man's child. Part of Kushina knew she should have turned back, but a bigger part of herself knew she had already come too far and it was already too late to turn back.
So, she agreed to carry his child.
That had been single handedly the biggest mistake Kushina has made in her life.
It had only been after the deed was done that he revealed his true form, that he wasn't human. He was a demon, a real demon, and she'd just let herself be impregnated by him. Other than that, the only thing she learned was his name.
Trigon.
Thankfully Trigon was sent back to… wherever the hell she summoned him from, leaving Kushina to come to terms with what she's done.
Now here she was three months later and still processing.
She had already begun showing in her pregnancy. Kushina had briefly contemplated getting rid of the child and destroying all traces of the seal she used to summon Trigon, but she couldn't do it. No matter who the child's father was, it was innocent and deserved a chance a life. Though Kushina had destroyed the seal and swore to raise her child to be good and not become like their father.
Of course, Kushina had to pass the child off as Minato's, ignoring the guilt at lying as she did, given there's no telling what the people would do if it was discovered she was carrying a demon's child. She already wasn't liked due to being an "outsider".
'It doesn't matter. I'll protect you from anyone that tries hurting you, even from your father if I have to.' Kushina swore rubbing her stomach.
The least she could do is be happy that she'll be a mother and Minato will be a good father to her baby.
Unknown to Kushina, she'll never get the chance to raise her daughter. She'll grow up an orphan and hated, she'll be alone until the day she taps into her power inherited from her father.
And on that day, the Elemental Nations days will be numbered.
*Timeskip-Six Years*
Six years have passed, six years since the Kyuubi attack.
No one knows how it happened, only that on the night of October tenth the Kyuubi appeared in the center of the village and began destroying everything, killing hundreds in the process. It wasn't until the Yondaime Hokage arrived and teleported the Kyuubi away that the villagers could rest easy knowing the Yondaime would deal with the Kyuubi.
However, the next day the entire village learned that Yondaime died fighting the Kyuubi, sacrificing his life to seal the beast away into a newborn infant.
The infant being Raven Uzumaki, his stepdaughter. Not that anyone was aware of this, not even the Yondaime himself.
When the villagers learned that the beast that nearly destroyed their village, had killed their friends and family members, everyone wanted revenge and called for the child's death or to be turned into an obedient weapon. All of them completely disregarding the Yondaime's wish for Raven to be seen as a hero for holding back the Kyuubi.
In order to protect Raven, the recently reinstated Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, created a law forbidding anyone from telling the younger generation of Raven's status as the Kyuubi's container. This was done in the hope of Raven being able to form bonds and make friends with other children.
Unfortunately, Raven was unable to make friends with the other children, due to the fact the parents making sure to tell their children not to hang around Raven. Along with the children hating Raven like their parents, they may not know the reason their parents hate the girl, but it must be for a good reason, so they hated her as well.
Raven meanwhile had a lonely childhood, never having a family or any friends, she found solace in reading books, which had become one of her hobbies. Though she still desired to have friends, to have fun with other children.
Currently Raven stood at the entrance of a park, watching the other children playing.
At six-years-old Raven could be described as a "goth child", with her short black hair that went down to just above her shoulders, dark amethyst purple eyes, pale skin with a gray tint, and her penchant for wearing black and dark blue clothes. One of her unique features though were the three whisker marks on each of her cheeks.
Raven looked at the other children, taking a deep breath hoping this time will be different from all her other attempts at trying to make friends.
Walking up to them Raven waved getting their attention.
"Hello. Would I be able to-"
"Come on let's go!" One of them said as they all left, leaving Raven standing their dejected that they didn't even let her finish speaking before running away
Lowering her head, Raven turned around to go back to her apartment. Though she didn't get far when she bumped into someone. Looking she saw three older boys, she recognized them as Academy students as well. Raven went to walk around them, only for one of them to grab her shoulder and throw her back in front of them.
"And just where do you think you're going freak?" He demanded, with Raven frowning at the insult.
"Home." Raven stated.
"Oh really? I don't think so, you bumped into me and I deserve an apology." He sneered, the other two snickering as if something funny was said.
"Sorry. Now leave me alone." Raven said, brushing his hand off her shoulder and went to go around them again.
But once again she was stopped, only this time she was pushed down as the three now stood around.
"No, I don't think so. I think it's time someone taught you a lesson, that no one wants you around freak!" One shouted.
Raven stood up and brushed herself off and went to leave again, only to be pushed back.
"We didn't say you could leave brat!" Another said, glaring at her.
"I don't want any trouble. Please just let me leave." Raven said, her eyes shadowed by her hair.
"Why it's not like anyone's waiting for you. After all no one wants to be friends with a freak like you, and you don't have any family. You're just a sad little orphan!" Taunted the bully.
Raven didn't react as they started taunting her and calling her names.
"Just let me go." Raven muttered, going to leave again only for them to start pushing her around.
"No, not until you finally learn no one wants to be your friend! No one even wants you around!"
"Leave me alone…" Said Raven, clenching her fists.
"Yeah everyone hates you anyway! Just do us all a favor and leave!"
"Please… stop…" Raven whispered as she started getting angry.
One of the bullies pushed her to the ground again and they all laughed and pointed at her.
"Maybe that's why your parents abandoned you, they didn't want to raise a freak like you!"
Raven went completely still at those words, as she felt something inside her snap.
"I said…" Raven said before her head snapped up and the bullies stumbled back in fear when they saw her face.
As rather than her normal purple eyes, her eyes were a solid glowing red color.
"… LEAVE ME ALONE!" Raven shouted with her voice sounding raspy and demonic.
Her shout was accompanied by a blast of black and purple energy that launched the boys back.
Breathing heavily Raven's eyes returned to normal and they widened as she realized what she just did. Looking at her hands in shock before looking at the bullies who now looked at her in fear.
"Come on, let's get out of here!" One shouted, the other two nodding as they all ran, but not before Raven heard one of them say something else.
"The adults were right she is a demon!" Said another.
Raven looked at her hands, that were now shaking both at what she did and what they said.
'A… a demon? They think I'm a demon. But-but I didn't mean to, I just wanted them to leave me alone. I didn't mean to hurt anyone.' Raven thought, afraid of what she just did.
Without thinking Raven ran back home before anyone could show up.
*Timeskip-One Year*
Raven, now wearing a white and grey hooded cloak, was levitating on the roof of her apartment building with a pentagram drawn on the roof and five lit candles at each of the five points.
One would think the entire scene looked like a demonic ritual and they wouldn't be entirely wrong.
A year had passed since the incident in the park, the bullies obviously told others of what happened and in a matter of few days, everyone in the village knew what she did. This had only made things worse for Raven as now people hated her even more, some people have even started throwing rocks or garbage at her, though they never actually hit her as this strange power she had always stopped the objects and sent them straight back at the throwers.
This also didn't win her any points with people.
Now lonelier and more hated than ever, Raven had given up on trying to make friends as now kids ran away if they so much as saw her walking by. Her only solace was reading books to distract herself from the isolation.
The one good thing to come from awakening these powers was giving Raven a clue as to who her parents were. After all, how else could she have these powers beside inheriting them from one, or both, of her parents. Though that was it, as she still had no idea who they were, if they were alive, dead, if they even wanted her.
The only thing Raven could do was to better practice using her powers and see if her parents would be able to sense her using them. Even if they didn't want her to begin with, Raven would at least like some closure and maybe making sense of who she was. So, she practiced with her powers and found what she could do, Raven having learned she can fly, telekinesis, fire blasts of black and purple energy, telepathy, teleportation, and learning she was an empath. Though that last power didn't really help, when the only emotions she sensed was hatred and fear all directed at her.
This is what lead Raven to performing a ritual on the roof of her apartment building. It was something Raven had read in book about Summons, she was hoping that if she used her powers in place of Chakra, she'd be able to summon her parents, teleport herself to them, or even telepathically communicate with them.
She honestly wasn't even sure if this would work, but Raven was desperate for answers and was willing to try anything.
Taking a breath Raven channeled her power into the pentagram causing the lines to light up with purple fire while the candles were blown out. Opening her eyes, Raven lowered herself to the ground and saw storm clouds in the once clear skies. Dark blue lightning jumped down from the clouds, Raven feeling a little worried she did something to cause this.
'Huh.' Raven thought, looking down when she saw a red glow.
Stepping back in fear when she saw a red pillar of energy shoot up into the sky. Immediately two glowing red eyes opened up in the pillar, followed by two more eyes above the first pair. Then stepping out of the now identified portal was being that looked like it came straight out of her nightmares.
It was a gigantic figure, easily standing taller than the Hokage Monument, with four glowing red eyes, dark red skin decorated with darker colored markings, long white hair, horns jutting out of the side of its head, and black and red shorts, vanbraces, and shin guards.
The villagers called her a demon, but this thing standing before her was a real demon.
What scared Raven the most was the demon was looking right her and then gave a terrifying smile before it spoke.
"Hello… dear daughter." Said the demon.
Raven stepped back in shock, both that the demon spoke to her and what it just said.
'D-daughter?! But then… this thing…' Raven thought.
"Dad." Raven whispered in shock.
If possible, his smile widened and became even more frightening.
He then turned his gaze to the villagers who were running and screaming in terror, and the Ninja that had gathered to confront this threat only to stare in shock when they finally got a good look at just what they were up against.
"Humans, your world, your pathetic lives, they now belong to TRIGON THE TERRIBLE!" Trigon declared before unleashing a devastating wave of destructive crimson energy.
Raven watched in horror, with tears falling from her eyes, as the energy wave incinerated anything and anyone it touched, leaving only destruction in its wake.
"This… this is my fault." Raven said, horrified of what her actions have cause.
She didn't want this, she only wanted to find out where she came from, who her parents are. Well she just found out who her father is and now thanks to her, he's going to destroy the entire world.
"AH!" Raven screamed when she was suddenly lifted up and held in Trigon's hand.
"Thank you, daughter, for helping usher in a glorious new age. Now let's go, I believe I have a promise to keep, to your mother." Trigon said cruelly as he unleashed energy blasts from his eyes.
Raven could only watch helplessly as Trigon destroyed everything in his path, killing anyone that got in his way and even going out of his way just to kill people.
'What have I done?' Raven thought, unknowingly echoing her mother's thoughts seven years ago.
*Timeskip-Eight Years*
'It's finally over.' Raven thought, while lowering herself down to a platform and stood in front of a large red gem that she could hear her father screaming from within, demanding she release him.
Eight years have passed since her foolish decision that ended in summoning her father to the Elemental Nations, where he then proceeded to lay waste to the entire world. As for the Ninja Villages react to this, they tried fighting him or trapping him to seal him away. It all ended the same way as Konoha, the Hidden Villages being wiped out and everyone being reduced to ash.
Like sheep to the slaughter.
The only ones he didn't kill were the other Jinchuuriki and that was just so he could extract their Tailed Beasts, then seal them into her with the Tailed Beasts merging with the Kyuubi that had already been sealed in her, reforming the Juubi. Her father's reasoning was that their power would prove useful for his goals.
All in all, it took less than a month for her father to destroy the Elemental Nations and she could do nothing but watch.
Afterwards he had taken her to his realm, where Raven was forced to see all the horrors there, visions of the world he's conquered, civilizations destroyed, millions of lives wiped out.
Over the years, Raven learned of her father's desire to conquer a world called Earth, but in order to open a portal to Earth he needed a powerful conduit. Raven, being half-human and half-demon, was to serve as his way into Earth, she was to be his portal.
That's why she was born, to serve as a conduit for her father to reach the worlds he couldn't normally get to himself. He'd also made it a point to tell Raven just why she was born, that her mother desired revenge for her destroyed village and so she summoned Trigon. In exchange for his help, she would carry his child, her. Well he did keep his end of the deal technically, given Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri were nothing but ash.
But now Raven knew the truth, she's just a tool to her father and her mother died the day she was born, so she didn't even know if she even cared about her. Raven knew where she came from and she just felt more alone than ever. Though she refused to be the reason another world is destroyed because of her father.
Her father planned to have her open a portal to Earth, but he had underestimated just how powerful Raven was. She pretended to open a portal, when really her intentions were to seal her father away in a sacred red gem where he could no longer threaten any world.
Flying up Raven held up her hands as her eyes glowed purple as a tower structure began forming around Trigons prison.
"You'll never hurt anyone ever again." Raven stated, before opening a portal and leaving this hell.
All while blocking out her father's enraged shouts to release him.
*Konoha*
Stepping out of the portal, Raven saw she was back in Konoha, or at least what was left of it. Looking down, Raven walked through the destroyed village.
This was her fault, all the destruction and death, because of a childish desire of knowing who her parents were, of she was.
The chance to finally have a home with a family.
Hearing something crack under her feet, Raven looked and saw she had stepped on a mirror.
She looked the same as she did eight years ago, only looking older. With some minor changes to her appearance and having different clothes. a hooded dark navy-blue cloak with purple interior, matching dark blue ruffled ankle-boots with blackish-gray soles, and a sleeveless leotard, matching fingerless arm sleeves with bluish-black cuffs at her wrists. On her cloak, she has a circular red jewel set in a gold plate that attaches the whole thing together. Just below her waist, she has another red jewel set in a gold plate, while her legs are covered by nylons. Her hair was now more violet colored than black, and she had a red gem inlaid with black on her forehead as well. The gem was part of same one she sealed her father in, she used it to help suppress her more… demonic urges.
Her whisker marks were also gone as well, having faded over the years.
Looking at her face in the cracked mirror, only the lower half was visible while the upper half was hidden in shadows.
"Who am I?" Raven asked out loud.
Knowing she wouldn't receive an answer, Raven sighed before holding her hand up opening another portal. She had nothing left here and she wasn't going back to her father's realm, so she'll find a new world and maybe she'll eventually find the home she's always wanted.
So, what did you think, good. Yep this time Naruko, or Raven, is the daughter of Kushina and Trigon, as I've seen stories where Naruto is Trigon, but never ones where Naruko is Raven. Also her appearance is a mix of both the original "Teen Titans" show and from "Justice League vs. Teen Titans", as while the former appearance will always be the best I do like the new design as well, so I mixed both together. Now Raven has sealed her father away and is going to a new world to hopefully find a home and friends. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
Storm out
