Chapter 3: A Dragon in the Battle Ring

At Amazon Lily

Natsu and Happy were taken to the cell(the same one where Luffy was taken to when he on Amazon Lily)while unconscious. The fire dragon slayer started to open his eyes as he did he heard chants and cheers. "Man, where am I..."He then felt like he was laying something soft. "Huh? A bed, when did I..." He stopped abruptly as he saw from outside the cell a bunch of women wielding spears and swords. "What gives...and..." Happy began to wake up. "Natsu, what is going on?"

Marguerite gasped quietly in disbelief. "Wait, that little...cat..."

Happy began to rub his head while walking towards his friend. "Natsu, what you looking at?"

Sweet Pea shared the same reaction. "Whoa! That cat talks!"

The rest of Kuja were surprised while chanting loudly however Kikyo knew it wasn't the time. "Enough!" The Kuja tribe went quiet as the woman approached closer to the cell. "Listen young man, you are trespassing on Amazon Lily. Your reason of being is a crime and-"

Natsu's stomach growled as well as Happy's.

"I feel hungry!" Natsu groaned putting his hand on his stomach.

"Aye, ladies you have a scrapes we can chow on?" Happy asked.

The Kujas were silent as the childish pout they just heard from the two. "Is he really hungry..." Ran said as Nerine spoke up. "While being locked in cell?"

Aphelandra giggled a bit. "Reminds me of Luffy."

Kikyo growled simply not amused. "Enough! Young man like I said you and your pet are trespassing on Amazon Lily!"

Natsu titled his head in confusion. "Amazon...Willy?" The Kujas went dropped to the ground at the boy's stupidty. "Is he really not-" Kikyo's voice enrupted. "Argh Enough of this nonsense!"

Ran had to admit that the boy's behavior familar. "He reminds of Luffy."

Natsu's stomach growled again. "I want some grilled fish!" Happy disgusted. "Aye, but I pefer raw instead..." Natsu stuck his tongue out disgust. "Gross, I think we should have a cook then."

Happy accepted that challenge. "Aye sir...bring it!" Kikyo was getting really annoyed at the man and his cat's childish behavior.

"Nyon! What is going on here!" A voice called out. An Elder woman holding a purple snake with it's upper body curled up.

Seeing that was surprising Natsu and Happy. "Whoa, that old hag is holding a purple snake!"

"Aye!"

The Kujas pirates started gawking at the pinkette boy words as Gloriosa's eyes were covered and she gave off a glare that startled the two. "What did you call me you filthy man!"

Natsu and Happy hugged in each other in fear. "Whoa scary!"

"She's pissed!"

Purupuru...purupuru...purupuru..."Gloriosa took a transponder snail out of her pocket. "Click."

A voice then came from the snail. "Elder Nyon, what is the situation with the boy and his cat."

Happy was annoyed with the word cat. "Hey, I'm an Exceed not a cat!"

"Shut up!" Gloriosa yelled.

The blue exceed went silent as the elder amazon lady began to speak to the snail. "Snake Princess, this boy is quite the handful, he even called me an..."old hag."

The snail went silent as the Gloriosa wondered why the empress didn't respond. "Snake Princess Hancock, hello, are you there?"

Just then a laugh came from the snail(which was laughing too). "Heh, heh, an old hag, that's funny!"

Gloriosa was getting tired of this comedy scene as she was about to speak the snake princess pulled herself together. "Elder Nyon, what is this boy and his cat doing here though?"

The elder woman wondered that too as she looked at the two. "Listen young man, you probably don't know but men are forbidden to step foot on Amazon Lily not matter what!"

Boa Hancock began to think this through. "Hmm, this boy and his cat seem interesting but not as much as my Luffy!" She pulled herself together. "Elder Nyon, take this boy and his cat to the area!"

Gloriosa gasped quietly. "Eh?! Snake Princess, are you serious?!" A small appeared on the Empress' face. "Yes, I hope to see if this guy lasts long enough!"

The elder woman sighed. "Very well, if that's your decision." The cage door opened as Natsu and Happy were surprised but confused at the same time. "What is going on?"

"It's your lucky day, you two will be taken to the battle ring of Amazon Lily!" Gloriosa replied. "So you better be strong!"

Natsu just grinned. "A battle ring huh?" That grin got the elder's attention. "That grin..."

Kikyo approached the boy and his cat. "Young man, you and your cat follow me."

Natsu just continued to grin. "I was hoping to get a chance to battle Laxus back home, but I suppose this battle ring shall be fun."

The Kuja pirates were impressed by the boy's courage.

"Is this boy not scared?"

"Not at all but when Elder Nyon shouted, he was scared."

Kikyo escorted the boy and the blue exceed to the battle ring. "It's strange, this boy has such courage to accept a fight in the battle ring." An image of Luffy and the way he battle against the Kuja pirates, Bacura, and Hancock's two Gorgon Sisters. "Could he have the same fiery spirit as Luffy?"

At the battle ring

The Kuja pirates took their seats while the Kikyo remained at Natsu's side for a minute. "Listen you think you can just accept this fight?" Natsu was confused. "Young man, just so you know, you aren't the first man to lay foot on Amazon Lily."

That got the dragon slayer's attention. "Really, who was this man?"

Kikyo smirked. "If you live through this, you might find out."

Natsu grinned. "Don't worry, I'll be fine and I will win this fight." The Pinkette boy walked down to the center of the area with Happy. "Natsu, you think these women will try anything funny?"

"We'll just have to wait and see where this fight goes?" Natsu replied shrugging his shoulders.

Happy smiled. "Aye sir."

Marigold and Sandersonia stood by their sister Boa Hancock(who was sitting on a large throne like chair). "Listen up, I would like to know your name and how you got here on this island?"

"Huh? I thought you wanted fight me?" Natsu asked. "But if that's what you want, I'm Natsu Dragneel, this little guy is my friend Happy!"

Happy saluted and raised his paw. "Aye!"

"But anyway, I was with some of friends of mine and we caught in a gateway portal. The next thing I knew I woke up on this island of women."

Gloriosa was puzzled at the gateway part. "Gateway, portal, what is this boy going on about?"

"What does this boy mean by gateway?" A Kuja warrior asked.

"Don't ask me, I never heard of such a thing." A 2nd kuja replied.

Boa Hancock wasn't buying that story. "Likely story, but I can't be too trusting to a man, however if you're lying to me, then that shall give you a painful death."

"Listen, my friends and I just got reunited after we saved my guildmaster from being killed!" Natsu proclaimed. "You see, the guild I was part is called Fairy Tail!

The Kuja pirates and the three gorgon sisters were confused but some were interested to hear more as Natsu continued to speak. "Our guild was disbanded by gramps who named Makarov. He went to another region to buy us some time to protect from a empire called Alvarez by trying to negotiate with them but only to be almost killed by their king. Honestly my friends and I were worried about gramps, he's not just a master of our guild. He's our pops and family.

Margaret then remembered those words similar to Luffy's. "I thank you for you help and if you need something just ask. Anyway my friends and I got sent flying by away. I just hope they're alive and if they are then we'll be ready to fight again."

Boa Hancock was little unsure to believe the man's words. "Leaving this place is by dying, your departure is not happening, also this is the female warrior nation of Amazon Lily, here is strength is regarded as true beauty, show us your strength that you possess and be grateful that I give you and your cat death in battle." She then smiled. "Release Bacura now.'

Natsu tilt his head in confusion. "Bacura?" Just then a loud thud was heard from behind him and Happy. "Whaa?! The two turned around and saw a large panther like creature. "What is that?"

"It's a panther, but doesn't look like Lily!" Happy exclaimed.

"Yes, the panther you see is the executioner of Amazon Lily, also his name is Bacura, once he devours you and your pet, not a single from either you will be left to remember by."

Bacura's mouth was drooling with saliva as Natsu didn't flinch an inch.

Hancock was amused. "I wonder if this boy will survive?"

Sanderwonia shared that thought as well. "Last time a man faced him was Luffy, I just wonder if this guy will be challenge."

Marigold smiled. "We'll find out but normally Bacura plays with his prey but since he hasn't eaten much lately he'll eat you in one bite."

Natsu didn't flinch and lowered his head. "Is that so."

"That man isn't scared?"

"Why is he lowering his head though?"

Happy just smiled. "They're in for a surprise."

Bacura was getting anxious as Boa Hancock knew it was time. "NOW BACURA KILL HIM!"

The large panther like creature leapt towards the pinkette boy as she did Natsu quickly turned around as his hand was engulfed in fire which got the Gorgon sister's attention. "Fire?"

"Fire Dragon's: Iron Fist!" He delivered a single fiery punch into Bacura's muzzle as the Kuja and three Gorgon Sisters were left in surprise as the panther was sent crashing into the other side of the arena's seats and was shown to be unconscious and left a burnt mark on her face where Natsu punched her.

"He punched Bacura and took her out without breaking a sweat." Ran said in surprise. "That wasn't Haki either and I could've sworn I saw fire lit on the hand he used to punch."

Daisy was shocked. "Could he have a devil fruit power?"

Kikyo noticed that too. "He said Fire Dragon's Iron Fist. But I never heard of an attack like that."

Natsu was able to hear the words of women due to his sense of high hearing. "Devil Fruit...Haki...what does are those?"

Happy then sprout his wings. "Natsu, I think I'm ready to fight too."

Sweet Pea was surprised. "Whoa, that cat is flying!"

Margeret was surprised. "That's incredible!"

Boa Hancock was impressed but this battle was far from over. "I admit that fiery punch was unexpected, you see the last man who punched Bacura didn't use fire. Anyway this is just the beginning, now Marigold and Sandersonia take his head along with his pet!"

The two Gorgon sisters jumped into the air.

"We shall see if you're capable of winning this fight."

"Let's show this man our Devil Fruit power!"

The two amazon women turned into snake like creatures as they hissed. Natsu was surprised. "They transformed into snake creatures." He observed them. "Strange I don't sense magic from them. However their aura is strong maybe equal to Erza's."

Happy was ready for battle. "Natsu, let's get ready, they're going to kill us for sure!"

Natsu smirked punched his fist into his other hand's palm. "Alright, I'm all fired up now!"

At Water 7.

The three Take-Over Siblings were taken to the hospital each of them in the same room and in their own beds. All three of them were asleep.

Outside the room Paulie was having a discussing with the nurse. "Ma'am, however the three and what is their condition?"

Nurse looked at her clipboard. "All three are expected to make a recover, but what we saw the wounds and their bruises. I have to say they must've gotten into a fight."

That would explain somethings to Paulie however the three teens flying out of the sky and crashing into the ocean but he knew the nurse didn't know not even himself. "Well, when did you think they'll wake up?"

Nurse shook her head. "Not sure, but all we do is wait for them or least one of them to gain consciousness."

Lisanna was sleeping but her eyes were twitching. "Help! Help! A voice cried in her head.

Lisanna found herself in a strange place surrounded by water. "Where am I?" She thought as she looked around in all directions. "Natsu, Elfman, Mira, anyone there out there!"

No answer but then a strange fish like creature was being pursued by some men that were wielding swords and spears. "Look here we got us live fishman for sale!"

The other men chuckled evilly as the teen fish like creature continued to run. "Father help me!" Lisanna observed the creature as the vision started to become clear that fish like creature was running on two legs and wearing a swim suit like pants.

The one of the men took out a pistol and shot the fish creature in the leg making him fall to the ground as Lisanna gasped as she opened abruptly. "Aah!"

Elfman and Mirajane woke due their sister's sudden scream. "Lisanna, what's wrong?"

"Yeah, you have a bad dream?"

Lisanna put her hand on her head. "Yes, but it seemed..." Just then the door opened.

Paulie came in and approached the middle center of rows of beds. "I see you're awake now. Which one of you screamed that nearly made me drop my booze!"

Elfman groaned. "Hey, give my sister Lisanna a break, she just had a nightmare or something?"

Iceberg then walked in. "Oh I see the three are awake now." He gazed at the three siblings and walked over to where Paulie was standing. "Yeah Mr Iceberg sir, the short haired girl screamed."

Iceberg gazed at Lisanna after hearing the description. "Is that so?"

Elfman was gazing at the man who was Iceberg. "Hey, I'm guessing that you're the boss of this other guy?"

A vein popped on Paulie's head. "Hey! Hey! My name is Paulie just so you know big guy!"

Mira cleared her throat. "Excuse me boys..." Everyone looked at the her with a big smile as she looked at Iceberg. "Your name is Iceberg was it? The mayor and boss of Galley- La nodded. "Yes, Granny and her granddaughter found you and your siblings in the ocean nearby the Sea Train Station.

Those words made the three take-siblings curious and confused. "Sea Train Station?"

"What the heck is that? Elfman asked.

Paulie gasped in total surprise. "Hold on! You never heard of the sea train?"

"No." The three siblings answered at the same time.

Just then a galley-la worker came running into the hallway and towards Iceberg. "Boss Iceberg, trouble pirates are on their way here, it's a pirate ship and their captain that's worth 30,000 berries!"

Mira was confused. "Berries, is that mean some kind of money?"

Paulie growled at the sudden situation. "Damn it. Just what we need more pirates."

Iceberg wanted more details on the wanted pirates. "Who the captain's name?"

The Foreman worker took out of few wanted posters. "Let's see." He flipped through the papers he had and found what he was looking for. "This guy: Warren T Swiper Captain of the Claw Pirates."

"This pirates has quick agility and strength and his vice-captain is worth 25,000 billion berries and a expert at using two twin swords!"

Elfman, Lisanna, and Mirajane looked at each other and nodded knowing the citizens of this island are in danger. "Excuse me..." The two Galley La men turned to see Lisanna approaching them. "My siblings and I can help."

At Marineford

Akain gathered some of the Vice-admirals and Admiral Kizaru and few marine captains in the meeting room which was big even for giants to sit in.

Gray had thoughts after his talk with Akainu.

Moments ago.

Gray was following the marines to Akainu's office first. The other marines stood outside in the hallway while Akainu took his sit at his desk to talk to the ice wizard. "Listen Gray Fullbuster, I'll get straight to the point. If you heard there was a war about 1 year. The navy including myself battled against Whitebeard and his allies. They came to rescue Ace after they found out we got him..." Akainu explained the rest of the story including the part where he managed to strike Ace(who shielded his brother Luffy from harm) and then the son of Gold D Roger died including Whitebeard's death and what happened next. "Also I should mention that some pirates including Luffy himself has a devil fruit powers and I possess one myself."

Gray was surprised but had a question of his own to ask. "I see, so what does this have to do with me?"

Akainu smirked. "First off, I see you got potential ever since you saved Tashigi using the same powers as Aokiji. Secondly like I mentioned before more pirates around the world are causing more chaos. Little by little the marines are having more trouble and in the New World I have feeling it's going to worse since Whitebeard died. So I offer you a job as a marine. What will be your answer?

Gray was surprised to offered such a job as the Admiral waited for his answer.

Present.

After the talk with Akainu as Gray's answer as each of the Vice-Admirals, two Admirals, and a few of giant unite members took their seats. "Gray Fullbuster what will be your decision?

Gray was quite as he had his head lowered that hid his eyes for a minute giving serious thought of what he was told. "I say..." He gave a grin. "I will accept." Everyone of the marines expect Akainu and Kizaru smirked while some smiled and grinned.

For Gray he had more thoughts in his head. "I'm not sure why but something tells me I'll need them to give me more intel on everything they know about surviving the Grand Line." His thoughts were replaced by images of his friends. "My friends are probably somewhere in the Grand Line, I can only hope they're safe." Also one more thought occurred to him. "This Aokiji guy, he possessed a power like mine that's crazy but he must be strong though, at any case I have no choice but to join them and maybe they'll give me a chance to travel the Grand Line so that I can find my friends."
